"Fire dragon roar!" Mortis's fire destroyed half the building, trapping the rest of the bandits. "You think it's funny stealing off old ladies and kids huh?" Gray asked, placing his foot down hard on an injured bandit. "This isn't over" the bandit threatened. Gray smirked, amused by his comment.

"We need to get out now!" Erza shouted. Rubble started falling above them. The ceiling had started to crack. "Everyone move, now!" Mortis shouted. The team ran out of the building and back up the path. When they felt they were safe, they turned back to watch the smoke rise as the building collapse. "Well either the knights will thank us for trapping most of the bandits or yell at the master for destroying another building" Mortis said. "It was abandoned for years, I doubt they will" Happy said, flying on Mortis's shoulder. "Should we head back home?" Gray asked, ready to sleep for years.

"Well I was thinking we could stay at that local spa" Erza said. "We passed it on the way up here. We have a spare night, why not treat ourselves for a change." The group all looked at each other and agreed.

When night fell, Mortis slipped into the large bath. She felt the warmth compliment her slayer body heat. She took a deep breath and plunged fully underwater. She felt all the dirt, sweat and rubble leave her body and when she resurfaced, she felt refreshed. "I haven't felt this relaxed in years" she mumbled. "It is quite remarkable I must say" Erza said standing up, letting the water slip between her armour.

"You love your armour, don't you?" she asked. She already knew the story of why she loves her armour, but she needed a conversation started. "I do. I feel myself in this particular armour. Like you and your scarf" she smiled, sitting back down. Mortis nodded. "Do you wear the scarf for the same reason as Natsu?" she asked. Mortis nodded and said "and also to cover up my ice training scars." "It's brave to admit that you know?" Erza smiled. "I'm over what happened, but still angry with Lyon, I guess."

After everyone soaked, they were all in kimonos and in their room. Mortis was led down on her mat, relaxed. She yawned as Natsu walked in with two pillows. "Alright slumber party!" he shouted. "No Natsu!" Mortis grunted, placed her pillow over her head. "Come on party pooper!"

"Shut up flame brain, I'm trying to sleep" Gray shouted. "Come on. We're all together let enjoy it!" Natsu moaned. Gray sat up to argue but ended up having a pillow thrown at his face. Mortis covered her mouth laughing. "You are dead" Gray grunted. He looked to his side to see a pile of pillow next to him. "Oh, look at all these pillows I have here" he smiled. Mortis looked back in realization that Juvia was nearby. She was difficult to smell as her body was made of water. "You guys have fun!" she shouted. But they were deep in their pillow fight. Mortis walked out to try and find Juvia to say hello. She would be joining the guild soon, so she thought she would go say hello and try to let her know, that she felt no grudge against her.

She struggled to find and started to walk down the path. Maybe she legged it when she saw her walking out to find her. Did she know about her and Gray? She wondered how she would react when she and Gray finally tell the guild. She will take it badly, but Mortis had no intention of rubbing it in her face. She wanted a friendship with her. She seemed like an amazing person in the anime and would love to get along with her. She had a feeling that maybe Juvia will look at her as her rival rather than Lucy, but that didn't bother her.

"Hey, pretty lady!" She turned around to see two blokes walking up to her. She knew who they were. The two wizards Loke would capture. One of their heads wouldn't stop spinning, while the other bloke kept staring at her weirdly.

Loke wouldn't be far away, she knew she had to keep them distracted. "What's a pretty lady doing walking all on her own?" "Can we escort you anywhere?" Mortis cringed on the inside. "Man, these dudes are creeps" she thought to herself. She decided she couldn't be bothered to wait forever for Loke. She walked up to them, smiling. "I guess you too could" she said. She had both her hands on their heads, stroking their greasy hair. The men looked surprised at the gesture.

"You loser" she laughed as she smacked their heads together. They collapsed unconscious, just as Loke turned up. "Hey, they didn't hurt you, did they?" he asked. "Loke, please. I'm a dragon slayer" she laughed. Loke took them both saying "I've been on a job to capture them and take them to the knights." He walked away as Mortis asked "do you fancy a drink? It's on me?" He looked back surprised. "Are you sure?" he asked. She nodded.

Later on, they were in the bar with the man with the incredible long forehead. Mortis looked to her side to see Loke sitting on the opposite side of the bar. "you can sit closer. I won't do anything" she reassured. Loke smiled nervously as he moved next to her. "I've heard you've had bad luck with celestial spirits on the past, but I don't think it's fair you avoid me and Lucy like the plague you know?" He nodded as he said "I know. I understand that you two aren't the same as the others."

Mortis sipped her drink as she said "I'm not even really a celestial wizard. Have you ever seen me with any gate keys?" Loke smirked and asked "did you tell me that, so I would stop flirting with you?" Mortis nodded. "I'm sorry I did that. I don't appreciate being spoken like that from men. What you do with other girls though is your own business and not for me to judge. I should have just said that to begin really."

Loke laughed and said "no it's alright. It's actually quite funny now isn't it?" Mortis smirked and said "I'm glad you see it that way. I hope we can be closer as friends Loke…" he grabbed her and pulled her in for a tight hug. "I wish we could have done it sooner" he said. "What?" she asked, confused. "The truth is, I don't have long to live" he said. Mortis closed her eyes trying to think of what to say. She knew it was true and she needed a way to react without giving away her secret. "I'm dying" he said, releasing her. She took a deep breath, spreading a fake smirk as she asked "you're joking aren't you?" Loke look shocked but plastered a fake smile too. "yeah I am sorry" he sniggered. "It's a good thing you said to me and not anyone else, you might have gotten a slap" she said.

"Yeah, thanks I won't pull that one again" he said, scratching the back of the head. "Listen it's late and I'm sure the pillow fight is over by now" she said. "Yeah, I'll see you back at the guild" he said, waving at her as he left. Mortis walked back to her room to find the others asleep. Erza smiling in her sleep, with the boys covered in bruises. She laid on her mat, staring at the ceiling. He had a day, tops. Before he vanished forever. She had to do something, and she knew it could cost her, her secret.

The following night, Mortis was in Fiore's library. She had been there since she returned earlier in the day. She read everything she could find on Celestrial spirits, mages and their contracts. She knew she could have gone to Lucy, but it would have seemed suspicious later on. She was then looking into Blue Pegasus's history books. She found the page on Karen. Mortis was felt sick on the way she treated her spirits. What she was looking for was where she was buried, all she knew was it had a round waterfall below it. She didn't know where it was. She looked up to see night had nearly completely fallen.

Her stomach flipped nervously. She couldn't be late. Not this time. She turned to the page to find a map with its location. It was three-minute run from where she was. The last thing she had to do before she could find Loke was work something out. She grabbed a paper and a quill and started writing her and Loke's name. she was trying to work out what the after situation would be if she did what she had planned. "LOKE!" she looked outside to see Cana running around trying to find him. She scrunched up the piece of paper and ran out of the library. "Hey, are you going to put the books away?!" the librarian shouted, angrily.

Mortis burned the paper in her hand and let it turn to ashes in the wind as she ran. "Come on Loke, not yet" she pleaded. She stopped when she found him by Karen's grave. She walked up slowly. "You found me then?" he asked, turning around. "It wasn't difficult. Leo" she said.

"How did you know?" he asked. "You not from this world. You're a celestial spirit. Leo the lion. You've been blamed for killing Karen when all you were doing was protecting your friend Aries" she said. She was terrified of what she was doing. She stopped when she was only a few feet away from him. "How do you know all this? I never told anyone this?" Leo asked.

"You're from the celestial world. But me? I belong to a different universe. I don't know how, but when I was thirteen I found myself falling out of the sky" she said. "I know Fairytail's past and I know it's future. I am just like you."

SHE HAS REVEALED HER SECRET! WHAT WILL LOKE DO WITH IT AND WHAT IS MORTIS PLANNING?
