Chapter 31

Play: Skyclad Observer

'This good enough?' Rain asked as he showed Jotaro and Gaara cellphones.

Jotaro nodded while Gaara looked at the cellphone curiously. Blake had mentioned that they needed a way to contact each other if they somehow got separated on Earth.

Rain smiled as he walked to the counter. They were in a marketplace that was highly secured by skilled guards. Anything that customers want would've to be brought to the counter located a few turns from where Rain is currently at.

Blake happened to be looking at keychains. She was wondering what she could buy for her friends when she finally reunite with them.

Jotaro was meanwhile sitting near a fountain and thinking about his plans.

Suddenly, someone suspicious caught his eye. The person seemed to be stalking them.

He wondered why that was the case. Nudging Gaara, he informed him.

Gaara narrowed his eyes. He decided to subtly create a third eye with sand to see what the person was trying to do.

He managed to catch a glimpse at a few documents. It seemed that he was ordered by the Overseer to follow Jotaro after his sudden act of disappearance.

The person suddenly raised his head, realising the eye floating above his head.

Gaara cursed as the stalker stared at him. The stalker had a frown as his body being bulging up.

'He's going to fight here?!' Gaara said in shock, realising that the enemy didn't care at all about the civilians.

The civilians began shrieking when they saw the stalker's sudden transformation.

Jotaro summoned Star Platinum while Gaara circled sand around him.

In a single move, the stalker neared them and swung his fist.

Gaara created a sand wall which absorbed the blow. Star Platinum began pummeling the stalker.

The punches however didn't do much as he retaliated with more strength.

Jotaro pushed Gaara to the ground as the stalker started to pummel them. Star Platinum matched his attacks and Gaara used this chance to tie the enemy's legs together.

He then created a sand fist which smacked the stalker's face.

Blake noticed what was going on and was about to help when the police appeared. They held their guns up.

Realising that they were targeting at Jotaro and Gaara as well, Blake decided to quickly knock them out. After doing so, she grabbed a gun and aimed it at the stalker.

She let out a full round but it only served to anger him.

'Grrh! No one hurts Hulk!' His body increased in size while his skin began turning a slight tint of green.

He stomped towards Blake at high speed. Blake rolled away from his powerful punch but the force pushed her away.

As he was about to deliver more blows, Gaara pulled him back and stabbed him with a sand sword. Then, Jotaro ran towards Hulk and used Star Platinum to push the sword in further.

Green blood began dropping out of Hulk but he merely grunted.

With a deafening roar, he pulled the sword out and his wound quickly regenerated.

Jotaro began thinking up a plan. Star Platinum couldn't beat Hulk in strength. He could maybe stop time, but that still wouldn't amount to anything.

In fact, he would just reveal his trump card.

Gaara stepped out and raised his hands. A huge amount of sand began floating out of his sand gourd.

It quickly surrounded Hulk and enclosed him. Gaara seemed to enter a state of concentration. His veins bulged.

However, the sand sphere began cracking and soon, the Hulk came bursting out of it. His body was now fully green and he stood towering over everyone.

'What the fuck!' Rain cursed as he finally returned.

As Hulk's attention was drawn to him, Blake used Gambol Shroud to hook Hulk's neck. Then, she pulled back with all her strength.

Star Platinum then pulled on Hulk's legs to make him fall while Gaara mustered up the strength he still had after that stunt to create a lance.

The lance pierced through Hulk's back. With another deafening roar however, Blake, Jotaro and Gaara was pushed back.

The three of them flew at such speeds that they couldn't react in time and fell unconscious.

The sand lance disappeared as Hulk stood up. His wounds, once again, recovered.

Rain placed the bag with the cellphones on the floor. After doing so, he stretched his body.

'Look. I don't know where you came from but go back...please…' Rain was sweating profusely. He didn't want to fight if possible.

Hulk merely scowled at him.

'Damn…' Reluctantly, his eyes burst with blue electricity. They travelled around his body.

'Well…' Rain muttered as electricity gathered in his hands.

He quickly flicked a coin that shot towards Hulk. It travelled fast enough that Hulk wasn't able to react and sunk into his skin.

Moments later however, the coin got pushed out. The wound then healed.

'...' Rain began flicking more coins at the speed of a machine gun.

All that was different, however, was that Hulk had more holes in his body. And those holes soon healed as well.

Rain rubbed his temples in irritation. Hulk decided he had enough as he jumped towards Rain with a body slam.

Rain sidestepped and flashed a grin, causing Hulk to be pissed off.

He then put his hands together.

'Flash Valley!' Bolts of electricity launched from his hands. Rather than going for Hulk however, they travelled to his unconscious allies.

He shocked the three of them up.

'Wha!' Blake groaned as she rubbed her eyes. Looking at the sight before her, she remembered.

'Rain!'

'HELP ME!' Rain screamed. Blake created various clones made from different sorts of Dust.

They jumped on Hulk and exploded. He became encased in fire, ice, water etcetera.

Gaara quickly created a few daggers and stabbed them into Hulk.

Understanding that he had no choice, Jotaro closed in on Hulk and roared.

'STAR PLATINUM!'

Time stopped once again and using this moment, Star Platinum pummeled the openings made from Gaara's daggers.

Star Platinum punched so fast the moment seemed like an eternity.

When time finally resumed, Hulk roared out in pain.

Not knowing what was going on but noticing the big hole in Hulk's chest, Rain used his last coin.

'RAILGUN!' He yelled(trying to be cool like Jotaro) as he flicked the coin.

The coin lodged itself into Hulk's chest. Hulk fell to his knees and seemingly realising his body couldn't keep up, he stomped the ground.

This disoriented everyone and gave Hulk a chance to escape.

Rain sat down on the floor and relaxed.

'Man...what was with that unexpected event?' He laughed bitterly.

Jotaro and Gaara approached Rain with fierce looks.

'Eh?'

'Who are you?' They both asked simultaneously.

It turns out that they both recognised Rain's activation circle and claimed that the Overseer had them too.

Blake cut in and explained the entire situation to the two of them.

Thus, they ended up with a conclusion. That the Overseer was similar to Rain. A test subject.

'Well, should we get going...I mean we kinda need to...Blake literally knocked out police officers...and opened fire without permission…' Rain gloomily said.

Blake whistled as she looked away.

'So, we are fucked if the reinforcements come?' Jotaro questioned. Rain nodded.

'Then, let's go.' Gaara suggested. They nodded as they headed off to the location. By the way, the location they were headed to is a special facility that holds the elevator to the ground floor below.

Of course, there is a lot of security there. But that's irrelevant when you can just shut the entirely facility down with electrokinesis.

Radio Town

The fights have finally concluded.

The winners were Subaru, Kazuma, and Naruto. Subaru really lucked out with getting Aqua as his final opponent.

How did Aqua even beat her first opponent? No one knows.

Kazuma fought Darkness in his second round and won by using Drain Touch. Why did he do that? Well, Megumin promised him a kiss if he wins...so he went in and won. Though this ended up with him being forced to be part of the team.

The team departed a day later after the tournament.

'So...how do we search for them?' Subaru asked.

Kakashi performed hand seals and summoned dogs. After conversing with them, the dogs followed the scent of Sasuke and the group followed.

'Dogs can talk...what?' Kazuma was mind-blown.

The team had carried on at a decent pace because each time anyone fell behind, Kazuma would use Drain Touch to suck Naruto's near-infinite stamina and either transfer it to the needy or use it on himself.

A few hours later, they arrived at the base of the Akatsuki.

An abandoned building

DIO was sucking the blood of a victim when a shadow walked in.

'Have you come with more offerings to your lord?' DIO asked.

The shadow smirked.

'Sure.' He threw five people on the ground.

'Hmm…' DIO looked at the victims offered to him.

'Where do you get them? There isn't anyone I can see around. Besides from that group I murdered.' DIO questioned.

'Trade secret.' The shadow replied. DIO looked irritated.

'Aw. Don't be so mad. Your favourite victim is here.' DIO perked up upon hearing the shadow's words.

'Them?' The shadow nodded.

DIO burst into laughter.

'It is time, for I DIO, to become the true lord of this world!'
