Honestly, Tahu didn't know what to expect when they landed. He sure wasn't exactly expecting a red carpet, given that the populace wasn't much a fan of the Kingdom, and well, they did count (reprogramed) Imperial Droid and an actual former Dawn Agent among their number.

So when they impacted, he was only half suprised to find themselves surronded by dozens of soldiers. Well, actually, make that, completly unsuprised, given that they had the misfourtune of crashing just outside of a Nigerian army outpost.

"Well. We're off to a great start."K2 said,as they waited in their holding cell for their integrator. Honselty though, the fact that they just left five beings of varying degrees of power in some simple one windowed cell with no guards-"

"Listen K2, I know you're frustrated, but somehow I don't think punching our way out of here will make them like us all that much." Guile quipped.

Tahu nodded. "Listen, we just need to talk to the guy In charge and explain that we're with a resistance group."He explained.

"Yes. Because they'll obviously listen. It's not like the Kingdom has a reputation for lying to people." K2 said.

"Listen. Unless you have any better ideas, I think it's our best bet." And that would be Silver.

"Well. You got me convinced." Another voice chimmed in. Tahu turned his head to see the speaker-a gruff bearded man smoking a cigar. Next to him was another man, probably another solider, wearing a pair of headphones and a backwards baseball cap.

"So, Tahu, eh?"

"How do you know my name? Who are you?"

"John Price. Captain, 22nd Special Air Service Regiment. Antroz told me all about you mate. Thought you didn't make it." The man-Price-said

"Antroz? He's alive? And you know him?" A now perplexed Tahu said.

"Yes, and yes. In fact, he and what's left of the Brotherhood have set up shop not far from here."

"Great. We need to warn him. We need to warn everyone that-"

"Let me guess, the Kingdom Fleet is coming to crush us?" Price quizzed.

"...Yeah actually. How'd you know?" Tahu asked.

"That's about the one of the only reasons why anyone besides the Kingdom would come to this planet. Anyways, we have a lot to discuss. So how about you and your colleagues come with me."

"Wait your just going to trust them, just like that?" The man with Price asked.

"Nikolai, I appreciate the concern, but if they were Kingdom spies,I would've noticed and plugged them full of bullets by now and thrown their bodies into the river in time for breakfast." The Captain explained coldly.

"Well, you're intimating." Guile said.

"Anyways...yeah, I guess we have to go with you...but how are we gonna ge there exactly."

"Any of you ever fly in a helicopter?" Nikolai asked.

Ramirez honestly didn't know what to say. The base was fuc'king huge. Probally to accommodate the sea of troops that swarmed through the base, and their firepower. And these weren't just Nigerian or American soldiers. There were Japanese, Russians(he could've sworn he saw Foley spit in the direction of one of the Russians...yeah, he was still bitter over the whole 'Russian Invasion' thing) Austrlians, New Zealanders, hell, even those from occupied countries like Free British Forces, the FVF, the German Exile Force, and probally a few more.

Obviously, something big was going down here. And soon. After getting to D.C, they ended up being debriefed and redeployed, this time to Nigeria with the rest of the 75th Rangers. Unfortunately, this was around the time he was reuntied with Foley, the asshat. Fortunately, Rex was still around and in charge, so yeah. The brass said that the Brotherhood were not only still around, but have even managed to to devolpe an Interdimensional portal system. Something that could be used to transport...say, a small army looking to live to fight another day. Not to mention some British dude had requested them for his own special forces unit.

Linkara had mentioned he had some friends still hanging around. He trying to get into contact with them so they could meet them there.

"Listen. I know they're you're friends and all, but really, is it worth breaching OPSEC just to tell them over here." Dunn had asked the comic geek on the flight to Nigeria.

"I abandoned them once. I ain't doing it again." Linkara answered.

BIF was brought along too, for no other reason other than he had no where else to be. He complained the whole way there-probally because he wasn't given a seat and was thrown around by turbulence. But hey. That was neither here nor there.

Anyways, back to the plot. The group was brought the into the underground section of the base. One of the Aussies told him it went real deep. He wasn't kidding. The elevator ride to the very bottom, where they were supposed to be given the specfics of their 'top secrect mission' was supposed to take place.

The room was just one huge open space, marred by control panels being used by some techies, a podium, and what looked like the portal thing from-

"Man. The remake of Stargate is weird."

Yeah, what Linkara said.

"Dunno man. Looks kinda a giant ring...mabye we're just making Galactus's engagement ring." Dunn said.

"Yeah. I'm with Linkara on this one. Looks kinda like some sh'it outta Stargate." Ramirez added.

"Cut the chatter. CO is supposed to arrive by now." Rex said.

A few moments later, another few groups showed up-Tahu and his allies.

"Didn't know there were any Toa left." Rex whispered.

"Gentlemen." And thatsould be this Price dude. "I hear you've already been briefed on the situation. Saves me time. The Brotherhood is already planning on fleeing this planet, and they've agreed to bring along a contingent of Coalition forces. They've got into contact with the local reistance on the other side of the partol. Some blokes called the UNSC. Now, if the Kingdom decides to interupt us during the evacuation, you're going to go out there and give them hell until the Brotherhood has evacuted. After that, you get the hell out."

The briefing was interupted by a Nigerian Officer running in.

"Sir. It's the Kingdom. Their fleet has just arrived. They've delivered an ultimatium for the world's governments to surrender." The man breathlessly explained.

"Damnit. Everyone, look alive. Those bast'ards will be showing up in force any minute now."

"And you said this was going to be boring." Linkara told Ramirez.

Kix's first impersion of the UNSC forces was mixed to say the least. On the one hand, most of everyone was quick to distrust him given he used to work for the Kingdom. On the other, the Reds and Blues, while not coming off as sane or comptent(with the exception of those teo Freelancers) where friendly enough. Caboose didn't seem to understand the stigma of being friends with a former Kingdom solider, but hey, it counts.

Otherwise, the only UNSC troops who didn't instantly distrust him where Johnson, this ODST named Buck, and this Spartan sniper, Jun.

But Johnson clearly thought highly enough of both him and Gali to bring them along to the briefing. Also present where Buck and his squad, Jun, and the Freelancers

"This is our target." The Sergeant pointed to a photo of a Kingdom base situzted deep in the himlayas. "It has come to our attention that the Kingdom is holding an HVT here. And whoever's here, must warrant some serious secuirty. In addition to the location, recon has put the numbers of KDC and allied troops at battlion level on the outer permiter alone."

"Now, the plan is for the Marines and the Sim Troopers to move in from the front for a diversionary attack. Meanwhile, we'll drop in via Pelican a few miles away from the base and enter discretley. By the time we get there, they Kingdom should be distracted enough for us to enter undetected."

"If all goes well, by the time we're discovered, it'll be tol late. We'll have extracted the HVT and gotten the hell out. Any questions?"

"Yeah. Why don't we bring the Reds and Blues along for our part of the mission?"

The Reds and Blue's Resident AI fragment would be the one to answer. "Wash. Geninuenly think about what you just said. You want those guys...to come along on a stealth mission."

"Oh. Right. Listen I-"

"No. I want you to think about it. Don't worry. I'l give you a minute."

"Okay...any other questions?" Johnson interupted.

"Who are we rescuing?" Kix asked.

"That's on a need to know basis. Alright. Everyone head to the armory and gear up. We leave in an hour. Dismissed."
