Jack had led them to a room with a TV. North had many, many rooms here, from guest bedrooms to rooms dedicated to his wacky collections to simple things-this one was a theatre based one.

He wasn't sure if Elizabeth had seen a movie before-his first one was when the first full animated feature in the 30's came out. He heard the buzz from the children and had a look for himself. Snow White if he was correct. And it wasn't until now that he had seen more movies thanks to North, who was very okay with Jack coming in here often. No surprise, he quite enjoyed this pastime. It was very relaxing to him. Especially right now, where he felt very...drained.

"Okay; you've watched a movie before, right?" He asked as he looked through Norths endless collection of movies on the wall that Jack himself put into their respective sections for him to find easier. Elizabeth bit her lip in thinking.

"Um. A couple. Not really much."

"Alright, what do you wanna see? Comedy? Maybe animation? Romance? Horror?"

"Probably comedy. I can see you're avoiding the drama section." She laughed a little. "Cupid personally loves 10 Things I Hate About You. I've seen it many times."

"I don't think I have." He looked back to her.

"I can see it riiggghhhttt here." She leaned over him to drab it. "Is this okay?"

Jack looked it over before shrugging. "Yeah, why not?"

Elizabeth put the movie in while Jack dimmed the lights before settling next to her. That's around the time that it hit Elizabeth; would this be considered...a date? Nah, she's going crazy. But that idea didn't stop her cheeks from growing warm and a smile beginning to form.

"Can you tell me what this is about real quick?" He whispered as the commercials began to play. Jack liked those, personally. He always found something else he'd want to see later.

"Yeah," She said back, "Basically, it's about a popular teenager can't go out on a date until her older sister does, only she doesn't want to date. I don't want to give to much away, but its really good."

"Seems interesting." He smiled, looking over at her. Her chest fluttered. He tilted his head slightly. "You said Cupid liked this movie?"

She nodded. "Oh yeah! Ever since it came out. Snuck into the movies so many times before he nabbed a DVD version." She laughed. "He took me there once; Kira didn't want to go see a sappy movie, and I-" She caught herself. Gah! She mentioned her. She wasn't supposed to mention her until later; until he remembered.

"Kira?" Jack asked, face twisting to confusion. The beginning of the movie began to play.

She tried to backtrack. "Uh- oh, look! The movies starting!" She faced forward, feeling her body growing hot from sweat. Greatgreatgreat.

"No, who's Kira?"

He wasn't going to drop this and she knew that. Sighing, she turned back to him. "Kira's my older sister."

It took him a few seconds to digest this new information. "You have a sister?"

"Yes, that's what I just said." Elizabeth laughed a little. "Five years older than me. She's a traveler; I don't see her a whole lot but she comes to visit occasionally. She's very protective of me."

"Oh." He muttered. He had no clue-more like, he would've never guessed- that Pitch had more than one kid. "Wouldn't have known."

"Yeah." She glanced down. "Her gig right now is doing small things for Father Time, I think. That's what she said in her last letter. She's more old fashioned. But I'm just glad she has a good reputation-it's not easy being...well, us."

He was about to ask her to elaborate on that because he didn't understand, but then yeah it kicked in. He didn't think about how Pitch's daughters would be affected. Elizabeth, he hoped, didn't have to worry about others judging her. She was too nice. "I didn't think about that. I always assumed Pitch got most of that. Or really, all of that."

"Oh, no." She sighed, shaking her head. "No one knows I exist too much, my sister's more 'popular', however that doesn't stop others from staring. No one really mentions me or her, but Dad only gets a little more attention, especially after he tried to kill the Guardians." Her face flushed in embarrassment. "That didn't help."

"Does he ever regret it?" Jack asked, genuinely wanting to know. Surely he thought about the repercussions. Right?

She sat back. "I think...I think he regrets slipping up. Like, I dunno all he did, but I do know he took the fairies and memories." Guilt flashed across her face, and she looked a little sick. "I love my Dad a whole lot, but...I don't agree with what he did. I wish he didn't do the things he did. I didn't want anyone to be hurt, or worse,' she shuddered. "disappear."

"You don't have too agree with him and the things he did, 'Beth." He assured. "I wouldn't either, but I get it. He's still your dad."

She nodded a little, looking sick.

Jack frowned a little more. "I'm sorry, I'm making you uncomfortable."

"It's fine." She whispered. "I always kept these thoughts to myself. It's a little nice to admit that what he did wasn't good."

Jack could only nod along, before he shifted closer and pulled her up next to him. He didn't know what to say, but he could at least hug her. She tensed for a millisecond before settling into his side. "So...Does Cupid have a crush on that guy?"

He was glad to hear her laugh. "Who? Heath Ledger? If so, then yes."

"I figured. He is kinda cute."

"Yeah, you're right." She smiled softly, pressing her cheek onto his shoulder. "You know who else is?"

"Who?"

She bit her lip, before deciding she did want to answer, "You, silly."

He flushed, grinning goofily. "Wow, that's crazy, because I though it was you. No, I'm right."

This was foreign territory for both of them, as they both had trouble with the simple concept of flirting. But that was okay, they guessed, they'd figure it out together even if it was awkward at first. But for now, they seemed content. They were more flirty in the beginning, but it was more of a way to warm up to each other. Now that they understand one another more, it was more difficult.

"No!" She laughed a little, looking up at him. "You are."

"Nope, sorry, I won't accept that answer," he responded in a matter of fact tone, the tip of his nose pressing against hers gently.

"And I won't accept yours then." She noticed how they leaned closer and closer, and she didn't know if it was the movie or something else, but she just felt...gravitated to him. And he felt the same. Time seemed to slow, and they only continued to lean and lean and lean and lean-

"Wait." She said suddenly, pulling back. The sick feeling had returned to her gut. The daze was broken for the two of them now.

"You okay?" He asked, shifted his body to face her better. "I thought you wanted to kiss?" He was confused, and a little disappointed.

Elizabeth closed in on herself a little. "I do. I do! I do wanna kiss you but it feels...strange right now. I want you to remember more. You still only know so little and-"

"'Beth," he cut her off, feeling a tiny bit fed up. "I get you're concerned but while I was Jackson I am Jack now. I'm not helpless. I'm still capable of having memories in this life. We started over, right?"

Oh. Was she making him feel that way? That wasn't her intent. "I...oh." She seemed to get it. "Oh. I didn't...No, that makes sense. I wasn't..." she kept muttering to herself, mulling his words over and over in her head until she felt she fully understood and could reply correctly. "I've been to caught up with this memory thing." Her eyes flickered to him, looking in almost a confirming way.

"This is still...freaking me out." Her words were a little slow, as she came to the conclusion of her own feelings. Elizabeth had been feeling a little weird. She cared for Jack deeply, she did, but it was always the same thing; he wasn't her Jack. She needed to pull herself out of that slump. Her head began to shake. "You're Jack. You're not Jackson. You're Jack." Giving a frustrated sigh, the daughter of the Nightmare King slumped back. "Why is this still bugging me?"

While she had been thinking everything over, that's when the Winter spirit understood her more like she did him. She had never gotten over him, he knew that, but it was like she tried and always failed.

"I need to go talk to my Dad." She muttered after a long silence. Her eyebrows furrowed. She shook her head slightly. "No...no...I might wait." Elizabeth whispered lowly.

Jack bit his lip for a second. "No, go talk to him. You're probably gonna feel the same if you stay here."

She peeked over to him. "Are you sure?"

"Yeah, we can always rewatch the movie together." He smiled, and she did the same.

But suddenly, her eyebrows furrowed. "Wait..."

He looked at her, curious now, and waited for her to speak again.

"...Why did he take you again?" Elizabeth glanced up at him, and Jack shrugged. "It seems a little odd for him to do that and just...let you leave." Her face scrunched.

"I don't know, I assumed he'd tell you no or at least stop us."

She let out a little hum, which felt different to Jack because he could feel it vibrating his chest. Was she always able to do that? "...I'll be right back, okay? Tell me how the movie ends." She kissed the top of his nose and disappeared into the shadows. Jack shifted slightly, feeling a little uncomfortable being alone, but knew she needed to go talk to Pitch. He was fine. He'll be fine.

"Dad!" Elizabeth gasped for air as she struggled to catch up with her father, whom she hadn't seen in a while. Pitch turned to his youngest and smiled, before seeing her troubled face.

"What's wrong?" He asked, that fatherly instinct kicking in.

"I..." How would she go about saying this again? What was her plan? "Uhm. I have questions."

His face twisted into confusion as he looked at his youngest. What was going on? "Alright."

"You know when you tried to overthrow the Man in the Moon?" She blurted, and soon she couldn't stop. "WellIreallywishedyoudidn'tdothatbecauseyouknowhowharditisforKiratoliveherlifeandhowitwouldbeformeifItalkedtoothersandIalsofeelreallyreallybadandguiltywhenyoutookthosefairiesbecauseIhadtogowithJacktogethismemoriesandIfeltsickandalsowhydidyoutakeJackonlytojustlethimgolikethatdoesn'tmakeanysense-"

"Woah, woah, woah," he managed to cut in. "Slow down, Love." He'd only caught some bits of what she said, though he could feel her unease.

She took a breath, and exhaled shakily with a small nod.

"Now please repeat that, you know I can't understand you when you rush." He said gently, knowing something was bugging her. She was always the most sensitive.

"Jack and I were talking, and, well, okay-" she began to speak quicker, but caught herself, "We figured getting his memories would help him remember- because he's Jackson Overland, no, he was-" she informed him, even though he knew this information well before she did, "A-Anyways, that meant we had to go to the Tooth Palace." She stopped and waited for her father to get it, but he didn't seem too. The pause did give her a chance to ease her stomach.

"...Alright." He acknowledged, thinking she'd want a response. She did, but he gave the wrong one.

Elizabeth sighed a little, bit wanting to mention it really. But she was here, she had to get it out. "It just...it felt really weird and I kept getting this feeling of like this overwhelming guilt. That little fairy, Baby Tooth, I think? She like, yelled at me I guess and assumed I'd hurt them because-" a more sharp pause than before, and that's when he understood.

"Oh. I understand." Grimly, he knew his children wouldn't do so well in the outside world, which is why he worried for his other child, Kira. She was always more outgoing and headstrong, just like Em-

Hm. She wouldn't have to fear about being judged by others. She didn't even look like him, nor is she even around anymore.

"Yeah." She whispered. "I didn't agree with you doing what you did several years ago, and I still don't. I just...I really wish you didn't do that."

"I didn't realize you felt that way." He offered, pulling her into a hug. He partially didn't regret his actions, but the only regret he felt again was for them. "I am really sorry, Love." She could only nod. He decided he wanted to change the subject, as his defeat was still a sore topic for him, "Also; are you two dating?" He added bluntly to ease the tension, and to make sure nothing was going on between the two.

"I know Cupid told you already." She said without missing a beat, however Pitch knew she was smiling. She'd been in love with that Overland boy-who's now that Frost brat. Fun.

"You're right, he did. When did I give you permission to date?"

She pulled away, laughing a little. Elizabeth felt a little bit better admitting what she did. "It's not like I had a choice!" Her cheeks flushed a little pink. "But I mean, its not like I minded."

Flatly, Pitch muttered, "Uh-huh." before he sighed, giving a kiss to her forehead. "Don't think I wont hesitate to kill him if he tries to hurt my youngest baby."

"Daaadddd!" She whined, feeling ultimately that her father was joking (which, for the record, he was not). But not that she would've noticed anyways. Then she remembered one of her questions. "Wait, lets back up; why did you take Jack again?"

Pitch didn't know how to respond. He knew the reason, buuutttt she didn't need to know, nor did Jack. "Ah, I felt I'd give the Guardians a hit in their defense."

She frowned, feeling like that wasn't what she wanted to hear. "Like...what? Were you going to hurt him?"

"No, no," He waved dismissively, because he was telling the truth. "I'd been in hiding for years, just poking fun at them is all."

Elizabeth didn't look convinced, and he knew she wouldn't be; all his daughters thought carefully, calculatingly. "...Alright."

"Don't worry to much about it, Love, it was nothing serious." He said, pulling her into his side for a hug.

"No, I do believe you," not really, there was something going on there, "um. I'm gonna go back to Jack, okay?" His youngest pulled away, trying to slip into the shadows. "Love you, Dad," She smiled, before falling into the dark.

"Love you too." He muttered with a little wave, before his hand fell flat to his side as he let out a little sigh. It wasn't easy being a father. Especially to a daughter who's dead boyfriend was brought back to life to fight you, have you realize it until later, and then you kidnap him so they could meet again. He never said he was mysterious in his planning, but again, this was supposed to be a secret. He's sure that Frost brat wouldnt let him hear the end of it, like Nina-ugh, Mother Nature, did. Stupid old woman.

On the topic of his kids, maybe he should give Kira a visit. He hadn't seen her in a long while, around five years by now. She'd always try to write. He doubted Father Time would want his presence but honestly he didnt care. Maybe he could get Kira to watch over her sister some more.

Yeah. He'd go do that.
