What's up, my beautiful readers! Hope you had a fantastic day/night! Welcome back to the "Esper of UA: Season 2"
Good news! I've wrapped up the required national youth service! Now I have more free time! WOHOO!
I've decided to leave the important author's note in case anyone wants to help out in making this fan-comic. I've also decided to restructure the next few chapters a little.
Originally, this was supposed to be the Saitama and Yu chapter. But after looking through some chapters, I decided that she be stalled for a special two-part chapter between Aizawa and Mosquito Girl.
Once this two-part chapter has been resolved, we'll head over to the Yu and Saitama chapter.
DISCLAIMER: I DON'T OWN ANY CARTOON. IF I DID, THEY WILL BE AWESOME.
EDIT: Thanks to a reviewer, it has come to my attention that I misnamed Hawks as Wings. I could change this, however I have made this mistake prior to this chapter. I've decided that I will leave the name as it is until I can canonically change it to Hawks. Thanks for understanding.
Now on to the chapter.
Chapter 32: Diary of A Lost Mosquito Girl Part 1
The sun was at the horizon. The atmosphere was mostly calm, except at a small park where a group of elementary kids were bullying someone. They were gathered in a circle, with the girls and boys of the group kicking the bullied. On their faces were despise and hatred.
"Take that, damn vampire!"
"That'll teach you to bite on Ki-chan!"
The bullied girl was at their age. She begged for their mercy, but that only made them to snicker and laugh.
"Hey! Let go of my sister!"
The kids turned back, before the tallest was punched in the face. He fell to the ground, which stopped the bullying. All eyes went to the assailant, who was panting angrily with his pupils glowing red.
"D-Damn…" The kid cursed as he stood up. He pushed his arm forward and opened his hand. "I'll make you fucking pay for that, dipshit!"
He tried to unleash his quirk, but nothing came out. Confused, he stared at his palm, and muttered. "W-What is going on?"
"The Vampire-siblings…" muttered one girl. She took a sacred step back as she stared at him. "The sister sucks your blood…and the brother…sucks your quirk."
The kids shrieked in fear and immediately ran for their life. The boy stood by and watched them leave. Once they were almost out of his sight, he blinked and rubbed his eyes. It wasn't easy holding up his quirk for so long.
"Onii…chan?"
He heard his little twin sister's voice and gasped. The brotherly instincts in him took over before he ran to her position. She was lying on the ground, her clothes dirty and mild scratches on her face. He knelt next to her and helped her sit up.
"I'm so sorry, Yu. I went to get the ice-cream, and then –"
"It's okay. Onii-chan was just –" The six years old girl was interrupted when she felt a sensation course her body. Her brother gasped when her skin turned pure white and black. Small claws came out from her knuckles.
She frowned. "I…couldn't control myself. That girl had a scrapped knee and before I knew it…I was tempted to lick it…Now these things you suppressed are back. Sorry…"
"Don't apologize. I'm getting you to the Master Bang's dojo."
She weakly nodded.
Two hours went by before she rested in her room. She was sleeping peacefully, with no sign of her skin condition present. The latter was because her older brother was standing by the doorway with his red eyes.
"Shota…"
The boy was caught off guard and blinked. Once he did that, her skin's condition gradually manifested. The door was suddenly closed, which surprised Shota. He looked at his right and saw his master and caretaker, Bang.
"It's getting late. A man needs his rest." He said.
Shota bowed his head. "My apologies, Master Bang. But…I cannot leave my sister's side. Her condition is…"
Bang cut him off when he placed his hand on his shoulder. "I understand. You love your little sister very much, and you are concerned about her. But…using your quirk to suppress her quirk will only stop the inevitable."
"So…are you saying I should leave her…like our parents?"
"Of course not." Bang removed his hand. "I am only saying you shouldn't stress yourself. You and your sister need to learn self-control. It is only then that the both of you can live happy lives."
"But…"
He paused before he could finish. He felt a lump at his throat that prevented him from protesting. Bang picked up on what he wanted to say, and stroked his chin.
"Ah…that's right. There was that one time she lost control here and grew wings. I have a feeling you are worried about that."
The old man then rested his hand on his shoulder and led him past the room.
"Come. Let's have some tea. I have quite the story to tell you."
PRESENT DAY
Bang's heart monitor continued to beep. His condition was stable, but he was still in a coma. Aizawa was seated at a chair right next to him. He was staring at him with an unfazed face.
'It's been so long since you told me that, master. I wish you were here to tell me what to do now.' He thought and sighed. 'I can see why you fell to the hands of the Hero Hunter. If you couldn't beat him, of course I didn't stand a chance. But…I had to protect my students.'
The battle with Garou was fresh on his mind. Aizawa had the upper-hand, but due to his limited physical abilities, he was no march for the hero hunter once he stepped up. He had no regret for what happened. A month had passed since then, and he was back on his own two feet.
"Uh…Aizawa-san."
The UA teacher turned his gaze to the man at the door. Charanko had just stepped in, and he had an urgent look on his face. Aizawa understood and stood up. He bowed to his comatose master and left the room.
Waiting for him outside was Bomb, the older brother of Bang.
"It's been a long time, Aizawa Shota. I haven't seen you for twenty years."
Aizawa bowed to him with his left palm grasping his right fist. Bomb returned the greeting and gazed at him as he stood straight. He was curious about the Pro Hero.
"How are you doing?"
"I've been fine, Master Bomb. I'm sorry for what happened with Master Bang."
"It's fine, young one – or should I call you pro hero? You're certainly not as young as you were the last time we saw each other."
"Call me what you think fits."
Bomb's face expression changed. Aizawa was certainly different from the boy he knew him years ago. He was stoic, and more humble than last time. Bomb would've been impressed if not for something beyond that. No doubt, Aizawa has gone through his own share of pain since the last time they met.
"Hmm…You're not just here for a courtesy visit, are you?"
Aizawa remained quiet. His silence answered the old man's question. "I heard Garou attacked UA and you got caught in the crossfire. Are you alright?"
"I'm fine…though it has only been a month since then. I've recovered."
"Then why have you visited? Does it have to do with your sister's re-appearance?"
"Yes, Master Bomb."
Bomb sighed. He knew it was about that subject. Like most people, he had seen the invasion on the school on television. He would've interfered if not that he was occupied with his own dojo at the time. Besides, he wasn't a professional hero; there were others who could assist.
"Quite the trouble she has caused. Hard to believe she was just a gentle girl who enjoyed being patted on the head." He said while reminiscing and stroking his long white beard. "No doubt, this is an affair between you two…unless you came here to ask for my assistance."
"No. I just need your guidance."
Bomb's hand paused on his beard. "Wise choice. The last time I accompanied someone in such a venture, he ended up in a coma."
Aizawa knew whom he was referring to. Years ago, when Garou started out as the hero hunter, Bang and Bomb joined to take him down. He was just a teenager at the time, and yet he was able to put many heroes in the hospital.
At first, they were gaining the upper-hand. Garou seemed like he was about to lose. But they did not know that they were pushing him to a corner, and made him stronger. So before they knew it, they were down for the count, and Garou walked away from the battlefield, stronger than the start of the fight.
Bomb sighed upon remembering the experience. He and Bang were put in a coma which lasted for a long. He woke up about a year ago, Bang was yet to recover.
"But I don't see what I have to say." Bomb said, uncertain about Aizawa. "Those years ago, were you not the one who put her down?"
"I…" Aizawa paused. He was obviously conflicted, even though he tried to hide it on his face. "I couldn't bear to see her like that. As a big brother, I acted in what I believed was the right choice. But now…now I see that I failed her. If I had reacted smarter, she wouldn't be a part of the Monster Association."
"I see." Bomb understood. "Then you should do what comes rationally. I've trained some professional heroes whose quirks wasn't enough for them. One thing I've noticed from some of them is their incentive to bring justice. But do they know what the term 'justice' truly means? Is it simply to bring peace to society, and if so, how can they do it? Justice and peace can be used interchangeable. But at the end of the day, it depends on one's point of view. "
Aizawa gave it a thought. Charanko was standing by, confused by the vague lesson. It clicked on to Aizawa on what he had to do. He bowed respectfully to the old master.
"I understand now. Thank you."
"You're welcome." He then rested his hand on his shoulder. "Now go look for her. This is a family affair that only you can settle."
Aizawa nodded and walked away. Bomb and Charanko watched his retreating back before the young man asked the old man.
"What was that about?"
"An advise." Bomb smiled.
Yu's apartment had a visitor. He knocked on the door twice, before it was opened by one of the occupants inside. Genos, in an apron, was met by the sight of All Might.
"Genos. Good to see you. Is Mount Lady inside?" He asked.
Genos was about to reply, but was interrupted. Yu called from the kitchen.
"Genos. Who is that?"
"All Might."
"Oh! Let me in! I'm just boiling the water like you told me to!"
"Hai!" Genos nodded.
He stepped aside and allowed the pro hero inside. All Might thanked him and took a seat by a long couch. A minute later and Yu joined him at the living room with Genos. She sat across him with Genos standing by.
"You know, if it was any other day before we met, I would've been so excited to have you in my apartment. Sorry if that sounded weird to say. I just can't imagine having you seated in my apartment." She chuckled nervously.
"You're fine, Mount Lady. I –"
"Takeyama."
"Huh?"
"Call me Takeyama. I'm not in my hero costume right now."
"I see. Then call me Toshinori."
Yu was startled by itand wanted to protest. Seeing the genuine look on his face changed her mind.
"T-Then I will call you that." She blushed.
"Thank you."
Just then the mood shifted as All Might went to the point of his visit.
"So…how has he been?" He questioned.
Yu frowned and faced a door at the other side of the room. "He still hasn't come out since that day."
"I cannot blame him. Seeing his best friend die just like that must've been painful." All Might then stuttered when he met face with Yu. "I mean…for him. Psykos was your best friend too."
"I understand. But…I just wish he would talk to me. Doesn't he know how much this hurts too?"
Yu was on the verge of crying when she used her hands to wipe the tears. All Might had some understanding of her pain. He lost someone dear to him too, which reminded him of the very night when evil Psykos was last seen.
All Might's feet staggered as he tried to stand up. Tatsumaki's massive psychic attack affected him greatly and made it troubling for him to remain in his All Might form. He was just about to give in, only to stop himself when he heard Psykos speaking, and then his eyes widened.
'Impossible…Tatsumaki is…master's daughter!' He thought.
Now it began to make sense. Good Psykos was hesitant to inform him about Tatsumaki's parentage because she knew the full detail behind the esper. All Might barely had enough chance to turn when Monster Psykos flew out of the hole and looked down at them.
"I must get going now, children! It would be a pain if the One Punch Man catches up to me! But don't worry! We shall see again when the time comes!"
"Hey! Wait!" Izuku cried out, but was ignored. Monster Psykos spread her wings and took off to the distance.
Everything became quiet for a moment before Izuku snapped out of his gaze at the retreating esper. He looked down at the hole and quickly jumped down to meet with Tatsumaki. His feet skidded all the way until he reached her.
"Tatsumaki! Tatsuma –"
As he reached his hand to her shoulder, she shrugged it off without looking back. Her body was encased by a green aura before she flew off to a different direction. All Might watched her leave and attempted to follow her. He groaned and fell on one knee while holding on to an unconscious Fubuki.
'Just what is going on?' He wondered.
Neither the Pro Hero nor Izuku had heard from Tatsumaki. Fubuki was staying with Izuku at a hotel while their apartment was going through some construction work. But that barely eased his mind as he was always faced by the same questions.
'Just how was master able to have those two as her daughters?'
"Hey! Hey!"
All Might heard clicking and snapped out of his daze. Yu had been trying to call him while snapping her fingers at his direction. The Pro Hero was ashamed of it, but chose not to focus on it.
"Sorry, but I must be going now. Thank you for having me." He said, and with that he turned away to leave.
"Wait!" Yu shouted as she got up from her chair and went for the No. 1 Pro Hero. "Why are you leaving? Do you know something about Saitama's condition?"
All Might was at the door when he looked over his shoulder. "No. But if there is, I will let you know. Please…continue to look after him. Saitama has been through quite a lot since he became a loner. I should know…I was one of the few company he had."
"Um…okay."
Yu made no incentive to stop the muscular hero from leaving. But she was feeling guilt and saddened for her best friend, and couldn't help but look at his door.
"Saitama…Please get better." She muttered and let one streak of tears to roll down her cheek.
"I've got to say, I'm pretty happy you called. And here I thought you were trying to avoid me, 'Aizawa-sensei'."
She added the title with a funny giggle as she approached him. Aizawa knew who it was since he had asked for her. An old and friend of his and a fellow Pro Hero, Ms. Joke stood next to him, overlooking the city from the rooftop they were standing on.
"So, I'm guessing you didn't call me just to hangout." Ms. Joke said with her arms crossed under her chest.
Aizawa went straight to the point.
"You saw the news, when UA was invaded. I want to track down my sister, and…"
"And?" Ms. Joke raised her eyebrow at him.
Aizawa never gave the answer. She expected such from him, but found his demeanor colder than usual. Of course, she didn't take it as offensive. Aizawa was speaking about an evil family member, and though she hadn't heard about her until that day, she respected his privacy on this matter.
"Fine. I won't push you about it. But do you mind answering one thing? Why didn't you just have your pals at UA assist you?"
Ms. Joke wasn't keen with UA very well. She wasn't jealous, but she didn't like the prestigious route the popular school for upcoming heroes had taken.
"That was two questions."
"Was it? My bad." She smiled sheepishly.
Aizawa sighed and dug his hands into his pocket. "I could've asked Present Mic to assist me, but…this is a personal matter. UA is part of my job as a hero. I want to deal with this in my own way."
"Oh? And what way would that be?"
Aizawa became mute, and turned his dried eyes at her. Ms. Joke was able to understand, and smile about it.
"I see now. But I've got to say, this isn't like you…At least, not for a long time."
"So will you help me?"
She grinned toothily at him. "Of course! And it just so happen, I know where your sister is at!"
Aizawa's eyes widened, before returning to its normal composure. "No offense, but…how do you know this?"
Ms. Joke brought out her smartphone and showed him.
"You really need to check the headlines more often."
On the screen was a headline which read "Mosquito Girl challenges any hero to the death" , and just below it was the article.
Somewhere in a different city, a kid was having it rough with his middleschool teammates. They were playing baseball, when something unexpected happened. The kid being beaten up on the ground was the cause. As for the kids, they didn't like him one bit.
"Do yourself a favor and just quit!" The leader yelled.
He then spit down on the kid while his friends laughed. The kid made no attempt to look up at them. He allowed the saliva to slide down his cheek. The other kids kept laughing until they left him alone.
He remained quiet, to the point that he didn't notice someone approach him until she spoke.
"How pitiful…"
A humanoid shadow was casted on him. When he looked up, he saw a beautiful woman with red lips, white hair, and brown eyes. She was wearing a big white winter coat, with baggy trousers. The kid wasn't the least intimidated by her. If anything, he felt ashamed to be in a pitiful state in front of her.
"I…I'll just be leaving!" He shouted, and shot back to his feet.
He ran while bowing his head. He felt embarrassed from what had happened. All he wanted was to get away as far away as he could and cry. However, he hit something and fell to the ground on his butt.
"I never said you could leave."
The kid recognized the voice, and looked up. It was the same woman, but when she removed the coat on her, and tore the pants, his eyes widened, before fear crossed his face and body. She was none other than Mosquito Girl, except her face resembled that of a human.
"I hate human clothes, and this face." She said while caressing her face. She then licked her lips as her face's color changed to the usual pale white and black. "But it does make me feel excited to corner a prey." She grinned.
"A-A prey…?"
It then dawned on him that he was the prey. Sweat began to race down his face. His life began to flash before his eyes, before a saddened smile formed on his face.
"So…this is where my life ends huh…Well, I guess it was for the best…"
Mosquito Girl stretched her hand out to strike him down with her claws. The kid couldn't bear to watch his death. He contemplated and closed his eyes.
"My parents are gone…My uncle and aunty hate my existence…Now that I think about it, why did I…even bother?"
He waited for his end, but it never came. When he peeked to see what his would-be murderer was doing, he saw her just glaring down at him with her hand by at her side.
"You're not going to kill me?" He asked.
"I decide what I'm going to kill." She stated, and went past him.
The kid watched her walk over to a bat and baseball on the ground. She picked it up with her claws and examined the ball with her eyes. The kid could've used the chance to run away; however, he simply drew close, but cautious to keep his distance.
"Most people would think twice approaching me, kid. You're literally the dumbest kid I've seen." She said.
"Heh…That's a new one. Most people just call me a freak."
Mosquito Girl looked over her shoulder, curious at the nickname for him.
"Think fast!" She shouted.
The kid was barely able to the bat thrown at him. He fumbled with it in his grasp before getting a good grip at it. Before he could inquire about her intention, she threw the ball at him with her super strength. The kid was able to swing it away, but at the cost of stumbling back and his bat breaking in half.
"You don't have enhanced reflexes, or any psychical enhancement."
"Huh? You thought that was my quirk?"
Mosquito Girl was perplexed. He seemed calm now.
"Is that not your quirk?" She asked.
The kid smiled halfheartedly. "I wish…No, I'm nothing more than a freak with a quirk. I take away something precious to a person."
"And what's that?"
"Life?"
Now Mosquito Girl was further intrigued. "I hadn't noticed when I was watching you."
"What?"
Maybe it was because of his depression, but he hadn't heard her well.
"Never mind. Not important." Mosquito Girl replied and approached him. "I kind of want to see this quirk in action."
The kid became scared and took a few scared steps back. "Are you crazy? I don't want to kill anyone! You'll die, you know!"
"Oh?" Mosquito Girl tilted her head with a devilish smile. "You're concerned about me? I hope you know I haven't ruled out drinking your blood."
"I…I know, and I'm fine with it. All I ever do is hurt others…In a way…maybe I'm just a monster…like you. That's one other thing they call me."
Mosquito Girl's eyes widened. She had a flashback to when she was a kid again with her brother. As they were watching on a sidewalk, the people there kept their distance from them, with some of them disgustingly glaring at her.
"Monster…" muttered one man.
Young Aizawa pulled her close to him and covered her ears to block out the names. It did little however, as she could still hear them calling her names.
Back at the present, she smirked and approached the kid. He took a step back before the fear overtook him and he turned around to run away. Mosquito Girl grabbed him by hand and threw him to the ground.
"Please! Don't make me use it! I…I don't want to use it!" He cried.
"Ah…I don't really know what to do with you. On one hand I'm hungry, and yet…my stomach hurts just thinking about taking your blood. You remind me so much of myself."
"I…What? I don't understand."
Mosquito Girl huffed and gazed at the blue eyes. "I've come a long way to becoming a monster. Trust me, you're nowhere as a monster like I am."
"You…You don't know that." The kid muttered with a depressed voice, and stared at the ground. "My mother…she died at childbirth because of my quirk. My father…he disowned me after having to bear with my existence. My uncle and aunt only took me because the police didn't want to arrest a kid like me…I have no one to rely on."
"Good."
The kid looked up at her. "You're…not making a lot of sense."
"I do. You just don't know it yet. I have a brother. He's a…nameless pro hero in the eyes of the public. I used to rely on him like any little sister would…Until today I can't get that bitter taste in my mouth. I trusted him, and in the end…he tossed me aside without a second thought."
"Oh…I'm sorry."
"Don't be."
Mosquito Girl surprised him when she laughed hysterically. She licked the air with her long tongue and smirked. "Rest assured, I'll have him pay for what he did. We'll be together again…inside me."
"You're weird."
The kid suddenly laughed with a childish smile on his face. Mosquito Girl snapped out of her moment and picked him up from the ground by his shirt.
"What's so funny, kid?! I can drink your blood right here and now!"
"So….Sorry!" He apologized.
Mosquito Girl continued to glare at him until she gave up with a sigh. She released her grip on him and allowed him to fall to the ground on his butt. The kid yelped and was about to rub the pain area. Mosquito Girl interrupted him with a straight face.
"Before you get the wrong idea, let me tell you this, kid. Monsters are creatures you should never cross. To them, humans are nothing but playthings. We kill because it's in our blood, and our nature. Anyone who doesn't have that…is no monster."
The kid fell silent, however the awestruck look in his eyes slowly appeared. He couldn't help but admire those words by her. In a way, he understood what she was implying. No one had talked to him so well without cursing him.
"You're not a monster, so don't go around making yourself as one." Mosquito Girl then ended it. "You're human. That's all you are."
"I'm…human?"
He was taken aback when he felt water on his cheeks. He touched them, only to them realize that he was crying. Those words had hit him hard and reminded me of something he long thought was gone.
Mosquito Girl didn't seem to mind. She kept the straight face as he kept crying. The more he tried to hold back the tears, the more the tears came rushing down.
It took about ten minutes before he calmed down. He was back on his feet with a grateful smile on his face.
"Thank you…for the advice. Um…my name is Kato."
She scoffed and opened her wings. "Don't act like we're suddenly buddies, kid! I'm a monster, and that's all there is! So consider yourself lucky that I'm letting you live!"
With that, she flew off from the ground, and went her own way in the air. Kato gazed at her retreating figure. Even the way she flew amazed him. But the smile on his face dropped when he saw her gone. He was about to put his head down, when he then noticed a silhouette flying her way.
Mosquito Girl screamed in pain as she was struck by two unknown shots. She crashed landed back in the park. She groaned and attempted to use her arms to stand up. It was in that moment her assailant stomped down on the ground, creating a dust cloud around him.
"Looks like I was able to find you, monster. To be fair, I had a little doubt that you would wonder back to the very town you grew up as a human. I guess monsters really can be full of surprises." He said.
Mosquito Girl snarled as she returned back to her feet. The dust cloud covering the pro-hero lifted, and revealed the No. 4 Pro Hero, Wings, standing.
"This is the part where you're supposed to surrender." He said.
Mosquito Girl laughed. Wings was unfazed by it, and watched as she readied her wings for flight.
"Idiot! You heroes really are full of yourselves!" She shouted.
Wings was unmoved by her outburst. "Hmph! Well at least I'm not the one who put up a challenge for every hero to take on!"
"What?! I didn't –"
Mosquito was interrupted before she could finish. Wings lunged at her with a long feather in his right hand. She was able to defend herself with her long claw, which caused both of them to clash. But then she was kicked at the stomach with so hard that she skidded back.
"That's some dirty move you pulled!" Mosquito Girl yelled, and grinned. "But don't worry! I have plenty up my sleeve!"
"You have nothing…but your inevitable defeat!"
Mosquito Girl licked her lips. She couldn't wait to have a taste of his blood.
The battle began, with Mosquito Girl having the upper-hand. Wings was flying back as she gave chase with a snickering grin on her face.
From above, the view was hard to see, as the trees covered most of the battle. But loud clashes created audible booms, as the combatants moved from one spot to another, causing the trees to explode and dust clouds to shoot up to the air.
On the ground, Wings skidded on the ground, with his arms defending his chest. In his hands were his feather-blade, which he used more than once to defend against the female monster. He saw her in view, and prepared for the worse.
He and Mosquito Girl refused to move from that one spot. Feathers vs long claws, they slash and clash against each other, until finally a simultaneous slash from both sides sent them apart from each other. Meanwhile, the trees around them were sliced into pieces.
Mosquito Girl wasn't done. She leapt at him with a hungry face. "What's the matter, pretty boy?! Aren't you supposed to be a top pro hero?!"
"So…that's how it is."
"Huh?"
Wings crossed his arms over his chest again. At the same time, he extended his wings and unleashed a mighty wind. Mosquito Girl was taken aback by the attack, and was pushed back. She was about to regain her slight, however Wings beat her to it when he stabbed her in the stomach.
"GUH!" She grunted.
Blood spat out of her mouth. She snarled and attempted to cut him with her claws. However, the pro hero became aware, and pulled back. He landed on the ground and flapped his mighty wings at her against. This time, several feathers were sent flying her way.
"Shit!"
Mosquito Girl's eyes widened, and attempted to maneuver through them. She failed, and cried out in pain as she was cut from all over her body. No part of her besides her wings were spared from his onslaught.
She thought of an escape, before taking off to the air. She was bleeding, to the point that she wasn't flying as fast as she wanted.
"What the bloody hell was that? I barely made it out alive." She said and winced as the air brushed against her open wounds.
"I never said you could leave."
"Huh?"
Wings' silhouette was at the direction of the sun. With both feather-blades in his hands, he came right at her in Mach speed, and slashed her chest. A huge gash in the shape of an X was created, and she cried out in bitter pain as she plummet back to the woods.
Every part of her body was hurting more than before. Along with the woods, she was feeling sore from the impact as she lay in a crater from her own fall.
"Dammit…I…I have to collect blood." She muttered as she struggled to get on her arms and knees. "I can't…let it end here…I will…I have to kill him. Onii-chan, I will kill -"
"I won't let you."
Mosquito Girl barely made it away in time. She pushed herself out of the way before Wings could stomp on her. The impact from his landing sent a strong dust cloud that pushed her back. She had to shield her eyes with her wrist against the dirt flying everywhere.
Just then, Wings' hand was in her view. He grabbed her by the face, and with a strong flap of his wings, he slammed her against a tree, which became the first of many to fall. Wings rammed her against other trees.
He released her after a short while, and flew back. Before she could recover, he landed on the ground, and sent several feathers flying against her. Mosquito Girl was barely able to stop her unfinished motion when she tried deflecting the feathers away.
She received more damages at her chest, stomach, with a loud painful scream when her left arm was cut clean. One feather stabbed her so bad that it held her to a tree, where she spat out more, before two feathers pinned her legs.
The Pro-Hero folded his wings and approached her. Mosquito Girl was in constant pain, with so much blood coating her body and the feathers pinning her to the tree. She snarled when she saw him stand in front her.
"BASTARD! YOU WERE HOLDING BACK! IS THIS SOME KIND OF SICK GAME TO YOU?!" She yelled.
Wings was unfazed by her bloody lips, and glaring eyes. He also wasn't smiling,
"I held back because I assumed you or your master might have some trick. The last encounter humiliated. I couldn't believe a genius like myself fell for a trap like that. Worse of all, she broke my wings like they were nothing. There's nothing more I want than to track her down and kill her myself."
"Pfft! HAHAHAHAHA!"
"What's so funny?" Behind his calm tone, there was a snarl hinted.
"You! You're no threat to Psykos-sama! You should count yourself lucky to survive with just two pathetic broken wings!"
Before Wings to say anything, he heard footsteps, and looked around him. Five pro-heroes made it to the scene. He didn't recognize any of their faces. Their costumes were more than enough to identify their occupation.
"We heard the commotion!" Pro-Hero Glasses stated upon approach.
The heroes were in full view in front of Mosquito Girl. Death Gatling seemed disappointed. He had hoped to run into Mosquito Girl with the other pro heroes in order to take her down. But since they took late, they could only watch as Wings made a fake yawn and spread his wings to leave.
"I'll leave the clean-up to you. Make sure she's apprehended correctly." He said.
"Eh?! You're leaving!?" Mosquito Girl was shocked. "Bastard! Finish what you started! I swear I'll gut you like the bird you are!"
Wings looked over his shoulder, and huffed. He then took off to the skies, leaving her and the other heroes behind. Mosquito Girl opened her mouth to say something. She wanted nothing more than to bark at his cowardice. But her mouth wouldn't move, and soon she found her vision blacking out.
'Shit…I'm losing so much blood that…I'm blacking out…' She thought.
She tried fighting back, only to fail. The last thing she saw were the pro-heroes gathering around her. Her eyelids then closed, and her head slumped forward.
Upon opening her eyes again, she found her environment entirely different. A staircase was by her side, meanwhile she was sitting up from the ground. Her middleschool uniform was a mess, and she had sustained a few cuts on her legs.
'Huh? Where am I?'
She remembered and sighed depressingly. As she tried to stand up, she winced and looked down at her legs. Her bruises were yet to heal. The last thing she remembered was that someone pushed her down the stairs.
She paid it no real thought. This was just one of many ways her schoolmates tried to kill her without getting caught.
'Why am I even alive right now?' She thought.
A bit of her wished she had died from the fall. She shook the feeling off and picked her books, before holding them to her chest.
"Yu!"
"Oh, Onii-chan, you're here."
She didn't sound happy to see him. If anything, she wished he didn't see her in the state she was in. As he climbed up the stairs, she turned her back at him and shrugged his approaching hand on her shoulder.
"Just…leave me alone. I just fell. That's all." She said.
"That's a lie, and you know it." Aizawa retorted, and walked to her front. She refused to face him, though. "Please, Yu. Tell me who did it. I can help you."
Yu opened her mouth to say something. But she hesitated and turned her head away from him.
"I cannot…You'll just get in trouble with the teachers again."
"Yu, I –"
He tried to grab her, but she ran away before he could. Again, he called her name, only to be ignored. His little sister was on the verge of tears. She couldn't bring herself to face him.
She ran past a male teacher. He turned back to see her retreating figure, before facing Shota. The teen had a frown on his face, as he stared at utter nothingness. The teacher went to him and patted him on the shoulder.
"You did your best. But it's clear as day that she doesn't belong her, Shota-kun."
Aizawa snubbed her and ran to the direction his sister went. The teacher watched him leave until he was gone. He huffed and smirked a little before fixing his glasses.
'Don't worry, Aizawa Yu. There is always room…in the House of Evolution.'
With that thought, Dr. Genus headed up the stairs. It will only be a few days before he will have her, Aizawa Yu, reborn as his newest experiment, Mosquito Girl.
AAAAAND THAT'S WHERE I'M LEAVING THIS CHAPTER.
I would've liked to write more, but the flashback will be longer. This might even become a three-part arc for her. The reason for this shift is because Yu and Aizawa will have their own important roles in the USJ arc. So think of this as that three-part arc I made about Saitama's past in UA.
I'm still not sure if this will be a two-part or three-part arc yet. Even though I have this planned out, I tend to add some things here (like this chapter's ending. It wasn't the original).
Now to answer one question brought up by Diavolo. Yes, I like your idea, and I will make it happen. Captain Mizuki will be Kirishima's older sister. And for those who don't know, she's the third main female character (besides Tatsumaki and Fubuki) in One Punch Man. Google her name to know more about her. She'll make her debut in season 3.
As for the fan-comic, I've decided to put it back to next year. This is because I'm channeling my finances to improving my YouTube channel at the moment. I will still see to having a poster for this comic commissioned and done on January.
Thank you for reading this. See you in the next chapter.
