After some time, Zelena and Regina find themselves alone in the kitchen.
"You have a wonderful daughter" Regina says, as she watches Zelena make some sandwiches.
"Yes, I like to think so" the woman smiles.
"Is her father not around?" Regina then asks.
"No. We were not meant to be. He couldn't get over his wife"
Regina's eyes then widen slightly.
"I see" she then says and feels a little awkward.
"Yes, well, I don't like to dwell on such things. We do just fine without him anyway" Zelena then explains and adds "What about you?" You ran off with who I assume, is Henry's father, where is he now?"
Regina frowns at this. She hates the reminder of Daniels death.
"He died" she mutters sadly.
"Oh" Zelena pauses and looks to Regina. "That's unfortunate. You left all this" she gestures around her and adds "for your happy ever after with him and that happens"
Regina crosses her arms defensively.
"Well, it was more than unfortunate but I can't change the past and things are different now" she snaps.
"What was more than unfortunate?" comes Emma's voice, as she joins them in the kitchen.
"Daniels death" Zelena replies simply and looks at Regina, who looks to Emma and see's the blonde frown.
"Did you ever meet this Daniel?" Zelena then asks Emma, who shakes her head and steps next to Regina and puts a hand upon her arm in comfort.
"No I never met him but from what Regina has told me about him, he seemed like a great guy" she then says sincerely.
Regina then smiles at Emma. The blonde is so understanding about her past and acknowledges that Daniel was a big part of her life.
"I'm sure he was" Zelena then says flatly and watches curiously, as Regina puts her hand over Emma's on her arm and squeezes it.
She then carries on with getting the food ready.
It was getting late, when Zelena suggested that Regina, Henry and Emma stay the night.
"As you know, there are guest rooms in this house. I wouldn't oppose to you using them." Zelena says casually, as they sit in the living room and Henry is teaching Robyn a game across the room.
"That's very considerate of you but we couldn't impose" Regina replies.
"You wouldn't be" Zelena replies, as she looks at Regina expectantly.
"We don't really know each other" Regina then replies.
"More reason to stay. Don't you want to get to know your big sis and niece?" she smirks.
"Sure she does" Emma then butts in and Zelena laughs.
"I'm beginning to become rather fond of your friend here. You need to tell me how you two met" Zelena then says seriously.
Both Regina and Emma then look to one another and smile at the memory.
"It's a long story" Regina then replies.
"Well, I'm not going anywhere so do tell" Zelena says back and Regina sighs. She's still a little wary of Zelena's motives but Emma has more faith.
"It's okay Regina. I think we can tell her the truth about how we meet" Emma says softly.
"The truth?" Zelena asks in confusion.
"Yeah" Emma smiles. "You see, I have these superpowers could should call it magic but not like your magic really and that lead to me meet Regina"
Zelena still looks confused.
"I can fly and stuff" Emma then explains.
"You can fly?" Zelena looks surprised and adds "You said you had no magic"
"It's not magic" Emma quickly explains "Where I come from, I save people from bad stuff. That's how I meet Regina"
Zelena blinks.
"You saved Regina from what exactly?" she then asks carefully.
"She was in a hostage situation and I came in and saved the day" Emma explains proudly and Regina rolls her eyes.
"Yes, that's what you like to think" Regina then says sarcastically and Emma hits her on the arm playfully.
"It brought us together, so don't go knocking it" She then says and Regina smiles and then leans in, to whisper something in Emma's ear.
Meanwhile, Zelena tilts her head and watches as Regina and Emma seem to be flirting with one another and she then raises an eyebrow, when Emma begins to chuckle and then starts to blush.
Interesting, Zelena then thinks to herself and then stands up.
"Okay, well, It is getting rather late isn't it. I must get Robyn to bed" she then says and walks over to Robyn.
"Say night to Henry" she tells Robyn. Who waves at him and then hurries off, with Zelena following.
Once Zelena is out of the room, Emma turns and takes Regina's hands into her own and looks into deep chocolate eyes.
"Are you okay?" she asks eagerly.
Regina nods.
"She seems genuine. I didn't detect no lies in anything she said" Emma then says seriously.
"Me neither but we can't let this distract from our mission to get back home?"
"Yeah I know, my parents will be worried out of their minds, I do miss talking to them and this place doesn't have the comforts of home"
Regina nods.
"We should leave tomorrow then, come up with a new plan"
Emma frowns.
"What about your new found family?"
"Your my family. You and Henry. You both come first"
Emma then smiles and she leans in, giving Regina a chaste kiss.
A while later, Zelena leads everyone to their rooms.
"So, Henry you can stay in here" she opens the door and Henry walks in and says "Cool"
"Your mother will be right next door" she tells him and he nods.
Zelena then moves to the next room.
"And this..shall be... the lovers room" she smirks, as both Regina and Emma stare at her with wide eyes.
"You shouldn't look so surprised, unless I've got it wrong which I doubt" she smirks.
"No, you haven't got it wrong" Regina says carefully.
"Yes, I thought so. I'm just disappointed you didn't tell me yourself"
"We've only known each other for a few hours Zelena" Regina replies seriously.
"Yes, but we are family"
"Your keep saying that, but we hardly know each other" Regina then says with a frown and Zelena sighs.
"I know it has not even been a day but can we not know eachother a little better at least. You finding me and Robyn must no be a coincidence "
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"Maybe, if you stick around long enough we will find out" Zelena replies seriously and Regina rolls her eyes and thinks, she's so infuriating.
"Well, I suppose I shall see you all in the morning" Zelena then adds and goes to walk off. Leaving Emma and Regina look to one another and then shake their heads in disbelief.
"Can this day get any more crazy?" Emma says, as they walk into their room.
"I don't know. I hope not." Regina replies and goes to sit on the bed.
"I would never in a million years have thought that I had a sister and niece" she then mutters and runs a hand through her hair, as Emma comes to kneel in front of her.
"Yeah, one that enjoys annoying you" Emma chuckles.
"It would seem so" Regina then replies with a stern look and then takes a deep breath. Before, bringing Emma's hand up to her mouth and kisses it.
"I better go see to Henry. Make sure his okay" she then says softly.
"Sure" Emma smiles and then moves, so Regina can get up and go see Henry.
"I'll be right back" Regina then says, as she walks out the door and Emma falls upon the bed and thinks, what a day.
Ten minutes later, Regina returns and see's Emma looking out the window.
She smiles at the sight and then walks over and wraps her arms around Emma's waist, whilst putting her head on Emma's shoulder.
"You okay?" she asks.
"Yeah. I was just thinking, that this was your home when you was younger. Was this your room?"
"No. This is one of the guest rooms. My room is down the hall and bigger than this one. I do not wish to revisit it"
"Oh?"
"Bad memories" Regina explains.
"Your mother was a piece of work"
"Indeed. Though, if all that didn't happen. I would have never meet you and I can't imagine a life without you now" she smiles and Emma's heart melts.
"The day I meet you was the best thing to happen to me. Even though it was due to a hostage situation" she then says truthfully and Regina smiles and lays a kiss upon Emma's shoulder.
"And there was me worrying, that all this, was going to make you regret getting involved with me"
"Of course not. I live for the drama" Emma then replies with a chuckle and then says seriously "No really. I could never regret being with you. You and Henry are my life now"
"I'm glad to hear that" Regina replies with a smile and a heart, full of joy at Emma's words.
