Author's Note: Believe it or not, this chapter was actually hard for me to write. Much of it is in the head rather than the physical world, which meant digging a bit deeper into the emotional states of the characters. I ended up listening to my entire Sailor Moon playlist for it, picking out different moods and emotions I wanted to convey. Please review and tell me what you think.
Also, this is the last story that had to be updated for January... now I get to go where my will takes me... although I have several one-shots that are mostly finished I want to get out to all of you, and I am really excited to get out the next books for the On Her Own series, the Let Her Fall series, and I have several stories that are also waiting for a second part... Kidnapping Sailor Moon; A WISH; Married Strangers; The Honeymoon; The Prison... plus my secret project... this writer is happy as a clam (although, are clams actually happy? Or do we just assume?)!

Reader's Note: There are a few surprises in store for you in this chapter. You may be tempted to just skip over the weddings, since the vows are all similar, but trust me, this time, you REALLY don't want to do that.

***Usagi's POV***

Usagi shot up in the bed, hand over her pounding heart, panting. She turned to see Mamoru rising as well and threw herself into his arms. The nightmare had been awful. She'd seen him bleeding in front of the laughing queen from her old nightmares. "You can't die," she moaned, clinging as tightly as she could. The glowing numbers on the clock told her it was a little after three in the morning.

Mamoru soothed her, running his hand up and down her back in slow strokes. "You can't either," he said. "Are you sure you want to do this today with such a large battle coming?"

Swallowing hard, Usagi nodded. Late the night before her father's friends had both come to the house and told them there were plans for a massive joint wedding. Her father, having heard from Shingo, had asked if she and Mamoru wanted to join in so they could share the day with their friends. At first Usagi had balked, even knowing Mamoru's feelings about it, because they'd only just gotten married, but then Luna had promised that she and Artemis would take on their human forms for the event. She'd wanted Luna there, and the girls, and she knew Mamoru wanted his friends there as well. She also knew the others wanted to declare their love permanently. While it was sad, it was also incredibly sweet, and Usagi couldn't refuse any of them.

"Yes," she whispered. "I just don't want to be away from you," she said. "I need you with me." She felt like she was falling into a dark hole and couldn't scramble out. The thought of losing him tore her apart. Now that they finally had each other she couldn't bear to be parted.

"Everything will be okay," Mamoru promised, though they both knew anything could go wrong. The Negaverse had been far too quiet, and the morning after the wedding, while their friends and family were safely in Elysion and blissfully unaware, they would be going to the Dark Kingdom to destroy it once and for all. Usagi sniffled and snuggled her head against Mamoru. "I promise Usako. We will survive this."

"Just don't leave me," she begged. "Not for a second."

Mamoru smiled. "We have the bond Usako. You girls will have to get dressed, and so do us guys. But before and after that I'll be with you the whole time." She could feel his worry in spite of his gentle tone and hopeful words. His arms tightened around her almost painfully. She knew what he was about to say, wanted him to keep silent, but he let out a soft sigh. "Remember your promise Usako."

Sniffling, she nodded against his chest. "I remember Mamo-chan." They'd talked it out, but Usagi wasn't sure she could keep such a promise. Their unborn daughter needed her to stay alive if she lost him. And she would try. She would try to be as strong as the Queen, but she could hardly breathe at the thought of losing him. "I promise." She would make sure their baby was born, would make sure she had a future.

The only thing she could do after that was change the subject. It hurt too much to think of a single moment without him in the world. "Do you think they suspect?"

"What? That we're sending them to Elysion with ulterior motives?" Mamoru squeezed her harder.

"Yeah," Usagi whispered. "My dad isn't dumb. I bet he's already figured out it isn't about giving them a second honeymoon. Not when we're sending the kids, and Naru and the others."

"I know. He already came and asked me to protect you. I'm sure they're all aware, but it's easier to pretend everything is okay."

Usagi sniffled, unable to stop herself. As terrified as she was, she knew she and Mamoru both had to project an aura of strength for the others. They needed to see their leaders resolute and full of faith that they would win the day. "I love you Mamo-chan. Forever."

"And I love you Usako," Mamoru said, kissing her passionately. "Always." He bent over, laying her back on the bed and moving to lay over her. "I love you so much."

Usagi spread her legs and he fell into the cradle of them. Within moments they were connected completely, their hearts beating wildly as they clung, kissing, while he slowly moved in and out of her, and when their lips parted he pulled back so he could stare into her eyes. She had never felt closer to him than in that moment. As they gazed into each other, their mental voices were proclaiming their undying love for one another. And Usagi knew, if he were to die she would be lost with him. She would carry on, for his sake and for the sake of their daughter, but her heart and soul would follow him to the grave.

::Usako, you are my everything,:: he whispered into her mind.

::Mamo-chan, you are mine.::

It wasn't a wild and passionate lovemaking. It was slow, each second feeling like an eternity, and neither wanted it to end. Their bodies, minds, hearts, and souls were connected and both wanted to stay that way for eternity. But eventually they both climaxed and Usagi felt her heart break just a little, knowing it could be the last time. They stayed connected through the rest of the long night.

***Haruna's POV***

Osaka Mayumi and Sakurada Haruna arrived at the Hikawah Jinja at just after seven, both a little nervous. Having been friends for several years, they were as close now as sisters. Haruna was a little more familiar with the chaos that was the Senshi, having been caught in more attacks than her best friend, but also having close association with Usagi and several of the other girls for months.

"I can't believe we're doing this," Mayumi said, frowning as they passed through the torii gate and climbed the stairs. "It's just so hard to imagine. I kept pinching myself all night, trying to find out if I was dreaming."

Haruna laughed. "I know exactly what you mean. It was hard enough accepting those girls were the Senshi, but an entire alternate world?" She found it amazing that something like that could even exist, and her heart had beat wildly wondering if it was safe to go, but she trusted Usagi and the others.

"Do you think we actually will learn anything?"

"Hai. I've seen things I couldn't begin to describe. Yesterday I knew those two new students needed Usagi right away. I think I've already been getting better because I started focusing on it." Haruna shrugged. She hadn't ever really thought about her 'gift' until Usagi brought it up.

"I just don't want ghosts haunting me constantly." Mayumi shuddered. "I purposefully closed myself off to it for years."

"I can't begin to imagine what it's like," Haruna started, then she stopped in place a few steps from the top and simply stared. "What is going on?" She stared in shock at several young girls in nearly matching wedding dresses, the only difference in them being the accent colors on the ribbons that cinched the bodices. And the young men they loved were in light colored suits with the matching accents.

"Looks like a wedding," Mayumi answered, laughing, until she caught sight of the girls. "Wait. Those are our students," she hissed.

"Exactly. What do you think. Is something going on they aren't telling us?"

"Do you remember that story we saw about World War One?" Mayumi asked. "About all the weddings?"

Haruna gasped. "They're going to try and fight those Negapeople. That's why they're sending us away." Panic tried to eat at her. She didn't want them going to fight.

"I'm sure we'll learn too, while we're there," Mayumi murmured, "but that's exactly what they're doing. I would almost be willing to bet my car on it."

"What do we do?" Haruna asked, panic rising up in her chest. "I don't want them fighting. Especially not Usagi and Minako." Her heart was racing. "Yumi, they're just babies."

"We can't stop them Runa-chan," Mayumi murmured. "We can't let them know we're afraid. We have to show confidence in them." She turned and pulled Haruna into a tight hug. "It's going to be okay. We've seen what they can do, and from what I hear they've only gotten better." She pulled back, looking like she might cry.

"They have gotten better," Naru said, startling them both. "Usagi and Mamoru are nervous, but they are trying really hard to be strong. All we can do is be strong for them and pretend not to know what's happening." She paused. "Hi Haruna-sensei, Mayumi-sensei."

Haruna let out a shaky laugh. "Hi Naru-chan," she said softly. "Alright," she added, "I won't think about it."

"Instead we can think about him," Mayumi said, biting her lip. Haruna turned and caught sight of a man who appeared to be in his early thirties. He was wearing a grey suit and tie and a pair of wire-framed glasses. He had wavy brown hair and was smiling down at Usagi who was talking to him with her hands waving every which way while Mamoru watched looking infatuated with her. The man had a grin that did strange things to Haruna's belly.

"Hot!" Haruna said, waving a hand in front of her face. "Usagi knows him. We should find out who he is."

"That would be Kobayashi Akio," Naru informed them, giggling. "He's single, a lawyer in his thirties, and believes he is absolutely doomed to a life of loneliness. He, Kenji-papa, and Saichirou Kei, who is a judge, have all been friends for a long time."

"How on earth did you find all that out?" Mayumi asked.

Haruna laughed and pointed to Umino, who was hiding partly behind Naru, writing furiously in a little notebook. "That would be Umino Guiro, also in my class. The boy cannot stand a mystery. Between his gift for knowing what might happen, Naru's ability to sense what others are feeling, and the fact that she and Usagi have been running through each other's houses since first grade, it's no surprise she knows all that."

"Would you like to meet him?" Naru asked.

"Oh yes," Mayumi said. "He's dreamy." Haruna could only agree. He was certainly handsome and had such a lonely air that she wanted to hold his hand and make everything better. She nodded to the young red-head.

"Well come on then." Naru called, grabbing them each by the hand. "Kobayashi-san!" she called out. "Come and meet Usagi and Mamoru's favorite teachers!"

Behind them, Haruna could hear Umino snicker. But she had no time to wonder why he was amused because Kobayashi Akio was bowing to her and Mayumi. She blushed as she bowed in return.

"Hello," she said, feeling like a fool. She looked to Mayumi, who seemed to be lost in a daydream, and nudged her until she said hello as well.

"Pleasure to meet you ladies," Akio said after they were formally introduced by a giggling Usagi. Haruna thought she could die happy if he just promised to talk for an hour. He had a voice that made her want to curl up and just listen to him read. Mayumi didn't seem to fare much better. She almost looked as though she was ready to drool.

"Would you be willing to accompany me to the pavilion?" he asked. "I feel sort of foolish with no date."

Swallowing hard, Haruna nodded. "We would be glad to," she said. "Come on Mayumi." She nudged her friend again. "Let's go."

He moved so that he was between them and each of them wrapped a hand around his arm. Haruna waved at Usagi, who was still giggling, now hugging Naru and whispering into her ear. The girls waved back and Haruna felt herself nudged slightly forward.

"I'm happy to meet you," she heard Akio say. "Usagi-chan was talking about you both last night. I guess you're both going to Elysion with us. I was ordered to go," he chuckled. "Those kids think we're too stupid to figure out they're trying to keep us safe."

"They know," Haruna argued. "They know we're only pretending to be clueless. But they also know we'll keep pretending to spare them."

Akio paused, looking back to where Usagi was now standing with Mamoru, clutching at the lapels of his suit jacket. "You're probably right," he said, and sighed. "It's hard to think of them going into that awful battle."

"The trick is to not think about it until after they've brought us to this Elysion place," Mayumi said softly. Haruna could hear the fear in her voice. "We have to stay strong a little longer."

"Hai," Haruna and Akio both agreed.

"Just help me keep smiling," Haruna added a moment later as tears threatened again. "Help me stay strong."

***Luna's POV***

Luna sniffled and brought a tissue to her eyes. She was wearing a bright yellow sundress with black edging, while Artemis was all in white. He had been hugging Minako to within an inch of her life, while Luna did the same to Usagi. "You girls are just so beautiful," she said, looking around the little tent that had been erected as a dressing room. Her eyes met Ikuko's then Saeko's and they both smiled and nodded to her. "I'm just so happy for all of you."

"We love you Luna!" the girls cried out and then they were all surrounding her, hugging her tightly. She had been their guardian and guide for so long, and all she wanted was to keep them safe. But she knew what they had to do, and so she clung to them, praying for their safety and sniffling a little. She really was trying to stay positive until the others were gone. Then she and Artemis could break down crying.

"It's almost time," Ikuko said, swiping at the tears on her own cheeks. "Do you girls remember the order?"

"Hai!" Rei bounced in place. "Usagi and Mamoru first, because they are adding the words of the Soul-Bond to the vows they already have, and then the rest of us."

"Line up," Artemis suggested. "It will be easier. I'll go out and make sure your men are ready. I think they're all a little nervous."

Usagi giggled. "Mamo-chan said Kunzite started to panic, thinking he lost the rings and Motoki had to shake him."

"He's calm now, thankfully," Minako added.

) O (

Ten minutes later the couple were all standing in a semicircle around Saichirou Kei and Grandfather Hino, who were each doing part of the ceremony. When the music stopped, Usagi and Mamoru stepped forward. Judge Saichirou had done their regular vows not long before, but Grandfather Hino was going to add to that the eternal vow of the Soul-Bonding ceremony from Venus.

"Mamoru," Grandfather said, "you have promised to love, respect, help, and comfort your wife during peace and war, sickness and health for eternity. You have asked to add to this vow."

Mamoru swallowed visibly and Luna wanted to giggle, but the look in his eyes was solemn as he turned to Usagi and took her hands. "I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath." He said, his voice shaking slightly, but perfectly clear.

"Usagi" Grandfather said, his voice soft and a smile on his face, "you have promised to love, respect, help, and comfort your wife during peace and war, sickness and health for eternity. You have asked to add to this vow."

Usagi smiled up at Mamoru, and with a ringing voice repeated the vow. "I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath." Mamoru reached behind him and Motoki snuck something into his hand. Mamoru grinned and added a new piece to Usagi's ring then, a simple band, thin, braided silver and gold, with a pink heart diamond surrounded by tiny diamonds. She gasped and Luna suspected Mamoru hadn't informed her he was adding to it. He was already wearing his own wedding band.

"You may kiss your wife," Grandfather added, grinning and raising his eyebrows.

Mamoru swooped down and kissed Usagi wildly. Kei had to clear his throat to bring them back to reality, though he was chuckling. The couple stepped back into their place, both smiling and blushing slightly, though Luna knew they were fighting tears.

Luna grew more excited when the judge motioned Kunzite and Minako forward. It had been worked out so that Judge Saichirou would give the Earth wedding vows, while Grandfather gave the added Soul-Bonding vows. She wanted to see which vows they had chosen for the Earth portion, and was excited to see the ring.

"Shinro, Ine Kunzite , anata wa kono jyosei to kekkonshi fuufu to naru to shite orimasu".
(Groom, (Ine Kunzite), you this woman marry and become her partner.)

Anata wa, kenko na tokimo, soudenai tokimo, kono hito o aishi, kono hito o uyamai, kono hito o nagusame, kono hito o tasukete, sono inochi no kagiri kataku sessou o mamoru koto o chikaimasu ka?
(Will you in peaceful times, during sickness, this person love, this person respect, this person comfort, this person help, until death, do you promise to fulfil?)

Hai, chikaimasu.
(Yes, I promise.)

Kunzite's hands were shaking but his voice was strong. Luna sighed, loving the way he looked at Minako as though she were his entire world. She thought it was adorable that he had been so panicked, but was calmed just by his soulmate's presence.

Shinpu, Aino Minako, anata wa kono dansei to kekkonshi fuufu to naru to shite orimasu.
(Bride, (Aino Minako), you this man marry and become his partner.)

Anata wa, kenko na tokimo, soudenai tokimo, kono hito o aishi, kono hito o uyamai, kono hito o nagusame, kono hito o tasukete, sono inochi no kagiri kataku sessou o mamoru koto o chikaimasu ka?
(Will you in peaceful times, during sickness, this person love, this person respect, this person comfort, this person help, until death, do you promise to fulfil?)

Hai, chikaimasu.
(Yes, I promise.)

Minako smiled up at Kunzite as Grandfather stepped forward. "You have asked to add to the vow. Kunzite?"

Kunzite looked so serious as he stared down at his new bride. "I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath."

"Minako?" Grandfather asked. "You have asked to add to the vow."

"I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath." Minako's voice rang out, and her smile was broad as she stared up at Kunzite. Luna sniffled and wiped her eyes as Kunzite took the rings from Motoki and placed them on Minako's finger. Luna had seen them. It was three pieces, like what Mamoru had finally finished for Usagi, with the engagement portion a citrine heart surrounded by tiny diamonds.

Minako reached for the band Motoki handed her and slid it onto Kunzite's ring-finger. Luna had seen it and knew it was a simple band with their names engraved into it. She sniffled again when Kunzite swooped down to kiss Minako before the judge or grandfather could even speak. She could hear the others chuckling.

) O (

As soon as Minako and Kunzite moved back into the semi-circle, Nephrite and Makoto stepped forward. Luna felt Artemis clutching at her hand as she watched, feeling awe at the way Nephrite stared at Makoto. He looked so happy to be with her. She looked up at him like he was the only man on the planet, and almost seemed startled when the judge started to speak.

"Shinro, Yoshida Nephrite , anata wa kono jyosei to kekkonshi fuufu to naru to shite orimasu".
(Groom, (Yoshida Nephrite), you this woman marry and become her partner.)

Anata wa, kenko na tokimo, soudenai tokimo, kono hito o aishi, kono hito o uyamai, kono hito o nagusame, kono hito o tasukete, sono inochi no kagiri kataku sessou o mamoru koto o chikaimasu ka?
(Will you in peaceful times, during sickness, this person love, this person respect, this person comfort, this person help, until death, do you promise to fulfil?)

Hai, chikaimasu.
(Yes, I promise.)

Judge Saichirou turned towards Makoto. "Repeat after me," he murmured in a comforting voice. Luna could tell she was nervous.

Shinpu, Kino Makoto, anata wa kono dansei to kekkonshi fuufu to naru to shite orimasu.
(Bride, (Kino Makoto), you this man marry and become his partner.)

Anata wa, kenko na tokimo, soudenai tokimo, kono hito o aishi, kono hito o uyamai, kono hito o nagusame, kono hito o tasukete, sono inochi no kagiri kataku sessou o mamoru koto o chikaimasu ka?
(Will you in peaceful times, during sickness, this person love, this person respect, this person comfort, this person help, until death, do you promise to fulfil?)

Hai, chikaimasu.
(Yes, I promise.)

Grandfather spoke. "Nephrite, you have asked to add to the vow."

Nephrite smiled down at Makoto. "I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath."

"Makoto, you have asked to add to the vow."

"I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath." Makoto spoke in a rush, as though she couldn't wait to finish the words and get her kiss. There were chuckles all around.

Motoki handed the couple the rings and Nephrite placed an emerald heart on Makoto's finger then accepted the band she put on his that had their names engraved into the braided silver and gold.

"You may kiss your bride," Kei added with a smile.

Nephrite picked Makoto up like she weighed nothing and kissed her long and hard. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed just as passionately, tears streaking her cheeks. When they parted she started to giggle and he had to carry her back to their spot to watch the others. Luna sniggered. Nephrite seemed able to complete erase the warrior's brain cells.

) O (

Jadeite and Rei moved forward next, and Luna saw that Jadeite was sweating and shaking, while Rei looked perfectly calm. She squeezed his hand a little and supported him as they walked to the spot in front of the judge and Grandfather Hino.

Almost instantly the judge began to speak.

"Shinro, Sasake Jadeite, anata wa kono jyosei to kekkonshi fuufu to naru to shite orimasu".
(Groom, (
Sasake Jadeite), you this woman marry and become her partner.)

Anata wa, kenko na tokimo, soudenai tokimo, kono hito o aishi, kono hito o uyamai, kono hito o nagusame, kono hito o tasukete, sono inochi no kagiri kataku sessou o mamoru koto o chikaimasu ka?
(Will you in peaceful times, during sickness, this person love, this person respect, this person comfort, this person help, until death, do you promise to fulfil?)

Hai, chikaimasu."
(Yes, I promise.)

After Jadeite had stuttered through his lines, the judge turned to Rei.

"Shinpu, Hino Rei, anata wa kono dansei to kekkonshi fuufu to naru to shite orimasu.
(Bride, (Hino Rei), you this man marry and become his partner.)

Anata wa, kenko na tokimo, soudenai tokimo, kono hito o aishi, kono hito o uyamai, kono hito o nagusame, kono hito o tasukete, sono inochi no kagiri kataku sessou o mamoru koto o chikaimasu ka?
(Will you in peaceful times, during sickness, this person love, this person respect, this person comfort, this person help, until death, do you promise to fulfil?)

Hai, chikaimasu."
(Yes, I promise.)

Grandfather spoke. "Jadeite, you have asked to add to the vow."

Jadeite seemed calmer now as he recited the Soul-Bonding promise. "I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath."

Grandfather spoke. "Rei, you have asked to add to the vow."

"I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath." Rei's voice rung out strong and loud, and she grinned at her new husband and whispered, "breathe."

Luna chuckled at that. She didn't think Rei had meant for everyone to hear. Motoki gave them their rings and the ruby heart glinted in the sunlight as Rei helped Jadeite put it on her finger. He was still shaking. She took his hand and slid his own onto his finger.

"You may kiss your husband," Kei whispered. Everyone laughed, but Rei grabbed Jadeite by the lapels of his suit coat and pulled his face to hers, kissing him for all she was worth. Cat calls and cheers went up from crowd and everyone grinned as Jadeite grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer.

) O (

Zoicite and Ami moved forward then, and Luna couldn't help thinking they both looked far too calm. Ami didn't really like people to watch her, but she was so busy staring at Zoicite Luna thought she might have forgotten anyone else was there.

The judge started right away.

"Shinro, Sasake Zoicite, anata wa kono jyosei to kekkonshi fuufu to naru to shite orimasu".
(Groom, (
Sasake Zoicite), you this woman marry and become her partner.)

Anata wa, kenko na tokimo, soudenai tokimo, kono hito o aishi, kono hito o uyamai, kono hito o nagusame, kono hito o tasukete, sono inochi no kagiri kataku sessou o mamoru koto o chikaimasu ka?
(Will you in peaceful times, during sickness, this person love, this person respect, this person comfort, this person help, until death, do you promise to fulfil?)

Hai, chikaimasu."
(Yes, I promise.)

Zoicite didn't look remotely nervous, only deliriously happy as he copied the judge. He was smiling down at her, his strawberry blonde hair swaying a bit in a sudden breeze, and appeared to be unaware of the rest of the people who were there.

"Ami, repeat after me."

"Shinpu, Mizuno Ami, anata wa kono dansei to kekkonshi fuufu to naru to shite orimasu.
(Bride, (Mizuno Ami), you this man marry and become his partner.)

Anata wa, kenko na tokimo, soudenai tokimo, kono hito o aishi, kono hito o uyamai, kono hito o nagusame, kono hito o tasukete, sono inochi no kagiri kataku sessou o mamoru koto o chikaimasu ka?
(Will you in peaceful times, during sickness, this person love, this person respect, this person comfort, this person help, until death, do you promise to fulfil?)

Hai, chikaimasu."
(Yes, I promise.)

Grandfather spoke gently to them. "Zoicite, you have asked to add to the vow."

"I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath."

"Ami, you have asked to add to the vow."

"I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath."

Motoki moved closer and handed them the rings. The sapphire heart on Ami's finger winking and glinting in the sunlight made Luna smile. She watched them kiss and was a little shocked when Ami jumped into Zoicite's arms and wrapped her own arms and legs around him before kissing him far more passionately than she would have guessed.

Grandfather laughed and patted them both on the shoulders. The blushing couple broke apart, though their hands clasped instantly, and they made their way back to their place in the semi-circle.

) O (

"Haruki, repeat after me," Judge Saichirou said as the couple stood in front of him. Setsuna looked like she was shaking and Haruki couldn't tear his eyes away. Luna thought they were adorable.

"Shinro, Kazuo Haruki , anata wa kono jyosei to kekkonshi fuufu to naru to shite orimasu".
(Groom, (Kazuo Haruki), you this woman marry and become her partner.)

Anata wa, kenko na tokimo, soudenai tokimo, kono hito o aishi, kono hito o uyamai, kono hito o nagusame, kono hito o tasukete, sono inochi no kagiri kataku sessou o mamoru koto o chikaimasu ka?
(Will you in peaceful times, during sickness, this person love, this person respect, this person comfort, this person help, until death, do you promise to fulfil?)

Hai, chikaimasu.
(Yes, I promise.)

"Setsuna, repeat after me," the Judge continued, his voice soft and soothing as he turned to the girl who was shaking and crying, clinging to Haruki's hands.

Shinpu, Meiou Setsuna, anata wa kono dansei to kekkonshi fuufu to naru to shite orimasu.
(Bride, (Meiou Setsuna), you this man marry and become his partner.)

Anata wa, kenko na tokimo, soudenai tokimo, kono hito o aishi, kono hito o uyamai, kono hito o nagusame, kono hito o tasukete, sono inochi no kagiri kataku sessou o mamoru koto o chikaimasu ka?
(Will you in peaceful times, during sickness, this person love, this person respect, this person comfort, this person help, until death, do you promise to fulfil?)

Hai, chikaimasu.
(Yes, I promise.)

"You have asked to add to the vow. Haruki?" Grandfather was grinning happily.

Haruki smiled and winked at Setsuna, his bright eyes shining. "I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath."

"Setsuna?" Grandfather asked. "You have asked to add to the vow."

"I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath." Setsuna looked like she might break into tears before she finished, and Haruki grabbed her up in his arms and kissed her. Luna couldn't stop smiling, thankful that Setsuna would never be alone again. When Haruki pulled back for a breath Motoki shoved the rings in his face to get his attention before he started kissing her again. Everyone laughed at that, because now Setsuna was no longer shaking or crying. She looked like she might float away on a cloud.

Setsuna's stone was a brilliant emerald with two yellow topaz stones to either side. Luna thought it was rather perfect.

) O (

Both Kei and Grandfather bowed their heads solemnly then, and Grandfather Hino began to speak.

"The law does not yet accept legal bindings between couples of the same gender. This is sad because the Kami do not abhor love in any of it's complex forms. We have two here who share an eternal love, and while it is not recognized by the laws of Japan, it will be recognized in the eyes of the Kami, through the vows of the Soul-Bond. They will join forever in the eyes of their friends and loved ones."

"Ten'ou Haruka and Kaiou Michiru, please step forward," Kei called, smiling at the couple, who were already holding hands.

"Ten'ou Haruka you have asked to be bound to your mate. Recite your vow." Grandfather said, smiling broadly now.

Haruka cleared her throat and turned to face Michiru fully. Her voice shook slightly and she blushed as she recited the words. "I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath."

"Kaiou Michiru, recite your vow." Grandfather smiled at her.

"I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath." Michiru's voice was like music and she looked as though she might weep with gratitude. She wore a wedding dress, like the other girls, though Haruka had chosen a suit. She wasn't shaking at all. Luna wept openly.

Haruka turned when Motoki approached with the rings and slid them onto Michiru's finger slowly. The ones she gave to Michiru had a heart-shaped stone that matched the color of the sea in a storm, a deep grey-blue. The ones Michiru gave to Haruka held a heart-shaped stone that was slightly yellow, and reminded Luna of the color of a sandstorm.

"You may kiss your Soul-Bonded," the judge said, his voice choked as though he might cry. When their lips met everyone cheered. Haruka picked Michiru up to get closer, making them all laugh.

Shingo and Hotaru moved forward then. They weren't getting married, but Shingo had asked to publicly declare his intentions to marry Hotaru, and she wanted to publicly accept. Luna thought it was sweet. They were so young, but already their close friendship was beginning to turn into love. She prayed they would be safe.

Grandfather Hino smiled at the couple. "You have asked to declare before the Kami that you two intend to wed. I have called to the Kami, and they are listening. Shingo, you may speak."

"I love Tomae Hotaru," he said, his voice soft. "I would like to marry her, if she agrees."

"Hotaru?" Grandfather asked.

"I love Tsukino Shingo. I agree to marry him when the time is right."

"The Yuino will happen at the appropriate time," the judge announced.

Everyone clapped and Luna wanted to scream her happiness for them. Everything was tempered by a shadow of fear however. She knew what was coming, even if most of the others didn't. Using the excuse that everyone cried at weddings she wept unashamedly. She was about to stand and move closer to congratulate everyone when the judge started speaking again.

"We've had a special request," Judge Saichirou said. "Artemis?"

Artemis stood and pulled Luna out of her chair. He cleared his throat. "Though technically we are still married by the laws of the Millennial Kingdom," he said softly, "I would like to be legally bound by the rules of Earth. Luna, would you marry me again?"

Luna sobbed, nodding frantically.

"Come forward," Grandfather ordered gently.

Judge Saichirou began to recite the vows and Artemis copied his words.

"Shinro, Neko Artemis, anata wa kono jyosei to kekkonshi fuufu to naru to shite orimasu".
(Groom, (
Neko Artemis), you this woman marry and become her partner.)

Anata wa, kenko na tokimo, soudenai tokimo, kono hito o aishi, kono hito o uyamai, kono hito o nagusame, kono hito o tasukete, sono inochi no kagiri kataku sessou o mamoru koto o chikaimasu ka?
(Will you in peaceful times, during sickness, this person love, this person respect, this person comfort, this person help, until death, do you promise to fulfil?)

Hai, chikaimasu."
(Yes, I promise.)

Luna felt herself shaking, but as she copied the judge her voice was strong and she didn't falter.

"Shinpu, Neko Luna, anata wa kono dansei to kekkonshi fuufu to naru to shite orimasu.
(Bride, (Neko Luna), you this man marry and become his partner.)

Anata wa, kenko na tokimo, soudenai tokimo, kono hito o aishi, kono hito o uyamai, kono hito o nagusame, kono hito o tasukete, sono inochi no kagiri kataku sessou o mamoru koto o chikaimasu ka?
(Will you in peaceful times, during sickness, this person love, this person respect, this person comfort, this person help, until death, do you promise to fulfil?)

Hai, chikaimasu."
(Yes, I promise.)

Grandfather spoke again. "Artemis," Grandfather asked. "You have asked to add to the vow."

"I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath." Artemis spoke all in a rush, looking like he might hop right out of his skin if he had to keep waiting.

"Luna, recite your vow."

"I possess and am possessed. Forever mated and unified with you. I will protect and cherish, hold and succor until my dying breath."

Artemis turned to Motoki and raised his eyebrows. Motoki stepped forward and handed him the set of rings, then gave another ring to Luna. It was a simple band, but engraved over it was their names. Artemis slid her rings onto her finger and she stared down at the bright yellow sapphire heart surrounded by diamonds. She slid his ring onto his finger as well, and then he was kissing her and Luna thought she might faint with the intensity of it.

When all the ceremonies were over, the teenagers moved together around Luna and Artemis, hugging and crying happily. "How did you hide that from us?" Minako asked, looking at Artemis.

He grinned. "I went to Motoki when none of you were around."

"I can't believe you kept it a secret," Luna said, laughing. "You tell Mina-chan everything."

Artemis laughed. "I just thought it would be perfect. I wanted you to share the day with them like we did before. It's sort of perfect."

Luna nodded, arms wrapped around him. She was growing tired and soon would have to take on her normal form again, but she was deliriously happy to have renewed their vows and that she got to share the day with her girls.

Everyone started coming closer, smiling, laughing, and hugging. Then Grandfather reminded them to bring the evergreen branches forward and give their thanks to the kami and pray for health and good fortune for their brand new families. She sniffled and nodded, then hugged the older man and Kei both in gratitude.

***Jadeite's POV***

He was barely hanging on.

Jadeite clutched Takeo to him, hugging hard, and pretending everything was okay. "I love you Takeo," he whispered into the boy's hair.

"I love you too Jadeite-papa. And you Rei-mama," he added, pulling her into their hug, wrapping a long strand of black hair around his little fist. It was a nervous habit he had been showing since the day he'd been saved.

Rei hugged them both tight, a fake smile on her face. "Now, you be good for Grandpa. And Grandma-Ikuko says she will teach you and Yuzuki how to make cookies. Won't that be fun?"

"She will?" Takeo asked, wriggling to get down. A moment later he had run off yelling for Yuzuki.

Grandfather came over and wrapped his arms around Rei. "You be safe my girl," he said. "The Kami will protect you both."

"I love you," Rei said, trying her hardest not to cry.

She sniffled and Jadeite almost lost it. He wanted to bundle her up and send her with the others to safety. As strong as he was, Jadeite knew she was pregnant, and he couldn't bear the thought of losing her and their child. He wasn't even sure if she knew. He had been too afraid to say anything, worried it would distract her during the coming battle. They were all trying to be strong, and to keep the mood happy, so he attempted a joke and hugged the old man as well.

"They'll be okay," Jadeite whispered, once Grandfather had moved to stand with the others.

"Yes, they will," Rei said. She turned into his chest to hide her face and he could feel hot tears on his shirt. "They'll be safe."

"Hai. And so will we. I'll make sure we both come out of this Rei. I love you." He held her tighter.

They'd been all over each other through the night, and both of them were exhausted, but he wanted to haul her off and prove his love to her again. He wanted to run away with her and put her in Elysion, where she would be protected. Instead he forced a smile onto his face and waved to Takeo, who was holding Ikuko's hand and chattering to Yuzuki, who held the other. At least they knew that no matter what happened to them, their loved ones would survive.

They'd asked Grandfather the night before, if the worst were to happen, if he would raise Takeo. He'd agreed, but told them he knew they would come through it all and be stronger on the other side. Jadeite prayed he was right.

***Setsuna's POV***

"You'll be good for Grandma-Ikuko, won't you Yuzuki?" Setsuna stared into the bright green eyes of the little girl she already loved as her own.

"Uh huh," the little one said, throwing her arms around Setsuna's waist and holding tight. "I love you," she whispered.

Setsuna fought back the tears and picked her up. "I love you too Zuki," she whispered into the girl's hair, telegraphing her need to Haruki.

Within seconds he had his arms wrapped around them both. "You get to play with Takeo and have a lot of fun. It's going to be awesome," he said, and only Setsuna knew he was trying his hardest not to cry as well. "It will be so much fun."

"I love you Haruki-papa," Zuki said, sighing.

"I love you too little one," he said, and Setsuna saw him dig his face into her hair to hide a few tears that fell in spite of himself. It was too hard to stay strong. She needed help.

"Zuki!" Takeo called. "Grandma says she's gonna make us cookies!"

"Cookies!" Yuzuki screamed, kicking her little legs to get down. She raced to Takeo and grabbed his hand before running to Ikuko.

Setsuna moved closer to give the older woman a hug and a whispered thank you. The night before they had asked her and Kenji, should the worst happen, to become guardians to Yuzuki. They'd both nodded, trying not to cry, pretending they didn't know that possibility was coming ever closer. The paperwork was done, and should she and Haruki both fall, they would take Yuzuki as their own.

"Be safe," Ikuko whispered, then pulled back, a huge smile pasted on her face. But her eyes couldn't lie.

Setsuna saw her worry. She kissed her soft cheek and smiled. "We'll see you soon," she promised, though all of them knew she couldn't guarantee it.

***Mamoru's POV***

"Are you going to be okay?" Motoki asked, looking back to where the others were saying their own goodbyes.

"We will," Mamoru said, though he couldn't be sure it was true.

"I have faith in you Mamoru. We all do. We aren't unaware of your plan. Most of us. We all know what's about to happen, and we believe in you. You can do this."

"Thanks Toki." Mamoru tried to contain his worry for his best friend. They'd known each other so long, been there for each other through so much. He didn't want to say goodbye.

"Look," Motoki whispered, nodding his head to where Paden and Unazuki were just standing together staring at one another.

"He's head over heels for her," Mamoru whispered. "All he can talk about is how strong she is, and how she defended herself against that creep."

"Really?" Motoki asked.

"Really. I think it's sort of sweet. He would do just about anything for her. I wish Usagi was going with you too, but I know she's stronger than the rest of us."

"Don't sell yourself short Mamoru," Motoki said, looking a little annoyed. "Yes, she's strong, but so are you. You are her strength. Your love is what she's fighting for right now. Your love, and your daughter." He frowned. "I won't say goodbye to you Mamoru. I know you'll come back. I know you'll make it through this. So instead, I am going to say see you later."

Thanks Toki." Mamoru did something then he had never done before. He wrapped his arms around his best friend and hugged him hard. "See you."

When Motoki stepped back his bright green eyes looked determined. "You stay safe or I'll kick your ass."

Laughing, Mamoru slapped his shoulder. "I'll let you."

He watched as Motoki moved over to hug Usagi, and then went to the others in the group. He deliberately bit his inner cheek to avoid tearing up. He had to look strong.

::It will be okay,:: Usagi said into his mind. ::They're safe and we will get through this. Together.::

::Together.:: It was a promise.

***Shingo's POV***

"It will be okay mom," Shingo whispered, holding his mother tight. He saw Usagi and Haruki converging on them. "I'll protect Usagi," he promised. "We've trained for this, and we'll have a couple more good trainings before we go."

"I love you Shingo. I love you so much."

"I love you too."

He felt his mother squeeze just a little harder, and then she let go so he could hug his father. Everywhere the others were hugging and making their own promises. Shingo stepped back and took Hotaru's hand. He was determined. He would protect her and Usagi. He wouldn't fail no matter what.

As the rest of the group clustered together, Mamoru and Usagi ordered them to henshin, and they gathered around their friends and family in a circle. Then he felt Mamoru leading the teleportation into Elysion. They didn't stay. It was too hard to say goodbye a second time. So they waved and pulled away from the ones they loved and gathered again.

"Take care of them," Usagi said, looking at Maboroshi.

"We will young one," the woman said, her blond hair swaying forward as she bowed low in respect. "All will be well Majesty." Shingo frowned. Usagi didn't like it when they referred to her as a queen.

A moment later they were back at the Jinja. Luna, back in her cat form, came out of the meeting room the girls had set up long ago and they all moved to meet her. They had work to do. They had to plan and train before they left.

Hotaru, who hadn't let go of his hand, pulled Shingo off to the side. "Shingo, I wanted to do something," she said, her voice hardly audible. "Before we left, I mean. I don't know if we'll ever have a chance after, and I don't want to push you, but I think..." she trailed off, then leaned in and gave him a tiny kiss on the mouth.

Shingo was shocked. He hadn't been expecting it, and they were both so young. But he could see her blushing and looking nervous, fiddling with her fingers. So he moved forward and put his hand behind her neck the way he'd seen Mamoru do to Usagi and lowered his lips to hers for a second kiss. This one just a little longer, but still chaste. They weren't ready for more, and he was determined not to push her into anything. When he lifted his head, he stared her in the eyes. "Hotaru, I love you. I just wanted you to know that, in case anything happens."

"I love you too Shingo," Hotaru said, then threw her arms around him, shaking. "Don't you dare die."

He heard weeping and looked over her shoulder to where Usagi and Michiru stood clutching one another and weeping. Mamoru and Haruka both looked shocked, like he felt. "I won't die," Shingo whispered. "And I won't let you die either."

***Agate's POV***

"We can do this," Agate said, looking at Bane, Paden and Heliodor, who had come to him with worries. "We know we can't be turned evil again. She can try all she wants. We're strong enough. We can do this," he repeated.

"I know we can do it," Heliodor said, her voice barely audible. "I'm just worried. How can Usagi possibly get through to Beryl. Do you think she can really save her?"

"If she can't Usagi said she can save her Crystal. Her soul will be pulled inside."

"What?" Paden asked, looking startled.

"She went to Maboroshi. Asked what she should do. Maboroshi told her that because she holds the Silver Crystal she can Wish. One way or another, Beryl will be saved."

"How is it that such a tiny lass can be so powerful?" Paden asked, though he obviously didn't expect an answer. "She certainly seems weak at first glance. That's part of her charm."

"We have to stick together, and stay with the plan," Bane said. "Remember, just like us, Beryl is being used. She needs to be saved. Remember, get the damned necklace off her. Then Usagi can heal her. And after that our only goal is to keep her and Mamoru alive. They're the most powerful, but also the most vulnerable."

"Asahi said Minako is pregnant," Heliodor said, frowning as she looked over at Minako, who was being given a last minute lesson on the sword by her husband. "I think Rei might be too," she added softly. "Look at how Jadeite is acting."

"He certainly seems worried," Paden murmured. Agate looked and saw that Jadeite was hovering over and around Rei like a storm cloud, looking like he would do nearly anything to protect her.

"Then we watch them and Setsuna as well," Agate said. "Our task is simple. Keep them alive at all costs."

"Hai," the others agreed. He met each of their eyes and nodded.

"Lets do this thing," he said, smiling now. "We need a bit more practice. I hear Usagi and Minako have to take a short trip. Lets work through our attacks while they're gone."

***Minako***

"It's time," Usagi said, interrupting the practice session Minako was having with Kunzite.

Kunzite sheathed his sword and bowed, before grabbing her and holding tight. "I'll see you soon love," he whispered. Minako nodded, clinging to him for just a moment, before she stepped back and turned to her friend. "I'm ready," she announced.

Usagi stepped closer, looking once over her shoulder at Mamoru. Minako knew she didn't want to be parted, even for a minute, but they needed the others to stay in Tokyo. The Negaverse had been far too quiet and they were worried about an attack coming while they were gone. Originally Usagi had intended to take all the Senshi, but with the worry of looming battles, they had decided it would just be the two of them.

They clasped hands and Minako closed her eyes as the darkness of teleportation took them. She could feel the pressure, the absence of air for the space of a heartbeat, and then they were on the moon, within the shield that protected the remnants of an ancient city. It was hard to look at the destruction all around them without shivering.

"This way," Usagi said softly. Minako could almost feel the heartache coming off her friend in waves. "The Princess Garden is this through here."

They walked the remnants of one beautiful halls, until they reached the wing where the Royal Family had once lived. There were three gardens surrounding it. The Princess Garden was closer to the rest of the palace, having been a place that needed constant protection. Shattered fountains and long dead plants in their boxes still remained, hinting at what had once been an incredible place of peace and rest. A place where the Princess could escape life at Court. But it also held something very special.

In the center of a small clear space stood a large stone, and piercing it was the Holy Sword. The Holy Sword was always held by the leader of the Senshi, the one from Venus. But it had to be earned. No one could claim it until they were sure within themselves, knew their power, their purpose, and truly loved their charge, the Princess. Minako knew all this, and was thankful for all she had learned when Usagi and Mamoru had come back from the island, because she was sure of herself. She knew her purpose better than she ever could have in their last life, and she loved Usagi as much more than her charge. Usagi was her best friend. Her sister. Her Queen.

She didn't hesitate. She had been taught not to during her last life. Hesitation would have meant she wasn't ready. But she truly was. She stepped forward, put her hand on the hilt, knowing it would come to her, and only gave a slight tug before the sword came from the stone with a whisper of sound. She held it up, watching in amazement as the scabbard appeared at her waist, then she sheathed the sword and turned back to Usagi.

"It's finished," she said.

"It is. We can go now."

"We can." Minako walked to her side and slung an arm around her. "I have to admit, I'm a little worried about this battle. The babies..."

"Don't worry. All of us have shields during pregnancy. It will be okay."

"It's just... what about the guys."

"That's one of the reasons Mamo-chan and I decided everyone will be paired with their soulmate except for Agate, Bane, and Paden. We're all stronger with our Bonded, even before the bond reforges. More than that though, with more than half the girls pregnant, it gives them that protection too."

"Wait, half?"

Usagi giggled. "All but Ami, Heliodor, and Hotaru."

"Seriously?" Minako frowned. "Do they know?"

"Not all of them. Rei suspects and Jadeite is absolutely certain. Michiru and Haruka are hoping, but not sure. Makoto is completely clueless. Sets knows, and you and I do, but the rest... I think they may get a few surprises."

Minako nodded. "Shouldn't we tell them?"

"And freak their Soul-Bonded out? No. They'd be trying to get all us girls into Elysion. It's better this way. They all need to know they can protect themselves, and their mates."

"You're sneaky," Minako whispered.

"I know right. The blonde dynamos at it again."

Feeling a bit happier and more confident, Minako grinned as they teleported back and smiled up at Kunzite as he snatched her up into a hug. Usagi was being hugged to within an inch of her life by Mamoru as well.

***Beryl's POV***

"Send them out Fire," Beryl said, looking down at the line of replicating Youma standing before her. A few had been tried before, but with the new enhancements, Beryl thought they would fare better. She glanced at Fire Dragon Opal, who was far better than the Youma the little brat had made, and smiled.

"Yes my Queen," Fire answered. "Moon Beam, Rapid Growth, Blue Moon, Deep Freeze, Crisper, Sparky, Glimmer, Scorch, Drowning, Tornado, Stopwatch, and Poison. You know your task. Destroy the Senshi and gather as much energy as you can for our Great Ruler."

"Go with them Fire," Beryl said. "See it done."

"Hai!" He bowed and turned to the Youma. A moment later they were all gone and Beryl's laughter rung on the walls of the cavern. "Those moon brats won't know what hit them," she said, delighted. Each of the replicating Youma was modeled after an attack from one or more of those stupid fools who though they could defy her. They had a lot to learn. Queen Beryl was no fool.

***Usagi's POV***

"Something's wrong!" Usagi said, shooting up from her seat. They had all been sitting together, having just finished dinner, when she felt the slimy presence of Youma, much stronger than she had ever felt it before. "Henshin yo!"

Usagi became Sailor Moon almost instantaneously and before she could second-guess herself, she grabbed ahold of Tuxedo Kamen and teleported. Once they arrived in the middle of a crowded train station, she opened her communicator to broadcast her location to the others. People were running and screaming around them and she could see several Youma. They were the kind that replicated. She wanted to swear. The others weren't that great with replicators. She and Tuxedo Kamen would have to get as many as they could.

Sailor Mercury and South Knight appeared to their left. "Mercury," Sailor Moon said, keeping her voice low. "I want you to scan as many of them as you can. Try and find the one with the highest energy levels. As soon as you do, South can mark it for someone to take down."

Tuxedo Kamen turned when Sun Knight appeared. "Sun, get the originals, like before."

"Got it."

"Mars, West, get as many people out as you can. The rest of you, keep them distracted. As soon as South marks a target, take it out. Got it."

"Got it," the others chorused.

Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen moved together and went out into the middle of the room. They had to focus on the replicators. Everyone knew their tasks and would work together to take out the dangerous creatures. As soon as the Youma saw them they began to replicate until it seemed like there were dozens and dozens of them around them. Sailor Moon reached for her tiara and charged it. She felt, more than saw, Tuxedo Kamen prepare to separate it even as he was throwing roses left and right. She realized he was marking the ones he sensed had the strongest energy. Those were the originals.

"Moon Tiara Action!" she kept her call low, but sent out the tiara. She watched it split into four and urged the pieces to follow those marked with a rose. Two went down instantly, taking their copies with them, but the others ducked and dodged. They seemed slightly smarter than the ones they had faced before, which worried Sailor Moon. The last thing they needed was for them to think of splitting up.

The battle raged on, one after another of the Youma screaming their names as they died. But Sailor Moon became distracted by someone standing behind them. A Youma with white streaks in his hair and a stone on his forehead. It wasn't Heliodor's Youma, but rather one of the similar ones he had warned Asahi about. She could sense the dark energy within him. She dodged a strike of lightning from the Youma that mimicked Jupiter and East's attacks.

::There! By the stairs. Do you see him?:: she asked her Bonded.

::That one is one of the bad ones. Even I can sense the dark energy,:: Tuxedo Kamen answered.

::Lets get him and leave the rest of the replicators to the others. Can you send out vines?::

::Hie.::

Tuxedo Kamen pretended to be fighting still, but while they were both throwing attacks at the replicating Youma he was sending creeping vines up the ankles of the time Youma. Sailor Moon pulled her Wand and sent her energy into it. ::I think we have to hit the stone. That's where his power seems to be coming from.::

::On it.::

They both turned at the same time, completely in sync now that they had accepted their birthrights, and Sailor Moon used her Moon Wand to send her "Moon Healing Escalation" attack while Tuxedo Kamen sent a single rose directly into the center of his forehead. It exploded on impact and there was a dark circle that surrounded it. The Youma screamed, and disappeared, dust floating down to the ground.

Panting, Sailor Moon turned back to the fight, only to find that the replicating Youma were gone. She frowned, worried that they had all escaped back to the Negaverse. But she saw the others smiling and relaxed.

"Your attack took them all out at once," Blue Moon Knight said, moving to give her a high-five. "That's a lot of power sis."

Sailor Moon laughed. She felt better about their upcoming battle in the Negaverse. That had been so much easier than she'd thought it would be. "We've got this," she said, grinning at everyone. "We've really got this."

"Twelve Youma at once. Beryl must be desperate," North said, panting slightly. He wrapped an arm around Sailor Venus.

"We've worked really hard," Tuxedo Kamen said. "This just proves we're ready. Come on."

Sailor Moon moved to where Animalis Knight (Paden), New Life Knight (Bane), and Pure Light Knight (Agate) stood. "You guys were incredible," she told them. "That was impressive." They really had worked hard and though their powers were new and different after they'd been healed, all three seemed to have a good grasp on using them.

They all gathered together and teleported to the Jinja. They would spend the night there, all together, before leaving very early in the morning, before the sun came up. After releasing her henshin, Usagi moved through the group, encouraging everyone until Mamoru grabbed her around the waist and pulled her away for some rather passionate kisses and intense lovemaking pressed against a wall.
