Chapter 30

Ash and his friends take the Taxi back to the Stow-on-side, and much to their surprise, they see that Bea and Allister are talking to Delia in front of the stadium.

"Hey, it's Brother." Allister says as they notice them.

"You're right. Hey guys." Bea says.

"What are you guys doing here?" Ash asks.

"We are going to Glimwood Town so we can get our ninth badge." Gloria says.

"So you even beat Benjamin? How is the space?" Delia asks.

"The experience is very unique." Ash replies. "So if we want to go to the Glimwood Town, we have to go through the Glimwood Tangle?"

"Yeah. It is very dark..." Allister says with a spooky voice, causing the girls to get shiver. Bea sighs, "It sure is dark, don't worry, it has a lot of special Pokemon in the forest as well. Since we are on our way to visit Grandma Opal, why don't we go together?"

"But what about your gyms?" Lillie asks.

"That is really taken care of, you see, since Kabu, almost no one would ever make this far except you three and some of them." Allister says.

"I see." Ash says as they go into the forest.

Inside the Glimwood Tangle, all they can see are glowing mushrooms and also dim of light through the place. Alice says, "It sure is dark, but it is beautiful..."

"I agree. It is really great." Marnie says.

Lillie sees a Shiinotic and she says, "Here is a Shiinotic, you know, it makes me remember what Ash did back in Alola."

"What did he do?" Dawn asks.

Ash sighs, "You mean back at the time when Morelull tries to suck or life energy, and I let it suck mine while at the same time I eat curry to recover mine."

"That is really an odd thing that you did." Serena says.

"Indeed. I am glad you are still here." Bea agrees.

Lillie captures the Shiinotic with the help of Koffing, with the Type Advantage, Koffing defeats Shiinotic and it also starts to evolve. But after the glow ends, the Pokemon appears in front of them looks very different.

"Is that a Weezing?" Dawn is confused. "Does that mean Weezing has Galarian Forms?"

"You're right. Wow...it has two chimneys on top of its body." Ash says. "And it produces clean air as well."

Weezing Galarian Form: The Poison Gas Pokemon: Poison and Fairy Type. Evolved from Koffing at LV:35. This Pokémon consumes particles that contaminate the air. Instead of leaving droppings, it expels clean air.

"I see..." Alice says, "You sure have a nice Pokemon, Lillie."

"I know." Lillie says.

Just then, they hear a neighing noise, and they also see a Pokemon that clearly catch their eyes. "It's a Ponyta..." Alice gasps.

"It looks so beautiful..." Gloria says.

"Indeed. Ponyta are really wonderful." Delia says.

The Ponyta nuzzles at Alice and it wants to go with her, so Alice decides to add it to her party.

Ponyta Galarian Form: The Unique Horn Pokemon: Psychic Type. Its small horn hides a healing power. With a few rubs from this Pokémon's horn, any slight wound you have will be healed.

"I see." As Alice takes out Drizzile to test it out, not only its wound is healed, it also starts to glow as it is evolving.

"Looks like it is evolving." Delia says as Alice scans the new Pokemon.

Inteleon: The Secret Agent Pokemon: Water Type. Evolved from Drizzile at LV:35. It has many hidden capabilities, such as fingertips that can shoot water and a membrane on its back that it can use to glide through the air.

"So it is a secret agent, huh? It is so cool."

"I know." Ash says.

The next Pokemon they find is the Phantump, but it is a shiny one that catches Ash's eyes. Ash uses Thwackey to battle. In the end, Ash captures the Phantump and also evolves his Thwackey.

Rillaboom: The Drummer Pokemon: Grass Type. Evolved from Thwackey at LV:35. By drumming, it taps into the power of its special tree stump. The roots of the stump follow its direction in battle.

"Wow, so it is a musician." Dawn says.

"Yeah." Ash says.

Then Gloria notices a Pokemon that looks like a Tea Cup, she scans the Pokemon immediately.

Sinistea: The Black Tea Pokemon: Ghost Type. This Pokémon is said to have been born when a lonely spirit possessed a cold, leftover cup of tea.

"What a surprise." Gloria says as he takes out the Pokeball and captures the Pokemon. Then she also train up as she evolves her Trubbish into Garbodor, her Joltik also evolves into Galvantula.

Lillie and Ash also work together to capture each an Oranguru and a Passimian, the two Pokemon they are really familiar with in Alola. And Lillie tells them how Ash disguises as a Passimian to help the other Passimian, only to become the king of their pack, causing them to laugh out loud.

As for Serena, Marnie and Dawn, they didn't capture any new Pokemon but they manage to evolve some of their Pokemon. Serena's Tranpich evolves into Vibrava, Pancham evolves into Pangoro, Dawn's Stunky evolves into Skuntank and her Hippopotas evolves into Hippowdon.

"Hey, Ash. There are Indeedee." Gloria says.

Ash and Gloria decide to uses their Raboot to battle the male and female Indeedee. And in the end, the two Pokemon evolve and defeat the two Pokemon, thus letting them capture them.

Cinderace: The Striker Pokemon: Fire Type. Evolved from Raboot at LV:35. It juggles a pebble with its feet, turning it into a burning soccer ball. Its shots strike opponents hard and leave them scorched.

Indeedee: The Emotion Pokemon: Psychic and Normal Type. Male: It uses the horns on its head to sense the emotions of others. Males will act as valets for those they serve, looking after their every need. Female: They diligently serve people and Pokémon so they can gather feelings of gratitude. The females are particularly good at babysitting.

"Wow, different genders of Indeedee have different entries." Ash says to Rotom as he says, "Of course, my duty is to get all the different entries of the same Pokemon."

And Ash also trains up his old Pokemon, and then his Corphish evolves into Crawdaunt and Palpitoad evolves into Seismitoad.

After they finally reach the Glimwood Town, Bea says, "I almost forget, you haven't get these League Cards for Shelia? I have some."

After giving each a League Card, Ash reads the entry and says, "What? She was from a hunter family?"

Gloria says, "Not to mention, she prefers art rather than illegal hunting, so that her parents disowned her. And thanks to Ms. Ketchum that she is saved and adopted..."

Delia says, "Indeed. As for her real family, they are arrested for hunting and they can't hurt others anymore."

"I see." Ash says.

Just then, Serena sees that her Linoone is glowing and she says, "Wait, Linoone is the final form, right? Why is he glowing?"

Alice says, "No way, does that mean..."

After the glow ends, it turns out to be a giant Pokemon and Marnie says, "Obstagoon..."

Obstagoon: The Blocking Pokemon: Dark and Normal Type. Evolved from Linoone at LV:35 at night. Its voice is staggering in volume. Obstagoon has a tendency to take on a threatening posture and shout—this move is known as Obstruct.

"So it is night time?" Dawn says, "Since this place is dark, it is hard to know."

"I know. But we should stay at Shelia's house so you can take part in the gym tomorrow." Delia says.

When they arrive at the house, Shelia opens it and she says, "Mom? Bea? Allister? What's going on?"

"Hey, Shelia. We are on our way to Grandaunt's house, but Brother is competing the Gym Challenge and you're the next, so is it possible that we stay here?"

"Of course. I always wanted to meet brother." Shelia says as they finally meet. Then they go inside the house for some rest.

Here is a new chapter, and in the next episode Ash will face Shelia for the ninth badge. I hope you like it. And I am really excited to see what will happen in the future of the DLC.
