Note From The Author
Hello everyone! Apologies if you were excited for a new chapter when you saw that I posted a new update. I wanted to let everyone know that I do intend to keep writing this story; however there may be longer breaks in between chapters because I have decided to rework this story in its entirety. I recently posted a new story called "Life In London or Something New Take 2". It will include added scenes, and essentially the same story and plot line, sometimes even word for word segments or chapters. I started writing "Something New" in 2012 and my writing and myself have grown since then and I believe it is worth my time to try again with certain chapters and do my best to really do this story justice, or at least do my best to show the readers how I see it in my head. Now with Silvio's untimely passing it has become apparent that the sad truth is we will most likely never see a real update for these amazing characters. However even Silvio once said that it is up for the viewers to decide what happened after the credits rolled, and in my humble opinion we deserved something more concrete. They hinted and gave so many clues, and considering how the original telenovela ended, I believe we were somewhat cheated. So here's my take on what happened after the "Ugly" faded away. So please dear readers consider hopping over to my new story "Life in London" and let's go on this journey together again. If you need more incentive, the new tale begins right where the show ended. You'll see scenes of "that" dinner, more supporting characters both from the show and of my own creation, and best of all, it's completely and totally Detty! Please let me know what you'd like to read and see my take on, as I'm always open to ideas and prompts. I promise to update this properly as soon as possible. Until then, check out "Life in London"!
