Summary: So, he could snap his fingers and get what he wants, right? Well...pretty much, and it was no different with his beloved Kagome...though, she didn't do it because he snapped his fingers and expected it to be done, it was to humor him, because when they were alone...it was nothing like that. He respected her beauty, and her talent, but he refused to let anyone else see that talent. That is...until he overhears a direct challenge to his girl, and watches as she struggles between his orders and her pride...

Kagome sat on the fusion leg press workout machine. Her earbuds in as she gripped the handgrips that were recording her pulse whatever else they read. She pushed her feet out straight, the motion causing her seat to move backwards before she came forward again. Repeating the action continuously as she lost herself to the world of J-Pop and J-Rock. "-ate ni naranai chizu yaiteshimaeba ii sa…umoreta shinjitsu kono tenohira de tsukamitorou~" She was singing softly under her breath, her eyes closed as she finished her leg presses. Relaxing for a moment before she stood and stepped around the machine to rest her arms on the armrests behind the seat. Her back flat to the padded cushion, she positioned herself so that she was suspended in the air by an inch before lifting her legs straight without the slightest bend to them.
Hanamura walked over to her and brought her hand beneath her tennis shoes, not touching them, but holding her hand there. Kagome stared straight into the woman's reflective and calculating eyes. Her legs remained suspended as she kept them hovering above the woman's hand.
'What is she doing? Taunting me?! Kami, my legs are starting to burn.' She forced herself to block out the pain in her legs and focus on the music. 'What's playing, come on Kagome, you can do this. Don't think about your legs...the song, the song...it's, Brave by Arashi...just listen to the music. Never give up~ Heh, that's right...I've got this!' As her legs had started to lowed towards Hanamura's hand, she raised them up in a perfect ninety degree angle once more.
"Very good,"
Kagome couldn't here her, but she could see her lips and the smile on the woman's face. Her hand dropped and Kagome lowered her legs. Not setting herself down, she was scared she'd collapse. After a few seconds, and once she was sure the woman wasn't looking, she placed her feet down on the ground before relaxing against the armrests. There was a sheen of sweat across her forehead, and her palms were no better. 'Nice...I'll sleep well tonight,' she sighed, glancing at the clock and laughing to herself. It wasn't even noon yet.
A hand came up in front of her and pulled one of her earbuds out. "Tezuka-Chan, get on the bike,"
"Sensei, you are only working my legs, by any chance, are you trying to kill me?"
Hanamura smiled, "you are light on your feet, your legs are your secret weapon, Tezuka-Chan."
"But playing against guys, they have harder hits, wouldn't it make more sense to improve my physical strength in my arms and my grip then to just focus on my speed. I agree that speed is important, but it does me little good if I'm too weak to return the ball once I'm in front of it."
"Sound logic," she sighed, "try to put your faith in me, Tezuka-Chan. I won't fail you."
'...saying something like that.' Kagome couldn't help but sigh as a smile found her eyes, "very well, I will trust in Hanamura-Sensei. Please take care of me." Kagome bowed before walking over to the bikes. Two of them were being used by the twins, she climbed onto the one beside Ryou. Popping the earpiece back in before she turned the bike on and adjusted the setting. Being ever goal oriented, she couldn't just run on the bike. No, absolutely not. She chose a terrain setting. Mountain settings were always great fun.
Choosing one that had six increases in difficulty, and six decreases, she relaxed into the easiest part of the ride until she was to go "downhill". I was a forty-minute Bike setting, so thirty minutes up hill and ten minutes down. She would feel this in her legs tonight, but who really cared about pain? Not her!

Keigo watched Kagome as she started on the bike, pulling the bicep bar down in front of his eyes, exhale, inhale, lift and down, exhale, inhale...it was repetitive, but nothing he couldn't do.
"Let's add another twenty pounds, Atobe-Kun."
He waited as she moved the pin on the machine, once he saw both her hands away from the weights, he started lifting again. There was no change in speed, no change in pull or release. He simply continued as he normally did. The weights were less than what an average young adult weighed anyways. He was used to Mukahi hanging off of him and then holding Kagome in his arms. He was confident in his upper arms strength. Hell, he was confident in his overall strength. Something sounded in the room, a machine buzzed, and the room turned to see Kagome's bike lifting in the front a bit.
"Wah! Look at this, my first female specimen is pushing herself so hard!" Hanamura brought her hands to her face as a blush touched lightly across cheeks. "This makes me want to push you boys even harder~!"
"Eh!?" Ryou, Amane and Wakato looked disgruntled by the woman's sudden surge of high. They turned to Kagome who was none the wiser as she moved her lips to the music she was listening to, her eyes closed to the world around her. Ryou who was closest to her could make out the slight rises in her music, a wonder she had any hearing at all with how loud it was.
"Excuse me. I came to deliver the towels and first-aid kit."
Hanamura smiled and walked away from Atobe, moving over to the girl that had just entered, "thank you for your hard work."
"Wow...this is pretty amazing."
"It is, isn't it? All of my dear students have plenty of individuality and are full of excellence, and everyone completely understands and follows the things I say." She blushed, "Sensei is very happy! Is it simply the result of my charismatic nature as a coach? Or, is it because of my vast popularity, I wonder?"
"I-I think so too..."
Keigo shook his head, returning his attention to the reps, he glanced to his left and smirked. "I see even Jyousei's Sensei is enamored most by popularity, this kind of school couldn't dream to surpass Hyotei."
Wakato scoffed, "you say that, maybe we should settle this on a court,"
"We have all day,"
"Iie, you won't be playing today. I already planned to see the two of you play, so you needn't worry. Patience~" Hanamura sighed as if she was falling in love, her eyes on Kagome who's bike had just shifted again in inclination.
"Hey~ just wanna fly over even for an instant," Kagome bobbed her head to the drums in her ears, "Hey~ outside of the order, to the far distant..." her eyes snapped open and she glanced around the room curiously, she was looking for something. Her eyes landing on the girl with the pigtails and she smiled and waved her over. Pulling an earbud from her ear, "What's your name?"
"O-Osakada, Tomoka..."
Kagome nodded, "Tomoka-Chan, could you grab me my water bottle? I left it by the leg press, and I can't get off the machine."
"Ah, hai!" The girl ran made her way to the machine and grabbed the water bottle, she frowned, "it's almost empty, should I go refill it?"
Kagome frowned, "would that be a problem?"
"Iie, I'll be right back!"
Kagome smiled and watched her run out of the room. She felt everyone staring at her, doing a quick one-eighty with her eyes, she smiled and shrugged her shoulders. "It's the Tezuka charm. Works or male and female alike." She put the earbud back in and blocked out their staring, only catching the start of Keigo's chuckle before music took over. It didn't take Tomoko long to return with a full water bottle, the bottle was cool from the chilled water she'd added to it. "Thank you, Tomoka-Chan."
Tomoka blushed, "I-Iie, if you need anything else, just let me know!"
Kagome smiled, watching the girl leave the room once more before she continued watching the screen. Her heart rate, pulse, the time and the speed at which she was running. She was on the last stretch of the incline, next would be the steep drop, the machine would end up shifting by raising in the back and dropping in the front. She really did enjoy this setting, but boy did it test her by pushing her to her limits. Stamina would never be her weakness, no...it was physical strength. Her body got sore after pushing herself so much, so hard.
Bike, bench presses, leg presses, squats, lunges, bicep chest reps, lateral pull-downs, cable bicep reps, cable triceps reps, chest press...even spending twenty minutes on the Rowing Machine. Kagome thought she'd kill over if it didn't end soon. So, when Hanamura clapped her hands and called it quits for the day, she mentally fell over and cried in an imaginary puddle of sweats. Well, the sweat wasn't as imaginary as she'd like it to be, but there wasn't a puddle, at least.
"You alive, Tezuka-Chan?"
'Ah, Kami...go away! I don't anyone to see me like this!' She smiled up at Wakato, "I'm great, I feel energized,"
He raised a brow, not believing her at all. "Really, you want to go play a practice match with me then?"
"Iie, I already mentioned this, but you can wait to play tomorrow. The four of you, I don't want to see you playing against one another without me there to watch the match." Hanamura sighed, "such energetic specimens~"
"Sensei, are you married?"
Hanamura-Sensei smiled, "no, there's no time for such things in my life right now. You know, Tezuka-Chan, you would look good in the Jyousei Tennis uniform, and I bet I could further your talents and skills with some time, wouldn't you like to come to Jyousei?"
Kagome smiled, closing her eyes as she stood up and stretched, "Iie, I'm a glutton for punishment, Sensei. I think I'll stick with Rikkai Dai."
"Oh, but if it's punishment you want,"
Kagome laughed, "how should I take that Sensei?"
Hanamura sighed, "I'll work hard, Tezuka-Chan." Her eyes turned glassy and a crimson sheen touched her cheeks. Hanamura brought a hand up to hide her cheeks as she walked away.
A towel settled in her line of sight as she shook her head and looked to see Keigo standing beside Wakato, he smiled humorously at her. "What?"
"You are going to be hurting all day tomorrow, so you better enjoy the rest of the day and night for all that you can."
'...well, naturally...' she smiled up at him as she took the towel in hand, "I plan to enjoy every moment here, whether I'm hurting or not."
"You say that now,"
Kagome had made it till eight o'clock when she finally talked herself into going to the health specialist and nurse for a muscle relaxant. She had discovered her new shadow along the way to the nurse. Smiling as the girl tagged along and talked the whole way to the nurse, she even walked the girl back to her own room. "Sleep well, Tomoka-Chan,"
"Ah, hai! You too, Tezuka-Senpai!"
'How cute,' she returned to her room, Keigo was in the shower if the running water was anything to go by. She sighed as the relaxants started to take effect, her muscle pain started ebbing away as she let gravity pull her towards her bed and closed her eyes. It didn't take long for sleep to draw her into its warm embrace.
She only slightly acknowledged the sound of Keigo opening and closing the bathroom door, her body responding in slight to the feel of a tender chill from a now cracked window before her blanket was pulled up over her body.

Glancing over at Kagome, his eyes lingered on her sleeping form before he glanced down at his phone. A small smile feathered across his lips as he let his eyes linger on the time before walking to the door. One quick look at Kagome. He turned his head and his eyes briefly passed over his bed before he left the room without a sound. The door closing softly as he made sure to hold the knob in a way that it didn't click when he closed the door. Walking off down the hall, he passed by a wideawake Kabaji who looked down at him. "Let's be on our way then,"
"Usu~"
