Once Cagalli calmed down, Kira helped her sit up.
"Are you feeling better" asked Kira
"A little" said Cagalli
"Are you up to seeing everyone else" asked Kira
"Yes" said Cagalli
"Let's head to the hanger then, Yugito wanted us to go there" said Kira
"Why is that" asked Cagalli
"I think some of Orb's forces joined us" said Kira
"Ok" said Cagalli
Kira helped Cagalli get up and they left their room and went to the hanger. When they got there, they saw Yugito waiting outside for them.
"Are you feeling better Cagalli" asked Yugito seeing them
"Yes" said Cagalli nodding her head
"Who joined us" she asked
"An officer, multiple pilots along with their Murasames, and some soldiers" said Yugito
"Ino has already checked them all out and they are all loyal to you" she said
"That's good" said Cagalli
"I want to talk to all of them" she said
"I will go tell them that you are here" said Yugito going inside
A little while later Yugito came back out.
"They are ready" said Yugito
Cagalli took a deep breath and let it out. Kira took her hand and squeezed it.
"No matter what, I am with you" said Kira
"Any dissension will be dealt with swiftly" said Yugito
"Thank you" said Cagalli smiling
They went into the hanger and saw all the Orb soldiers gathered there with Lieutenant Amagi in front of them.
"Lady Cagalli, we apologize for not following your orders" said Amagi bowing
"You have nothing to apologize for" said Cagalli
"You were just following orders" she said
"It's all my fault" she said
"No, it's not" said Amagi quickly
"Yes, it is" said Cagalli sadly
"If I have been strong enough to handle the ministers, this would have never happened" she said
"But no more" she exclaimed
"I will restore Orb to the way it supposed to be, following our ideals" she said
"Will you help me" she asked
"Yes ma'am" said all the Orb soldiers saluting
"Thank you" said Cagalli
"But why did you join us now" she asked
"It was Captain Todaka's last order for us to make for all the sacrifices made" said Amagi
"Then let's not let all those sacrifices be in vain" said Cagalli
"What is our plan now" asked Amagi
"Once we confirm that the Orb fleet is going home, we will do the same" said Cagalli
"We will figure out our next steps there" she said
"Yes ma'am" said Amagi saluting
Once the Orb fleet started heading home, the Archangel started to do the same. Only to receive a distress call.
"All command personnel to the bridge" ordered Murrue
Everyone ran onto the bridge.
"What is the problem" asked Cagalli
"Look at this" said Murrue
On the main monitor it showed the Destroy destroying everything around it.
"What the hell is that" shouted Toki
"It's huge" said Isaribi
"I think it may be bigger than me" said Matatabi
"I did not need to know that" thought Yugito
Stella started shivering when she saw it.
"What is the matter Stella" asked Kira
"I have a feeling one of them is piloting it" said Stella
"It could have been me" she said shivering
Kira quickly held her helping her calm down.
"It is a new Federation machine rampaging across Eurasia" said Murrue
"It has already destroyed 3 cities and annihilated all the forces in them" she said
"We need to destroy that thing" said Cagalli
"We are already on route to its next target, Berlin" said Murrue
"Hopefully we get there in time" said Ino
After they left the bridge, they headed to the cafeteria to plan out their attack.
Along the way, Kira asked "Are you feeling better now Stella"
"Yes, thank you" said Stella
They arrived at the cafeteria and sat down to discuss their plan of attack.
"It would be best to stick to CQC" said Kira
"I will have the Murasames keep the other mobile suits off us" said Cagalli
"It would be best for you to join the Murasames Stella" said Kira
"With how easy it crushed those BuCUEs" he added
"I understand" said Stella
Cagalli left to inform the Murasame pilots of their task.
When they arrived in Berlin, the Destroy was already attacking it. Everyone launched from the Archangel and headed towards their tasks. The Gaia transformed into it mobile armor form and took off towards the ZAFT mobile suits while the Murasames went after the Alliance mobile suits. The Freedom, Strike Rouge, and Saviour drew their beam sabers and charged towards the Destroy.
The Destroy fired its cannons that the 3 Gundams easily dodged. It then fired it cannons along the circumference of its top that the 3 Gundams dodged as well. It finally tried firing multiple missiles from its missile pods only for the Freedom to destroy them. They went to attack it only for it to deploy its shield. But they noticed it only covered its front.
"Get behind it Yugito" shouted Kira
The Saviour transformed into its Mobile Armor formed and jetted behind the Destroy and changed back. It then chopped off its cannons. That caused the Destroy to start transforming causing the 3 Gundams to back up.
"It's transforming" said Yugito
"Into a giant mobile suit" said Cagalli
"Which means it has the same weaknesses" said Kira
Once it finished transforming, the Destroy fired its 3 chest cannons that the 3 Gundams dodged. It then launched its arms that flew towards them firing its finger cannons.
"Damn" growled Kira
"We will deal with these things while you take it out" he said
"Ok" said Cagalli
The Freedom and Saviour fired at the arms only for them to deploy shields as well.
"Even they have shields" shouted Yugito
The Freedom and Saviour took out their beam sabers again and started chasing the arms around.
"I can do this" thought Cagalli
An amber seed exploded in her mind.
The Strike Rouge charged forward. The Destroy fired its mouth cannon that the Strike Rouge dodged. It continued to fire it as the Strike Rouge got closer. Panicking, it fired its chest cannons that the Strike Rouge easily dodge. It then tried firing multiple missiles from its pods. The Strike Rouge avoided all of them knowing she didn't have time to take them out.
"I need to take this thing out now" thought Cagalli
In desperation, the Destroy tried to call back its arms giving the Freedom and Saviour the chance to destroy them.
The Strike Rouge arrived at the Destroy and sliced open the cockpit. It then stabbed into it killing the pilot.
"You're clear Archangel" said Cagalli flying away
The Archangel fired it Lohengrin at the Destroy destroying it.
"Everyone reports it" said Cagalli
"I'm fine" said Stella
"Everyone is present and accounted for" said an Orb pilot
"Thank goodness" said Cagalli sighing in relief
Once everyone was back on board, the Archangel left starting on its way back to Orb.
A few days later the Chairman broadcasted a speech to everyone on the Earth and PLANTs. He talked about the recent event showing doctored footage of the Destroy being destroyed not showing who did it.
"He cut us out of destroying that thing and taking credit for it" shouted Cagalli
"Of course, no one will notice they didn't see anyone actually taking that thing out" grumbled Kira
The Chairman continued saying that the real enemy, the real reason the war broke out, is LOGOS. He then displayed all the members of LOGOS on the screen as he finished his speech.
"There are multiple members of Orb on there" said Cagalli horrified
"He is making his move" said Kira
"He must have been a former member of this group to get all this information" said Ino
"But why is he trying to make himself seem like some sort of savior" asked Isaribi
"Maybe so everyone will follow whatever he says" said Yakumo
"It is good thing we are already well on our way to Orb or ZAFT would have attacked us" said Kira
"When we fight back, he would claim we support LOGOS" said Yugito
"Given the size of that list, he would claim anyone that opposes him is a part of LOGOS" said Ino
"That must be a reason why he wants to be seen as a savior" said Yakumo
"But it can't be the main reason" said Kira
"Hopefully Lacus and Tenten can find out that reason" he said
"We need to get to Orb now" said Cagalli
Over the next few days it was all over the news about people rising and arming themselves attacking members of LOGOS. They showed multiple pictures of destroyed office buildings and mansions.
"Where are they finding these weapons" asked Toki
"They have to be using military weapons to cause that sort of damage" she said
"They are probably Alliance weapons ZAFT 'accidentally' left behind" said Kira
Soon after that the Chairman gave another speech distancing himself from those attacks while subtlety telling them to continue them.
"He knows just what he is saying" said Kira
"I am just glad that nothing is happening in Orb yet" said Cagalli in relief
