A/N: Wow, long time no see everyone! So, I've had this chapter literally on my pc done for…2 years? So I thought well let's post it finally and get started on finishing this fic! I've already plotted out the next 5-ish chapters to the end so without further ado- LLMG is back!

I must say, I really admired Syaoran for being so forthcoming about Tsukishiro-san tagging along on his first ever date with Sakura. Sakura said the same thing. I think him being so accommodating on their date really won her over. As if she wasn't head over heels already! Really that boy knows how to treat a girl. Even I'm a little jealous.

***More than meets the eye****

***Sakura***

"Here Sakura-chan, Li-kun." Yukito-san handed me a warm chocolate, strawberry and banana crepe.

"Thank you Yukito-san, you really didn't have to do this." I stated as he went to give Syaoran his order. Really, it was cute when I asked Syaoran what he wanted, only for him to say, "whatever you get," with that cheeky smile of his- then change his mind and order only strawberries and extra chocolate. Who knew he was a chocoholic? Then again, so am I.

We had traveled a little ways down from my brother's workplace- which I still can't get over. A butler café-of all things! It's truly a great day to be alive. I won't let him live that down, ever. Come to think of it wouldn't Syaoran look really good in that uniform? I pictured him tightening the tie on the outfit, with that smoldering look in his eyes- yep definitely hot might have to just get Tomoyo to put together and impromptu photo shoot- oh my gosh what am I thinking?! I took a big bite of my crepe and swallowed, coughing as a bit hit my gag reflux. Calm down Sakura, you like him but fantasizing like this is too much! He really would look good in it though…

I glanced over at Syaoran.

"Thanks." Syaoran muttered accepting the crepe. He took a much smaller bite of his crepe then looked over at me. His eyes widened for a second before quickly averted his eyes. Gah-Syaoran don't make me feel like I'm the weird one! You stare at me all the time and- well this is just-I'm just…stupid jerk….

I ripped off a bite of my crepe with my teeth. It's frustrating liking a guy this much.

I blinked twice noticing my former crush smiling at me. Oh my gosh he just saw all of that! My cheeks warmed. I turned away, barely nibbling on my crepe. Why did he have to sit right across from us?

"So- Tsukishiro-san. What brings you to Akihabara anyway?" Syaoran blurted out all of a sudden. I thought I was going to almost choke again on my crepe. It really took me by surprise for him to ask Yukito-san- well anything. Then again, Syaoran was quite the charmer.

Yukito-san tilted his head to the side. He closed his eyes in thought. "Hmm, was I here to see Touya? I don't remember actually…"

I laughed nervously under my breath. Yep, that's the same old Yukito-san. He just always goes with the flow.

"You have a bag full of groceries…" Syaoran pointed out.

Ah that's right! The brown paper bag was propped up on the table, about overflowing with leek stems. It certainly did not seem like his usual grocery haul. Yukito-san eats way more than the average person. In fact, when I was a child I rationalized he must have had a second stomach he needed to fill. Now, thinking about that made me laugh a little. After all there was no way for someone to have two stomachs. I shook my head to push aside the memory.

Yukito-san paused for a moment in thought. "Well…Oh! That's right! Nakuru, my cousin, her family runs a restaurant near here and they needed me to pick up a few things! Oh my…I actually think I might be late…"

I couldn't help myself from scrunching up my shoulders. Syaoran gave me a look of disbelief which I answered with an awkward light laugh. Yukito-san has always been a bit distracted. When he and onii-chan where in middle school he sometimes came over without telling his grandparents where he was going. After a while they just assumed he was always coming over to our house. Otou-san ended up calling them after the second time Yukito-san didn't mention it to them.

When Yukito-san got a cellphone I think his grandparents were able to put their worries to rest. After all it has GPS. Now, since he's an adult I don't really know if his grandparents worry about him as much. Touya seems to though, which is part of the reason they share an apartment near their campus. That and the ridiculous rent…

Yukito-san took a bite of his crepe. His brows were furrowed. He must be feeling really conflicted on leaving so soon. Honestly he worries too much about most things. I sent the most killer smile I could give his way. "You should go on ahead and meet up with them! Yukito-san don't worry about us. We'll be fine." I stated then looked over at Syaoran for reassurance. "We have two more stops right?" I sent him a smile, hoping he would get the hint.

"What do you take me for Kinomoto?" He deadpanned.

"A-ah…um…" I really wasn't sure what to say to that.

"Of course we have two more stops." He sent me a huge grin. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! Was he just- was he just messing with me again?! Of all times? I wanted to play it cool for a bit Li, can't you get a hint? I punched him in the arm, hard. As Syaoran was rubbing his arm I returned my attention to Yukito-san. He was staring at us wide-eyed.

I coughed. "As you can see we're fine, really." I insisted.

"Alright. Well you seem to know how to take care of yourself Sakura. So I won't worry." He stated, back to his cheery disposition. Yukito-san stood up then bent down to pick up his bag of groceries. "And Syaoran-kun?"

Syaoran stiffened for a moment. "Yes?"

"I trust you to take care of our Sakura." Yukito-san gave Syaoran a thumbs up, of all things. My shoulders dropped. Gosh Yukito-san that's so embarrassing! I reddened.

"Of course." Syaoran stated a bit louder than he probably intended. He glanced over at me for a split second, long enough for me to see he was red as a tomato. I'd find it sweet that he took that seriously if I wasn't feeling overwhelmed with embarrassment.

"Or else Touya might kill you." Yukito-san stated with a tone that was very serious. And in that instant my embarrassment evaporated into thin air. I…honestly wouldn't doubt that my brother would kill him if something happened to me. I tucked a stray strand of my hair out of nervousness.

"Right…" Syaoran laughed nervously. Apparently he too knew that this was entirely possible. I do not know if my brother is capable of killing anyone…but I wouldn't put it past him. Touya is all about family, even though he has foiled a few attempts of me- well actually going on a date. Huh, this is the first date Touya has actually ever let me go on- oh wait, he doesn't know this is a date. Well, "trial date." Wow I can't believe I actually am on my first date ever.

"See you two later! Have fun! Also be sure to take a picture of Touya at work before you leave! He's like a different person!" Yukito-san said with a laugh. Before long he was already off towards- well hopefully Nakuru's family's place. I waved back at him until he was out of sight. I took another bite of my crepe with a renewed sense of relief. Yukito-san will always be my first love, that's for sure. He's also always going to be like family. It was a nice comfort to have someone as reliable as Yukito-san as a family friend. Well- reliable in that he'd be there for me if I needed him. I…wouldn't rely on him for anything past that- he's a little too spacey sometimes.

I glanced over at Syaoran. He had already finished his crepe, and had been waving too. I caught him with his hand still up. His eyes widened before he robotically put it down. I laughed a bit then leaned on his shoulder.

"What happened to making me forget about Yukito-san?" I stated playfully.

"I was being chivalrous. Besides he's like family right?" Syaoran muttered. I caught a slight ting of red on his ears.

"Chivalrous? Um, sure Syaoran-kun." I laughed then blushed noticing how close I was to him. I slowly sat up straight. "So um…what's our next stop?" I shyly began to finish off my crepe.

"Well before the rabbit came along I was going to take you to a couple more shops- but change in plans."

"What kind of change in plans." I asked, slightly intrigued.

"We're going to go take a picture of your brother at work, I mean that has been on your mind right? Blackmail material?" Syaoran stated. He had that sly grin on his face. I really liked that sly grin.

"Hell yes!" I stated, then coughed noticing the stares I was getting. "Well I wouldn't say I'd use it as blackmail material per say but that is a fantastic idea."

"Someone seems excited." I heard Syaoran laugh. I reddened, geez, even though I was a bit excited he didn't have to laugh at me about it.

"Well-a chance to blackmail my brother is always fun. " I said with a huff.

"So the notoriously kind and oblivious Sakura Kinomoto has a mischievous side?" Syaoran directed his eyes down at me, his bangs barely touched the tips of his eyelashes. That cocky head-tilt of his…and that smirk, gosh Syaoran stop being cute okay.

"Well yeah of course I-wait a sec you did not just call me oblivious!" I realized too late that he had been making fun of me, yet again.

"You have to admit you can be a little-distracted." Syaoran looked away from me, and I swear I could hear a slight snicker coming from his direction.

"Distracted?!" I squeaked, "I am not distracted or oblivious!"

"Okay okay you are neither of those things." Syaoran darted his eyes away from me but I could see that smirk on his face. Whatever Li, think what you want.

****Meiling****

"Daidouji-san…can't we…just you know…go home?" I reluctantly began. For the past twenty or so minutes we'd been filming Syaoran, Kinomoto-san, and…a white-haired guy standing in line to buy crepes. Daidouji-san had found a stone corner to hide behind near the stand. After that we followed them over to a nearby group of tables, where she then forced me to wear sunglasses and a hat in order to "blend in" as she said. The disguise was pathetic but she apparently thought it was enough to fool those two. They hadn't noticed us yet- probably because of the other hundreds of people around us- but they were bound to if they looked over at us. I gave Hiiragizawa's the "Li glare of death" a few times, but that didn't phase him of course. He just sat next to little miss crazy with that same plastered on smile.

Why am I with this psycho's again? Oh right to protect Syaoran from them, right focus Meiling! You have to be strong for Syaoran!

"No, of course we can't leave Meiling-chan. My precious Sakura-chan is on her first date ever, there's no way I'm going to miss this! Also-" Daidouji-san adjusted the angle of her camera. "Aren't her interactions with Yukito-san and Syaoran-kun so pure?"

I looked over at the "couple" just as Kinomoto-san punched Syaoran in the arm. I seethed, how dare she touch my Syaoran?! He's delicate! His beautiful tan mustn't get messed up by a bruise! I grabbed onto the rim of the table to calm myself. No, Meling you must not let him know you are here. You are supreme protector Meiling. You must protect your precious love from the evil of these two crazy people. Kinomoto-san is just a mosquito compared to them. Just a minor injury could result form her- but these two?

I glanced back over at Daidouji-san and Hiiragizawa's. Daidouji-san's eyes were literally sparkling as she muttered under her breath how "ultra-cute and adorable and precious" her Sakura-chan was…ugh this is disgusting. Is this what my precious Syaoran has to deal with when he's around this girl? How can Daidouji-san, who has a boyfriend, be so enamored with Kinomoto-san? As if noticing my distress Hiiragizawa put a hand on my shoulder.

"She means well you know. Tomoyo-san really loves Sakura-san. For years she's been her closest friend. I think this is her way of coping with having to share her time with Sakura-san now with Li-kun. After today she'll calm down and be…less…well…" Hiiragizawa's voice trailed off as we heard Daidouji-san giggling to herself.

"I really don't have the confidence to trust in your words Hiiragizawa-kun. But for their sake, I certainly hope so." I swallowed the lump forming in my throat. Man, am I glad that I'm not that insane about Syaoran. I mean yes he's so hot and attractive that I can't take my eyes off of him when he works out- I mean he has killer abs after all- but I don't…giggle…like that I hope.

"Oh! Apparently Tsukishiro-san had to leave to go back to work. So- Sakura-chan and Li-kun are going back to her brother's work-place to take pictures of him for blackmail." Daidouji-san stated at lightning speed then breathed in deeply. "Oh my dear Sakura-chan you're such a cute devil too. Aaah I want to make you wear a dark angel costume! I must make that at home!"

In between Daidouji's weird muttering I noticed a strange inconsistency. "How in the world does she know exactly where they're going? I couldn't hear what they were saying at all…"

Hiiragizawa-kun shrugged his shoulders. "She has a built in microphone on Sakura's phone that she can turn on at will. One of the many perks of being the child of the designer and producer of the phone. Also- Sakura's the only one who has a personalized Daidouji Corporation smart-phone. I think Sakura knew what she signed up for but- probably not to this extent. However, her hacking of the phone only works when she's within range."

My jaw dropped. I…seriously am worried for your future now Syaoran if you stay with this Kinomoto-chick. Not only is she not good enough for you but she has a very, very strange friend stalking her. For your sake- I hope that doesn't extend to stalking you when you're not around Kinomoto-san. This is just too ridiculous.

Daidouji-san suddenly bounced upward, her long locks slapping my sunglasses off the bridge of my nose the process. I quickly adjusted them of course. "Team! The target has started in route to the destination! It is now go time! Gather your things and follow me!" She announced, stealthily inching her way over to a stone pillar to hide behind. Before I could even register what had just happened- Daidouji-san was already slowly tailing behind Sakura and Syaoran in the crowd. I felt a chill go up my spine, this chick might be a really scary dark-ops recruit.

I stood up as Hiiragizawa did and jogged in place to catch up with the two of them. It only took me another five seconds to realize we were returning to Kinomoto's hot older brother's place. My face redded at the thought. He was an attractive guy. Have to say…maybe I should snap a couple pics too? Like to make sure I know the right outfit to buy for Syaoran later. Yes, this is a good plan. Good job me!

A/N: So finally after years I have updated this fic. I know. I'm really sorry ;-;. I personally love this fic and really want to finish it, so since I have a bit of time on my hands now I am going to try my best to finish it! I've actually had his chapter semi-finished since 2015- I've added 4 pages since then so I could flesh it out. I'm so happy to finally put this chapter out there. This fic started as a passion project and it deserves to be finished as one- so I'm looking forward to writing in it again!

Since the last update I've gone through 2 very busy years in college. I've now graduated yay! So I'm soon off to graduate school (I hope) and plan to continue on with this fic as I start that next chapter in my life as well. I'm also going to be hopefully continuing my Japanese studies. To those reading this fic again, thank you! I really appreciate any and all support. I hope you enjoy this chapter! And I hope you all are as excited as I am that Card Captor Sakura is back with a new manga and anime! Both of which are amazing! However, there's not enough Syaoran, hence, this fic also needing more Syaoran. So- expect a Syaoran centric chapter next update! Which will hopefully be sooner than later.

Thank you for the reviews so far! If you like the story it really motivates me to have a little comment/review posted if you've read the chapter. And if you really like this fic please do share it with others! I also have a tumblr and twitter that you can follow me at for updates and fangirling about CCS.

Till next time! Release!
