Previously:

Reinhart smiled gently and turned in her arms so that he could hug her. Instantly she buried her face into his chest, "You are definitely my wife." He could feel her smiling in reply to that. Playing with her hair he added, "I've corrupted your gentle heart."

"Please, I've always been this bad. It has nothing to do with being married to you." She looked up her eyes shining with happiness, "However that is what made you and I perfect for each other. We could be with no one else."

Resting his head on hers he let out a soft breath, "I can't agree more."

Now:

Reinhart and Kristina entered the guildhall, immediately getting greeted. "Oh good, he didn't try and go."

The two looked at their guild master curiously as the pink eyed female asked, "What do you mean?" She leaned against her husband's arm and griped his bicep with one of her hands.

Makarov opened one of his eyes as he replied to her question, "Natsu went off to the trial."

Reinhart's eyebrow rose as he asked, "How did he manage that? Tina said that he got caught."

"We though he had been caught however…" The master looked at Macao who was looking around sheepishly causing Reinhart to snicker. "…someone assisted him in his escape."

Kristina sighed as she placed her hands on her hips, "Macao, this is only going to make the trial she is going through worse. Did you not think this through?"

"Look, I owed the kid for helping my butt out when I was taken over by the vulcan." The man replied, "I still owe Reinhart for what he's done."

The yellowed eyed man shook his head, "Not only will I not cash in on what you 'owe' me. Do not bring me into this. I did exactly as my wife asked of me, and I know she will do the same if she was in a similar situation."

Macao leaned on his hand while Wakaba snickered out, "Whipped."

"Nope, it's called respect." Reinhart corrected pointing at the man, "You yourself can learn that."

"Hey now, no need to get frosty with me."

The s class mage rolled his eyes and went over to sit at the bar, "Tina, can I have something to drink?"

Kristina nodded her head and went to the back of the bar, "Anything in particular my love?"

"You can surprise me." Reinhart replied as he laid on his arms while he waited patiently.

Lucy looked at the s class mage in surprise, she had half expected that he too had gone to try and help Erza. The fact that he still hadn't gone took her off guard, "Reinhart?" Yellow eyes darted over in her direction as the drink he had ordered was placed in front of him, "What would you have done if you had gone?"

"Told them what happened."

"More like yell at them." Kristina corrected as she hugged his arm when he turned and pouted at her, "You know it is true."

"That does not mean you can call me out for it. Why am I married to you if you have a goal of making me look like the bad guy?" Kristina didn't even reply as she simply stared at him all the more amused. He rolled his eyes as he kissed her forehead, "You can be mean when you want to be."

"I'm not mean; I just tell it how it is. You know that." The pink eyed woman replied as she kissed his cheek and went back behind the bar to help Mira with the other orders that were coming in.

Reinhart gave a small sigh and drank some of the lemonade that his wife had placed in front of him. Next to him he could feel Lucy staring at him, "What?"

The blond tensed and looked away, "Nothing."

"I'm not sure how he even got Kristina if he acts like that with other people." Yellow eyes turned and glared at Wakaba. The man continued to grin at him all the more amused, "What? You know very well Kristina is way too sweet for you." The man went to take a drink from his beverage; however he tripped over thin air and barely caught himself.

Kristina held her hand over her mouth while Reinhart burst out laughing at what he had just witnessed, "Oh no, Wakaba are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm all good. No worries." The man smiled at her, "Though like I said way too sweet to be married to a man like Reinhart." Once again the man nearly fell over causing an already laughing Reinhart to become a hysterically laughing one. "Good lord, what is going on with me?"

Mira joined Reinhart in laughter while the other barmaid continued to look at the other man concerned, "Wakaba, perhaps you should sit down. I don't want you falling and hurting yourself."

"Yeah, you are probably right about that." Wakaba sat down though he nearly fell when he did, "Seriously, what is going on."

Makarov started chuckling at the situation at hand, "Sounds like karma is coming your way, Wakaba."

Reinhart snickered as he heard Gray add, "A lot of karma if he can't manage to walk properly."

"Hey, careful who you are talking to kid." Wakaba argued turning to glare at the teenager still snickering at him from the table he was at.

"Sorry, but you don't scare me." Gray replied grunting when a shirt was thrown at me, "Who the hell is throwing things at me?" Pulling the shirt off he looked at it then down at his body, "What the hell! Why does no one warn me when I start doing this?"

Kristina giggled as she looked at her guild mate, "Sorry Gray, you undress so fast sometimes that we can't catch it." She went to the back to go get a few more beverages.

The teen gave her an unamused expression as he pulled his shirt back on. Yellow eyes glanced over at the ice mage as he got his snickers under control, "She's right kiddo and you know it."

Blue eyes landed on the man who had just spoken, "I think Wakaba is wrong, the moment she married you she gained a streak of having moments when she does mischievous things. We just don't see it at the moment in time."

"That is where you are wrong." The fear mage replied pointing at the teen who now had a raised eyebrow, "My wife has always been mischievous you are all still blind to when it happens. You think you figured out when she started doing these things when she's been doing it the entire time." Most of the guild looked at him like he had lost his mind making him grin widely. "Alright you all keep fooling yourselves. Once you realize how foolish you all have been then you will realize that I was right the entire time."

When he turned around he found his wife smiling at him with a loaded try on her hand. "Are you saying I am not sweet?"

Reinhart gave an amused smile, "Just because I call you mischievous doesn't mean you are not sweet. In fact you are the kindest person in my eyes. No one can take that title away from you so long as you are married to me." He took another sip from his lemonade.

Walking around the bar she leaned over and gave him a kiss causing some to look away rolling their eyes and other to aww at how cute they were, "I think everyone underestimates how sweet you can be." She walked off leaving her husband to grin like he had won an award.

ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

Reinhart and Kristina walked into their home and were greeted by their pets going up to them wanting attention. Smiling they picked up their respective pets and walked up to sit on the couch in the living room. Viper bumped his head against Reinhart's chin making the man laugh as he rubbed his hand along the animals face, "I swear you do not act like a normal snake."

Giggling the female scratched a finger at Midnight's ear, "To be fair he did have you raising him." The snake looked at her making her laugh once more, "Isn't that right Viper?" The black snake leaned his head over and bumped his head against her shoulder. Rubbing her head against the scaled animal's own she said, "You are such a sweet boy, just like your daddy is."

The fear mage grinned relaxing happily against the back of couch, "We should plan a date night for next week."

"So long as you don't get pulled out to do something important I would like that." Kristina replied running her hand down the cat's back. Midnight started purring happily as he stretched out on his mother. "Did you want to do anything specific?"

"Nothing jumps to mind." Reinhart replied looking up at the ceiling. His mind going over what was going on in Natsu's head as it was clear that he and Erza were likely being held for a night or two. Shaking his head he went back to the matter at hand, "What about a dinner and going to see a show that is coming to town." Yellow looked lovingly into pink, "That could be fun."

"That does sound like fun. I look forward to being able to do that when we can." Kristina replied happily as she leaned on her husband's shoulder. Feeling him kiss her head she spoke, "Do you think Erza and Natsu will be okay?"

"I do, even if Natsu will get antsy in the process. I'm sure that Erza will make sure that he doesn't do anything too drastic" Reinhart replied messing with Viper who decided to get a bit playful. "In the long run I just worry about what it is that Erza is being charged with."

"I agree."

"I just don't get it. I mean I get that we as a guild have broken a lot of things but why only act now? We had guild masters there to see what we were dealing with. I'd rather them do this after we do it on a normal job request. At least then it makes sense." Reinhart said rolling his eyes annoyed, "And if they are going to punish anyone why punish one that doesn't do a lot of damage on her jobs. I would have half expected Natsu or Gray being pulled in, not Erza."

"As much as I don't want them to be in that kind of trouble I can see where you are coming from. Even you cause slightly more damage than Erza."

"Not nearly as much as Natsu or Grey." Reinhart replied clicking his tongue, "However, I have never ever gotten a report written about me. For some reason the people I help never say anything though I'm sure the council sees almost everything."

"You do get lucky that is for sure." Kristina replied rubbing his arm, "I also feel like you get a lot of praise from the people you help as well. I heard recently that you got praise from the town that had the wolf issue."

Reinhart has a small smile as a blush dusted his cheeks, "I just did what needed to be done. Including telling them about the possible damage if I can warn them."

"Then you keep doing what you need to do. It is helping you so much." Kristina said leaning up to kiss her husband's cheek. "I should probably go on a job soon to keep up the practice with my magic."

"Are you thinking about an s class mission or just a normal one?"

"Normal one, I don't think I have the magic that helps with the current s class missions."

Yellow eyes rolled amused at her, "I'm sure it will help more than you think."

"No, none of them actually need my magic to help." The female mage looked up at her husband with a small grin, "I have to be careful with my magic unlike you."

"I think you are not giving yourself enough credit. You are amazing when you do a job."

"Until I knock down a building or two because I am not careful with my magic's use." Kristina replied with a small sigh, "I dislike causing that kind of damage. Even when I try to help the building process I feel like I am not doing enough to help."

"The fact that you will stay there to help says all that they need to know. Don't bring yourself down for being human. We all make mistakes."

"I know, I just don't like that I learned a more destructive magic at times. I'm afraid I will end up like Gildart's. I don't want to get that kind of powerful."

"Seeing as you don't have crash magic I doubt that you will end up getting that kind of treatment." Reinhart said with a shake of his head.

"My magic is not far from that kind of damage and you know it. All it takes is for me to not pay attention."

The fear mage looked at his wife in the eye, "Trust me, you are no where close to Gildart's. He can still beat you without even trying." He kissed her forehead and hugged her, "If you ever wish to reach that status you will really have to try and since I know that you don't want it, it won't ever happen."

"You think so?"

"I know so. This is where your sweet side over powers you. You'd never let yourself get to that kind of power. You're already a force to reckon with at your current level."

Kristina gave a smile, "Thank you, I needed to hear that."

"Any time." Reinhart replied shifting over to lie on the couch with his wife, the animals adjusting themselves to be comfortable as well.

ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

Walking into the guild the next day Reinhart was greeted with Natsu yelling about his freedom making his chuckle. Making his way over to the bar he heard Mira talking, "Isn't he precious when he gets all excited?" Kristina nodded as she walked by expertly avoiding the dragon slayer that was running around.

Yellow eyes glanced over at Lucy as she spoke from her position laying on the table she was at, "I can't believe that stupid arrest and trial was just for show. All that worrying for nothing."

"This wasn't a sacrificial lamb but a scapegoat." Grey said causing Elfman to respond:

"You must be one heck of an ice wizard cause even your jokes leave me cold."

Reinhart rolled his eyes as he leaned back against the bar, "Either way they clearly wanted to make a point that I doubt any of us will actually listen to. For the most part most of you all are destructive."

Cana looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "As if you have any room to speak."

"I cause as little damage as possible. The less I have to pay back the better everyone's life is." He watched Kristina walk up to the job board and calmly look at her options. Looking back over at Cana he smiled, "And I am aware of the damages I cause. I was just saying we as a guild have the most destructive guild mates." Pushing up to his feet he walked up to the board as he heard Elfman reminding Natsu about his fight with Erza.

Deciding to ignore the predicable response to it he stood next to his wife looking at the jobs, "Any of them standing out to you?"

The pink eyed woman took off one of them reading it over, "I'm thinking this one. It will have me using as little as of my magic so I shouldn't cause too much damage."

Grinning Reinhart did a quick sweep of the jobs and pulled off one showing the one he picked. With a wink he spoke, "We could meet up in the town in the middle and go to the festival going on there."

Kristina gave a small laugh, "I guess we are changing up the time we are having that date."

Reinhart quickly caught his wife as she swayed. Touching his head he carefully lowered her to the ground and kept himself to his knees as he watched a guild member, that didn't show up all too much, walk in. Blinking he watched the other walked up to the board and pull off a random job. The man looked down at him with his blue eyes before making his way over to the master showing what he picked. Reinhart tried to listen to what was being said but they were both talking too low for him to really hear. Placing his hands to the floor below he continued to fight off the wave of sleepiness trying to put him to sleep. He could feel himself just about to lose to the blackness when it was finally lifted.

Breathing heavily he reached for his wife to help her to her feet, "Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'll be okay. I just wish Mystogan would stop doing that."

Reinhart chuckled as he looked over at the rest of his guild mates as Elfman said, "For one he's a contender for Fairy Tail's strongest wizard."

"Really?" Lucy asked surprised.

"Yeah." Grey replied, "And for some reason he doesn't want anyone to see what he looks like. So whenever he comes here to take a job he casts a sleeping spell."

Lucy seemed bothered by that as she said, "That's kind of creepy."

Grey looked over at the master, "Master Makarov is the only person that has ever gotten a good look at his face."

"That's not true…" Reinhart froze before he turned and glared at the balcony, "…I've seen him before."

Giving a growl he stayed in his place when Kristina grabbed his arm, "Laxus."

"And here's another contender." Grey said with a bored tone.

"Mystogan is just a little shy; you should all respect his privacy." The blond male said glancing over at Reinhart with a wide smile.

Yellow eyes continued to glare as he met the blond's gaze, his hand fisting at his side and his body tense. Before he could do anything Natsu shot up to his feet, "Alright Laxus, you and me right now!"

"Getting your butt kicked once today wasn't enough?" Grey asked as he made a face.

"Yeah pal, if you can't even win against the redhead or mystery man why bother with me?" Laxus replied continuing to grin but this time at the dragon slayer.

Erza stood up speaking angrily, "What are you trying to say?"

"No need to get all worked up Erza." Grey said in a panic as Kristina held back her husband from trying to lunge at the man on the balcony.

"I'm saying I'm the guilds strongest wizard."

"Then come down here and prove it." Natsu challenged, looking more than ready to take the other on.

Laxus just laughed as he said, "Come to me little man."

"With pleasure!" Natsu said running up to attack the man that taunted him. However, he was unable to get on the first step as Makarov stopped him with one of his fist slamming down on the pinkette putting Lucy into shock.

"You are not allowed on the second floor Natsu. At least not yet." The master said.

The blond haired male grinned down from the second floor as he leaned on his arms, "I think you made him grumpy."

"Shut up!" Natsu yelled as he tried to fight his way up.

"That's enough out of you Laxus." The master said leveling his eyes on the blond.

However, the man continued to talk as he held his arms out. What he said making Reinhart even angrier, "The most powerful one in the guild isn't some chick in armor, a man who can cause fear, or even a hooded weirdo. You want to know what the strongest wizard looks like? You're looking right at him."

Reinhart pulled away from his wife snarling as he challenged, "You want to back that up then I'll come up there and show you are not." Laxus turned and grinned as he added, "And keep in mind I can go up to the second floor and kick your privileged ass."

"Oh really? What are you going to do? Use your fear magic against me?"

"I won't even need to. You are not worth using my magic on." Reinhart stormed up the stairs and got right up in Laxus face, "I am sick and tired of you putting down others just because you think you are the top dog. There is more to being a good mage than power."

"Go ahead Reinhart. Prove you are the strongest wizard. Show me my worst fear."

"Like I told you, I am not wasting my magic on you."

"Reinhart." Yellow eyes glanced over enough to see his wife at the bottom of the stairs looking up at him. She shook her head as she held her hand close to her chest, "He's not worth it."

"What wrong Kristina? Don't think your man can fight me."

Pink eyes looked at the blond with a disappointed expression then looked at her husband, "Don't do this Reinhart, you are better than him. You don't have to prove that."

The fear mage was breathing heavily as he debated, "Go ahead attack me." Laxus put his arms out, "I'm open."

"Laxus!" Makarov warned watching the interaction carefully. Lucy looked between the two men with a hand over her mouth.

Baring his teeth Reinhart took a step back, "My wife is right." Yellow looked into the blond's eyes taking back a few more steps to be within Kristina's reach now that she was at the top of the stairs. She gently laid a hand on his arm looking up at him hopefully, "Fighting you here and now is not worth my time. When I get back from my job I'm kicking your ass in a guild approved fight."

"Why not now? Is your wife holding you back?" With a huff Kristina barely held herself from glaring at the man as he continued. "You know she could have done better than you."

Pink eyes closed as the female took deep breaths doing her best to keep herself under control. Feeling her husband shaking she held onto his arm, "Don't My Heart, don't let him get to you."

"I don't have to justify myself to you. I'll leave it up to Master Makarov to pick the day we fight. You better not back out." Reinhart walked away with his wife as the guild seemed to breathe easier now that he was doing so.
