Chapter 31: Power Scaling? Mutation, Then!

Tenten had caved and she hated herself for it. Guy worn down her defense and made her do something horrible!

"Tenten, come on and join us for the team photo!" Lee said excitedly.

"No! I look stupid!" Tenten said. "I will never have a photo of me in this jumpsuit! I'd sooner have naked pictures of me than be seen in this thing!"

The group had finished their mission and was back in the village. Might Guy wanted to take a photo to celebrate, and Tenten was not having it.

"You do realize that there are tons of naked pictures of you. Warper internet, brah." A passing kitsune said.

That was the last straw for Tenten as Guy had the jumpsuit thrown at his feet. Tenten walked home naked and fuming with just her ninja pouch, headband, and sandals. Of course, the populace averted their eyes as most did not want Naruto on their case. The few that snuck peaks were soundly kicked between the legs by STORM ninja. Tenten kicked the door to the Uzumaki home open as Sakura came up.

"Mistress, welcome ho…why are you are naked?" Sakura asked awkwardly.

"Just shut up and get me a robe." Tenten said annoyed as Sakura complied.

Robed, she found Naruto asleep on the couch with the chibi plushies on top of them. Tenten giggled getting off before waking him up.

"Mor…WHOA!" Tenten said as Naruto sprang tightly embracing her. "Missed me that much?"

"I did." Naruto said quietly.

"Figured Sakura kept you company." Tenten remarked.

"Personally, I will always favor the company of the important women of my life, Ten-chan." Naruto said kindly kissing her. "Besides, I can't give the love for you to Sakura nor fuck Sakura on the bed with that same passion."

"Well, seeing that you're so excited to see me." Tenten said sweetly. "Maybe we can…"

"Crap, we can't. I have to finish up my training with Jiraya." Naruto said sheepishly. "I just hope he didn't go nuts."

Naruto rushed to shower and dress in his combative clothes before leaving. Tenten sighed plopping down on the couch as Sakura poured her tea. Naruto had arrived at the Haruno's apartment and walked in expecting the worst. Well, it wasn't that bad. Both Haruno women were naked and in the midst of servicing Jiraya's morning wood.

"Ok, Jiraya. We need to wrap up the training. The sooner we do, the sooner we can relax. It's been several days already." Naruto said as Jiraya finished all over Mebuki's face.

"I couldn't agree more." Jiraya said getting his pants up. "Asana, clean that off Mebuki's face, will ya?"

"With my mouth?" Asana asked as Jiraya nodded.

Naruto and Jiraya had left both Haruno to wallow before hitting up an empty training ground.

Team 6 and 9

They had done it. They stole the dowry and were out of that accursed place. Too bad, a souvenir was tagging along.

"Are we there yet?" Nazuna asked.

"No." Asuma answered.

"Are we there yet?"

"No." Tomo answered.

"Are we there yet?"

"No." Shikamaru said getting annoyed.

"Are we…"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Hinata screamed. "I swear if I hear another peep out of it…no medic alive will fix what I will do to you!"

"Well, aren't you ninja able to fly or go faster? I've heard that the Fourth can teleport." Nazuna whined.

"It's more than jus…" Hinata said before pausing.

It had hit her. Why were they walking when she could call Naruto to pick them up? Hinata facepalmed and got out her phone. All the while glaring at Kaiser who looked guilty. He just had to agree to have sex with the heiress! Now they were all stuck with her because her family kicked her out. Even if she was paying them to help her get to Wave, they still wanted to just throw her to the wolves.

"Hello?" Naruto asked as Hinata spoke to him. "Hinata? You all right? Are you hurt?"

Hinata explained the situation and Naruto was already here having using the Hirashin to get to her thanks to her ring. He did not come along having come with Hinoto.

"Hinoto here will take you to Wave." Naruto said. "And the rest of you are going home."

Hinata and Ino were both glad to be home after everything that had happened. Naruto was just pleased at they were returning one by one safe and sound. Naruto was tempted to just go check on the others, but the desired was nulled by not wanting to interrupt their training. He could wait. For now, he just wanted to have lunch with his clan.

"You really seem to be enjoying your terryaki." Ino said as Naruto wolfed down heartily.

"Just in a better mood to eat now." Naruto said sheepishly. "I'm just happy you all are back."

"The feeling's mutual." Ino said before sighing. "Naruto, I need to ask you something. Considering you got a mutation stacked on top your normal strength. I was wanting to ask if you help with helping me get one. Maybe one for all of us."

"I could help with that. If I recall, there's a shop in K13 specializing in that." Naruto explained. "Augmentation Ascension. If you want to go beyond being human, you go to them. I remember…faintly…working for their company long ago."

Naruto looked a bit wistful thinking back on his past but shook it off telling them if they needed funds for it, to go ahead and take what they needed.

"By the way, where Jiraya?" Tenten asked.

"With his wives and son out having a family meal. I don't even want to know how Sai is putting up with that." Naruto remarked with a shudder.

Sai was surprisingly having an okay time of it having adored the attention that his new father gave him. He really liked the portrait of him.

"Tell you what, when you're a bit older, I could use you as my illustrator." Jiraya said.

"Oh, for your Make-Out Paradise books, I actually drew scenes from that." Sai said pointing to an artbook. "Kasumi-obasan thinks I'm pretty good at capturing the scenes."

Jiraya could not believe it. He hit the jackpot.

Sasuke was in the midst of training on the roof of a building in Kitsune 13 with his team. His new upgrades felt amazing and it made his previously hardest workout a lot easier. With a new technique down, he decided to give the alien mutation a try. Sasuke had taken a breath activating the seal which glowed as Sasuke was consumed in a green light as he began to transform. He was warned that the first time would hurt…a lot. He could feel like body turning to ash as it took on a ghastly appearance before a secondary layer of skin formed over said appearance. Sasuke now had a gaseous appearance, claw-like hands, dark grey skin with black lines running all over him, and there two cracks open on the skin for his red eyes with a black pupil. The seal was adorned on his chest looking faintly white.

"How do you feel?" Sai asked.

"Like I just died." Sasuke said with his new voice. "But this feels really weird."

Both Jasmine and Sai decided to both their new forms before transforming themselves. Jasmine had a sudden spurt of growth with her red rushing through every vein in her body. A second set of eyes formed and tore open on her face along with a second set of arms. Her muscle mass increased as her skin turned red with her eyes turning purely yellow. Despite now being a Tertamand, she was still voluptuous and feminine in body shape. Her clothing was unchanged save for the new holes for her new set of arms and her shoes vanishing. Her skin was rough and thorny. Her hair had grown slightly now having a black fringe. Her seal was on the skin on her back.

"I can get used to being this." Jasmine said striking a pose for Sasuke who was glad he could hide his blush.

"This Necrofriggian form was worth my body." Sai said flapping his wings. "It's ghostly, but I got ice powers now. Ice jutsu is going to be a lot easier to learn…is that the Naruto Harem."

Jasmine and Sasuke turned to see Ino, Hinata, and Tenten going into the augmentation store as Sasuke paled.

"Ok. Sai, you and I are going down there to see what they are up to." Sasuke said as Sai looked nervous.

"Won't they sense us?" Sai asked.

"Of course not, we're ghosts." Sasuke said floating down into the store as Sai followed.

Intangible, they tried phasing through the window only to get electrocuted like it was a bugzapper. The harem mates turned to the window, but Alyx waved it off.

"So, that's just the security system to any fools with intangibility thinking they could rob us." Alyx said as Sasuke and Sai fell to the ground in pain before slithering away.

"Bakas." Jasmine said facepalming.

"Can we get mutations to help boost our elemental affinity?" Tenten asked.

"That can be done, what's your affinity?" Alyx asked.

"Primary Fire, Sub Lighting." Tenten stated.

"Ironic that I'm the reserve of that." Hinata said dryly.

"I kind of don't know mine." Ino said sheepishly being handed elemental paper from Alyx.

She applied her chakra and the paper went wet before bursting into flames.

"Fire and Water, right down the middle. If that isn't freaky, I don't know what is." Alyx said a little spooked. "I'm going to probably have to give you two mutations."

Alyx showed her the wares of various species and how the process worked through both sealing and technology. Alyx explained that this selection was species from the Ben 10 universes before showing them others.

"This is our cybernetics upgrades to become an infinite energy android. The process is risky, but if you survive, the benefits are completely worth it. One of your fellow ninja survived it mostly intact." Alyx said before gesturing to a set of vials. "Or, if you want….."

She gave them the full tour before asking if they made a decision. Ino had settled to focus on boosting her fire affinity with a Pyronite mutation, Tenten opted for a Planchaküle mutation wanting to make herself into a living weapon builder, but it was Hinata's choice that shocked Aylx.

"Look, I'm legally required to warn you that an Osmosian mutation is awfully dangerous. Energy addiction can drive you to be mentally unwell. I would sell it to you, but….I really don't want to." Alyx said nervously. "Considering the nature of this world, I really want you to sign a waiver before this mutation will fully turn you into one. If you need a species dealing with energy, may I suggest an alternative?"

Hinata eyed Alyx's fearful expression and accepted as Alyx brought over to vials that glowed pink.

"I introduce you the Andoite species, energy beings that can manipulate life energy, are telepathic, and can access magic and chakra with ease. They are rather expensive." Alyx explained. "But it is cheaper than Osmosian."

"I'll take it." Hinata said with a smirk.

Back home, Naruto was in the midst of a video call with Merch blissfully unaware that he was in for surprises come the tournament.

(A/N: We're skipping to the tournament, next chapter. Everyone is getting mutated to get boosts in their power and Naruto's in for it now. I've had fun decided on what species to mutate with. Karin and the rest may get theirs later. What do you think they should get? Tell me, and look forward to the coming battles.)
