Destiny is a fickle thing that we cannot control nor can we reason with…
When it calls to us, we have little choice but to answer its request…
But the reason we fear it's call, is that we do not know what happens 'after' we heed it…
= Chapter 38, First Strike On Flare =
(David's PoV)
"It's been a while since we've been here…" He whispered to himself as they stared at the grassy meadow that is Route 10 while the sun was beginning to set.
Below them on the hill they were currently standing on was indeed Route 10, the site of the connecting route between Geosenge Town and Cyllage City. The route where the multitudes of standing stones, which were the remains of Pokemon who's life force were consumed to power the Ultimate Weapon sat. To the north was the town where the remains of the Ultimate Weapon could still be seen, the site of the final battle against Team Flare and Lysandre.
Near the location where David died…
"It's been a long while boss… but here we are." Karen his Braixen piped in. "And somewhere down there is Pack Flare's den, where we gatta go and rescue our boy Lancelot."
He nodded in agreement, feeling extremely nervous about this endeavor.
"Pack Leader, we should have brought along more members for this rescue." Yara said next to him. "There are only four of us, surely we cannot defeat all of Pack Flare to save your bodyguard? And we cannot hope to slip in quietly, their sentries will spot us before we can hope to find their den entrance, and even if we do, we'll have to fight our way through Flare just to 'find' him, let alone escape."
He nodded in agreement as well as he looked down at the Meowstic, but he'd made his choice.
=Flashback, Six days earlier=
"And that is what is going to happen, I'm going to rescue my friend, and bodyguard, Lancelot from Pack Flare." He declared. "Until I return, Lucy will be in charge as she is Prime Mate."
Around the den voices were raised, urging him to remain and stay safe, pleading to bring them with to help rescue Lancelot and others wanting to find another solution. However, he was not interested in debating, he had made his decision and announced it to silence them all.
"This is not for debate!" He yelled, getting every member's attention. "I am going, with Karen my Braixen, I do not wish to risk anymore lives in this venture, and I am going 'NOT' as the Pack Leader of Pack Flare… but simply as David, a human… to rescue a friend who I know and have traveled with… whom I am proud to call a 'brother'… if not in species then in name."
"The Pack Leader has made his decision… as his pack we will carry out his orders, dismiss!" Yara and Nera declared loudly.
There was a loud commotion which was swiftly silenced by Karen, Yara and Nera using their combined powers. Karen pulled out her stick, ignited it and launched a powerful flamethrower, which was enhanced by the twins' psychic powers to expand it and make it explode.
"You heard the boss, now get going!" Karen hollered, before stashing her stick away again and crossing her arms.
Within a few hours he was alone with his bodyguards as they walked to the edge of the lake where Sophia, Lucy, Terrance and Serene were watching and waiting for him.
"Darling, do you really have to go alone?" Sophia asked.
"Do you 'have' to only bring Karen?" Lucy asked.
"What about bringing some of our more powerful members chief, Karen can't fight on her own."Terrance asked.
"I'm right here ya know!" Karen growled in annoyance. "I've fought more Pokemon battles than all four of you combined!"
"Most I've fought against is a bunch of Metapods hanging from a tree…" Serene muttered quietly.
He knew what they were worried about, fighting Pack Flare with only a Braixen was too much of a risk. "Maybe but I don't want to risk any lives on something that was my fault to begin with…" He answered them. "If I had kept my cool, if I hadn't let my emotions get ahead of me alongside the rest of you, Lancelot would still be with us instead of with Flare."
(Which is precisely why 'I' am coming with you…) A gentle voice said to them all.
He turned to see Xerneas walking toward them from her cave, proud and majestic as she walked with a confidence that he was currently lacking. She reached them and stood before David, towering over him with her large height and wide antlers, as well as her Master Ball somehow balanced perfectly in between two prongs of her antlers.
"Xerneas?"
(If you intend to go to danger… you will need 'my' power… I will not risk any of our lives in a rescue to save one member of our pact without being there to assist.) She sternly stated, leaning forward to look him in the eye. (You will not win an argument against me… 'master'. Either you take me, or you will be learning how to ride me all night long…)
He could feel her determination at that statement, which told him to accept her demand as the legendary 'never' expressed any feelings in their pact that could be felt or picked up by any of them.
"Alright…" He said.
Xerneas nodded and leaned more so he could grab the ball from her antlers, which he activated and drew her into with a beam of red light.
"Pack Leader…" Nera called up to him, getting his attention. "Please, can 'we' come along as well!"
"As your bodyguards our place is by your side!" Yara continued. "We should also come with you to keep you safe and assist in the rescue."
"I know, but I want you to stay here and keep my wives… 'and' son safe." He said to the two cat Pokemon.
"Please… at least take my brother!" Nera pleaded, gripping his pants in a begging manner. "Please… I don't want to risk losing you pack leader… not since former leader Nemdar has our pack had such a prosperous period, you've grown our pack and are the most liked and respected leader we've ever had!"
He sighed as he leaned down and scratched the cat's fur, though it didn't deter the look of fear on her normally 'stoic' expression. "Alright… if it will put your mind at ease, I'll bring Yara."
Nera sighed in relief before turning to Yara with a smile. "Take care of our pack leader brother!"
"I will sister…" Yara replied, before pulling her into a hug that eventually resulted in them kissing.
"Why don't 'you' go with him Terrance… your big and strong!" Serene asked her mate Terrance.
"Because David only has 'two' Pokeballs on him, and both are already set and occupied!" Terrance replied in annoyance. "Plus look at us, you think 'we' work well on land darling with our flippers? We're water transports, not land lovers!"
David turned to his Lapras and stretched out his hand, making said Lapras lean down and rub him affectionately. "I'm sorry I can't bring you along this time friend, but just the same, take care of everyone here until I return."
Terrance nodded in understanding. "Just don't go and get yourself in trouble, otherwise I won't be there to bail you out!"
"Terrance, when have I ever done otherwise!" He chuckled.
"Well if my memory serves me right there was that time in Reflection Cave where you mistook an Ace Trainer's reflection for a Snorlax…" He started saying.
"THAT WAS AN ACCIDENT, SHE WAS WEARING BLUE AND WHITE AND HER REFLECTION WAS DISTORTED!" He screamed in embarrassment.
"That's what 'he' said." Karen giggled.
=Flashback End=
"This isn't going to be easy no matter what, with only four of us against all of Pack Flare." He said. "However, if Serena is serious about helping me out no matter what, we'll have at least 'one' ace up our sleeve."
"Don't trust your starter to do the job boss?" Karen muttered with her arms crossed.
"No, but I know you can't take on every Pokemon on route 10 by yourself even with your skills Karen." He declared. "Tomorrow we'll head down there and try to find an entrance."
"And your doing it with my help buddy!"
He turned around to see Serena running up the hill from the other side and panting heavily, beside her was her Absol partner and behind them her Altaria.
"Serena, sorry for calling you here when you were probably doing something important…" He said as his old rival reached him.
"Oh, forget it I honestly needed an excuse to get away from all the media and fans!" She giggled lightly, before looking over the route with him. "I remember this when we were both younger… before you died… you know…"
"Yep…" He replied.
"Alright well, let's get started, Altaria fly around and see if you can find a few entrances to the den!" Serena said. "You should know what to look for after seeing David's pack entrance."
Her Altaria nodded and took off to the air, flying high above them all and out of sight.
"So, what's the plan David?" She asked him.
"Tomorrow your team are going to cause a bit of chaos on the route, not too much but enough to get Pack Flare to send its members." He explained as he sat down. "While you guys get their attention and keep them busy, me and my team will sneak in from another entrance, and try to find Lancelot while they're fighting you. Hopefully we can get to him without much trouble and Flare won't realize where we came from."
"It's still a little weird hearing you talk this way buddy, sounding more like a general then the trainer I used to know." She said sitting with him.
"I've had to change a bit since becoming a pack leader Serena…" He replied. "I've had to change a 'lot'… more than you realize."
Somewhere behind him he heard Karen mutter, "Come on, let's leave the trainers alone for a bit…"
"But what about…" Yara started saying but was ushered by Karen.
After a few seconds her Absol also left, something about 'seeing what Karen was up to', leaving him and Serena alone on the hilltop.
"What's it like David, being a pack leader?" She asked.
"Honestly, it's a little bit like being a Pokemon Trainer… only if I say something its not just a command it's law." He said. "They all trust me to do what's best for the pack as a whole and do what I say without question. They didn't want me to come here alone with only a few Pokemon with me, many of them wanted to join me… but I didn't want to risk any of their lives."
"It's that bad huh?"
He looked over at her as she held her holding her Mega Bracelet, fingering the stone gently and causing it to glow every time she did.
"My team trusts me to make the right call every time I give them an order, but outside of… well that time with Team Flare, we never had to risk our lives. Always was a Pokemon Center to treat them or I had potions on hand to heal their injuries. Guess you don't have that in the wild so… I guess it would be harder to take care of those injuries in the wild."
"Yea…" He replied, fingering his keystone as well, thinking of Lancelot and hoping he could sense he was close by.
"David… do you have any regrets?" She asked him. "After dying, being reborn, entering this 'pact' with Xerneas and living forever looking the way you are now?"
"Only that… my friends, family… everyone I knew will never know the truth. That I can never tell them the truth as that would be even more painful than the lie, they currently believe in."
"I see…" She whispered. "I was just… curious is all… what it was like being immortal. Listen David, I'm serious… if you ever… I mean it 'ever' can't take it anymore… just talk to me and… I'll do everything I can to make you disappear from Kalos. You know, ticket out of the region, go somewhere nobody will ever know who you are…"
"How long you think that promise can last?" He chuckled. "No, I'm better off where I am, the Pokemon know all about my status with Xerneas and they've come to accept it. I'm happy where I am… for now at least."
"So, what are the fringe benefits to being the big boss?"
"Well… I can make any decree I want, and it becomes law. Lucy can take command and enact her own laws if I'm not there, but if I want to, I can overrule them. And…" He blushed slightly as he remembered the main benefit. "I can make love to any female Pokemon in the pack I want to."
"Look at you Mr. Lopunny!" She giggled, smacking him in the shoulder. "So, be honest, how many legs do you spread a week?"
"It's… mostly just Lucy and Sophia… and Karen… sometimes pack members come to me for help with their heats and… well."
"Don't tell me you knocked them up… what do Lucy and Sophia think?"
"They don't mind… well Lucy doesn't care, she says as long as the offspring is created by coincidence or accident, I'm not considered the 'father'. But… there's this one Ninetales who really… really wants to have more children with me… I honestly don't know how to react to it."
"Well, if I were you, I'd just ask her to become some silly new position in the pack that I made up." Serena said with a sigh. "If she's dead set, just give her something to make her happy so that she feels special. Even if the post has no power, and is more symbolic, if I loved a guy but he was pretty much out of my reach, I'd still feel happy knowing he liked me enough to consider me as a regular partner like his wife or second wife, or even 'third' wife."
"Karen doesn't really care for the position of 'second prime mate', or even 'third' prime mate. She just likes being my bodyguard…"
"And playing 'ride the skiddy' with you… she's your wife in heart if not position." Serena declared. "Honestly, I envy you David, all those girls. I can't even think of myself with any other guy besides my Absol. I love him so much, after what he did for me…"
They sat in silence again before she brought up another subject.
"About kids… how's it like being a father?"
"Sycamore is absolutely adorable… such a cute little thing… I couldn't be any happier." He said with a smile. "Karen wants a kid too now… and so does Sophia… I don't know how I'm going to convince Xerneas to let us have more kids."
"I'm thinking… you know… one of these years I'd take off for some lame excuse and… settle down with my Absol to enjoy our long overdue honeymoon." She said. "I'm actually… you know considering having a kid of my own with him. Seeing you and Lucy give birth to a son got me thinking and you know… I'm not getting younger…"
"No, you'd have to find a legendary like Xerneas for that!" He chuckled.
He looked over at Serena to see her lost in thought, and not wanting to disturb her he just sat quietly until an hour later when their Pokemon returned, along with Altaria.
As the sun went down and bathed the route in moonlight and darkness with the stars above, they set up camp and ate a big meal to prepare themselves. Serena let her Pokemon out to eat and so they could go over the plan. Her Altaria had found six entrances from his surveillance of the route, and with a map indicated where to go.
"Alright so my team will go 'here'… I'll have Absol Mega Evolve before the attack so he can knock some heads and get their attention. Meanwhile Meowstic, Greninja, and Flareon will hit 'this' den to cause more chaos." Serena declared to her squad. "While this is going on, Atlaria will guide David to another den, and once you're in he'll join Absol and assist in the distraction."
"After we get in, Karen, Yara and I will move through the den using my connection to Lancelot to try and find him. Once we have him, we can get out on our own." He declared.
"Use this Pokeball to get him out more easily. With any luck they'll just think you're a random Trainer who found his way into their den and leave you alone, instead of seeing you as a rival Pack Leader." Serena concluded with a smile. "Any questions?"
(Karen's PoV)
"Yea I got one, where's the part where I get to kick butt?" Karen called out.
"You'll have plenty tomorrow 'foxy'." Greninja croaked with a smirk.
"Foxy?! Ooooh why I oughta slug you here and now 'froggy'!" Karen growled, shaking her fist at the water starter. "That name is SOOOO OLD!"
"Still gets you riled up I see." He countered with a chuckle.
"Save it you two." Serena and David declared together.
"Alright let's get ready for bed, we have a long day tomorrow and we'll need all our energy to be prepared."
"Stupid priority staryu flinging frog…" She muttered to herself. "That name was as stupid in my previous life as it is now."
"Say… uh… Karen." Serena's Meowstic whispered as both groups moved to their own side of the hill to sleep. "Any chance… uh… you can introduce me to Mr. 'loyal' over there?"
"Don't waste your time, he's taken." She replied knowing she was talking about Yara.
"He's taken… by who?" She asked with a hint of disappointment.
"His sister."
"You mean she's overprotective and won't let him date?" She asked.
"No, as in he's already fucking his sister." She stated.
She left the deadpanned expression on the Meowstic's face with a grin as she, Yara and David walked over the crest of the hill to camp. Serena had given them a large sleeping bag to rest in while her team pitched a tent.
She however, had other plans as Yara climbed in to sleep first and David planted Xerneas' Master Ball in a corner for safety.
"Master… can I talk to you for a bit?"
"Sure, we'll be back in a bit Yara, get some sleep!" He ordered.
"Yes, Pack Leader David!"
She walked with him beside her for a few yards, toward a small clearing near a pond so she could be alone with him, away from prying eyes.
"So, what is it you wanted to talk about Karen?"
She sighed before turning to him and staring at him with a determined expression. "I want you to make love to me!"
He looked down at her in surprise. "Now… Karen, tomorrow we're about to-"
"To charge into a life and death situation that may result in us dying for 'good', to rescue a friend and companion of ours in 'two' life times, and someone who would do the same for us without hesitation!" She stated clearly. "I hate to think and talk this way, but I'm a competitively bred and trained Pokemon, I wasn't trained to think like an optimist, I was raised to be realistic. Tomorrow we may end up dying… and if that happens, I want my last night to be special… I want to go down there and have a REASON… a real reason… to fight with my whole life for."
She then smiled and beckoned him to kneel so she could hold his face with her paws.
"I just want you to love me tonight… and make me happy… give me the strength to protect you that I didn't have 'before'… give me the courage… the power within me to ensure we 'all' get out alive… please… my 'love'?"
There was a moment of silence before he sighed and smiled back gently, before holding her closer and kissing her full on the mouth, causing her to sigh lovingly as he held her like always.
There was no tongue wrestling, no moans of pleasure, just a simple kiss that showed affection between them, but already it was making her heart pound happily as she felt his love through their bond. She could also feel the love he had for Lucy and Sophia, the love he had for Terrance and Lancelot, the familial love with all of them that they all shared with him and each other. She could feel all of them connected, even Xerneas, though she could barely detect it from inside their small pact.
They separated and smiled at one another.
"Alright… if that will really make you happy tonight Karen…"
"It will…"
Without further ado he leaned forward and pulled her into a more passionate kiss, causing her to moan lovingly as she was pushed gently to lie down on the grass. As they kissed, she opened her mouth enough to let his tongue enter, and without hesitation his larger, more muscular appendage entered and began feeling around for its longer, thinner, more flexible playmate.
Her tongue responded with a poke to tease and tempt it in, which it quickly obliged, and rested atop hers where it wriggled and played with her own. Her tongue licked and lapped, touched and tapped every inch it could and wrap itself as much as possible, cuddling its lover in an erotic dance that sent her taste buds into overdrive as bits of saliva from their mouths mixed together.
Meanwhile she was being busy with her paws and he his hands, as while one hand was gently caressing her chest, feeling through the soft fur of her warm body for her flat 'breasts', his other hand was snaking its way around her legs to fondle her butt cheeks. Her paws were worming their own way to feel his chest, riddled with some sturdy muscles after a year of living underground and training with Lancelot.
She owed him one because she was gripping his chest and felt not a single bit of fat on him.
Her other paw however was going toward his pants to unsheathe the tool that she wished to pierce her femhood and make love to her again.
"Ehmmhmm…" She moaned into his kiss as he began to fondle her breasts beneath her fur, hidden from sight and now only being touched for probably the first time. "Ehmm!"
Eventually she felt him starting to slow hump her pussy, leaning closer against her to lie as flat as possible while she still fondled his dick, giving it a handjob to get it erect so it could make love to her body. Her butt however was being groped and sending tiny waves of pleasure, with every squeeze from his hands through her fur causing her to moan happily.
She was so happy to have him right now, for a brief moment when they were preparing, she was getting worried feelings in her gut. For a tiny moment she wasn't sure if she could do what was asked of her. Now, now as she used her legs to push his pants and underwear down, exposing his now fully erect dick, even as she continued to play wrestle with her tongue, she felt her bond growing stronger.
"Mmmpah!" She gasped when she needed air and looked up him with a loving smile. "I'm ready…"
"But you're not…" He began saying, feeling her pussy and causing her to shudder.
No, she wasn't fully wet, but she didn't care, her body wanted it, and her walls were already perfectly suited to his member's width and length. Her body had already become accustomed to her human, so she didn't mind.
"My body may not be… but my heart is… I'll be fine love." She replied reassuringly.
"Alright…" He said, before readjusting his dick and lining it up with her entrance.
As she felt his meaty rod's tip touch her flower, she shuddered in pleasure even as 'it' shuddered in excitement it seemed. Her walls began to flex and squeeze, anticipating the arrival of its guest. Within seconds he slid in and hilted instantly, and she gasped in pleasure.
She took a single calming breath as her pussy's walls began to rub and caress his dick, feeling every vein and lump and even the tip's bulge. She then looked at him and smiled with kiss on his lips.
"Perfect fit… always for you my master…" She moaned warmly. "Always… always for you… I was always meant to be yours."
"Even 'before'?" He whispered as he gently began to push in and out of her.
She smiled back as she was moved, breathing slightly more heavily as he thrusted, feeling his dick kiss the entrance of her womb and giving it the 'ok' to open and let him in.
"Even 'before'…" She replied.
Had Lucy not wanted him first, she would have fallen for him and offered to become his, but that was a story left in the past. She was his now as he leaned forward and kissed her, holding her head and scratching her ears while the other gently cupped her waist and pulled it into his thrusts.
"MHmmm!" She moaned as he pushed harder and harder.
Her walls began to coat his dick in wet juices, each time it touched her womb's entrance it teased the tip entry but refused to let it in. It continued to hit it like a Tauros rampaging with tackle, demanding to be let it, but she giggled inside as her body wanted it to work for its entry.
She held onto his neck tightly, holding him as close as she could while he continued to hump her body to him.
After a while he paused his thrust and began to plant kisses along her neck, causing her to gasp in pleasure as he nibbled on the spot where he'd accidentally bit her, sending a wave of pleasure throughout her body. Feeling him nibble on her mark made her groan happily, as it was now a very sensitive spot, and among her species only the 'mate' is allowed to touch it.
Any other male who tried to touch that spot would push her 'button' and make her burn them alive, but because it was David it was causing her to moan.
"Ah~!" She yipped as he resumed assaulting her pussy. "Ooooh~!"
She kissed him again, this time entering his mouth to let her tongue tackle and play and express how happy it was to be with his tongue, which simply sat and snuggled back.
Her pussy however was leaking juices every time his dick slapped in and out, hilting each time and causing a wet slop sound with every thrust.
As it rubbed against her special spot, she gasped in pleasure while lip locked, and hugged him even tighter, trying and failing to wrap her legs around his waist because of her size. Still she let him know that she was starting to get close, and she felt him getting close with how his dick suddenly began to swell and pick up speed.
"Mmmhah…" She yelped. "In… side!"
With her message given she kissed him again, just as he planted his hands on either side of her body and began ramming her with full power.
Then at long last her womb was 'finally' penetrated, and his dick began slamming against her walls, not leaving until it delivered its package.
"Hmmmhmm… HNNNNG!"
"Hnnnm!"
They both released at the same time, her walls clamping down and secreting juices and creating an air-tight space, just as her womb clamped as shut as it could so that his dick's cum poured into her chamber, where it would stay and not get out easily.
They both twitched as they went through their orgasmic high, and she felt her chamber filled to the brim. She angled her lower body just a bit higher, using her legs to support, so that very little would leak out.
She hoped, as they separated their mouths and he nibbled her neck to please her, and she licked his own neck in gratitude, for two things.
The first that this would 'not' be their last night together, and the second that one of these times would give her an egg.
An egg, she could be proud of having!
"How do you feel Karen?" He whispered warmly.
"I don't know…" She moaned lovingly, kissing him gently before replying. "I feel like my 'affection' is at max… but just in case…"
She kissed him again and felt him begin to thrust into her again, going for another round before heading to bed.
=The Next Day=
(Sylvester's PoV)
"Ow… why did you have to hit me that hard?" He complained as Helena rubbed some moss on his forehead.
"Because you needed a good beating." She stated dully.
"I just wanted to see how big the Lucario got, was that too much to ask?"
"I don't know, do you want another beating?" She grunted while slapping him with a vine. "Honestly, you are by far the most inconsistent Serperior I've ever had the misfortune to know."
Before she could pull her vine away, he grabbed it with his own vine and pulled her to him, wearing a sly grin as he quickly wrapped his entire body around her and planted a powerful kiss on her sweet lips. Try as the Meganium could, his former feminine teammate could not hide the little blush on her cheeks as he stared into her eyes. After a few seconds he forced his thin tongue into her mouth and began poking and prodding her own tongue which tried to resist by hiding at the back of her throat.
Still, she couldn't help but 'moan' in light pleasure.
After a few seconds he pulled out and smirked, savoring the taste of berries in her mouth. "I may be inconsistent with how I treat others love, but for you… I'll always treat you like the queen you deserve to be."
"Oh, shut up and let me go!" She snarled, smacking him with her other vine, but still he held tightly.
"When are you finally going to let me breed you darling… I've told you, I want 'you' to have my offspring… those others are just 'flings' until you let me have you!" He whispered seductively, his 'mini serperior' poking out and beginning to prod her entrance.
"When you decide to show 'true' loyalty to me and NOT just to your own selfish urges!" She snarled back, using her vines to protect herself and block her entrance.
"I've always been loyal to you love…" He whispered honestly. "From the moment we set out on our own, I've followed you to the ends of the earth. I will 'always' follow you… if you wanted, I'd take over this pack just to have you sit by my side love. I just want to know you love 'me' as well…"
"Funny how you don't show it!" She growled before headbutting him and causing his body to unfurl.
He simply curled up and concealed himself until mini Sylvester calmed down, staring at Helena with a frown. He knew she didn't mean to insult her, but still it panged him that the one creature he 'truly' would do anything for, just to hear the words 'I love you', thought he was unfaithful and unloyal to her.
Okay maybe spending the day with three Vulpix, one after another was a bit much, but hey, he had urges and needed not only a release but wanted to help release.
Helena wasn't helping either with her plump rear and purity 'begging' to be taken staring at him every day he visited her.
"So how are things for you?" He asked while she tended to her moss garden, farming for medicinal herbs and mushrooms.
"Since you started staying out of trouble, 'better'." She whispered while tending to the garden. "The Lucario is still alive thankfully, after the third interrogation session I figured our leader would have killed him."
"Yea… dunno how long he'll stay that way though." Sylvester muttered as he glanced down and sighed in frustration.
"Still stiff?" She asked.
"Of course, thinking of you and breeding is hard to get out of my head." He chuckled. "Silly thing won't go away."
"I can give you a few mushrooms that will kill it instantly…"
"You know I hate those things, they taste HORRIBLE and the smell never leaves my mouth!" He moaned.
Helena sighed as she turned to him and shook her head. "Then I guess we go with your 'preferred' method…" She muttered while moving toward him.
He smiled as he uncurled himself and allowed her access.
"I'm only doing this for 'medical reasons'!" She growled, before licking his twin headed member, rubbing them and coating them in her sweet saliva.
"Oohhohoooh~…" He moaned happily, enjoying his 'medical treatment'. "I don't care how you describe it… I love you Helena… you're a beautiful flower of all Meganiums!"
She bobbed her head up and down, but after a few minutes he heard a commotion outside, and then what sounded like a Manectrik's voice called out for him and Helena.
"What do you want?" He screamed to prevent them from disturbing. "Helena is busy… taking care of my… back!"
"Pack Protector, our pack is under attack, several Pokemon are assaulting our southern most entrances… an Absol and…"
"Whatever…" He groaned in restrained pleasure as Helena deep throated him. "It is… I'll handle… it in a bit… now OOOOH GET LOST!"
At that Helana began picking up and he groaned harder.
"Oh, please darling… don't speed up… oh please… I'm really enjoying this…"
She pulled out and glared at him with a prominent blush on her face. "It sounds like our pack is under attack from something serious, I need to finish because I'm going to be flooded with injured members." She muttered.
"I'm begging you Helena by Arceus' plates pleeeeease don't do this to me!" He pleaded. "I promise… if you do this for me, I will NOT tick you off or mess with you for a whole week!"
"A whole week?" She smirked, licking him teasingly. "That's all I get?"
"FIVE WEEKS!" He screamed almost painfully. "FIVE WEEKS, AND I'LL DO WHATEVER YOU SAY!"
"Deal!" She said before engulfing him and going slower while using her tongue to lick in between 'both' his heads.
"Ooohohoohoh yeaaaaaaa~!" He muttered happily, his tongue hanging out and his eyes staring at the ceiling.
(David's PoV)
"Looks like Serena and her team have started." He said as he stood with Altaria floating above him and his team. "Alright Altaria, we'll take it from here!"
"Good luck Serena's friend!" He said, flying away toward where a flash of rainbow light was shining.
Once they were alone, he led Yara and Karen down a very cleverly disguised tunnel dug from under the ground and up to the surface. The den entrance had been one of 'dozens' that Serena's Pokemon had found, and thankfully the ruse that David was just another Pokemon Trainer had been bought by the sentries while Serena's team acted as the decoy team.
As they headed underground, he was impressed to see a combination of electrical lights lighting the dark caverns as well as luminescent rocks like his own pack's den. The one thing he was having trouble with was finding his way as they ran.
"Yara, sense anything?" He asked as he ran quickly.
"No leader, I can't sense Lancelot out of the numerous pack members. There's just too many!" He declared. "Can you sense him with your pact?"
"I can 'sorta' sense his general presence, he's weak… I can feel myself getting weaker the closer we get." He said.
"Same here chief… same here!" Karen called from behind. "We need to find him fast and put him in the Pokeball Serena gave you, so he doesn't affect us badly."
He nodded as they ran down a corridor with him leading the way, following the direction he was sensing his friend.
As they ran though they came across a fork and just as he was about to walk down the right one, a trio of Pokemon marched out the left one.
A Ninetales and two Linoone stopped and stared at his group in surprise, clearly 'not' expecting a human, a Meowstic and a Braixen to be down here.
"I… INTRUDERS!" The Ninetales yelled loudly, backing up and running while the Linoones charged them. "Intruders, intrudeeeeeeeers!"
"We don't have time for this!" He yelled back. "Karen, Yara, take them down quickly.
"Just what I was waiting on!" Karen yelled loudly, pulling her stick out and blasting the Linoone on the right with a flamethrower.
"As you order!" Yara called out, lifting his ears and making his eyes glow brightly, causing a wave of psychic energy to hit the left Linoone.
Together they knocked out both Linoones and David led the way as they ran down the right fork.
Now the ruse was over, the whole of Pack Flare was going to be on them, the Ninetales was no doubt alerting every member they could and soon any Pokemon sent to fight Serena and her team would be turned around to deal with him and his group.
"I guess 'stealth' is out of the picture huh boss?" Karen called.
"Yep…" He replied.
"We must move quickly then to rescue Bodyguard Lancelot!" Yara declared as he ran on all four to keep up with them.
Deeper and deeper they went, David following his senses which directed him to Lancelot, and along the way they encountered another squad of Pokemon, this time a pair of Mightyena and a Manectric.
"Outa the way!" Karen bellowed, swinging her stick forward and launching a powerful Flamethrower, three times the size she normally could cast.
All 'three' Pokemon were enveloped in the flames, and after she ended it all three were burned and groaning in pain.
"Was that necessary?" He called as they ran past the Pokemon, leaving them to be picked up by their fellows.
"You mad I love you boss?" She giggled.
"If we get out of here, I'll show you how much I 'love' you Karen." He smiled back.
"Oh, trust me, I already know~!" She laughed.
"Can we discuss this 'after' we rescue Lancelot!" Yara called out as they went down another side tunnel.
They continued to run, dodging Pack members who were now streaming toward where the disturbance had been called while hiding out of sight. They used a few side chambers to conceal themselves and stay out of sight as much as possible to avoid 'more' fights. However, they had to fight a few times, and each time they did Karen would blast them with her flamethrower, using her sheer power and mastery of her attack to defeat them.
Thankfully they avoided fighting any Houndooms, which worried him, as because Scar was down here, he expected there to be more Houndooms and Houndours.
Then without warning far ahead of them in a patch of corridor where there was no lighting, a pair of glowing yellow eyes appeared. Instantly he tripped and fell to all four along with Yara and Karen, who all were forced to the ground upon seeing the yellow ghostly eyes.
'I… I can't… move!' He thought, trying to get up yet unable to.
His limbs weren't responding, they were 'struggling' to twitch let alone stand, and even his eyes and lungs felt like they were frozen in place. His heart slowly beat, not out of fear but because whatever was stopping him was affecting his heart too.
Alongside him he heard Yara and Nera struggling too, indicating that whatever was affecting him was affecting them.
"I don't like when someone 'barges' in here… and ruins my 'fun'…" A snide and cynical voice called out.
Slowly a green serpentine Pokemon appeared, with markings of royalty and an elegant demeanor that portrayed greatness and looking at them with an air of superiority. He felt like an insect to the Pokemon as it slithered closer, glaring at them with a sneer.
"A human… a Braixen… and a Meowstic… 'these' are the intruders?" It whispered as it reached him. "Pathetic… unable to stand even a 'third' of the power of my Glare."
He leaned closer and looked him over, as if inspecting a scrap of dirt.
"Not even 'worth' the effort… I suppose I should kill you and tell Flare I did him and his pack a favor… but…" He looked closer at him, more specifically at his 'eye'. "You… look like… fascinating… you have the same 'eye' as that Lucario…" He then smirked and pulled out a vine to rub his chin. "On second thought… now that I see you, I think Flare would want to 'talk' to you… mmmmhm and you're a cutie to boot~, I think I'll take you for a 'spin' before I let Flare have his time with you… I'll leave the fox and the cat for the other members and let them deal with…"
"GET OFF HIIIIIM!"
The snake pokemon jumped away just as a bunch of rocks appeared and slammed together where he had been. Instantly his body moved again, and Karen jumped in front of him, blasting flamethrower after flamethrower at their attacker.
The Pokemon however dodged and slithered out of the path of each attack, twisting and contorting its body to avoid damage.
In response Karen spun her stick in a circle and created a ring of rocks 'while' using her nose and mouth to create a trio stream of fire, which she launched using her limited psychic powers. Left with nowhere to hide or run, he expected their opponent to panic or scream, instead it stood still and absorbed all of the attacks. Where he was a dense smoke cloud appeared as all the attacks came together to explode, and Karen stood firm with her stick at the ready.
He started to talk but she silenced him with her paw, not taking her eyes off the smoke cloud.
The smoke dissipated and revealed their opponent was covered in what appeared to be an 'energy bubble', no longer looking smug or smirking but assuming a standard defensive stance and watching his starter without blinking.
"Knew it…" She muttered. "A Serperior… competitively 'bred' and 'trained'… just like me."
The blue bubble disappeared and the Serperior watched her with his full attention, not taking his eyes off her.
"Broke though my Glare… now 'that' is interesting…" He said. "Not many can do that… let's try this again!"
His eyes glowed again and before him a pair of ghostly yellow eyes stared into Karen's. He felt himself freeze up just like her, and for a moment she was struggling to move, before she roared in fury and broke through the paralyzing effects of the attack.
If the Serperior was surprised he didn't show it, he simply watched and waited.
"Boss… get moving… only I have a chance of fighting him." She said. "Don't worry about me, this is my fight…"
He looked at her before looking at the Serperior.
"Get going… I won't bother you." He called out. "Like your Braixen says… this is 'my' fight… if you're after that Lucario… you'll find him down the corridor behind me, thirty chambers down." He said. "Before you ask… no I'm not helping you… I'm just not interested in why your after him… I'm more interested in this fight. Consider it 'thank you' for making my evening. This is ganna be fun…"
He nodded and with Yara behind, ran around and down the corridor, hoping his Braixen would be fine.
(Karen and Sylvester's PoV)
"So… you're a competitive Pokemon huh?" He asked her.
"Yup." She replied, not taking her eyes off him.
"Which division and league?"
"Dream Ball League, Second Division."
"Oh… high… very nice." He replied with a grin. "Not as high as me, Master Ball, 'first' division."
"Eh, I kept swapping from league to league… you know how it is, Wonder Trade and GTS and all that." She shrugged, not taking her eyes off him.
"Same… woulda been to worlds but my trainer retired…" He replied. "Out of curiosity, how many IVs?"
"Five, you?"
"Five… almost 'six', last one was a thirty."
They just stared at each other in the corridor, not moving or flinching, waiting for the other to make a move.
"Pack protector!" A voice called out, and she heard a group of Pokemon come up behind her, but she didn't look back.
She couldn't look away against this opponent.
"Do not interfere, this is 'my' fight!" He called out, not looking away from her.
"But… pack protector, Flare wants us to eliminate the intruders!"
Sylvester's eye twitched as he glared at the Pokemon behind her, before he sighed and called out "One-minute time out starting now!"
She nodded and closed her eyes.
She couldn't hear what he did but she 'did' feel it. "GET LOST!" He screamed as he used his glare at 'full power'. "This is a professional fight, one on one, none of your business, UNDERSTAND?!"
She waited ten seconds while the Pokemon fled in fear of him, before opening her eyes and returning to normal stance.
"Sorry about that… keeping count?" He asked politely.
"Yep… soon as zero hits… we begin." She replied.
"Got it."
They just stood there, waiting as the timer ticked down in their heads.
The second it did, both launched their first attacks. "Leaf Storm!" He called out, sending a torrential storm of leaves, growing in power as it connected.
"Flamethrower!" She countered, launching a torrent of flames which incinerated his leaves, but still the attack connected, and it gave him more power.
To counter the flames, he concentrated and created a protective barrier, using his 'Protect' to shield him from the attack. This however left him vulnerable as until it ended, he couldn't move, which Karen used to her advantage and launched a Psyshock. He leapt away just as his protect war off, avoiding the stones and launching another Leaf Storm.
The attack's power was vastly greater, but still it was nothing compared to the flames they were being forced to fight against, which once erupted from her stick burned the leaves on contact, before they could connect. Yet as his Leaf Storm had grown in power, the tornado of leaves and combination of wind erupting to create the storm was now beginning to smother and kill the flames. If he could connect at least two Leaf Storms more than the Braixen's flames would be no match for his power.
"Always hated your kind!" She screamed as she launched Psyshock after Psyshock, intermixed with a Flamethrower. "Stupid… one… trick… garden snakes!"
"If it aint 'broke' don't fix!" He called back.
She meanwhile kept track of this Serperior's movement, knowing full well she had no hope to either close the distance or outpace him. The way he jumped to evade her earlier attacks was proof of that, he was so focused on her trainer and yet he still sensed and dodged the attacks that were near point blank and activated in less than a second. Her best bet was to keep peppering him with her flames, using her superior element type to fight him and slowly wear down his power increases from his ability 'and' his Leaf Storm.
Contrary was a powerful ability she knew of, the user reversing the effects of moves that either weakened or empowered one's strengths. The first Leaf Storm had worked and now he was trying to power up a second, but it also had a flaw. The longer the fight went on before his storm grew in strength, eventually it would fizzle out to what it was.
Problem, getting the fight to last that long.
"Take this!" She screamed and launched a Psyshock to try and catch him off guard.
"Protect!" He countered, standing still and creating his barrier again which blocked the attack.
"Raaaaaaah!" She yelled and launched her Flamethrower again to catch him off guard.
Unfortunately, he had guessed the attack as the moment his barrier ended, he contorted and flung himself away, before counter attacking with 'another' Leaf Storm.
Unable to channel another flame to stop it, she could only shield herself from the storm of sharpened leaves which cut deep into her fur. Fortunately, her training resisted, and her body's natural heat weakened the leaves and softened them upon impact.
"It may be a 'one trick' strategy, but if one trick is all I need, then that's all you'll ever see!" Sylvester cackled as he launched another Leaf Storm.
She countered with another Flamethrower, but now her attack was merely keeping the powerful torrent of leaves at bay, no longer incinerating them. 'This is going to be hard no matter what!' She thought bitterly.
(David's PoV)
"Here!" He yelled as he ran into a chamber, keeping count in his head how many he passed based on what the Serperior said.
They ran into the chamber with Yara trailing behind and entered a dimly lit moss filled room with mushrooms growing everywhere and bathing the room in a very calming green light. There, lying in a crumpled heap was a Lucario, severely burned on multiple sides and bearing dozens of scars and scratches on his body.
At his entrance he stirred and looked up at him, before smiling wearily and trying to get up.
(Master… I knew… you'd come!) He whispered psychically as he fell backward.
He launched forward and grabbed his partner and managed to get him into a sitting position. "Easy buddy… we need to get out of here 'fast'…" He whispered quietly, pulling out the Pokeball Serena gave him to carry Lancelot in. "I'm going to put you in this ball alright, its only temporary until we can get you home. Think you can deal with it until then?"
He smiled and let out a half-hearted chuckle that sounded painful. (If I recall… I was 'your' Pokemon in our previous life… and I didn't mind the ball back then.) He stated. (I don't mind it now… it'll feel like old times…)
"I don't understand why you enjoy those things." Yara muttered.
(When I'm better… I'll explain…) He told Yara before lifting his paw and tapping the button on it.
It instantly opened and launched a red beam of light, sucking Lancelot in and leaving his arm free while he was absorbed. Instantly it closed and pinged to indicate the capture was successful, and because he went in willingly there was no need for it to shake.
"Alright let's get out of here!" He called while pocketing Lancelot and turning to leave.
Only to find a Meganium blocking his path.
"How did…" He spoke up before the Meganium sighed and stepped out of the way.
It nodded at the exit, looking tired and uninterested.
"You're letting us leave?" He asked.
The Meganium nodded. "You came for him, right?" It said in a feminine tone. "I'm not one for combat… just get, I'm already going to be spending the next two days without sleep."
Not sure why this Pack Flare member was sounding so stressed, but accepting her offer to leave without a fight, he stepped forward and petted the Meganium's head in gratitude. "I'm sorry…" He whispered.
"I'm used to it, just another day in the wild for me." She muttered, smiling a little as he petted her. "Thanks for the pet by the way human, it reminds me of better times. When I had my own human to care for me…"
Smiling he nodded before walking quickly with Yara behind, but before he did he turned back to the Meganium.
"If you ever want… there's always room in my pack for you to join… you know, in case you ever want to leave. It's a lot calmer and less chaotic there."
She looked at him with a smile and nodded in understanding. "I'll think about it… for now, my friend and I belong here… if he wants to though, I'll consider your offer."
With that he and Yara left the room.
They had just entered the main corridor and were about to make their way out when a burst of flame erupted behind him.
Turning around he saw a Houndoom, glaring at him with very prominent scar on the side of his face, nostrils emitting toxic smoke and vapor while his mouth released tiny streams of fire with each breath he took. Yet for all of his fearsome aura, wit how his horns bent to a sharpened point, his fangs sharpened to a dangerous edge, and the fiery venom he carried for the human…
Scar could only see David and Yara through one solitary eye, and that eye had a white shine on it while the other was a pure white ball in its socket.
He was almost totally blind, the fact that Scar recognized him was a miracle alone, and the fact that he still had enough accuracy to launch an attack in his direction was also a miracle. But that still did not detract the fact that Scar could not 'see' him properly.
Scar was panting heavily, staring at David while his one eye vainly tried to focus on him, his flames ready to erupt again.
"Scar…" He said.
"You…" He growled furiously. "Do you KNOW… what you have cost me… human!" He took one step forward, squinting furiously and trying to focus. "My 'pack'… my 'status'… my 'life'… and now my 'sight'… I will 'kill you' for what you have put me through!"
"If I recall it was 'you' who did this to yourself!" He countered while Yara stepped in front of him. "You were so paranoid about me that you attacked me first, you were so angry with me that you tried to backstab and kill me. You held my friend hostage and tried to make her watch me die, and then planned to rape her afterwards just to spite her. If you had just left me alone, let her go or even told her to leave and stay with me if she was so inclined, I wouldn't have become a leader to a pack of Pokemon!"
He snarled in fury at that.
"Please tell me we can kill him now Pack Leader!" Yara asked while hissing. "We can take revenge for Isis here and now!"
"No, even near completely blind Scar is still dangerous." He said calmly. "I don't have any kind of weapon I can use to fight Scar with, and your powers are only half as strong against Scar without your sister here, and nothing you have can fight a dark type."
"What of…" Yara began saying before a huge group of Pokemon ran down the corridor behind Scar.
"They're from PACK DAVID, IT'S AN ATTACK!" Scar roared, before launching a flamethrower.
Instantly David ducked and turned to run, trying to avoid the flames and bursts of electricity being sent against him. Behind him Yara was running on all fours with his ears and eyes lit and blindly launching random psychic attacks behind him, trying to throw their pursuers off as much as possible.
"Yara, cause a cave in!" He declared.
"Yes Leader!" Yara responded and focused his powers above them.
Within seconds the ground shook and a cascade of rocks fell behind them, causing the corridor to be blocked off and buy them time.
"That won't hold for long!"
"Long enough!" He hollered back.
(Karen's PoV)
Both she and Sylvester were panting, their energy beginning to wear out as they had been trading blows without pause. She had tried every trick to her that she could to catch the Serperior off guard, yet each time he countered her efforts and refused to back down. Now she was running on 'fumes', as each time she tried to launch her flames they started growing weaker and weaker.
Her opponent seemed to be in the same boat though, as his Leaf Storms, though reached maximum power, appeared to be nearly exhausted, as the storms were growing less intensive, though not less powerful, as each storm's overall duration grew smaller compared to the previous one. He must be just as exhausted and running low on energy as her else this fight would be over now.
"Your fun…" He said with a smirk, though he was panting with each word.
"You're not bad yourself…" She countered, with just as little breath as he had.
"You know… if you weren't my type… I'd totally bend you over and rock your world." He giggled.
"Sorry… I already got a personal breeder." She replied with a smirk.
"Guessing its that boy?" He asked.
"Yep… already planning to put an egg in me!"
"Lucky bastard…"
"Indeed…"
They just stared and tried to catch their breaths.
"I think we both know that sooner or later, he's going to come back… and depending on who wins this determines if you all get out… or not." Sylvester called out. "And we both don't have the stamina or the power to keep this up any longer."
"Which means our next few moves… will have to end it, one way or another." She replied, already knowing the situation.
Slowly their breathing steadied, and they both readied their final offensives.
"Well in that case… TAKE THIS!" She screamed, and held her stick in both hands, and readied her next move. "Have a taste… OF BLAST BURN!"
Sylvester actually went wide eyed as she screamed the move, and even moreso when a massive explosion of fire erupted from her stick. The move's power was only half as strong as the true move could be, since she was not fully evolved. It also could not be controlled, which meant she had zero decision in how it activated or where it went, but because the corridor was narrow it only had two directions, one towards Sylvester and the other behind her, and with how small the confined space was it's power was concentrated to make up for her lack of control.
Within seconds her opponent was enveloped in the ball of fire that exploded with a ton of force. All that she could see was fire until she couldn't take the strain and fell forward, exhausted and unable to move. She prayed to Arceus that would work, it was her ace in the hole, her trump card, her last trick she had.
Soon the flames died down and air cleared but standing before her was the Serperior who was covered in his blue bubble of Protect energy. Yet there were cracks and tiny burns on him.
He looked absolutely vicious as he stared at her.
"You want power, I'LL SHOW YOU POWER!" He screamed in rage, before flinging two vines into the ground while his eyes glowed. "Have a maximum power FRENZY PLANT!"
Unable to move she could do nothing as thick and thorny roots surged from the ground and ceiling, erupting around her and pummeled into her frame, smacking her and strangling her energy.
(Sylvester's PoV)
He poured his reserves into the last move, determined to finish off his opponent.
This was the hardest fight he's had to endure since his days in the circuit, he's never had to work so hard just to get his negotiated 'reward' from Helena. Yet this Braixen had lit a fire under him that now he had to put out, and he was determined to win.
Frenzy Plant was his ultimate move, it took massive reserves of stamina and power out of him to unleash and releasing the full might after exhausting his Leaf Storms to hit maximum was even 'more' taxing. He was literally running on steam to keep going, and it was starting to show.
His attack finished, the roots slowly returned to the ground as he pulled his vines out.
Both him and the Braixen were gasping for air, panting to recover as quickly as possible, yet she stood up to a kneeling position, hand on her stick for one more attack.
'Our next attacks will be our last.'He thought. 'She used her ultimate move… how is that possible… only a Delphox can do that, but she unleashed it.'
He stared at her, curious, absolutely curious as to how she could do it. He had to train for 'weeks' under a master Serperior just to understand the 'concept' of how to unleash the Frenzy Plant, let alone control and concentrate its power and USE it. But 'she' can do it as a Braixen?
'But it's not as powerful… it broke my Protect only because the explosion had nowhere else to go… she can use it, but she can't control it, that's probably her last move, her 'ace' trick.'He thought again. 'If I can just recover first, I can finish her off with another Frenzy Plant… my power is starting to weaken, I'm probably at half strength since my last Leaf Storm, I need to hit her again before the effects fully wear off and I'm defenseless… and finish her off!'
After a second, she stood up and raised her stick, panting and glaring. "Fl… flame… thrower!"
He panted as he panicked, she'd recovered sooner than expected, he wasn't ready to counter attack, if he was hit now, he was finished.
'Come on… come on!' He thought desperately as the flame erupted from her stick and launched toward him.
A wall of fire flung at him, and just in time he felt his strength return. Instantly he summoned his energy and created a protective barrier and grinned as the flames passed harmlessly over him. He may have only created a forward protective barrier, but it was all he needed, what little he had left in the tank would go to the Frenzy Plant.
As it ended and smoke filled the air, he stopped his Protect and flung his vines into the ground with a massive grin. "I'VE WON THIS FIGHT." He yelled.
From the smoke emerged a stick pointed right at his face, and 'she' appeared with another smirk.
"Block this…" She growled.
"BLAST BURN."
"FRENZY PLANT!"
(Nobody's PoV)
What happened next could not be seen, as sound was canceled out and a ball of fire erupted, along with powerful vines.
Yet in the aftermath, a Braixen was flung to the ground, bleeding profusely from numerous wounds and clutching a broken stick in her weak arms.
After a few seconds she opened her eyes to stare at the Serperior who was still shrouded in smoke, in defeat. "Forgive me… my love… master… David." She whispered feebly while crying. "I… tried…"
Her head collapsed, unconscious, but moments later was recalled in a beam of light as the smoke cleared.
"To move in that close… under those conditions… what a feat… but~!"
In front of her the Serperior looked down at the spot where she was and smirked.
"What are you talking about…"
He looked back at her Trainer who was breathing heavily, though why he didn't know, but the human saw how most of his face was covered in fifth degree burns, his normally green color charred brown, parts of his skin exposed and burned also, and his nose almost charred black.
"You stupid fox… you 'won'… uuugh." He muttered, before collapsing, allowing the human to run past, having won his freedom from the Grass Starter.
It was half an hour later when Sylvester was finally discovered, burned and barely alive, just lying on the ground as dozens and dozens of Pack Members crowded him. Some scared about him dying, others in disbelief that he could be beaten, the rest hoping that he'd survive.
Soon a Meganium walked through, having been summoned and looking down at him.
(Helena's PoV)
"Quite the mess you got yourself in…" She muttered to her friend.
Sylvester weakly opened his eyes to look at her, barely breathing. "Helena… is that you?" He whispered feebly.
"Yes, it's me you idiot…" She replied in a cold tone. "So… what did you do to end up this way?"
"Braixen… like me… bred… and trained…" He hissed in pain. "Am I… going to die?"
She looked over his body and sighed. "Unless treated soon yep, those are serious burns… your only alive thanks to your… 'high quality genes' that your so proud of. If you were a 'natural born' Serperior you'd be dead now."
He blinked in response before whispering painfully, "Will you… have my baby… before I die?" He begged. "I don't… want to leave… without at least… having a 'legacy' to leave…"
She rolled her eyes, even in the face of death he tries to get in between her thighs.
"I'm not going to let you die… not yet anyway." She countered. "So tell me… how do you feel, lying there, in excruciating pain, beaten by a Braixen of all Pokemon to the condition you have been left in? How does that make you feel?"
He growled as he wearily, bitterly, defiantly, in protest against his body that crackled as chipped burnt skin broke off so he could move into a somewhat 'standing' position. "Terrible… I can't… believe I was beaten…"
He however smiled in glee. "But… I've never… felt so alive…" He snarled. "I want to fight her again… I want to fight… she's strong… stronger than I thought… I underestimated her, I took her for granted… because she was a Braixen. The next time I won't… make the same mistake!"
He gasped painfully as he twisted his body to look around at the weaker members.
"I must get stronger… I've been lax in my training… in my strength… I've let myself get weak living with you 'wild Pokemon'… I'm not this weak… I'm STRONGER!" He roared at the wild Pokemon who backed up in fear. "I AM STRONGER THAN ANY OF YOU… ALL OF YOU… but that Braixen reminded me… that a 'true' trained Pokemon never relaxes in their training…"
He turned to her, and she saw in his eyes… a fire, a fire she has not seen in a long time.
"Heal me… Helena… I must train… I must get stronger, I want to fight again… I must get 'stronger'… I will not lose again…" He whispered in a painful tone, his voice speaking with oxygen his body cannot afford and yet he was 'forcing' it to. "I MUST GET STRONGER!"
At long last his body lost the fight, and 'forced' him to collapse in pain, his breath wheezing painfully as it tried to get oxygen again.
She simply eyed him, before smiling warmly.
'Yes… that's the Sylvester I love.'She thought warmly. 'Not that perverted idiot who can't keep his dick in its sheath when he sees a cute boy or girl. Not that lackadaisical fool who lazes about when he's bored and does whatever he wants. The Serperior I love, the Sylvester 'I' love… is honest with himself, admits his failings, admits his feelings… and wants to 'better' himself, if for no other reason than to prove others wrong.'
"Fine… I'll heal you." She replied dully, gently picking up his burnt body to take to her chamber. "I'm going to devote the next few days to you Sylvester, the others can be taken care of by other Pokemon."
As they walked, he leaned closer to her and whispered, just as he fell asleep. "I love you… Helena… my beautiful… beautiful… Helena…"
She smiled at that compliment, even if he was just mouthing off due to lack of energy and unable to form a comprehensive sentence. Still, hearing his honest confession deserved a reward, and so she turned her head and pulled his lips into a warm kiss.
'And I love you… my brave… strong… Sylvester~.'
