The day of the battle against the Church's rebellion group finally arrived. The members of the Occult Research Club, the Sitri group, Sister Griselda, and Dulio gathered in the basement of the Hyoudou house preparing to depart for the upcoming battle.
"Listen we fill be entering conflict with the church rebellion group a field similar to the rating games has been set up though in quite a rush" Azazel told the group.
"Yes, surprisingly those church idiots are excepting your magical transportation, though it is not trapped like it would be wise to do" Zeref informed them.
"If we defeated the rebels in such a manner it would only inspire more to follow them, and it's rather dishonourable" Azazel told the black Mage.
"If you wish to send these people to their deaths then be my guest" Zeref said impassively.
"Strada isn't the one to order his followers to kill children and we don't want to worsen relationships by killing exorcists" Azazel told him stubbornly.
"Well when Dante cuts your heads off I hope you feel honourable" Zeref said blandly with a wink earning him a scowl.
"I must admit however if you were to die it could not be in a better place even by my standards the barrier that has been created is rather exceptional" Zeref admitted.
"Thank you Zeref-San" Rosewiesse replied taking the compliment.
"Anyway, the church group will be split into two one group led by Cristalda and another by Strada, at the moment we have no idea of what Dante has planned and it's rumoured that a man going by the name of Vergil, a miracle child who is rumoured to be stronger than both Cristalda and Strada will also be taking part" Azazel told the group.
"Vergil, I remember that person it's a wonder he never became a fallen angel by the way he acts" Griselda said in annoyance.
"A power house like that would be useful" Azazel said scratching his chin.
"Hm yes I understand" Zeref said as it seemed he came to some kind of revolution.
"Understand what" Azazel asked suspiciously.
"It would be far more interesting for you to find out in your own" Zeref said.
"Anyway, I'm only here to ask that if you should find hounds sin tell him that the captain wishes him to stay out of the conflict" Zeref told them.
"Is bro awake now?" Issei asked.
"No but if you don't want him to mutilate your corpses and resurrect your souls as his undying servants and then use you to kill your friends, it's a good thing to lie about" Zeref said.
"Y-your joking about that right" Saji said terrified as Zeref looked at him for a moment before saying.
"Boo" as Saji squealed like a little girl.
"Who knows in this world nothing is certain but death good day" Zeref said as he vanished in a black swirl.
"I really don't like that guy" Saji muttered.
"Those idiots really didn't trap those teleportation" Dante said in both amazement and disappointment but it was hard to tell in his dull toned voice.
"Honourable idiots to be sure, Dante you go with Strada, I won't be taking part in this battle until much later" Vergil told him as he slashed the air with his sword creating a portal that he stepped through.
"Come Dante let us get this done quickly" Strada said.
"Fine" Dante said summoning his sword and grabbing it from his back.
"Guess it's time for a little rebellion" he said as his eyes glowed a crimson red.
In the replica of Kuoh academy Dante, Strada and the Gremory group where preparing for battle.
"Dante-san as a representative of the devil King Lucifer I offer you this one chance of redemption" Rias told him.
"You think I'm scared of your shit of a brother, once this is done I'm getting the hell out of here before captain get up and disembowels me" Dante said.
"Come now no need to be so vulgar with these children" Strada said.
"Reality can be vulgar and harsh just like death it's best they learn that now" Dante said uncaringly as he noticed that bubbles began to float down.
"These bubbles are from us?" Rias questioned.
"That's correct" Kiba said showing up on the scene along with Irina.
"These bubbles were made by Joker, and it's said that it makes the opponent remember things precious to them, thus dissolving their will to fight." Irina told the group.
"These bubbles are quite beautiful" Strada said with a smile on his wrinkled face though that smile was shattered by multiple gun shots as Dante had burst them all with his pistol.
"Dam guess they got all the cannon fodder" Dante said as all the other worriers that had accompanied the two had been taken out by the bubbles and then pointed the gun at the group of kids.
"Dante, we have agreed on no killing" Strada said rather sternly.
"Honestly am I the only one who knows how to actually rebel here" Dante said in frustration holstering his gun.
"If I'm doing everything wrong then you can handle this" he said walking to the side and sitting down on the ground.
"You can take care of these small fry" he finished.
"Commander why must it be here we dispose of this monster would it not make sense to destroy him elsewhere" a church rebel asked his commander from inside the barrier, the commander and group in question being the ones assigned to kill Alucard.
"It is essential we destroy him here where everyone can see that our Lord has been avenged" the commander informed the group as the coffin that Alucard was inside of was out in the centre of a magic circle that was drawn on the ground.
"This will bombard him with light magic and holy attribute magic designed specifically to handle vampires, if that fails we are all highly trained and experienced exorcist and he shall be weakened by the attack and we may be able to defeat him with minimal loses" the commander informed the group.
"Surly this will work commander he is only one person?" A rebel asked.
"You were not there when we fought the seven deadly sins, those people, if you can call them that utterly destroyed anyone who was not at an ultimate class level and the monster that killed our Lord was the most terrifying of them all" the commander said with a shudder.
"Magic circle ready to activate do we have permission" a rebel magician asked.
"Yes, prey this works my comrades" the commander said kidding his cross necklace as the magic circle began to glow white as suddenly it seemed to create a massive white bubble that engulfed the area as well as the coffin as it was consumed in the light as it stayed like that for a few moments before eventually vanishing leaving only a large creator.
"It has been done, Lord you may finally rest in peace" a church rebel cried falling to his knees in tears and was followed by others crying out in happiness.
"Don't let your guard down, someone check that crater" the commander commanded.
"Sir we have checked not a speck of that monster remains" a church follower shouted up to him.
"Which means we don't have a corpse to show for, keep your guard up" the commander ordered.
"Well it would seem that we have someone component" a sinister voice whispered behind as the commander sprung forwards as fast as he could.
"Good you aren't the sort of idiot who lets people get and stay behind them" Alucard said with a cruel smile showing off his teeth.
"That was not my true coffin but it was a rather nice one, I expect compensation" he said pulling out a pair of pistols.
"MONSTER, DIE" a church follower shouted as 3 of them jumped at him with light swords all hitting their mark impairing his chest.
"How dull" Alucard said unaffected by the light swords in his chest as he pointed his guns at the two at his side blowing their brains out and then bit into the neck of the third one to find out what the hell was going on.
"Another group of church idiots attempting to avenge their fallen God" he said in an almost bored tone.
"Very well if you wish to be with your god so badly" he said as he grabbed the person who's neck he bit and crushed it in his hand.
"I'll send you all to him" he said as his eyes glowed an evil blood red.
"OPEN FIRE" the commander yelled as the exorcists pulled out their own guns and fired at him with bullets of holy metal and light all hitting their target causing Alucard's blood to fly out of him, almost making it look like angel wings, the strangely beautiful site did not last forever however as Alucard's brought his hands up once more and fires his own bullets at the followers most of them hitting their targets though some missed and caused large explosions in the ground.
'What insane power, is he using explosive rounds?' The commander thought to himself as he attempted to gain Intel by finding one of his bullets which he did eventually do and he was shocked by what he saw.
'Those aren't explosive rounds, the explosions where caused by the sheer impact' he thought in horror of just how powerful those guns could be, also looking at them he realised that they were also holy round, Alucard noticed the commander looking at his ammo and smirked.
"Like it, my master is quite a thief and he lets me melt down all the Christian artifices he steals into bullets so I can use them to kill Christians, isn't it ironic" he shouted down at the man before he began to laugh as his brains where blown out by the very same commander who now had his own gun in hand.
"You, you are nothing but a monster" he yelled at him.
"Men, there is no point in throwing away our lives here retreat" he shouted.
"But sir" yelled a rebel in reply.
"I know this monster deserves to die but we do not have the strength to do so, I will hold him off while you retreat" he ordered knowing it would most likely be the last one.
"HA HA HA HA HA" Alucard Howled like some deranged hyena.
"You're a fool if you think any of you will escape this place alive" he said bringing his hands up.
"Release restriction seals level one" he chanted as his body exploded in darkness.
'Strada, to think you'd let yourself loose to a bunch of kids' Dante thought to himself after witnessing the fierce battle of Strada and the group of kids and Strada loosing, but to Dante it looked as if they let him win and now they were having some heartful talk about peace and stuff and where not paying attention to him.
'Time to teach these idiots a lesson' he thought as he got up and was quickly behind the Vali groups swordsman Arthur Pendragon and before he could react kicked him on the back of the knee toppling over to his knee and then slapped him on the back of the neck knocking him unconscious.
"You're probably the only one who could be a threat here, sorry I couldn't give you a good fight" he said emotionlessly as the other clocked into him.
"Dante stop the fight is lost" Strada yelled at him.
"Sorry Strada, I'd like to say it wasn't personal but I'd be lying" he said as he pulled out a pistol at shot directly at Strada but before it could hit him the half Angel Teodoro got in his way and took the bullet.
"TEODORO" Strada yelled watching the young man fall to the floor.
"Your eminence" Teodoro said weakly.
"DANTE" Strada yelled angrily attempting to get up but could not do so because of his wounds and exhaustion.
"Oops I missed" said Dante.
"You know I think beating you to death would be a bit more satisfying anyway" he said cracking his knuckles and began to walk over to the fallen old man.
"As if I'd let you" Issei shouted charging at Dante and swinging a punch directly at his face which perfectly hit his mark hitting him dead on, the problem was it seemed to have no effect.
"You're the reason captain had to get in bed with these devil fucks" Dante said showing he was unaffected by the punch as he bought his hand up and flicked Issei in the chest sending him back as well as winding him.
"Guess your tougher than I thought, think I'll kill you second" he said without care.
"You will never lay hands on my servant" Rias shouted as the group prepared for battle.
"Kaichou should we not go and offer Rias-sama assistance" Tsubaki the Queen of the Stiri peerage asked her King Sona.
"Not now we have to finish off the remaining members of the church and then we can offer our assistance" Sona informed her.
"Kaichou we have incoming enemy's heading this way" one of the Stiri members shouted.
"Okay everyone battle positions" Sona ordered at the group took up a defensive position, however the group was surprised when it didn't seem the enemy's running at them weren't there to attack but to run away from something as try all completely ran past them all in complete terror, confused by this Sona ordered one of her rooks to capture one of them.
"Please let me go I have to get away from that monster it will kill is all" the captured man yelled in pure fear as he pissed his pants.
"What on earth are you talking about" Sona demanded to know as a loud scream of pain was heard.
"Oh god commander" the captured rebel yelled as the group turned to face where the sound had come from only to be horrified to see the rebel commander in the jaws of a dog made out of darkness with multiple eyes all over its body seemingly eating the man as he finally killed the man crushing his head between its teeth and swallowed him.
"Ha ha ha ha pathetic are these the finest of gods Warriors" Alucard laughed manically showing that the dog had come from him as it was attacked to him via darkness that he was producing.
"Move out of the way devil scum" Alucard Said angrily as the Stiri could move out of the way in fear.
"Thought you could get away ha ha ha" Alucard told the church rebel walking over to him licking his lips.
"God forgive me" he said taking out a pistol and shooting himself in the head, this did not amuse Alucard in the slightest as he suddenly became enraged.
"Hound sin you are ordered to" Sona said regaining a bit of her nerve attempting to stop the meaningless slaughter only for Alucard to angrily grab her by the neck and pointed a gun right at her face.
"What the hell did you just say to me" he angrily said to her.
"Kaicho" Tsubaki shouted unsure what to do.
"You think that I'm the evil one here, that I'm the monster, you're not wrong but that's only your perception because of your bias, to the non-bias man I would be justified in these killings, these filthy dogs where trying to kill me so I killed them for it, it's as simple as that kill or be killed not even God or the devil kings can change that and a monster like me knows that better than anyone" he told her angrily as she stumbled in fear.
"What do you think girl want to see a real monster" he said as he prepared to pull the trigger, before he could however someone sliced off both of his arms causing her to drop Sona.
"You, I should have known you would be here preaching your own brand of justice" Alucard said addressing the man who had sliced his arms off.
"Dragon shot" Issei yelled sending a dragon shot at Dante who easily flicked it away like it was nothing.
"Take this" Xenovia said as she and Kiba rushed at him frantically swinging their sword though they didn't even force him to draw his own as he blocked the sword slashes with his fingers holding one up for each sword and deflecting them.
"Let me give you two a lesson" he said grabbing the swords and throwing both of them a few meters away from him.
"When fighting a group always take out the healer first" he said pulling out his pistol and whiteout so much as flinching shot Asia.
"ASIA" the group yelled seeing here fall down in pain.
"I'm not so cold hearted to kill a little girl and a nun in one so consider yourself lucky, let me beat the old man to death and I'll let you go" Dante said coldly.
"Bastard" Issei shouted lunging at him again.
"If your calling me a son of a bitch you aren't the first" Dante said grabbing hold of Issei's arm as he lunged at him and threw him over his back, but didn't notice the cannons on his shoulders.
"Shit" Dante said as he was hit by a blast of Crimson energy.
"Little shit bag" Dante shouted as he was hit again on the back by the power of destruction by Rias and then kicked in the chin by Issei.
"Take this, soul residence twin dragon cannon" Issei shouted over charging the cannons on his back.
'Better get out of here' Dante thought planning on flying away but found he couldn't as he was being held down by Saji's lines and Gaspers darkness.
"Don't underestimate us" Saji shouted.
"FIRE" Issei yelled as he fired a gigantic beam at Dante.
"Fuck" Dante yelled covering his face before completely letting his guard down.
"Just kidding" he said breaking one of his arms free, drawing his sword as slashing the beam clean in half.
"No way that was my full power" Issei said in disbelief as the fatigue from the earlier battle set in and he was forced to deactivate his armour.
"Dam sorry guys I'm all out" Issei said falling in his ass.
"Well shit look at me having to take you brats somewhat serious, guess your stronger than I thought" Dante said scratching his head only to find his arm being trapped again.
"Right time to take you idiots seriously" Dante said as he spread his Angel and devil wings from his back breaking himself free and then proceeded to crack his neck before vanishing and appearing behind Saji picking him up and then slamming Saji's back on his knee causing the boy to pass out from pain and was quickly over to Gasper and brutally punched the girly boy straight in the face.
Issei watched his companions be brutally beat down as Dante was not holding back on them and he was helpless to do anything but being who he was he couldn't just sit by as he managed to get to his feet just as he was about to beat Rias.
"Dante that's enough stop this now" Issei shouted at him.
"You want me to stop?" Dante asked.
"Please Dante there in no honour is beating children" Strada pleaded.
"Very well, I'll give you a chance to end it here kid" Dante said as he got a hold of Rias and put a gun to her head and then tossed another over to Issei.
"Shoot the old man and I'll let you all go, refuse" he said pushing the gun into the Crimson beauty's temple.
"Well let's just say your girlfriend here won't be so pretty with a bullet in her head" Dante said coldly.
"W-what" Issei stuttered.
"Did I fucking stutter pick up the gun" Dante shouted as Issei got to his feet and picked up the gun.
"Now shoot the old man" Dante ordered.
"Y-you can't be serious isn't he's your comrade" Issei said in disbelief.
"So was your brother didn't stop me tearing out his heart with my bare hands, now I won't ask again take the shot in the next 10 seconds or I kill her" Dante replied.
"Issei" Rias screamed.
"Young devil do not feel bad if it can save another's life I shall gladly give mine" Strada said but this did not make it any easier for him.
"Dam it" Issei said pointing the gun at Strada.
"Come on you little bitch do it or I'll kill this bitch and rape her corpse" Dante yelled.
"AHHHHHH" Issei screamed pulling the trigger but all that came out was a flag saying bang.
"Holy shit I didn't think you would have the balls, nice one" Dante said pushing Rias away from him.
"Wait what" Issei stammered completely bewildered.
"If anyone is killing that old man it's me I just wanted to see if you would do it, respect kid you got some darkness in you" Dante said with a chuckle.
"Dante why" Strada almost begged.
"Why, why not we all go through our lives through a certain path, good or evil, dark and light, Angel and devil what's wrong with jumping from path to path every so often in a constitution of both races so why should I have to abide by society's standards, as a Nephilim I make my own standards as I am neither" Dante told him.
"Or to put it in layman terms, it's just fun" he said.
"Well sorry but your funs over now" a voice said to the side of the group.
"Oh, Ichigo hi there" Dante addressed his ex-teammate.
"Hey" Ichigo replied looking around.
"You caused a lot of trouble here, I'm going to have to ask you to stop" Ichigo told him.
"Ha ha ha ha, come on you think you can stop me" Dante laughed but Ichigo ignored him and faced Issei.
"Issei your brothers fine he just woke up, thankfully that helped me get Alucard out of here" Ichigo said to Issei.
"Thank god" Issei said in relief.
"Now you and your friends get out of here, I don't want you getting in the way" Ichigo said drawing Zangetsu from his back.
"This should be more entertaining, take your idiots" Dante said kicking Sanji who was next to him in the floor over to the side away from them.
"That's good enough" Dante said pulling out his pistols and fired at Ichigo who dodged by zig zagging from side to side while at the same time moving towards Dante and when he was close enough he slashed Zangetsu down at him but it was blocked by rebellions and the clash created a large shockwave.
"Woah" Issei said in amazement to the side.
"Come on Ichigo is that all you got" Dante said pushing against his blade and flinging Ichigo back as Ichigo back flipped away to correct himself.
"Not even close Getsuga Tensho" Ichigo shouted sending a Getsuga Tensho directly at Dante who dodged it and then summoned a gigantic light spear and threw it directly at Ichigo but Ichigo cut the spear in half and then once again lunged at Dante clashing swords once again as the two rained frantic slashes upon each other.
"Asia, are you alright" Issei asked moving over to the injured Asia.
"Yes Issei I am okay, I can help the others" Asia said.
"No you need to rest I'm sure we can get other healers" Issei said as he use his body to cover her from the shockwaves produced by the two fighters.
"W-what an intense battle" Kiba said in amazement watching the two Warriors battle.
"Kiba did the other group have any healers in it" Issei shouted to Kiba who ignored him in favour of watching the fight.
"KIBA" Issei yelled at him.
"W-what oh yes I below there were some in the other group" Kiba told him.
"Okay I'm going to get Asia healed then come back with more healers keep an eye on everyone okay" Issei told him as he picked up Asia and ran off.
"Yes" Kiba said as he turned back around to the sword fighting watching in awe as the two clashed.
"I don't see why you bother Ichigo" Dante shouted summoning his democratic Battle axe and slamming it at Ichigo who blocked with the flat of his blade but was sent back by the impact.
"We both know I'm stronger then you are" Dante shouted throwing a large holy shuriken at him which Ichigo lent far back to avoid, but Dante was soon on him again delivering a vicious punch to his stomach causing Ichigo to fall to the ground and cough up blood but soon he regained his composure and went to sweep kick Dante who jumped over his kick and then Ichigo slashed at him with Zangetsu which Dante also avoided by flying back away.
"The sin of envy is quite the thing you envy the rest of us because you can't beat us in a straight up fight and yet you are the envy of the world holding the title of the greatest swordsman" Dante said with a slight chuckle.
"Are you trying to make a point here" Ichigo asked annoyed sipping his mouth of the blood.
"No just making conversation" Dante said pulling out a gun and aimed it at Kiba who was in a trance but before the bullet could hit him Ichigo got in front of it and blocked it with his sword.
"What are you doing aiming at kids Dante?" Ichigo shouted angrily.
"Winning" he replied pressing the trigger again but no bullet came out, quickly Ichigo looked at his sword and realised there was an explosive attached to it.
"Crap" Ichigo managed to get out before he quickly got away from the injured teens but was caught up in the explosion himself as he made his escape.
"*pant* Now that's just dirty" Ichigo said revealing he had survived the explosion though didn't look all that good from it.
"Worked though" Dante Said pulling out Ebony and Ivory and firing rapidly at Ichigo who easily deflected them all.
"Well guess you're stronger than I thought" Dante said sounding somewhat surprised.
"Dante what you said about me being the weakest it's true" Ichigo said looking at Dante straight in the eye.
"But I want to say something before we continue, what you said about your boredom and wanting to switch paths for fun, we both know it's a lie" Ichigo said.
"So" Dante said uncaringly but Ichigo carried on.
"Your Sin is sloth, it means you're lazy and you give up, the sad thing is that you've given up on life" Ichigo said as Dante looked on.
"The reason you switch paths so often is simple, you're simply looking for the quickest one that leads to your death, you were born into a world that couldn't except you a child of two races that hated each other and hated you belonging nowhere only got to serve death so that one day you may embrace it, but when that day never came you changed your path and went against death in hopes that it would lead to your own" Ichigo said to him as Dante remained blank faced.
"I don't know if a time will come when people will be able to except you, I don't know if you'll ever find a path that can lead to happiness but the Sin of giving up on life, of sloth, that is your sin" Ichigo finished.
"Huh hate to say it but you're right, but the reason I'm doing this is not because of that" Dante told him.
"Very well" Ichigo said bringing his blade up and placing it in front of him as he began to release an insane amount of spiritual energy.
"Oh, time for that is it" Dante said following suit as his necklace began to glow and he released and insane amount of demonic power.
"BANKAI"
"DEVIL TRIGGER" the two yelled as a huge dust storm began to form and the earth began to shake.
"Hold an Asia we're almost there" Issei said running with Asia in his arms to then other group when he suddenly stopped and was unable to move as a terrifying presence came over him.
'W-what the hell is this' he said unable to move from the pressure and it seemed Asia was in the same boat as she had seemingly frozen in his arms as a large dust storm blew over them.
"Kaichou we have a problem the barrier is breaking" Tsubaki shouted at Sona.
"It must be because of that energy spike, we need to get it reinforced quickly" Sona ordered.
'This barrier is a prototype for one designed to hold 666, what sort of power are we dealing with' Sona thought in a slight panic until suddenly the power completely vanished, elsewhere Issei had manage to regain his composure and was back in the move.
'Could that power have been Dante-San and Ichigo-San' he though in slight amazement.
'Kiba you better keep them safe'.
'Incredible, this is a battle between true Warriors' Kiba said in amazement as the two stopped building up power and with a swoop of their sword the two blew away the smoke clouds revealing their changed appearance Ichigo having changed into black clothes that looked almost like robes as well as a mask on his face, not only that but his sword had changed and was now a smaller katana like blade with a small chain attached to the end of it, Dante had also changed but only slightly as his hair had grown a little and was bleach white along with demonic red eyes.
"Man I don't remember the last time I went out like this" Dante said with a slight smirk but Ichigo didn't respond to him only started at him with amber eyes, then in an instant at speeds Kiba could hardly even register the two had clashed blades once again and this time the shockwaves where a hundred times more powerful and Kiba was forced to summon a blade, plant it in the ground and then cling on to it so that he didn't go flying off, luckily the unconscious group where behind a bundle of rocks so they didn't go flying either, over with Dante and Ichigo they continued their fight as Ichigo sent a large horizontal slash towards Dante who back flipped over the slash but it continued the way around them as a large cut appeared around the top of the barrier as it seemingly slowly began to fall from the slice but quickly repaired itself 'dam that's quite a barrier' Ichigo thought impressed as he twisted his body avoiding being impaled by Dante's devil wings and then he went to slash upwards at him but it was blocked by two devil wing Dante had yet retracted but Ichigo overpowered him and sent him flying into the air.
"Getsuga Tenshou" he shouted sending a large black slash directly at Dante who was in the air attempted to deflect the attack with his large red fist punching the attach, however it seemed to be stronger than he expected as he managed to deflect the worst of it but it left several deep cuts around his arm however once he landed they quickly healed.
"I forgot how strong your healing factor is" Ichigo said, his voice sounding slightly distorted.
"And I forgot how sharp that sword of yours is" Dante said sounding the same as he always did as he threw two large holy shuriken at him which Ichigo easily dodged and then went for an overhead sword slash which Dante blocked and then while he blocked he poked Ichigo in the eyes causing him to fall back covering his eyes and was then hit in the back by the shuriken's Dante threw earlier.
"Like I said you're the weakest" Dante said slashing Ichigo across the chest getting a critical hit as blood flew from his body as he staggered back and fell in his.
"You always have to be the good guy don't you" Dante said summoning his demonic battle axe and preparing to swing.
"And look where that got you" he said preparing to take off Ichigo's head.
"No you won't" Kiba shouted jumping in front of Dante and grabbing Zangetsu slashing him across the chest.
"Ow you little shit" Dante shouted back handing Kiba causing him to drop Zangetsu as he was blown away but corrected himself as he summoned Gram and ran at him.
"Pathetic" Dante said not even flinching as the sword hit him.
"You couldn't stand up against me before what makes you think you stand a chance now" Dante said lazily.
"I am a knight of Rias Gremory, I am Kiba Yutton a swordsman and on my honour I will defeat you" Kiba said Summoning an enormous amount of demonic power in gram and slashed it across Dante's face managing to draw a little blood from his cheek.
"To do that I will exceed my limit and find a way to surpass you" Kiba yelled slashing at him again only for Dante to easily deflect it and then aimed his sword directly at his heart.
"Can't do that if you're dead" he said uncaringly slamming the blade forward, however it did not hit its intended target as instead of Kiba's heart in hit Ichigo's hand going through it slightly but it stopped it from harming Kiba.
"If a kid can make you bleed by surpassing his limits, then I can defeat you by doing the same thing" Ichigo said as he released more spiritual energy then he had ever before as he punched Dante in the face sending him flying back, then in an instant he was behind him and then grabbed the back of his head and slammed it into the floor.
"That's the thing about being having no cause to fight for" Ichigo shouted slashing his sword down at Dante who blocks it creating a large crater in the ground.
"You don't have a cause worth risking everything and winning for" he continued grabbing him by his collar and head butting him breaking the mask that was on Ichigo's face making Dante feel dizzy as he dropped him back to his feet as Dante swayed around for moment.
"Now I'll show you my true power" Ichigo said raising his sword.
"1000% GETSUGA TENSHOU" Ichigo yelled slashing Dante across his chest as black energy consumed Dante causing him to silently scream in pain as he was subjected to the cut.
'That wasn't just an ordinary sword slice, it was thousands, maybe even millions I just couldn't see them all' Kiba thought in amazement as Ichigo appeared behind Dante and whispered.
"That strike wasn't enough to kill you, whether you live or die will be decided by the captain" and that was the last thing he said before Dante fell to the floor, his hair returning back to normal and Ichigo fell to one knee using his sword to keep himself from falling fully over.
"*pant* Dam I can't believe I actually did that" he said panting in exhaustion.
"KIBA" Issei yelled as he came along with a group of what Kiba assumed was healers as well as Asia who he was giving a piggy back to.
"Issei" Kiba replied in relief seeing his friend returning with assistance as the healers began to heal the group.
"Ichigo-san thank you for the assistance, but why are you here Zeref-San said you were on holiday" Issei said as tick mark appeared on Ichigo's head.
"That son of a bitch probably thought I couldn't handle the Lazy ass" he said annoyed.
"Showed him though" he said satisfied.
"Ichigo-san what will happen to Dante-san?" Issei asked.
"Don't know that's for the captain to decide" Ichigo said.
"He, he isn't going to kill him, right?" Issei asked sounding a little worried but Ichigo didn't have a chance to respond as a portal appeared to the side of them and out of it came Vergil carrying slash dog and the Purple witch who had attacked the Stiri school.
"Dante, Strada, what the hell is going on here" he shouted.
"I am sorry Vergil but we have lost our fight both me and your brother have been defeated, please surrender it will make it easier for everyone" Strada pleaded only for him to get a light sword seemingly summoned by Vergil right in his chest.
"Pathetic, I would expect as much from an old human but not from my own brother" Vergil said in disgust.
"Hold on a second did you just say brother" Ichigo said shocked.
"Of course, my name is Vergil son of Sparda and Eva, I am a Nephilim" he said spreading a pair of devil and Angel wings formed on his back as people looked on in shock.
"Oh crap I don't think I can take on another Nephilim" Ichigo said slowly getting back up but failed to do so as he fell back down.
"Yeah sorry this one's on you guys" Ichigo said. "
Alright my brother might have been merciful to you" Vergil said as Issei looked back over at the Damage the previous fight had done.
'He considers this merciful' Issei thought in anger.
"Don't think I will" Vergil said drawing his sword.
"DON'T THINK I WILL EITER" Issei shouted angrily entering balance breaker and shooting a large dragon shot at Vergil to which Vergil vanished in a blue light and ten appeared behind the dragon shot slicing it in half.
"Is this the red dragon emperor of the generation, you should be interesting" Vergil said in amusement.
"*cough* Vergil stop this shit already will you" Dante managed to get out after rolling in his back.
"You can shut up" Vergil shouted angrily kicking Dante in the stomach.
"I don't know why mum even bothered with a failure like you" he shouted kicking him again.
"Now you're just trying to be mean" Dante joked laughing which soon turned into coughing.
"I'll deal with you later, you've done a good job weakening this DXD team at least I'll be able to take them down without much trouble" Vergil said not caring at his brother's current state.
"Love you to bro" Dante said earning him kick in the face.
"Right screw this maybe I can get a combo for the number of Nephelines defeated" Ichigo said managing to stand up but was quickly back on the floor curtesy of a light sword in his gut.
"Maybe not best of luck guys" Ichigo said lying back in the floor.
"You can try all you like you'll fail, I will give you an opportunity to surrender now and I will kill you painlessly" Vergil said with a cruel smile.
"Go screw yourself" Issei shouted angrily.
"Looks like we have a volunteer" Vergil said raising his hand as a giant sword formed over Issei, too large for him to block in his current state.
'Oh crap' Issei thought not having the strength to block or the time to run away so did the only thing he could do, brace for impact, he waited for a moment for the sword to hit him, but it never did as he looked up he saw the light sword being blocked by boy with pale white hair and emerald eyes holding a big sword on his back which glowed green.
"Yo uncle, you look like you're in a spot of trouble" Basara said to his uncle as he used his power to banish the light sword from reality.
"Basara" Issei said in amazement.
"yeah once dad woke up, we had a little talk and now, well I've come to help you" He said as the light sword completely vanished.
"Just who the hell are you kid" Vergil shouted angrily as Basara swung his sword around and then pointed it at Vergil.
"I'm Basara Toujo prince of the empire of Altisia and the wielder of the apocalypse gear War" he said with a smirk.
(Moments earlier)
"*cough* *cough* Holy crap" Naruto shouted quickly sitting up from his bed.
"Man, why does it feel someone dropped a house on my chest" Naruto said rubbing his head and then flinched as he felt thumping on his chest.
"Ahhhhh" Gray cried happily thumping his father's chest with his tiny fists.
"Come on little man that's not good" he said picking him up and moving him to a nearby seat muttering.
"Ow,ow,ow" as he did.
"Now where the hell am I" he said looking around the room seeing he was in a hospital or something similar.
"The Kurosaki clinic" Ichigo said walking in.
"Well then how am I alive?" Naruto asked as Ichigo jabbed a needle into him.
"Ow" Naruto yelped.
"Relax it was just something for the pain" Ichigo said.
"Lord death hasn't finished regenerating your heart so I'd advise you avoid doing anything strenuous" Ichigo advised.
"What do you mean" Naruto said horrified.
"Yes, you'll have to stay out of combat" Ichigo said.
"Fuck that I can't have sex" Naruto yelled horrified.
"Look at it this way, you won't be having any more of these troublesome things for a while" Ichigo muttered patting Gray on the head as he walked past him.
"I heard Dante did this" Ichigo said.
"Yeah tore my heart right of my dam chest" Naruto said moving to sit on the side of the bed.
"Anyway, I've done all I can for now, the rest is up to Lord Death" Ichigo said.
"Your wife and son are having a little chat outside, I'll let them in" Ichigo said.
"Ichigo, bring him in alive, I want to speak to him" Naruto said as Ichigo nodded.
"Are you going to kill him?" Ichigo asked but Naruto did not reply only say there in silence.
"As you command captain" Ichigo said taking.
"Dana" Gray said to his father.
"Man it is going to be awkward explaining your first word if this doesn't go well" Naruto told his son who just looked at him confused.
"DANA" Gray shouted at him.
"I don't understand what you're saying Dana isn't a word" Naruto told him.
"DANA, DANA" Gray cried out angrily.
"Look I don't know what you're going on about" Naruto replied annoyed just as the door slammed open.
"DAD" Basara shouted running up to his father and jumping on his and hugging him.
"Ow ow Basara it's good to see you to but this really hurts" Naruto weakly manage to get out.
"HONEY" Serafall cried also jumping on top of him.
"I can see my ancestors, they're calling for me" Naruto muttered slowly passing out.
"Enough you fools" War said behind them and picked the two off of Naruto.
"Thank you, War" he said.
"I did not do it for you, I did it for my brother" War replied bluntly.
"Yeah that seems to be going around a lot these days" Naruto muttered.
"It's good to see you better darling" Serafall said giving him a kiss.
"Yep more or less good as new, inappropriate for the time I know but can you change out of your costume if I get an erection I might die" he said.
"Oh no you must be more injured then I thought if you don't want to be a pervert" Serafall shouted in a panic.
"Hey I'm not that bad" Naruto shouted back noticing Basara had been slowly making his way out of the room.
"Basara" Naruto said getting his sons attention.
"Come over here we need to have a talk" Naruto told him.
"Why don't we give the two some room little one" Serafall said picking up Gray and leaving the room.
"Dad, I'm sorry I couldn't help you and then when I saw you, I just got so angry" Basara apologised.
"Relaxed kiddo that isn't what I wanted to talk about, If anything I wanted to get some stuff off my chest" Naruto said gusty ring Basara to sit next to him, which he did.
"Look Basara, do you remember what you asked me a couple of weeks ago?" Naruto asked.
"Yes I asked you if I was ready to be a father" Basara said nervously.
"And I'm sure you're waiting for me to say no aren't you" Naruto said, not getting a reply but Basara's expression said it all.
"Look Basara, I know this will sound irresponsible of me but I'm not the person you should ask about this" Naruto told him.
"I'm not the person who's ready to give advice about being a parent I'm only learning with Gray, and I hate to say this but me not being there for you growing up was probably best for you, after your mother had died I wasn't even functioning as a human being and I would have been a terrible father to you, Jin has been a better father to you then I could ever be" he told his son who was listening to his every word like it was gospel.
"If you think that you as a man are in the right position to have children and become a father, then do as you think is best" Naruto finished looking at his son and waiting for his reply.
"When I was a kid I would always call uncle Jin dad and he would smile and call me his son, but then one day I called him that and he didn't smile and said that we needed to talk, he sat me down and told me I wasn't his son, he explained about mum and that he didn't know what had happened to you, I cried all day and night after that and uncle said at the end of it that he would never be my dad but he'd always be a father to me, I think I know what he meant by that now" Basara said.
"Look Basara I get that you want to be like me, not to be too humble but I'm the hero of your country and your father but you have so much more inside of you not as my son or a prince but as Basara, don't let your doubt in yourself hold you back" Naruto told him.
"I, I will" Basara said firmly then stood up.
"War come on we have something to do" Basara ordered.
"You think you can" War started but was silenced when Basara force him into his shroud form and wrapped him around his neck.
"I was a real dick to my uncle and some friends of his so I'm going to repay them, you better listen to me got it" Basara told War who didn't reply but went along with him.
"Hope you make a speedy recovery, I'll see you later Dad" Basara said giving his father a short salute and then taking off as Naruto looked up and began to chuckle.
"What do you know Sarah guess he takes after me in some ways after all" He said with a smile.
(Present)
"And I'm going to have to ask you to stand down now" Basara stated glaring at Vergil.
"Tough talk from you boy, I see no reason to fear a child such as yourself" Vergil Said unaffected by Basara's threats.
"Fine then why don't we let our swords do the talking" Basara said.
"Basara be careful this guy is no joke he's Dante's brother" Issei warned him.
"Don't worry uncle, I got this" Basara replied.
"Banishing shift" Basara shouted sending a banishing shift towards Vergil who replied with a slash from Yamamoto but to his shock the slash vanished when it hit the banishing shift and Vergil was forced to dodge the attack which continued afterwards and carved through the ground.
"Well it would seem this one is more troublesome then I thought" Vergil said with a smirk as he sheathed his sword and held it there for a moment before drawing it again, however nothing happened for a moment but then Basara quickly jumped out of the way as suddenly the area around Basara was full of slashes which cut the building that was nearby to pieces.
"Impressive reflexes but not impressive enough" Vergil said as it was revealed Basara took a couple of cuts on his arm from that attack but they healed relatively quickly.
"Not bad that sword is insanely shark" Basara said with a slight smirk.
"You like it, the demonic sword Yamamoto, one of my father's many blades" Vergil said.
"I do it's such a shame I'll have to destroy it" Basara shouted appearing above him within seconds bringing his sword down upon the Nephilim who promptly blocked it.
'Boy, this sword is powerful I doubt with your current control you will be able to use banishing shift to damage it' War Warned his wielder telepathically.
'Then I just need to hit his body' Basara replied landing in his feet and delivering a spinning slash attack which was once again blocked, Basara was then forced to somersault backwards to avoid light swords that where rapidly being fired at him and was forced to block a couple with his sword before he plunged it into the ground summoning a large number of swords that surrounded Vergil who flew into the air to avoid them, however the swords went higher than he expected and was cut by a couple of them.
"Impressive but not quite impressive enough" Basara said which angered Vergil having his own insult flung back at him.
"Pathetic human" He shouted flying down and flinging his sword sheathe at Basara who blocked it with his sword but it pushed him back a fair bit and then was forced to swiftly avoid a slash from Yamoto so that he wasn't decapitated.
"You are the weakest of all the races and yet you control this word" He said angrily slashing at Basara who was struggling to avoid and block them all.
"Yet me, a Nephilim, a perfect hybrid with power that surpasses the gods am treated like a freak" he shouted sending a particularly hard slash diagonally which managed to break Basara's stance causing him to get a nasty slash across the top of his chest.
"It's pathetic why did father have to breed with an angel if I were a full-blooded devil I could rule all of hell" he shouted bringing his sword down upon the young man whom to his shock caught the blade in his hand.
"You dare" he said as blood trickled from his hand down his arm.
"Speak that way about your mother" he shouted angrily as War transformed into his shroud form.
"WAR SHROUD SECOND FORM" He yelled transforming unusually quickly and delivered a brutal punch directly into Vergils face doing big damaged and sending him flying back as Basara summoned Ruin to quickly catch up to him and whilst he was flying back delivered a vicious sword slash down upon the man who blocked it with his sword but the force of the impact pushed him to the ground.
"Don't think I'd go down so easily" Vergil said before shouting.
"ANGEL TRIGGER" as his body exploded with holy energy and with his new power summoned a light sword that went at Basara with incredible speeds but before the sword hit him Vergil teleported to the sword and punched Basara in the face and then while he was staggering Vergil slashed rapidly all across Basara's body.
"You've got talent kid, but you're still just a green child, if you had a few years' experience you just might have beaten me" Vergil told him as he brought his sword up to Basara's neck.
"DRAGON SHOT" Issei yelled sending a large dragon shot into Vergil's back.
"Hey asshole that's for my friends" Issei shouted at him.
"Oh, you are so dead" Vergil said angrily turning around, this however turned out to be a mistake as Basara stabbed his sword through his chest.
"Stabbed in the back huh, you don't think that will stop me?" Vergil said as he began to pull the sword out of his chest.
"No but this will" Basara said as his eyes glowed a bright green as well as his sword and Vergil suddenly froze.
"W-what is this" Vergil stuttered unable to do anything.
"Vergil, you may not have been able to be accepted in this world a Nephilim, but know I accept you as a Warrior" Basara said before in a bright light Vergil was banished from reality.
"Ah man time for a nap" Basara said before he passed out.
"Crap holy and demonic energy stings like hell" Ichigo complained as he got his injuries healed.
"You can say that again Ichigo-san" Basara said while he was getting healed next to him.
"Hey you guys what are we going to with him" Issei asked gesturing over to Dante who was heavily chained up as well as having magic circles surrounding him.
"That's for captain to decide" Ichigo told him.
"No he will be taken to trial and be judged by a group of Angels, Fallen angels and Devils like the rest of the rebel group" Sona told him.
"Am I now, hey Ichigo look at me I'm going to go on trial wana be my lawyer ha ha ha" Dante laughed.
"Just sit still and shut up I'm pretty sure captains on his way" Ichigo told him.
"Dante if possible I'd like to apologise for this" Strada said to Dante.
"Shut up old man" Dante said not showing any emotion or looking at the elderly man.
"Right you idiot, just come out with it, what's the deal why'd you betray the captain surly not just for your shit of a brother" said an irritated Ichigo.
"What, you wouldn't betray captain if it meant your family would be safe?" Dante asked rhetorically.
"Obviously but I'd at least make sure he's dead so he couldn't come after me" Ichigo replied.
"Good to see you're so loyal Ichi-buddy" Naruto said appearing on the side lines.
"BRO" Issei shouted relieved to see his brother was okay.
"Hey Issei, you look like you've seen better days" Naruto said greeting his brother.
"yYah well you know who to thank for that" Issei said gesturing over to Dante.
"Well thanking him wasn't the plan" Naruto said as walked over to the prisoner in question.
"Yo Dante you look like crap" Naruto said.
"Yep can you believe it I actually got beat by Ichigo" he said before he burst out laughing.
"You did man you must really suck if you lost to that guy" Naruto said as he joined his companion in laughing.
"That stopped being funny ages ago" Ichigo angrily said through gritted teeth.
"Ah well at least I get to go out with a smile" Dante said as he lowered his head.
"It's always a good way to go" Naruto said pulling a pistol and putting it to Dantes head.
"STOP, PLEASE" Strada shouted gaining Naruto's attention as well as the others.
"Dad what are you doing" Basara shouted in shock as he stood up to stop his father but was stopped by Ichigo putting his hand on his shoulder.
"Stop kid" Ichigo told him.
"Stop how can you just stand by and watch this?" Basara shouted at him.
"You don't see Dante begging for his life do you" Ichigo said as Dante was not complaining and had his head down.
"But Ichigo-San you said he had a death wish and he doesn't care if he lives or dies because he wasn't excepted in this world, it just isn't right he's your friend, your comrade" Basara shouted.
"I don't like seeing him die Basara he was my friend and he's saved my life more times than I can count, but he betrayed the captain and broke his oath, we may be a bunch of criminals but even we honour" Ichigo told Basara sadly.
"Please if you must punish him do so, I only ask that if you must take a life you take mine even if it is a worthless old one" Strada begged.
"Your eminence" Xenovia shouted in horror.
"Do you except the deal Dante?" Naruto asked his friend who opened his eyes for a moment but was still staring at the ground.
"Dante it's all my fault your life has turned out the way it has, I thought by spreading rumours that Eva and Sparda only had one son that it would keep the other safe, but all it did was dam them both maybe if the two of you had been together, with someone like you, you both could have been happier, let my life pay for my mistake" Strada said to Dante as there was a moment of silence that was broken only when Dante said.
"Very well" and Naruto turned his pistol to Strada.
"Goodbye, know that with your death another's life lives on, however for how long it cannot be known" Naruto said to the old man as the people around him begged him not to do it.
"That is fine with me" Strada said closing his eyes and smiling.
"Goodbye church Warrior" Naruto said pulling the trigger as a bullet went through Strada's head killing him instantly getting reaction ranging from disgust, anger, sadness and fear from all around him.
"Y-you killed him" Teodoro said in shock.
"A life has been taken and the debt has been paid, with this seven becomes six" Naruto said sullenly.
"That was surprisingly intense captain" Dante said.
"The man just gave his life for yours you should take it seriously" Naruto said putting his hands and his pockets and walking away.
"And it's just Naruto now".
"You know what I need right now, a harmonica" Dante said to himself having now been banished from the seven deadly sins and was blindfolded and taken to God only knows where, well Dante doubted even God knew where he was, he could try and figure it out or even break free, but he was tired of running.
"Maybe I can take up a new hobby, whittling could be fun but I doubt they would let me have a knife" Dante said.
"Special privileges can be earned, for good behaviour" the angelic voice of Gabriel said as he noticed her at his cell doors.
"Ah looks like it's lecture time for me" Dante said with a smirk.
"Before we get into it l, mind telling me where the hell I am?" Dante asked.
"For now, you are being held in a simple cell in the human realm, after your trial if you are found guilty, I am not certain where you will be sent" Gabriel told him.
"Maybe a nice vineyard" Dante said and then laughed.
"You are making it difficult to love you Dante" Gabriel said suddenly, changing the mood entirely.
"Well your constant refusal to except your emotions doesn't make it any easier" Dante replied.
"I accept the emotions I feel for you Dante, I just don't wish to fall because of them" Gabriel said back to him.
"Well then looks like this isn't ever going to go anywhere" Dante said to her.
"I'm sorry Dante" she apologised to him.
"Well not sure how today can get any worse, unless your ere to tell me I have cancer" Dante said.
"No you've dodged that" Gabriel said with a light smile.
"Goodbye Dante I hope you can find happiness in your life" she said before walking off not knowing if she would ever see him again.
"You want to know why I did it" Dante said suddenly.
"For mum" he said which made Gabriel angry.
"Do you think your mother would have approved of your treacherous behaviour?" she said angrily.
"If I remember she ran off with dad and was considered a traitor" he said.
"Anyway I'll start at the beginning when they died"
(Flashback, night Strada and Eva died)
"MUM DAD WHERE ARE YOU" A young Dante shouted in fear, his house currently being attacked by people he didn't know but were all wearing cross necklaces.
"SPARDA YOU SHALL PAY FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO LADY EVA" He heard a man shout and saw a younger looking Strada bring down Durandal upon Rebellion that Sparta was currently wielding.
"If loving her is wrong then I choose to be so" Sparta yelled pushing his Durandal back.
"Dante what's going on who are these people" Vergil shouted appearing behind Dante.
"Dante, Vergil the two of you must leave here at once" Sparta yelled taking his eyes off of Strada which proved to be a mistake as he slashed Sparta across the back with his and Durandals full power killing the Devil almost instantly.
"Father" the two children yelled watching their father fall as his sword was thrown over to them and Dante picked it up and Vergil his begin him.
"You are his children" Strada said in shock as an exorcist that had been behind him heard as well and pulled a gun out.
"Demon spawn made when that man raped lady Eva no doubt they must die" the man said not waiting for a response as he pulled out a pistol and shot at the two of them.
"No" Eva cried coming out of nowhere and taking the bullets that where meant for his children.
"Lady Eva" Strada shouted in despair as he watched the only woman he had ever love die.
"YOU" he shouted enraged at the exorcist and began to beat on him.
"MOTHER" Dante cried watching blood dribble from her mouth.
"It's okay my darlings" she said bringing her hand up to stroke Dantes face and another to caress the back of Vergils head.
"Your father and I will not be there to protect you anymore, so promise me that the two of you will look after one another" She said, tears streaming down her face.
"I I promise mum" Dante sobbed while Vergil was crying too much to be able to reply.
"Please try to remember the world as is may not accept you as you are but I pray to my father that one day the two of you shall be able to walk in the light of this world together" she said with a sad smile.
'My son I give you one final gift as unique and special as you are' Eva thought as she moved the last of her life essence into Rebellion adding the holy element to the demonic sword and then finally she passed on to join her husband and father.
"Mother no" Vergil sobbed.
"Lady Eva" Strada whispered dropping the bloody corpse of the man who killed her.
"YOU BASTARDS" Dante yelled enraged as tears still poured down his face.
"WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST LEAVE US ALONE" He shouted as out of his back 6 giant jet black Devil wings and six giant golden Angel sprouted for all the world to see.
"My god" Strada said making a cross on his chest as he witnessed a miracle born into this world.
(Flashback end)
"And then good old uncle Strada took me and Vergil into the church, we were together for a while until he decided to split us up, that's when I came into your care" Dante said.
"Why are telling me this now?" Gabriel asked him.
"Why not if I never get free at least someone can know my story" Dante said.
"And what story is that?" She asked.
"My story, the story of the first and the last of the Nephilim"
"It wasn't right you had no right" a voice shouted from within the greedy Raven as Issei stood outside listening.
"What's going on in there" Issei wondered putting his ear up against the door.
"He was willing to die for Dante he excepted his death" another voice said.
"You shouldn't have tried to kill Dante he was your friend" the other voice shouted back.
"Is that Basara and Bro" Issei said.
"It is" a dark, smooth voice said behind Issei as he jumped back and saw Alucard behind him smirking.
"My masters spawn is angry at him for killing that old man, not that it matters my master has killed many before him" Alucard said with a cruel smirk.
"Well he was just an old man" Issei sad as Alucard began to laugh.
"So, what, do you think just because he was old he deserved to live, that man had killed more of your kind then you can count and not all of them innocent" he said as he turned into darkness and surrounded Issei.
"In fact, from what I understand you almost saved your brother the trouble and tried to off the old man" Alucard chuckled.
"T-that was because Dante tricked me, and it was to save my friend" Issei told him.
"You lie as well as your brother boy, admit it you hated the way a mere elderly human was able to overpower you, a person who is hosting an overgrown lizard, that Lord value their pride almost as much as the monkey" Alucard said as he began to get amused.
"Admit it there is a great deal of darkness within you" he said as he transformed into a woman and whispered in his ear.
"Won't you show it to me" she said mischievously as Issei's eyes turned red for a moment.
"What are you up to Alucard?" Naruto asked opening the door to see Alucard seemingly try to seduce his brother.
"Nothing inappropriate my master" Alucard said whilst changing back into his male form.
