Chapter 28
"So where in the Wild Area is Grenomy Town?" Gloria asks as they arrive at Hammerlocke.
"It is located at the Watchover Ruins, which means that we can take the Flying Taxi over to East Lake Axewell and then walk over there." Lillie says.
"Or maybe we can go there while capturing some new Pokemon." Marnie suggests as they agree.
Once they get to the Wild Area, Ash and Serena decide to do some Mock Trade, this time with Swirlix and Spritzee evolving into Slurpuff and Aromatisse. And then Alice also manages to evolve her Dewpider into Araquanid with the battle.
Ash and Dawn are walking around as Ash asks, "Dawn, may I ask you a question?"
"What is it?" Dawn asks. Ash looks around and finds that the girls aren't listening to them, so Ash says, "I want to ask you a question. What is your reason to travel with me in the Galar Region?"
"Huh?" Dawn is confused. "I am not sure...but I feel like I want to travel with you since you are also here in this region..."
Ash sighs and he can tell that Dawn is getting nervous. "How long?"
"Long what?" Dawn asks.
"How long did you have your feelings for me?" Ash asks sternly, causing Dawn to blush a little. "No need to worry about that...it is nothing..." But then Ash widens his eyes as he sees that a giant rock is charging towards Dawn.
"Dawn! Watch out! Farfetch'd! Break that rock!" Ash sends out the Pokemon and then it uses the Leek to destroy the rock. And then they see that the one who did it is a Raboot, who has been kicking around the field.
"A Raboot...that is rare." Dawn says.
"I know." Ash turns to Pikachu and gives him a Pokeball. "Let Farfetch'd do the battle and when it is weakened, capture it." Pikachu nods as he rushes towards the Pokemon with Farfetch'd.
Ash turns back to Dawn and says, "I needed to worry, what if you are hurt? You have to be more careful."
"Okay. I will...But why are you asking me that question?" Dawn asks with a little annoyance.
Ash says, "You see, I want to tell you that Serena, Lillie, Gloria and Alice have already confessed their love to me." This causes her to flinch and she is panicking. "You're kidding me, right?"
"No, I am serious." Ash says, then Dawn is about to form tears, Ash hugs her in comfort and he says, "But they agree to share with me, so I am sure that they will like to share more. But the only problem is you, I don't know if you want to join in my harem or not?"
Dawn gasps as she stops forming tears, Dawn feels really nervous and she says, "I admit...I did have a crush on you back when we are in Sinnoh, it was thanks to you that I manage to get a lot of inspirations for the contests. I..."
Dawn smiles and says, "You're right. I really like you. No worry, if they are fine, then I can share as well."
Ash smiles and gives her a kiss, then he says, "Thank you." He takes out the Green Gem and says, "This one is for you. This Ketchum Gem signs that you have become one of my harem, thus you can have the Aura abilities like us."
Dawn takes the gem and holds it in her heart. "Thank you, I will gladly cherish it."
Just then, Pikachu comes back with a Pokeball and Ash says, "Thanks, buddy, but where is Farfetch'd?" Then A Sirfetch'd appears in front of them waving the leek sword.
"Oh, so you evolved." Ash says as he scans the Pokemon.
Sirfetch'd: The Wild Duck Pokemon: Fighting Type. Evolved from Farfetch'd in a battle with three critical hits. Only Farfetch'd that have survived many battles can attain this evolution. When this Pokémon's leek withers, it will retire from combat.
"This is really interesting." Ash says. Then they all go find the others, as Ash shows Raboot to them.
"Where did you get a Raboot?" Gloria asks as her Raboot is having a conversation to it.
"Well, it tried to hurt Dawn by kicking a giant rock, but my assumption is that it was abandoned."
"That is so cruel..." Marnie says.
"It sure is cruel." Alice says. "But it will recover with Ash's help, right?"
"Yeah." Ash says with a smile.
And then they get to the Giant's Mirror, they finally find the Galarian Corsola. Alice says, "It really looks sad..."
"Well, from what Allister told me, Corsola is really like this..." Ash says, "Why don't you capture this, Alice?"
Alice nods as she takes out the Pokeball and captures the Pokemon. She also scans the Pokemon as well.
Corsola Galarian Form: The Coral Pokemon: Ghost Type. Watch your step when wandering areas oceans once covered. What looks like a stone could be this Pokémon, and it will curse you if you kick it.
"I can tell that it is cursed." Alice sighs. "Now how should I train this Pokemon..."
"I am sure that you can find out, after all, we are both similar in a way." Ash smiles as Alice blushes.
When they finally reach the Watchover Ruins, the fog effect there makes them hard to see anything. "It sure is foggy..."
"And I really don't like it, especially that this place is full of Psychic and Ghost Pokemon." Serena says.
Just then, they are lost in the fog. Ash says, "This is almost the same as the Slumbering Wealds..."
"So what should we do?" Alice asks.
Just then, the group of seven sees a shadow of a person. "Do you need some help?"
As the person gets closer, they see that she is wearing a Psychic Type uniform with and she has a blonde hair like Lillie and a high magician hat. "Um...who are you?"
The woman says, "Don't worry, I am also a Gym Challenger, my name is Avery." She says, "You're the Prince of Galar, Ash Ketchum, right?"
"Yes. So Avery, um...do you know where to go to Grenomy Town?" Ash asks.
"Sure, I got my Gym Badge from my boyfriend Benjamin, so I know the way, follow me." As they follow her out of the fog, they see a city full of Neon Lights and some paths full of stars.
"Wow...this is amazing..." Lillie says.
"I am glad you like it, you see, this place is surrounded by fog made by Psychic Pokemon so that Ghost Pokemon can't attack the town. And this place is also known for the astronomic fields, thanks to Benjamin." Avery says.
"So does that mean the Gym Battlefield is actually in Space? But why is there a stadium over there?" Gloria asks.
"That is because the spectators can watch through the projection. Benjamin has set up drones in the sky with projectors and they will be shinning to the ground."
"I see, that sounds amazing." Ash says. Then Avery takes them to a house, and after she knocks the door, a man with the Psychic Type uniform comes and says, "Oh, Avery, welcome back, and you are..."
Ash and his friends introduce themselves as Benjamin says, "Of course, you are the Prince, how can I forget about you. And Gloria, the challenger endorsed by Leon. And you must be Marnie, right? You're Piers' sister, right?"
Marnie flinches as she nods, Dawn asks, "Piers is the gym leader of Spikemuth, right?"
Ash says, "So Marnie is related to the Gym Leader?"
Marnie turns to them and she says, "It is a long story that I am not ready to tell, when I am ready, I'll tell you everything."
The group nods as Benjamin takes them to the stadium so that they can have a Gym Battle.
Sorry for the late update, since I managed to buy a Shield Version 3 days ago and I am playing it. In that way I will know how to fight the Gym Leaders as well as catch the Pokemon. And Avery is the female version of the same one that appears in the Isle of Armor, I let her become Benjamin's girlfriend and she would be his successor of Gym Leader.
