By the time the triplets started to toddle, Sebastian and Ciel were much more comfortable with their new, larger family.
Routines had been established.
Caring for the triplets was a bit easier once they grew out of infancy.
Mina started school and remained a sweet, quiet little girl, content to play with Rabbie and keep to herself.
Sebastian and Ciel were fortunate to have Vincent and Rachel close by.
Their children knew the joys of having grandparents and likewise, Ciel's mother and father enjoyed the bliss of holding their grandbabies.
Sebastian's business empire became larger and even more profitable.
Not that it was necessary, but Sebastian was determined to grow even wealthier.
The handsome alpha made it his goal to be the very best provider that he could be for his little bluenette.
Sebastian was in love with Ciel and he wanted to be a good alpha for her.
Sometimes, Sebastian would whisk Ciel off to a private getaway at an exotic locale, allowing Vincent and Rachel to babysit while he shared some alone time with his omega.
Sometimes Sebastian came home with an expensive gift for his wife just to let her know how much he loved her.
Sometimes, when they had the chance, Sebastian would spend an entire evening purring and holding his beloved bluenette.
Sebastian was a good alpha.
Ciel owed everything that she had to Sebastian.
Sebastian had saved Ciel from human trafficking.
Sebastian had provided a home for Ciel, fine clothes for her to wear, exquisite food for her to eat, and most importantly, Sebastian had given Ciel his heart.
Although Sebastian was the one who had asked for the children, Ciel was very grateful that she had them in her life and she genuinely enjoyed being a mother.
As Mina and the triplets grew older, Ciel marveled at how quickly the years seemed to pass.
One early morning, the bluenette watched out of her bedroom window while the triplets loaded their cars to go off to University.
Mina had returned home for the weekend on Friday to wish her brothers well.
The eldest Michaelis child had been fortunate to come, it wasn't easy for Mina to leave her veterinarian school program.
Ciel sighed to herself as she thought.
"What's the matter, my precious kitten~?" Sebastian purred in Ciel's ear, sidling up behind her to wrap his hands around her petite waist and kiss her ear lovingly.
"Everything's gone so fast." Ciel chuckled. "The triplets are leaving tomorrow, then our house will be….."
"...Empty." Sebastian finished Ciel's statement quietly.
Sebastian frowned when he saw the look of sadness on Ciel's face.
"We can always make more, kitten~." Sebastian offered.
"At my age?" Ciel asked, narrowing her eyes at her alpha.
Sebastian shrugged and kissed Ciel's shoulder. "If it makes you happy….."
"That wasn't what I meant, Sebastian." Ciel said with a huff.
The bluenette squeaked in surprise as Sebastian lifted her and carried her back over to the bed.
"They'll call us when they can, and besides, it'll just be you and I~, just like when we first met~." Sebastian purred, starting to slowly cover Ciel in soft, loving kisses.
The kisses of an alpha in love.
Kisses which told Ciel that Sebastian's feelings for her were ageless and he would be beside her until the end of their days.
Kisses that felt wonderful….
"You and I?" Ciel asked between gasps.
Sebastian paused for a moment and moved up to look at Ciel intently. "You and I~." Sebastian purred in response.
Sebastian didn't give Ciel empty words, he gave her a guarantee.
Sebastian leaned in but Ciel caught his lips first and they fell back against the pillows.
The door was locked…
It was still early….
The triplets and Mina wouldn't miss them if they took twenty minutes to themselves…
Sebastian and Ciel.
"I love you, Ciel~." Sebastian whispered while Ciel started to unbutton his shirt,
"I love you too, Sebastian. Stay with me, forever." Ciel breathed hurriedly into their heated kiss.
Sebastian's eyes were soft but intense as he hovered over Ciel, completely bare a few seconds later, and promised with a deep growl from his chest, "Forever, my precious kitten~."
