Prompt from Walls_of_all_things: Love your writing. And if your still doing prompts can you do a pokemon au? I'd love to see what pokemon you'd put them with! Please and thank you!

"Munchlax, that was my sandwich!" Shaggy sighed wearily, shaking his head at the slightly guilty look on his Pokemon's face. Between him and Scooby, it was a wonder he got to eat at all.

With Slurpuff on his other side, eating their own share, and Gogoat sitting timidly in front of him, Shaggy turned his attention to the others.

They had been on this journey for so long now.

Solving mysteries all around the gyms and areas, defending Pokemon and trainer alike.

He focused on Velma first, who was resting against her Metagross. With four brains that are joined together, it was no surprise that the two were drawn to each other, both probably smarter than a supercomputer.

Which was probably why she was so attached to her Archeops, which she had raised from it being a Archeon.

Shaggy could still remember how excited she was to introduce them to the fossil pokemon.

He then turned his attention to Freddie, who was quietly discussing his newest ideas to his Trapinch, who was listening eagerly, his Ariados sleeping beside him.

Freddie loved the trap-type Pokemon, often using them to catch the 'ghosts' they were hunting down.

Shaggy then turned to Daphne, who was sparring with her Hitmonlee, cackling in delight as it mastered a new move and knocked her to the ground, her Blissey clapping to the side and cheering them on.

There was always a moment of shock when Daphne introduced the Hitmonlee as hers, many people not believing such a nice girl could have a fighting Pokemon like that.

In a way, some of the Pokemon they had fit everyone's perceived perception of them… and in other ways, they didn't.

And maybe, that's what made them the perfect team.
