"Ben, you shouldn't have got yourself beaten up over a guy shoving you." Emma said sadly, her head in her hands as she sat on the couch, watching Olivia clean Ben's face.

Ben winced at the pain. "I'm fine." He said bravely, waving Olivia away and smirking. "You don't remember the fight I had with Peter over Erin? When he was trying to kiss her but Erin screamed?"

"With happiness, but you didn't know that." Erin rolled her eyes fondly.

Mary Ellen sighed as she fed John Curtis under a blanket on the arm chair. "You're not a child anymore. Ben, you are eighteen years old."

"Mary Ellen, you are nineteen years old." Ben mocked, laughing harder when she poked him.

G. W knocked on the door, and Erin burst up out of her seat. "Come in!" She squealed and took his hand.

G. W's eyes widened when he saw Ben's face. "Uh, maybe this is a bad time..."

Ben shook his head. "It's fine, really."

G. W nodded awkwardly and sat down with Erin. John walked in, smiling. "So, G. W, you treating my little girl right?" Erin blushed and gave John a look.

G. W went red. "Uh, yes sir. Yes sir."

"He definitely is." Erin giggled, kissing his cheek.

Jim Bob sighed and mooched into the bedroom. "Joy's in her bad mood again." Joy had a bad mood every month, and Jim Bob usually tried to avoid her when it was that time.

Ben grinned. "Haha. Emma's like a bear on hers. She screamed at me for not clearing my dishes."

"Mary Ellen was the worst, though. Be glad she doesn't live with us anymore." Jason smiled and went back to strumming on his guitar.

"Just what till Elizabeth gets hers." The three boys groaned at the thought.

Elizabeth walked in and bounced on Ben's bed. "I get what?"

"Nothing." Ben said quickly, giving her a pointed look to get out.

"I'm not getting out." She pouted. "Why can't I hang with my brothers?"

"You can." Jason grinned, setting down his guitar and patting his bed. Elizabeth grinned and skipped over, cuddling up to her older brother.
