Heeeeey! Merry Christmas!!!!!! I really hope you guys don't mind that this is a looong fan fiction. I've always been a descriptive person with everything. And I hate it lol. So, enjoy!
Calypso's POV
When Calypso woke up, she felt very peaceful. She was in a large bed, she had beautiful plants facing her, and there was golden rays from the sun hitting her bed area.
But, as soon she got, there was a loud BOOM! that thundered through the dorms.
"What was that..?" Calypso asked herself as she rushed to the common room along with Hazel and Piper who also woke up from the explosion.
"I swear to the gods... If they seriously already ruined the dorms.. " Piper muttered.
When they got there, there was a cloud of grey smoke and a few things looked as though they were a victim of a flamethrower. Once the smoke cleared a bit, Calypso saw Frank, Thalia, Reyna, and Annabeth with burnt hair and black stuff all over their faces. She then heard Jason, Will, and Nico tumble down the stairs. Everyone who wasn't covered in ash (including Calypso) burst out laughing. Thalia tried to glare at them but the way that her hair was sticking up was making none of them scared.
"What happened to you guys?!" Jason asked while almost collapsing to the ground.
"I don't know. Ask them" Annabeth said seriously as she pointed to Frank, Thalia, and Reyna.
Reyna looked at both of them and scooted away with her hands in the air, "I'm the one that told her not to do it".
Thalia started laughing awkwardly, "Well... You see... Annabeth was teaching us a few useful potions".
Calypso looked down some. There was four bowl-like things that Calypso instantly recognized as cauldrons.
Thalia continued, "And... Well... I wanted to make the potion silver. So, I added some of the silver stuff... "
Calypso turned around to see a bottle of glassy-silver liquid. It was knocked over and seemed to be burning a hole through the rug.
Annabeth rubbed her face, "Now we have to ask Hecate to fix up the dorms. Thanks".
Thalia rolled her eyes playfully as Annabeth went to the bathroom, "I said I was sorry!"
They all started laughing again, until they realized two of their members weren't there.
"Hey, where's Percy and Leo?" Piper asked.
"Don't tell me.. " Calypso said.
"I think they are still sleeping", said Jason.
No. Way.
"Dude, that explosion could've woken up the whole castle if our walls weren't soundproof!" said Will.
"Ugh... I'll get Leo and Percy", Calypso volunteered and went upstairs to the boys area.
When she entered, she realized that their sleeping area was the same the girls' one. Except for the colors but that's it.
How come the common room doesn't have everything the sleeping areas have?
I'll change it later. First I need to see the damages that young Thalia did. Trust me, I heard it.
Oh. Thanks I guess.
Calypso didn't really know how to talk to a goddess who didn't do anything when she was trapped in Ogygia.
It was a long time ago.. Drop it Calypso.
Indeed. "Drop it".
I wasn't talking to you!
Calypso rolled her eyes and went over to a sleeping Leo. She kinda liked his area. But it was completely different in theme from hers. She had natural plants and warm colors while he had a sorta... work room. But, at least she could tell it was Leo's.
Calypso may not act like she really really cares about him, but she does. She really loves him. But she could never will herself to tell him so. After all, everyone she fell in love with one way or another left her.
What was I doing...? Oh right! Waking Leo up.
She shook him a bit, "Hey, Leo, wake up. After we figure out a situation downstairs, we're getting breakfast".
Leo moved a bit, but didn't get up.
"Leo.. " she said in a warning voice.
He opened his eyes, "Come on... After years of those terrible orphanage beds, let me stay here".
Calypso felt bad, but if she would let him stay there, he would never get up.
"Leo, I'm sorry. But come onnnnnn" she was trying to grab his arms but he then turned on his back.
"Noooooo", whined Leo.
"Leo get up!" Calypso said. She grabbed onto his arm and was, trying but failing, to pull him up.
"I don't feel like it!"
"You never feel like it."
"Exactly!"
"Hmph. Fine. Go starve", Calypso said, throwing her arms up in the air.
"Wait..! Ugh, fine I'm getting up", Leo said, forcing himself up.
"Finally", Calypso said, done with the day already.
Oh gods, he's too much sometimes...
But you looove him.
Shut up, Hecate!
Once Leo got up and put on his Olympus uniform (Chiron and 'Professor Flitwick' were going to show them some spells to try out later), they went over to Percy's area.
After a few moments both Leo and Calypso said, "Yeahhhhh, nope".
They ended up grabbing Annabeth and she successfully woke him up as usual. Then Calypso and a few of the others changed into their robes.
They wandered to the common room and left to the Great Hall. On the way there, they bumped into Hermione.
"Oh hey, Hermione", Annabeth said.
Hermione stopped in her tracks and turned around, "Oh, hello. I'm taking this up to Harry". She waved around a piece of toast.
"How come he's not coming down?" Percy asked.
"Uh... ", said Hermione, she pushed back a strand of her hair, "Harry and Ron aren't on the... best, of terms right now".
Huh?... Ohhhhh.
"How come?" asked Leo, but then Calypso nudged him.
You can't just ask that!
He then understood what she meant, "OH. You don't need to explain of you don't want to.. "
Hermione shrugged, "I don't really know myself why they are acting like this. I mean -I know the reason, just not why they suddenly decide not to even look each other in the eyes".
Reyna cracked a smile, "Boys are boys. Who knows what goes on in their head?"
"Hey!" shouted every boy present in protest.
Hermione giggled and she went off after waving to them.
"Well since there is no one we really talk to besides them, do you want to go to the Hufflepuff table?" Thalia asked.
"I'm fine with it", said Jason.
They all agreed and ended up eating there; chatting with the people around them.
The demigods finally finished eating and needed to go to a different passage way this time.
Luckily, it was Reyna who held the map this time. And Reyna never forgets things.
"So, you know where the Great Hall is?" Reyna asked everyone.
Percy said, "Nooo, of course we don't know where it is.. " then we pointed to the door right next to them.
Reyna glared at him but he just chuckled.
She continued, "Anyway, there are fire columns here. One of has a lock behind the fire part, but it's only there when there is flames".
"So basically", Jason said, "We need to stick our hand through the fire and unlock the lock".
"Yup", Reyna said.
"It's kinda open, don't you think? The passage way", Annabeth said.
Piper shrugged, "Maybe it's like those 'hidden in plain sight' type of things".
Annabeth obviously looked like she was thinking.. "So, if we don't have a key, then that means that it must be a pin or passcode. Leo- "
"I'm on it", Leo smirked.
Ninety percent of Leo's clothes were fire-proof thanks to Calypso. Even though she left the island along with her magic, she still could weave very well.
Leo stuck his arm through the fire. He then looked like he was reaching for something.
He said, "I can't tell if it is a pin code or pass code".
Then, much to everyone's surprise, he quickly shoved his head in the fire.
"Leo!" Calypso gasped.
He pulled his head back out, "I don't know, it's pretty hard to see... Wait. Isn't my bird fire-proof?"
"Yeah! Maybe she can see through it and some how give us a sign", Annabeth exclaimed.
"Well that works out well. Elpidaaaaaaaaa!" Leo shouted.
"SHHH!!" All the demigods followed.
"What? She can hear me", Leo said.
"Leo, there is no way that the bird can- " Nico started but never finished because they heard a flapping of wings.
Elpida cawed and landed on Leo's shoulder.
Well. dang.
"You were saying, Nico?" Leo said.
Nico just turned around and said, "Hmph!"
"Ok, Elpida, I need you to tell us if that is a pincode or a passcode," Leo said.
She nodded and went through the fire. After a few beeps, she came back out and was pulling a handle with easy.
"Wait", Calypso said.
"Is that the handle of the door?" Annabeth asked.
Elpida nodded.
She pulled the handle a bit more and the fire column pulled back and created a stepping stone for the demigods.
"Thanks Elpida", They all said at different times.
They walked through and the door seemed to close by itself. The entire tunnel was lit with torches unlike the Black Passage.
"Sooooooo what are we going to call this passage?" Will asked.
"Definitely not White Passage. Or any other color, Leo", Hazel said when she saw Leo raising his hand.
"Maybe the Fire Passage?" Frank said as he was making sure he wasn't too close to the flames.
"I like that. Annabeth?" Piper asked.
"Yeah. This passage had a lot to do with fire apparently" Annabeth replied.
Once they reached the end of the passage, they saw another room. Except, this one was brown but obviously new. It smelled like wood and parchment.
"So", said a short man that Calypso could assume would be professor Flitwick, "You found us".
...
So, hope you enjoyed this chapter! Sorry it's so short, but I'm planning something for the next few chapters so get ready for some excitement! Bye, and again, Merry Christmas!! Next update 12/28/19
