Hello everyone, I haven't updated in years and seeing if you got to this last official chapter. I tried to continue to write this, but I couldn't. HB & P became a huge project for me, but I want to say there is a little over 13k words from my notes. This chapter is devoted completely to future chapters I couldn't complete + notes/lore. I just wanted to give you guys some form of closure if that makes sense. Just be prepared if some concepts are repeated, I wrote all of my notes on my phone, so if anything seems off kilter that's why.
If anyone finds inspiration from these ideas or adopt the fic I wouldn't mind. To this day I love the fandom, kind of stalk the tags on fanfiction . net and Ao3 lol.
Chapter 18
Theresa is helping theatre kids with their winter production. It is the biggest one where twirlers, dancers, and band (orchestra) will be in there. Morgan realizes that she likes Randy since she is constantly looking at him when he comes to deliver cookies that the Home Ec made for everyone. The junior teases her that her crush won't look at her if there are people around like Cynthia. (even though Howard and Randy don't like her that much)
Theresa becomes Maiden due to jealousy. She doesn't hurt anyone but she sashays up to Randy and asks him how he is doing, people are awed by her presence instead of running away.
The ribbons on her sleeves are her weapon
Randy goes on a date with her and wants to understand what is going on in her head. Phoenix comes in later to find out that the akuma isn't taken care of, and pulls Randy to the side to help him get rid of it in Theresa. Randy stands his ground about not letting Phoenix try to attack her. He wants deal with this himself and he hopes that he can get out of Theresa without fighting.
Just as Randy is making progress Phoenix comes in and destroys it as he fights Maiden. Randy groans and tries to stop the fight and his action cause Maiden to break whatever the stank snake is in (bc love) despite what Sorcerer wants. She forgets about everything she did with Randy and Randy acts like he just found Theresa and treats her to ice-cream
Jacques POV he sees how Randy treats her as a person and that there is potential for akumas to be humans without purification.
He was shooting a video in the park that they were in. He managed to weasel his way out of the theatre or goes there after the 2 hours of working on the thing. Doesn't want to go play basketball with his friends to make videos for his online followers.
Chapter 18.5 Secret Meeting part 3
Tennu gets on Nommi's case about having to fend off the chaos/stank before it could harm his host. Apparently Jacques was influenced by it a bit. Not enough to turn his back on Hidden because his main obsession is him.
Nommi is oddly quiet during this, trying to fend off the voices of the other gods that are patched together in his head.
Dan is there in the background.
Nommi sighs and says that it isn't his problem that the love bug pit Tennu's partner especially during the time he met Tennu's other half.
Dan asks if Nommi felt any of the effects from the hallucination and Nommi avoids the question. By asking Tennu the effect of the stank. Tennu said that he burned it all off once Jacques went back. He says if Hidden was going to use purifying tears he should at least cry on the pendant that he is bound to.
Chapter 19 (Could be the play with the bard)
Starts off with Hidden thinking he is Randy and in the perfect world of his choosing. The akuma of the day typically daydreams and manages to put Hidden under it.
Unknowingly as Hidden appears in his head to be Randy he drags Darcy into it. He thinks that she is his dead sister, he is paying a lot of attention to her which makes Phoenix a little jealous, even asking her to call her by his childhood nickname RaRa (or BoBo because he wanted her to say Big Brother).
Stupid dangerous for Phoenix
Randy is going about his day and feels some underlying emotion of something dark (jealousy) and a faint voice (doesn't work so Nommi has to switch plans) to see the words around him doesn't make any sense.
Towards the end of the hallucination Randy sees something from Nommi's past, where the god was surrounded by 8 others and there are other things/gods in the background. The people standing over Nommi is the Norisu 9
Meanwhile Phoenix gets his ass stank'd due to jealousy, anger, unworthiness, and disappointment. Hidden snaps out of it.
(Purifying Tears happens when the user feels sad or despair, yet they continue to fight. The purifying sword is the intent of an emotion to make it glow. With the tears the surrounding area is calm and there is a sense of temporary peace where people can take solace, it's there for 3 weeks. It's dangerous too, if Hidden doesn't do it correctly it could backlash against him, causing him to be under Sorcerer's control and needs Purification Fire which Phoenix doesn't know yet. The burns/singed clothing will heal and recovery will be slow because chaos magic is dangerous and Nommi is both vulnerable yet have a strength for being the current god of Hidden Talents. Purifying Tears is a true mediator skill that few achieve because it is their hidden talent + crying (so Randy will have wind go around him as he cries))
Hidden deals with Phoenix glowing green because of Purifying Tears (he was already at the point of despair from seeing a happy world of his sister being alive in high school and feeling dread of Phoenix going down). Or can go avenue where he unknowingly gives Phoenix what he wants "I care about you and no one else can match that"- doubt that will happen as of right now as their relationship is friends nearing crush levels. Thus Hidden just goes to fight and cry/hug him
Phoenix snaps out of it and the area around him is calm.
Chapter 19.5
Bucky episode where Randy helps the guy out because Buck feels depressed about turning into a akuma constantly that it affects people becoming friends with him.
Chapter 20
(Randy hears about the secret santa exchange going on and everyone has a limit to buy something under $35. Randy gets Julian something and he helps Howard. WHen aunt comes in he gets her to help him with sewing up the 2 dolls)
Things are awkward between the two and people are picking up on it. There has been a few akuma attacks from Bo Master and Laughter so that is bad. Phoenix is the first one to extend olive branch because he has been avoiding his crush and Hidden does not know how to act around him.
Phoenix talks about how he has been feeling overwhelmed from all the emotions. Smallest things set him off and Hidden talks about how he feels terrible because someone close to him die when young.
Both of them go into the Book of Knowledge and train together, doing exercises and trying to find his balance again. Two manage to get to a castle area by random, and whenever they try to get out they have to do some meditation. They have to separate self from kwami and touch their minds to understand one another. They have a blindfold over their eyes and can't see one another. Kwamis are in god form and keeps a watch over the two. When Jacques peaks he looks at Hidden who is serene with his red hair bleeding to a darker color and his clothes turning into a simple cloak around him. He sees a dark figure with 8 pairs of eyes staring at him and one of the pairs (shadow god) jumps onto Hidden and hides his true self with a shadow cloak masking his figure. When Jacques turns behind him he sees a silhouette of a human-ish Tennu, but his top half of a man with mismatch red and gold eyes.
Nommi speaks with his voice fluctuating "Of course that ingrate of a disciple is the first to look," and Jacques is startled. He glances at Hidden and hopes that he can't hear. Nommi eases his worries saying that Hidden can't hear him and when Hidden peaks he will see flames surrounding his form. The God speaks that why he should have the trust of his wielder, like he should tell him about Damian. Jacques retorts that it isn't important. He knows that he'll tell him when he is ready just like Hidden will tell him eventually about his problems. Nommi brings up the identity, and the other blushes saying he shouldn't be curious to know who his partner is and spend time with. After a while, Nommi gives the "ok" essentially to a relationship even though he is acting like an ass.
Meanwhile Randy is talking to Tennu who is lax about the whole thing. Randy looks at Nommi and makes a comment that he is too little which peaks Tennu's interest. Perceptive to see what is wrong but can't name it. Tennu tells him about Nommi's health and that he should keep an eye on his actions and comments. Then shifts to how Randy wants to know about Phoenix, Tennu drops a hint that his parents barely acknowledge him and he is experiencing stress by trying to not let his feelings scare the person he cares about (Hidden). Randy sees no harm in it (why should you be angsting over your crush, he says that Phoenix is super confident), and Tennu laughs, commenting that the slightest things cause emotions to twist. Tells him to keep an eye on him because every Phoenix and HB keep each other in check.
He will soon be gaining the ability to scent out targets and have sharp vision after the bond. Randy wonders how they are getting new abilities and what the disciples are. Disciples/worshipers are people who gain life long skills from the God and are the voice of them (Phoenix). They are people who can ask for help/wisdom from their God. Warriors are people graced with gifts and need to follow orders of their god, mainly handling any discord around.
After this session they touch heads and Phoenix and HB are able to communicate mentally. Both wonder why communication is there for and Nommi explains that the bond initiated by Phoenix and not many pairs manage to get that far, especially when their partnership is young. With their thoughts linking, they can share but it's a bit taxing, Hidden can use red fire and Phoenix can use wind blades and purification flames.
Mental link is just for their hero persona and not civilians, but the hero can feel the faint emotion of the other as a civilian. (aka HB can feel J, but J can't. Or P can feel R but R can't with the other)
Chapter 20.5
Character analysis of powers and such. Clearing up some misconceptions of their powers and the addition of them. Like as Phoenix, the only way that he can use purification flames is utilizing Tennu's domain aka passion. Also state that Jacques is no longer having mood swings because he forms a solid connection with Hidden Bun after last chapter.
Chapter 21
Damian posted fliers for counselling in a group therapy session. People meet regularly with people trying to understand why they became akumas/remembering what happened.
He's trying to make people upset in a passive way. Randy waits around for Julian and sees Theresa. He greets her and all of the Der Monster Klub, and jokes that it looks like the whole DMK is meeting up multiple times a week.
Theresa is the first to transform with a comment from Damian and she sees Randy. He acts cool around her, not running and she gets embarrassed. Randy complements her that she can actually be cool with her bo staff, and the girl was chasing down Damian for what he said.
During this time, Randy's Aunt Elizabeth (double check) is there with her adoptive son (FtM). The two are close to one another and they occasionally go to the other's house across the country.
Randy's cousin stays until the next chapter. He hasn't seen the school and finds out that his Aunt is one of the designers in cupzAndeath company. Unfortunately she cannot participate in the Pride parade. Elizabeth's girlfriend is an accountant to one of the McFist branches she lives.
With a lot of akumas (half of the previous akumas like Mirror Master, Laughter, obviously Bo Master, Ding Smash, and Hypnotica) transformed, still in the area of the councillors group therapy area Hidden shows up first followed by Phoenix. Purification Tears is used, draining Hidden who just about collapses. Phoenix's back is turned and Damian was about to snatch up Hidden, he was hiding in a closet observing the situation. He sees that Phoenix scoops up Hidden in his arms and he suspects that Jacques is compromised by his feelings. He also sees that Jacques has new abilities, the wind blades, which he never had.
In J's POV he is in Damian's office after Mrs. Green chews him out. His internship is almost up or tells him he's on thin ice as the session was a disaster. Jacques notices Damian's thumb nail is bitten and asks about why he caused it. Damian gives a bullshit excuse to help people work through their issues as they all have a commonality, being stank'd, but Jacques brings up that not all the students had the same stank'd emotion (upset, angry, jealousy etc.)
Tennu definitely informs Dan to keep a closer eye on Damian, that he should be taken care of if he does one more stunt. Dan and Nommi would work together to erase Damian's memories when he commits another incident.
(Or he doesn't do the whole tears of purification to fill everyone in the area with calm feelings. Phoenix will be there to give some support because the "attack" is draining. Damian sees the closeness between the two. However I can move this around until after New Years because Randy will figure out that Damian is Julian's brother and is sent to a relaxation clinic. If possible, golden flames of purification happens later)
During this time everyone in there is an akuma and Phoenix manages to utilize golden flames that lick the whole body, seeking out the stank that is burned alive. If flames hit the skin of the akuma's it just turn red. Phoenix loves the development, and Hidden is impressed because he doesn't recall other Phoenix heroes doing this. (can hold off power later)
Damian sees a flash of white and the drained form of Hidden. He decides to take him. A lot of students are missing from major attacks and no one realizes Randy is missing, besides Howard.
Chapter 23
Where there is the gift giving. Randy sneaks out on the eve to leave Julian's present on his doorstep. Randy does the final touches of his present (two dolls with detachable head and a guillotine) and he drops it off
Randy also gives a gift to Jacques, actually writing that it is from him. The gift is a soccer ball and a popular fighting game that he knows the other has a console for.
Randy realizes that his parents signed him up to a trip to France/Paris during Spring Break and has to learn French
There is a gift giving for Phoenix and Hidden separately on the day of Christmas. The two are just enjoying everything as they wait for midnight. The two kiss on the cheek, well Hidden does because they were under mistletoe.
There is a mystical being that comes down from a mountain and is causing some trouble with the weather? It does whatever it wants
Chapter 24 (mainly Jacques pov)
Nommi becomes sick, but not too much; after New Years
Randy goes to the councilor office and Jacques is there when he needs to talk to Damian and ask about him from his therapist wondering how he is (referencing that Randy goes to counseling occasionally; might be him talking to Mrs. Green and the relaxation thing going on. Also Randy is getting stressed with homework). They talk a bit before Randy leaves. Jacques then sees his mentor and the two talk about their winter break. Damian comments about Randy giving a gift to his little bro and Jacques reevaluates that Randy isn't much of an asshole while he does his homework in the office.
Bucky gets jealous of what Flute Girl got from a student, she said it was exactly what she wanted and everyone is showing off their gifts to people. He becomes the singing akuma that looks like a human. (I have no idea what his power is man)
Phoenix and Hidden exchange some quips and how people get upsets about their gifts. Nommi is not feeling well and it affects his transformation a bit before Nommi internalizes it instead of sharing pain with Randy. Which is why he gets worse because he has to share it.
The start where Nomi and Randy will have slight difficulties transforming through it won't be prominent until later.
Damian gets to stay in Norrisville High until the second week of January as he extended his intern time with Mrs. Green as she likes the guy
Chapter 25 (The gaming convention) (Longer to transform and that Randy himself is feeling tired as Hidden; Nommi can't keep this up right now)
Randy and Howard cosplay as Grave Punchers during the gaming convention. Adam is also there, cosplayed as Phoenix and his mom, cupzAnddeath was also there as three iterations ago HB, who was female at the time. Jacques is there with his host family the Jeffersons(?) as he's bonding with their son as the adults go do their own thing at panels. Randy and Howard are there to get the new limited edition Grave Puncher XXXV, completely skipping the previous iterations because instead of punching graves it's the zombie apocalypse and the PCs are zombies so the goal is to survive until getting all the humans and animals. Also need to revive the fallen humans in cemetaries to get mroe zombies there.
When a rogue AI of an adventure/dating sim decides to control the convention
Chapter 26
Victor Van Dam episode except Randy confronts Nommi because the other hasn't been doing too well. He's been taking care of the kwami for two days and is forced to transform to deal with McFist's robot.
Randy gets mind wiped after Nommi forces him to transform. Afterword, Nommi becomes 2 with slightly different personalities (Nommi with red eyes: hidden talent, earth, memories, and mental ability. The other Nommi with more red marks on his body: _). Howard takes the bracelet and transforms, taking the red marked Nommi. As he is fighting, Nommi awakens a bit and contacts him via mindlink using the ability of the 1st God and it is the god's voice he hears. Randy regains memories of being HB and learns how to temporarily fix him.
Meanwhile HB!Howard is not having a good time once Phoenix shows up (he's similar to how he acted in VVD episode)
Phoenix pulls HB!Howard aside and gets a bit aggressive with his questioning. He asks about where his partner is or else he is in a world of hurt. HB!Howard tries to say he is the hero, and says he can ask him anything and he would know the answer to. Phoenix asks him some questions and Howard doesn't know them. Howard says that the real one is out of commission, doesn't divulge that he forgot about being HB.
Howard leads them to a public place so Phoenix won't attack him or inquire about where/who his partner is. Howard receives a mental message from the Nommi with Randy but the stank'd robot shows up. Phoenix and Howard try to beat it, but it is learning (Randy, Howard, Jacques pov). The two lead the robot to the dam, Howard leaves from the fight to transform back as Randy becomes Hidden again before showing up and Phoenix deals with the final blow, using purifying flames as he shoves the robot off the damn.
Phoneix thinks that someone supposably blackmailing HB and making him do things, which was why he was very aggressive with HB!Howard. Basically Phoenix is mad that Hidden didn't trust him enough that his identity is blown,
Tennu visits Randy later on at night to check up on Nommi and he finds out that the kwamis talk to each other a lot. Tennu says that Nommi is like the others, and so is he. They are special cases meant to balance each other out. Randy asks if he can give him a message to him. Randy types something up on the computer and prints it out then signs it with his signature of Hidden with bunny ears. Jacques ets to read it and hears from Tennu what is going on.
Chapter 27
End of a robot battle Phoenix suggests that he found the previous Phoenix and was getting some tips from him while Hidden was trying to talk to him about the sorcerer (about being an old god). Phoenix leaves first, as he used his power and Hidden takes a moment to rest.
Damian shows up and pretends to be in distress, and Hidden assess the situation before being chloroformed by him. Hidden wakes up to being tied to a chair with chains and a number lock was used. He monologues to an ungagged Hidden (later when he hears Julian call for him as Hidden shouts because enhanced hearing) about wanting the power to use the miraculous again. He wants the fame and recognition again while learning more about the miraculouses, as he found that Phoenix has new capabilities that wasn't seen before and all Hiddens have different capabilities. Nommi is seething in the background, hearing how someone who was chosen became worse, as he realized his mentality was the "ends justify the means" but he was going on. He would pop out but he writes a lot in the peripheral of Hidden's vision instead of taking over his body (because he's weak af rn) (Damian is kind of like a ego maniac, he could have taken Hidden's miraculous but he didn't while he was unconscious)
Julian comes to the kitchen calling for Damian. Hidden is screaming out that he needs help. Damian gags him and leaves the basement. When Hidden hears that Damian leaves he causes noise, drawing Juliann's attention. The poor guy thinks a ghost haunts the basement and finds Hidden there.
Julian brings Hidden his sword to leave a message to Phoenix. He does not answer, so Hidden leaves a voicemail about how he's trapped in Damian/Julian's basement with no way out and he better pray that he's not part of this. Julian gets a basic explanation about how the heroes are chosen, Hidden says his brother was a previous user.
Julian then tries out multiple codes on the lock and the two talk. Last resort is that Julian gives Hidden his sword and he uses his attack on himself to cut the chains/chair without accidentally killing himself (not really as the suit protects the heroes from fatal damage). Hidden gets himself out of it using his sword as Julian says he can't get him out.
Once free, Hidden takes some paper and writes down a phone number-Dan's-from Nommi writing/talking. Hidden tells Julian to not tell his brother what he knows as, to quote Nommi "Difficulty in making the known unknown but it is plausible" and Hidden says/tacks on "selective amnesia?"
When Hidden is home as Randy, Howard's already there and was wondering where he was. He spills the beans to his best friend and the three contemplate whether Phoenix was in on the whole kidnapping. Well Randy saying it, Howard says that the guy is "like in love with you" so he wouldn't do it. Nommi says Phoenix was unaware of Damian's intentions. Randy says he'll confront the guy tomorrow and the two play grave punchers after the phone call.
Second part could be Randy calling the number saying what happened to Dan and saying that Nommi is still weak, not as much as before. Dan uses Nommi's memory capability and targets Damian's memories by going to the shop after seeing Nommi and having the kwami bless some green perfume with memory altercation/suggestions that's good for a few hours that would typically target jealousy.
Tells the guy to forget he ever was Phoenix, get the password to his laptop and all his login information, and that he breaks into the house to destroy any evidence by using his sight (he legit can see emotions and can track objects embedded with them).
Damian no longer goes to Norrisville high as his internship of learning how to be a counsellor is up.
27.5
Jacques did not see the message but the next day he sees Hidden suited up, waiting by the flagpole in the beginning of the day. He becomes Phoenix and does not see the voicemails and Hidden starts the line of questioning of "Do you like me because I always liked you?" "Of course I do! I've-" "So you liking me leads me to being chained up for who knows how long in Damian's basement! Sorry, no, just. The previous Phoenix drugged me up and I was scared. I stayed there for who knows how long and Julian now knows some stuff but not a lot. But can we be honest with each other?"
School is not a safe place to feel any kind of negativity so this wraps up where Hidden says he needs some space and for the sake of their partnership they will tell each other things regarding to their hero identities.
Chapter 28
Sorceress in love. Goddess of love and war got corrupted by chaos energy and became insane/twisted. Stil likes the Sorcerer (Jealousy and Love goes hand-in-hand in some cases)and re-met him while destroying things
Still capable of making people fall for her, though that was toward those who like women now. Prior she could make anyone love her, as her default the goddess of Love (whether it be platonic, romantic, or sexual) appearance would take on their loved ones form but prettier. Other gods and demons would be able to see her true form.
Similar to the episode as the males were under her command because of a minor love spell as she manipulated them. She can sense love still although her capabilities are hindered. Most of her "power" i.e. corrupted abilities are in the rock around her neck (shard of chaotic/corruptive/currosive thing that is in Sorcerer's orbs but it's fixed. She is twisted by it and protects it vehemently.
Makes a comment about Tengu and Tennu's love and how there is a strain with Phoenix and Hidden's.
After this their issues are solved as they band together to make sure the Sorceress doesn't get the Sorcerer out.
Chapter 29
McFear episode where everyone learns Hidden is scared of chickens, losing someone close to him, and chains. Phoenix is scared of not fitting in and an English woman who has so much make-up caked on and trying to force him into a unstylish purple jumper with bright orange spots. He is scared of his aunt choosing his clothes because she doesn't understand fashion. Plus it was what hurt his feelings when he was a toddler so he chooses his own clothes to not ruin the image of himself and be normal(he's rich trying to be normal)
Chapter 30
Where Jacques is friends with Howard and Randy after thinking a lot. He decided to not linger on regrets and live his life as is, is more honest towards his friends and speaks his mind instead of just being nice (although he is sassy nice)
Someone get's stank'd and the two heroes time out at different times. It is Phoenix who captures the stank snake and Randy has to wait for Nommi to recharge to purify it. Fans are all around Phoenix and he tries to flee as he needs to find a place where people won't hound him. He meets Randy as Nommi is trying to eat. Randy buys time for Nommi to eat to ask him a couple of questions. Like if he remembers him and Howard from way back during the time that the two snuck into the high school as elementary students (where Phoenix has to say it was his older brother who was for that, referencing the whole alibi that heroes are part of a family that protects the city)
Nommi is still sick. He looks a bit pink and is grouchy.
Chapter 31
Randy is on stress leave as Darcy said he was way to stressed/looked tired. Mrs. Green sends Randy to a relaxation clinic, which was discussed earlier, and Randy lies about the cause of his stress (like doing lots of homework) when the man talks to him.
Therapy in the relaxation group is actually hypnotism and Randy gets out because of the wiggling feeling at the back of his head. He gains more resistance from hallucination akumas.
Put in the notes about autogenic relaxation or time management techniques that counsellors would suggest
Chapter 32
Cunningham approved. Trio (Jacques is finally friends with them again) is in Greg's Game Hole and Howard is the hero of the day. They go to a club owned by the Sorceress, and the trio get rid of her. Howard gets the fame from most students, Randy figures out that Phoenix is Jacques and that he is sworn to not tell. Which he won't due to Randy is able to keep secrets. He is freaking out, and says that if Nommi knew that, the kwami gives him a stare of "oh really" and Randy remembers that it was him and Tennu who gave their holders name to the other kwami just in case of something happening.

Nommi splits into 2 aka the NomiRandy episode where Nommi thought he could make himself better? [refer to chapter 34 if not choosing this idea]
J POV. Realized that Tennu is gone even though he left out the jerky. When the kwami comes back, Tennu tells him that Hidden's kwami was having some problems (Nommi goes back into one being after Tennu hands Randy some incense saying that he should contact him or Dan for help. Tells him that the incense is temporary and to bully Nommi into allowing him to share the pain. Nommi is a stubborn ass about it and won't let his partner feel too much, but does allow for some of it). J says if the two will be alright.
Chapter 33
McOne arm is a go.
Valentine's day special
Akuma turns into making people forcefully obsess over a person/object, or turn people into little cupids hat terrorize other people. All because one person didn't they get a valentine heart from a special someone they had their eye on.
There is a V-day love special from Heidi with couples kissing or telling plans. Randy and Howard walk out of the room seeing that to their lockers are adorned with paper. Randy gets a love note but doesn't know who it is.
There is a relay run where random students are chosen to hold a wooden heart to give to a special someone then get cake. If the other person accepts, they get the cake. The wooden heart can be stolen by random people.
Chapter 34
Randy is asking to follow Nommi advice 24/7 and it gets annoying. He's annoyed that Randy acts like he has no sense of self; also the longer Randy doesn't ask as himself, the less sane Nommi is. Nommi creates a duplicate of Randy while the real one is trapped in a room in school aka NomiRandy. Howard ends up finding the real Randy is locked up in school when he heads there as Phoenix is dealing with a jealous Theresa who is the Maiden. As the Maiden she uses her sleeves to attack and Phoenix is having his hands full with her. He calls Hidden, but he doesn't answer; later duplicate Hidden/NomiHidden answers. When that is all over Randy gets on Nommi's case to find out why he did that. Nommi says he wants a partner/warrior not a worshipper, and he speaks in riddles in spite of him because he gets his enjoyment when Randy is frustrated. It is usually a small part of Nommi that helps solve the problem or guide Randy to the answer.
Chapter 35
Spring break to Paris. Randy is stretching from the long flight and Nommi isn't feeling great again. He gave the BoK to Phoenix because he is leaving, and Principal Slimovitz is the instructor with Mr. Banister.
Go to the National Museum and the Eiffel Tower. They are there for 7 days, Ladybug and Chat Noir deal with whatever villain is after Dark Cupid. Randy wants to help out, but it would be suspicious, Randy leaves after the whole thing after being in the hotel across from Chloe's family hotel. He does so because Nommi says 2 heroes active in Paris and takes him to Fu's shop.
Sneaking into Fu's shop where Randy asks if he has any cure for disease. Fu gives Randy the incense to make Nommi better like before and tells the kwami he should have Randy synchronize with him more. To let him give him some strength since the two are really compatible.
Fu tells Randy that kwami's like Nommi and a few others made the kwami's in ML. He states Nommi is in need of rest and needs to syphon off energy for him or unlock a hidden ability unique to Randy because Purifying Tears and Hidden Luck are general. Hidden Luck helps with his true ability, which is either energy. Energy for a second wind where he won't be that tired if he does Purifying Tears, giving him an additional 10 min before detransforming.
The 4-Fu, Randy, Nommi, and the turtle/Wayzz-watch old news segment to see that Phoenix is assisting like the demon. Randy is confused and is told that the originals are gods/once were gods. Tengu is the only demon who merged with a god, and Fu thinks that is unholy/wrong. Randy keeps his personal disposition to himself about how Tengu is cool, since he helped him before.
When Randy goes back to the hotel he wonders who Phoenix is, unaware that Phoenix has his own house.
Next day he saves a small girl and her babysitter from an accident. There was a car crash and they are trapped. Before the news comes on, Hidden saves them and goes onto the rooftops. He comments that they are easier to run on.
Chapter 36
Phoenix getting dark wings aka part 2 of Paris
He meets up with his parents, sister, and talks to his old friends, like Aidren and Chloe but other people as well like OCs who are crew on his dad's sets.
His version of events that transpired-interacting with the Chat Noir and Ladybug as both a civilian from Dark Cupid and also when he goes to see the heroes attacking Hidden-and he narrows down Hidden's identity. The Norrisville High students do not manage to send out a message overseas about what happened because they didn't have a certain app or their timing was bad when video chatting. When they come back they forget about the news of seeing the heroes outside of their hometown.
Notes:
Theresa is confident when she's not screaming in terror, basically she needs to get used to a situation. She's a bit love struck with Randy, but she can be forward when not overcome with shyness (when she isn't overthinking). She finds out Randy's secret identity she'll be a bit worried, due to fighting him but not remembering. She found out due to him not being able to cover it up well.
[Ch. idea] Plop Plop is a God and Creep's right hand man, he is the only one who isn't a Kwami due to his force field as he keeps the old gods weapons from being found/taken even in dormant state. Unfortunately for him, items are found when he is asleep as his barrier keeps people out with bad intentions (not architects). Contacts the Creep to send a message to the Kwamis to retrieve the items and the wielders can't get due to reputation will be ruined. THey have to do it in civilian get up, so that is going to be difficult, especially when no one knows their identity.
Jacques sets the security room on fire to destroy the evidence. Randy comes in and makes sure that the fire doesn't spread as he uses his ability of water after he is sure the tapes are destroyed. To this day, no one knows what happened in that room.
Jacques catches Randy watching one of his videos on ShoobTube and closes the window, then leaves. Forgets to logout of school computer and Jacques opens a new tab and looks at the history. He smiles that someone he knows watches his videos and that he plans on showing himself on camera later on.
[Ch. idea] Theresa becomes the Maiden when Morgan makes fun of her obvious feelings to Randy. As Maiden she makes people aware of her, turn their heads toward her and she gets a date with Randy. He doesn't mind, but informs Phoenix that he is doing something that is going to occupy some of his take as a civilian (call each other via weapons and are on friendly terms) that he cannot escape yet will be ready for action soon. Brings Randy to know more about Theresa and finds out that he can find a way to destank someone without fighting if the object of jealousy is you. Unfortunately, Maiden catches sight of Morgan who runs and yells, Maiden chases her. Randy talks her down and catches sight of Phoenix about to spring into action. He shakes his head at his partner and gets Theresa back in human form. The girl is blacked out and Phoenix says good job and that he never realized there was another way. Randy asks for him to look after his friend which the bird replies "no" because she would rather see her crush than a hero. Randy says he got it all wrong, then Phoenix points out the cause. Randy says that he should let her confess on her own, and he will keep his knowledge of Theresa liking him before confessing to himself.
Shows character growth, considerate of others and looks over Theresa with more concern that the others who were stank'd. Jacques notices that Randy pays a lot of attention to previous victims as he plays off the whole becoming monsters thing. Randy sees Theresa more as a sister but does wonder about what exactly his type; takes place before discovering her likes both due to their personalities (demiromantic) and learns he's pansexual by his aunt.
[Ch.] Randy and Jacques finds out about each other's identities by emerging from a cave in Snow Kabob with shadow are snowed in and there were no other students in there due to the fight going on. They already suspect one another as others say no other student was in their besides the two heroes.
[Ch] Franz the New Kid hapens and randy is bitching about the two of them separating due to someone being sick and they had to pair up with Doug before Franz comes in. Howard complains to Randy that he could have told their teacher to buzz off and when Randy comes back to find his hat name has Franz on it.
[Ch] When Howard and Randy go back in time, the whole class gets wrapped up in it. Everyone rushes to get to Howard. Everyone finds out that the Sorcerer is a God, he has a different name, and the Kwamis were gods as well. There is a slight disturbance in time where Nommi comes in and sees his old self. The class only got that their protectors of Norrisville are gods. Nommi and Randy separate from the group and find out that the Sorcerer got corrupted.
Basically people thought that this was a history lesson.
Sorcerer was the God of Jealousy which gave people determination to do things. Typically gives temporary power to those who are jealous. McFist will be doing this later
Theresa kwami is the first ninja, aka Sakai, who has the ability of foresight. Sakai is dormant for a long time and his form is a lion. He isn't active, but is very powerful-able to allow his partner to move before getting hit, final attack is being able to let partner look into the future to find the weakness and attack it before person/robot does any more damage. Teresa was given Sakai by Randy, who thought a lion tail necklace was a good gift for her, since she loves felines. Randy found Sakai form because he was in the family line for generations. Recharge with peanuts. Silver necklace before turning orange with paw prints.
Superhero name is Pride. Orange suit with clawed gloves. Uses a spear?
Another Kwami is one who deals with wards. Defensive type that can calculate what is the best thing and Kwami is the God of Protection. Shape of a dog, recharge with jerky and silver necklace before turning black with paw prints.
[Ch] Group therapy session for those who were stank'd. Randy finds out Damian is using everyone as he records their forms in his notebook when he is the counselor overseeing the therapy when his mentor is doing other things. Randy tries to tell everyone, yet no one believes him. He goes as far as trying to get into his office when he wasn't around, but gets caught by Julian or Jacques. He has to explain that the counselor is keeping tabs on the triggers, Julian says his bro isn't bad. Jacques says almost the same thing, but he's suspicious due to Damian coming out and saying he was a hero. Also he wants to drive a wedge between himself and his partner (J is aware of this). Doubts are sown and neither boy outs Randy who is concerned with what is going on.
[½ chapter] There is a Bucky one-shot that has Randy comforting him and he sees a flier for people to receive counseling.
[ch] Jacques has a party that is going on and his caretakers of transfer students have invited Randy. Randy brings him a present that he asks caretakers to give, it's a soccer ball and a small camera of shots with his friends, along with a small book of sayings in America.
[Ch] Julian, Randy, Howard, Dave, and Clown guy have a guys day out. They go to a mall where they play video games, the food court, and shopping. Everyone is surprised that Clown guy isn't wearing his make-up. They have fun, go to crazy stores. Minor bump where a kid doesn't get what he wants and becomes The Magnet. Hard to Bun out because there are cameras, but Howard manages to cover him.
Randy's aunt comes to town, brings her girlfriend Cheyenne. There are there for the parade of LGBT awareness and asks Randy to help out by dressing in drag. He's a girl all day and says his name is Nadia. He isn't embarrassed by it and takes care of anyone bothering his aunt. Viceroy makes an appearance bc he is a ally. There is no one suspecting he's a girl if he pitches his voice high enough and talks to Isabella and Cynthia, conversation is sort of nice.
Isabella is in the parade, she is a trans asexual charcter. No one is hurt.
[Ch] Randy and Howard go to the museum about the history of home economics. There is a stank'd student and he has to haul ass to get to school when Nommi receives a call. Phoenix questions why Hidden was late.
[Ch] Hidden and Phoenix have to prove themselves that they can handle getting the Book of Training for heroes after 3 months in. Kwamis draw a map to where the book is IN A CRUDE DRAWING MANNER. tHEY GO THROUGH THE TRIAL OF water (van dam), earth (desert), and the trial of life (swamp). And find out the book is located in the old cemetary that the Messenger/Creep places there. The cemetery was once an old battle ground, and the two hallucinate seeing someone watch them (Messenger) with cold dead eyes. Find out Hidden is sensitive to some of the things going on. The next time they are in the cemetery as civilians, Randy notices that he cannot feel like he had felt before. Like the presence has moved on, or it's still there but he can't feel them unless he has Nommi's senses.
[Ch] Bucky writes snippets of the heroes saving him, only the things that he can recall. He tries to prove his admiration toward them by writing a story/speech about them. Phoenix literally cries from the speech, touched by his gratitude and Hidden awkwardly hugs Phoenix because he cannot handle crying people.
Almost everyone who was stank'd writes something for them when Bucky talks about it to some of his friends. They had to destroy the paper because Bash upsets a few people. Bucky has a different akuma form, one that is anger instead of fear/embarrassment.
[Ch] Debbie finds some scandals from the past. Those scandals draw bad attention to the heroes and they politely ask her to stop the slander, as it wasn't them but the previous users. (there was an excuse that the previous wearers were family members, so Debbie is trying to find out who they are via make believe family) She finds out that their story isn't straight at all.
[Ch] Randy is happy that there is an imposter Phoenix running around; he's happy because another hero's identity was stolen (similar to what happened with Bash). Still, imposter looks a lot like knows that something is wrong because the imposter doesn't do much for defeating a robot, only attacking when Hidden is nearby, and is flirting with him blatantly. He is red and punches the Imposter who has the gall to draw a life-like image of himself by making a mask like Hidden's. Imposter uses masks to make people look like others and control them, turning people back into their monster selves.
Hidden says it is weird being the object of blatant affection, and says Phoenix would never do that to him (he is way too focused, lighthearted, and dedicated to not act like he's doing his job).
Jacques, when he catches sight of Hidden, asks how he feels about Phoenix would act if he was talking to his crush. Hidden says the man would be smooth and give his crush some glances, but not do anything in the suit. He says it would jeopardize the foes after them and hassle his crush.
Phoenix finds out that he can deal with akumatized enemies, but cannot neutralize them. Captures them and waits for Hidden because every stank destroyed means less power the Sorcerer has. He will get the ability to neutralize the stank by encompassing them in flames after being possessed by the Tengu.
[Ch] Phoenix has to break Hidden out of spell he is under via akuma. Hidden sees that there is a monster chasing him and Nommi isn't being snarky like usual. The monster growls out words telling him to fight the spell. Hidden does that after realizing that Nommi isn't real in there and he hasn't gone out yet. He embrace the monster which turns into a chicken, and he freaks out. Hidden gets out of the hallucination by smell, Phoenix saying that his beak mask blocks out scent-which is the spell-and the two defeat the akuma.
There is a problem in Home Economics, someone has been stealing ingredients and the class is supposed to make a triple layer cake to eat. It would take 3 class periods, and it is up to Howard and Randy to find out who is stealing the ingredients. The person is using them to make pies which are all around the school. The pies are either good or terrible, and find out that a girl is baking them for her boyfriend, but needs to practice. He breaks up with her when they solve who it is and she is akumatized into Pie Master, a akuma who can make people fall in love or out of a relationship with a single hit.
An akuma attacks and Phoenix knows the reason why the Breader came to be. Cory dissed someone making bread because he is glucose intolerant to a girl who was part of the bread club, a social club that discusses world problems over bread and tea. Hidden saves Howard from becoming a bread zombie after eating tantelizing bread, and the zombies are unified for one goal, to bring order. Howard disses Hidden in front of Phoenix and he sort of "forgets" to put him in a safe space.
Principal Slimovitz has it with all the monster attacks. Has a reward system to each grade level that if any grade can go without transforming into a monster for a week there is going to be a reward for them. Reward is getting let out of school 2 hours before everyone else on Friday. The underground fan club needs to test a hypothesis after meeting their hero. Lets all their members remember to talk to them about their powers and how they got them, before The1w/allthedeets uses blackmail on a few members. ONce the members are saved after becoming an akuma they ask the heroes a question. Some take selfies with the two and one of them grabs Hidden's ears. Person who grabs the ears asks who he got them and he said that they were from a lab accident a few years ago where his dad was a scientist and everyone on his side of the family get animal traits of a bunny. Phoenix is amused by the comment and teases him (Works for the time they are going to Paris but no one gets stanked after the 1st week)
Howard gets into some trouble and drags Theresa into it a locked area that has robots surrounding it. Robots took over the building and Randy is there. The building is a big game hall that has a yoga studio on the top where some people were going to. Occasionally going to yoga studio because his aunt goes there. He was with Howard and was helping Theresa get her mom from the class so they can go to the store to get some groceries after the session. Randy tries to get past the robots and this is the first notice of Theresa's crush on him. He becomes Hidden and calls Phoenix and they defeat the robots. He goes to the yoga studio to check if everyone is alright, Jacques sees Randy talk to the instructor. Howard laughs at his friend because he said he forgot that he does that to. Randy says he will make a appointment because he has a bad back and hears yoga is good for stress.
There is a tournament where you have to hit raw and boiled eggs on your head, then egg catching, balancing on a spoon while on wood, and the best egg dish. The grand prize of a limited edition McFist HD helicopter that shoots hot dogs at people are watching a movie on the helicopter. They are competing against Dave, Cory, Jacques, and Isabella. The greatest battle as Dave and Isabella team up, they have fun and there is no akuma attack or robot. However, they overhear McFist's evil plan that will happen in another week.
After Randy finds out that Jacques is PHoenix he is acting cool. Comes up with excuses for him, saying he wants to hang out with him/do homework with him when they are not being heroes. Randy considers teling Phoenix who he is, and the flirting happens in the suit, Randy is scared that he won't like the real him The two of them still talk like friends and honestly Randy is starting to like it. He goes to talk to his aunt about his sexuality. [Happens when Randy needs to break the news that Sorcerer is a literal God]
[Ch] When Hidden is kidnapped by Damian, he's unaware of his vendetta against Hidden. He manages to escape to Phoenix while Julian helping him out (distracting his bro), but Phoenix doesn't tell Hidden that Damian was the previous Phoenix. Phoenix was trying to talk to Hidden that he finally met the previous Phoenix (PP) out of suit when Hidden was trying to talk to him about the Sorcerer. Things get heated as Phoenix feels a bit betrayed as his partner isn't telling him things, and Damian has been feeding him lies, causing him to be angry. (Phoenix gets stank'd aka becomes an akuma (an agent of chaos) due to this). Takes a while for them to reconcile.
When the kidnapping happens he and Phoenix are in a rough patch. Damian takes advantage of Hidden's vulnerability and acts like he is in trouble. Tries to chloroform Hidden but Nommi takes over (as Damian reaches for the miraculous that is when Nommi is in control) and fights him off. Two of them address how things were in the past. Nommi warns Randy to not be in the same area as Damian if he's alone.
(around Christmas) Next time Damian kidnaps Hidden he makes sure the hero is conscious and takes him into the basement of his parents house. Hidden breaks through the rope as Damian is distracted by Julian and is shaking when he leaves the place. Phoenix finds him in that state and Hidden tells him what happened. The other hero is shocked but doesn't tell Hidden he was receiving tutorage under Damian.
Later on Damian tells Hidden that Phoenix was receiving help from him and the rabbit feels betrayed a bit. Now when Randy is told later on that Nommi knew about Phoenix doing that he's hurt. Naturally he is told that information at home and not at school. He stays away from school so that he can have a mental health sick day, to understand everything.
Male akuma makes everyone in Norrisville play certain roles in fairy tales since someone says he shouldn't be an actor. Randy can't turn into Hidden as the two still have the falling out/the akuma keeps a close eye on everyone. Randy winds up as the role of a random civilian, however, Nommi snaps him out of it. He has to save the Fallen Knight aka Phoenix who is under a spell (only someone who cares deeply aka love will help awaken the knight). Randy has to go through the trials like the knight to get to him. The Fallen Knight is supposed to awaken the princess who is the akuma's crush through breaking the barrier. Randy hides once he breaks the spell which is a kiss. First he tried the cheek then the lips when nothing happened. He hides when Jacques wakes up to find no one there. Jacques then goes to help Cynthia.
The two defeat a robot that can shift into animals. It's not a good image if heroes start beating up a rabid dog. They have to show that it is a robot.
[Ch] In history the teacher is replaced with a famous figure from the 18th century. Of course no one really knows who the figure is, but the akuma has the power to turn people into the equivalent of the past while they remain the ruler. Jacques is the equivalent to nobility, due to coffee tycoon sis, father is a director, and mo mis an actress. Randy is the healer son as father is a pediatrician and mom is a pharmacist. Everyone has the skillsets of what their station can do as the duo need to adapt to the change in scenery.
Robot has venom in the fangs. One small bite or scratch can leave people hallucinating and out of the count. This happens during flu season and Randy's mom makes him take some cold medicine to school like usual. He asks them how long people stop hallucinating as a few people got the fangs. They goes to McFist to get the antidote.
All the gods at least tolerate one another before the Sorcerer got corrupted. Also learn the Creep/Messenger was once a follower of the the class manage to get back to the present, Randy starts searching up the kwamis and SSorcerer's real names as gods. Nommi says not to, says a thing due to how names are powerful and can bind you to someone
Randy chooses not to tell his partner due to how traumatizing the information can be. It literally blows his mind and he spazzes about what he has learned. Due to Randy's nature of not being able to keep having own secrets without close calls but keeps others, he does let it slip for his partner to as his kwami about the year 1213
Blacksmith is in here, he is in charge of making the dormant weapons awaken, along with extra training for the young heroes. The Creep soul can jump into a new body when his old one is about to die to protect everyone.
Nommi is really the remaining piece of other gods; the older sibling of Noriso 9 who spilt due to trying to keep part of himself through the efforts of others. (can make an image of himself, another is life, memories of others due to memory god bestowing it onto him, and Nommi power of hidden talent is from the youngest. Sakai is the last true Norosu 9 left that isn't a mash-up of others). Occasionally he would get the memories of others confused or mixed up, especially after sleeping for so long. One of the reasons why Randy has his red hair when he transforms is from the influence of Nommi. Also, Nommi is mostly black because of the corruption from his match up of 8 out of the 9 gods, red is the true color of his being, the one he was based off of. He and Tennu have to be together they are in tangent with one another as the other can make sure they do not fall to the dark side, especially Tennu due to being a god close to what Sorcerer was, and Nommi needs someone who knows him to keep himself sane.
MacAnfee is still the instructor of a school that teaches you to be the best hero (best Phoenix/Hidden) and because of him the duo didn't make it for those 4 years. Damian did not like not being a superhero and stayed around close to town to help out, but can't let go of his grudge. He was Phoenix for 2 months before MacAnfee tried to rule the school and managed to steal Damian's miraculous.
Tennu warns Jacques to not talk about what he and Hidden do to Damian. He sort of listens to it, especially when Tennu blows up saying there is usually a reason why they discontinued the last warriors. Damian was too focused on his studios and when he helped, he would not work with Hidden, along with making fun of him due to the suit. Hidden grew bitter from what is happening and started abusing his mediating abilities for evil aka bad friends amusement.
McFist and Sorcerer but heads on who they want to destroy. Personally it is Phoenix, but for Sorcerer, it is Hidden. Viceroy does a stat of the art machine that flips who to focus on destroying every day. Well the first day after spirit week, McFist goes after Hidden (ch after monster klub) Phoenix gets a little crazy with destroying things. Hidden was concerned for the people and Phoenix only cares about him. Tennu talks to Nommi saying that his holder needs to bare with the obsession otherwise Phoenix will be more destructive. Everyone works to find out what kinds of things to calm the bird down.
Today is a big day, school photos. Everyone dresses their best and Randy doesn't want that, he manages to avoid it during school prep day when his parents couldn't go. Howard tries to get him into it and even manages to wrap Theresa into it. She turns into the twirling monster who has a razor sharp long shirt and batons. Her weakness is an adorable Randy who was about to transform out of his outfit. She doesn't attack him like all the others, which he takes for a positive sign. Phoenix notices that it means that Theresa likes him, and it is reinforced when she turns into the Maiden.
[Before the MacAnfee ch] Randy and Howard want to go to the ultimate ride on the winter theme park. Unfortunately there are a lot of couples and groups going on there are a lot of couples and groups going on there. The two need to dodge the crowds to get the ride and on the way there they meet Aunt Isabella/Ezra with her girlfriend. Everyone talks to one another and the two learn that the ultimate ride has a height restriction. The two friends groan, and Howard asks Randy to stop for a moment, he has to put on a dress. MacAnfee makes a cameo as his poster of his superhero school is around.
How Jacques and Randy make up is when Jacques catches him placing the note in his locker. Randy thought he had already left, but now he has to talk to Jacq, who he makes Randy next to him until they go to the park (Jacques holds his arm and scene mirrors what Phoenix did to Hidden when he was concerned over him). Jacques finds Randy due to Damian/Damian tipping him off, saying that he could help another student if he just listened. The two talk it out, mainly Randy as he says he tried to get his attention, but Jacques ignores him, listing out previous events. They become secret friens for a while.
Emily Jones is Emilia Cunningham's sister. The one who is a designer and has a girlfriend.
There is an akuma who can make doors appear and disappear. This comes from their hatred from doors and wanting everyone to experience the same hatred. It gets annoying running into doors and it hurts a lot if they are oak.
Randy reveals that he had a younger sister once before she died. When he learns about Nommi, he says he still has a brother, despite him being asleep for some time.
History of miraculous. As stated earlier, Sorcerer got jealous (lol) and started to slowly take over other gods territories, and the others waited too long to act. Each god has a champion and they are sent them in. Unfortunately, some champions died and the gods felt pity, they gave them some power to come back and then went to fight the Sorcerer with them. It took so much power that they were weakened to smaller forms aka kwams. The God of Foresight entrusted the Creep to keep most of the kwamis-gods-safe and gave him some power to find the truth of the hearts of others. The Creep was once one of the Sorcerer's followers before defecting because he knows balance is at stake, and has prolong life to find new wielders. He is the main reason why the Sorcerer cannot remember well.
The closer the kwamis are with their partners, the more power they have. Like Jacques will be able to have a lot more firepower range, like putting up a wall of fire, or Randy being able to raise the dead (aka being a good gardener or ninja air fist which means he's good at running and blowing a lot of air). Also, the more the Sorcerer gives power to others in his current state, there is a slight power difference, which means the stank gets weaker.
It has been 4 years since the last time the kwamis had some action. No one was of age and have the traits desired by the kwamis and the Creep/Dan had to agree. Still, Randy idolizes 8 years ago heroes both of the heroes even though people haven't seen them for so long. Not many people remember them and Debbie has been trying to find info that concerns the two heroes.
Jacques birthday comes up before Christmas and before they make up. Have to get Randy to give him his presents when he drops it on the door to Mrs. Johnson's house initialed VM. Will be a soccer ball, American lingo book, and a cd.
Jacques hears from Damian during the break Randy gave Julian his secret santa gift because he saw him put it on the doorstep.
Bash upsets a few basketball players, his teammates because they didn't give him the ball. He pushes them around and they become a trio of baskets, monsters who can turn balls into their minions and attack people with teeth and doodle arms. They say "Bash you want to score so much, you can have these balls," and the superheroes are in a bind. They sort of want Bash to have it while one of them has the unfortunate duty of protecting Bash. They do rock paper scissors to see who protects him. (Also Hidden isn't acting completely like a hero, super reluctant and Phoenix has to talk him into doing his damn job)
This is referencing how he did not like how Bash basically said he was HB a few chapters ago. He's still salty about it.
[Ch] Randy goes to the councilor's office to talk about his feelings because he blows up in English class-Mr. Bannister sends his most promising student there) and tells Mrs. Green about being stressed from school and having a secret friendship since one of his friends doesn't like the guy he's talking too. She suggests that he try relaxing by smelling incense and mediating. Thus Randy goes to a store that sells it, not knowing that the store is also a cafe owned by Julian and Damian's parents. People were making comments about him being tired in the past. Jacques realizes his secret friend has been stressed when he isn't having a smile on his face (Hidden not VM), but it is Theresa then Darcy who noticed Randy isn't doing too good.
Randy is tired of dealing with people and their problems and wants to have a day dedicated to himself. He meets up with McFist in this relaxation places and even though he puts him on edge. Viceroy comes along and they are all on a relaxation retreat from reality that Mrs. Green somehow gave to him. Howard is freaking out about where Randy is, but cellphones are silent in the retreat. Nommi comes out to try relaxing as well, and the only bad thing is that the owners of the place hypnotize people (it's a long term thing they are working on. Gets rid of stress but it comes back after a certain period of time). Nommi figures out that early but wishes to see if Randy can snap out if it, if he can't he can do it himself.
Jacques makes sudden appearance, and the two talk things out. They come to an agreement that their friendship won't be a secret anymore and they will get Howard to apologize to him. Also, Randy comes out and says that he is VM.
Why Damian hates Hidden:
MacAnfee was not doing his damn job. Not utilizing his gift of mediating conflict. He was insulted a lot and kind of wanted to be Phoenix since he got respect.
Damian was looking down on civilians he was helping and was not helping his partner the slightest bit. Toxicity of their relationship was the last straw as McAnfee decided to steal Phoenix's miraculous. Just before McAnfee put it on Nommi rejected him aka stopped him from being a hero and Dan had to cut a deal with Sorcerer.
Due to the kwamis Nommi and Tennu work in sync and hae bonds with their holder, if ever shaken they will cut the superheroing short.
Due to letting Tengu out, a bond develops between the two heroes. For a limited time they can use each other's powers. Also, Jacques can control the wire on his weapon. Not to mention Jacq is emotionally volatile.
When Jacques finds out Hidden's identity is blown by one person he hears that the person (Howard) holds it against him.
Howard accidentally screwed Randy over when he had to take over with Nommi for a time. Has to play the part of being a hero. Says he makes Hidden do crap for him that he doesn't want to do, but doesn't want the school to be completely destroyed.
Jacques goes to the McHuggers tournament, reference in Ch. 20 that he was in a limo with a sports star.
Randy once had a sister that died at 3 when Randy was 6. He's sad whenever anyone mentions the name Darcy because he still feels partially responsible for her death. He get's on Sakai's case because he doesn't talk to his younger brother who is a mash up of all of his other brothers (Nommi) and Randy has a motto of "live everyday to the fullest" because you never know what will happen on the next day.
Nommi doesn't allow Randy to shoulder pain of his when he is weak, even if he is begging to help him (during the sick special) He eventually gives in.
[Ch] Christmas special episode. Randy makes Julian dolls. One has a detachable head and the other he can accessorize by changing the hair, eyes, and clothes. The detachable head is with velcro and there is a gift of rope with that. Customizable doll is to be put into an iron maiden because he has a spending limit of $30. Secret santa is announced in November and Randy leaves his presents on Julian's doorstep on Christmas Eve. Damian sees Randy leave the gift and comments about the sweet gift Randy gave his brother to Jacques when they get back.
Old Hidden Bun is a bit mad and becomes the enemy of the duo. Randy fears that he and Damian/OP will team up together to bring them down. OP with psychological warfare and OHB with his various connections with restaurants
[Whoopie World takes place after 13th century God/Ninja. Howard did not get the memo of the Kwamis are gods + 1 demon]. Howard and Randy skip school to go to Whoopie world. They planned it for a long time, going to show it off to the freshman class to get some respect. Of course Doug ruins it and Howard gives the teen a verbal lashing. He becomes a akuma of pointing out the misdeeds of others with his glasses as the thing that needs to be destroyed, they can see he misdeeds happening/track them and can record people doing it. Things he can see is he destruction of property, jaywalking etc. and when the dynamic duo catches Doug doing something he shouldn't do.
How did Doug catch the two of them? He hears the teachers talk about the two being missing and connects the dots for them going to Whoopie World. He contacts the police anonymously, that 2 students were found skipping.
Randy gets grounded, and he can't hang with Howard after school for two weeks (Parents guilt trip him because they think they aren't raising their son right_. Nommi's punishment is worse though. Why? Well he was sleeping for the most part and when the two teens get past the school parking lot, Howard chloroforms the kwami. When Nommi wakes up he phazes out of the bag he was in and temporary controls Randy to talk to Howard and mindwipes him as part of his petty revenge.
Randy is complaining that he can't have fun, wanting to be one of the first few people to get on the limited edition rides that are half off. He complains how he can have fun and be responsible at the same time. He had to put being popular on the back burner to be a hero, which he doesn't mind too much, but he wants to hang with Howard a lot.
Nommi tells Randy a story of having fun responsibly. Also how it is best to be in good graces with law enforcement/people in charge aka his parents so he can have freedom to do things.
[ch] During Spring Break people in English class can go to France if they signed up. Randy's parents already set him up with a ticket and told him on Christmas that he's going on a vacation during Spring Break. The trip is in Paris to go sightseeing and Randy is concerned about leaving the school unprotected, which Nommi says that Phoenix would have it covered and no one will be in school during that time.
There is talk why there are more than 7 miraculouses and Randy meets Master Fu who tells him that the miraculous was created because discord was happening to the old gods. Some of them made miraculous to help guide the humans while they were dealing with a rampaging god who lost his mind. They had spirits protect them and help assist people who would be representatives of actual gods.
Old gods reverted to kwamis/spirits to save power and have certain items blessed with their power (so they can sleep and recharge) and it doesn't work exactly like the other miraculouses where the spirits would go to sleep if the box housing them is shut/wearer takes off jewelry. The old gods are aware of what is going on, and due to major wounds from the past they are forced into a small the Messenger can communicate with the old gods and know their locations. This marks the end of the 1st arc
2nd arc is how they have to destroy the Sorcerer (Phoenix needs to do it) or try to save him (Randy hesitant with it due to the history Sorcerer has with making Nommi the being that he is. The God asks Randy what he would do if he found the person who ran his sister over and didn't stop him (aka cleansing the horrible chaos) he would kill him). Master Fu doesn't try to dissuade the bunny warrior, due to knowing he cannot interfere with those outside of his domain (as Randy is a warrior of Nommi and Jacques is the follower of Tennu). However, Fu does give Randy some items that can sooth Nommi's pain whenever he goes to sleep because certain incense can heal the god.
Jacques is hanging around his family and going to functions. He is not reprimanded for this, and everyone in Norrisville finds out that the teen is kind of a big deal. Cynthia thinks that he is perfect since he is handsome, a nice personality, and has money. His dad is a movie director, mom an actor, and sister is a hair stylist (or was it head of a coffee industry). Jacques wants to be a director and producer.
The Sorcerer really wants the 2 miraculous because they can help him escape. With Tennu, he can burn down the whole city-along with influencing his jailer Tengu-and with Nommi he can control a locksmith to find the God of Smithing.
With Gods, the chaos power he has can corrupt them. With demons, it doesn't really affect them. Tennu/Tengu are a special case since they are 2 beings who became one. They can merge and as long as Tengu doesn't allow the chaos to go to his better half he'll be okay.
Phoenix off/plot pt 2
Jacques is unaware of the changes in the dynamic with Hidden not showing up on time; OP/Damian uses that to his advantage, saying that he is going to screw up the heart just like the other cotton headed idiot (what he means is that Hidden is the heart of the operations and MacAnfee wasn't one). Just like Hidden is unaware of the more aggressive tendency that Phoenix has when he is hurt. Although, he thinks that he is just looking after him. Tennu has occasional comments that are way too light hearted or dark that Jacques agrees to.
Both are free spirited and stubborn, they are passionate, throwing everything they have. A good match up with the two. Jacques does know how to get what he wants in a subtle way, like convincing Tennu to tell him certain info that the previous superhero (Damian) should not know. Tennu says that Hidden's kwami is a bit of a handful, saying he's bossy, a workaholic, and he catches a glimpse of it when he sees what Hidden can do. He is more flexible and able to parkor better than him only when he admits to his partner that he had to train out of the suit and how many bruises he got.
He takes on the persona of being playful and gets too focused on one task where he occasionally forgets to dodge an attack that is behind him or save some people. Hidden usually doubles back for that or attacks the monster if it is too focused on his partner. The things that Phoenix likes them ost is that his partner keeps on trying to prove himself to everyone, his willingness to fight, to stop what he is doing and save people, along with him taking pride in his work. Also, he finds it amusing when Hidden is flipping through emotions.
Jacques has 5 close friends: Jennifer "Jen" and Cory are twins. Isabella is a pixie haired redhead with a bow, constantly happy also trans. Cynthia is the other brunette who is obvious in liking Jacques, but she can be mean. Darcy, a shy blonde around new people, but is really talkative. She shares the same name as Randy's dead sister.

What Nommi is made up of/info about him:
He is made up of the second youngest brother who can reveal or amplify hidden talents. His special attack, Hidden Luck, is dependent on holder's hidden talent. Randy can run, but with Hidden Luck he is able to run so fast to manipulate the air around him, making it an attack. It's versatile, can use it for his sword, running fast to get behind enemy, and allow a wind/sword slash to happen.
The stronger bond between Randy and Nommi, the more things he can unlock. Such as hearing Nommi through the suit, no matter who is wearing it. It is through the Consciousness/mental god is able to do it. Along with being able to take his memory, although that was on accident because he caught Nommi at a bad time. He wasn't given enough time to rest as Nommi needs more rest than the average kwami due to trying to balance everything. In fact he accidentally duplicated self which got Randy to worry about him, and he couldn't control the memory god anymore.
During the episode of going to the past, Nommi appears human. He has red hair and has black tattoos all over himself. He has his sword that looks a bit different, and he is covered by a sandy colored robe, hood usually up, and he is seen to be chuckling or making sarcastic comments with Tennu. He is mostly silent with Sakai, trying to be respectful due to being the Frankenstein monster of his brothers.
