AHHHHH! One more chapter and this fiction is done :D
I kept true to my promise, it wasn't 9 months until my update... 7 is still quite close xD

"How many times have you been here?" Bulma looked up at Goku, adjusting herself to see his face comfortably while snuggled in the pit of his arm. They had spent a couple of nights on Earth now and she had finally decided that it was time to ask him what she had been curious of. Why was he so knowledgeable about this place? Like, beyond knowledgeable. How did he know where to go and what to do? It didn't seem like a first couple of times kind of visit in this city, he knew this place and it was time she asked why.

"Earth?" Moving a bit to ease her struggle to look up at him, Goku was now in a sitting position rather than his previous laying one. He could tell by the way she had asked the question that this would most likely be a serious conversation. He didn't hear any anger in her voice, but it was something that had been on her mind. He was surprised that it took her this long to ask him. It was something he had been anticipating for a while, and it finally surfaced.

"Earth." A small laugh made its way out of Bulma's mouth, giving up on being comfortable in his arms, sitting crisscross next to him with her body facing his. "How come you know so much about this place? The Hotel, the salon, the mall, food places… everything." As magical as the entire trip to Earth had been, it didn't make any sense to her how he knew so much.

"Before being assigned to you," Goku took in a deep breath, "I would make excursions here."

"Why?" Her blue eyes studied the Saiyan's face. She knew that she was about to get a lot of information that she had never thought she would get.

"I had to run the Hot Spots for a while, I was in charge of it. Prince Vegeta always liked the women that I rallied up best. So, this city became his hunting ground, to say the least. He would go to the Slave Trader Ships from time to time, which is the place he found you at, but we would import women from here just for him." His voice was kept monotone. "Whenever they weren't using me to conquer planets, Prince Vegeta would send me here for his personal gain."

Goku had never liked being used by his race, but it was even more of an annoyance when he had to pick the women for the prince. He knew it was so that Vegeta could try to catch up to him on some power level, but that never worked. Instead of sending someone more expendable, he sent one of the most powerful warriors. None of it ever made any sense, but he had no room to argue or decline the order.

"So, you've been here a lot." Her voice, too, was monotone. Bulma knew that Goku was used as a tool to help the Saiyan's further their expansion, but she never knew this part of his life, and she could see why he wouldn't give the information unprompted. She didn't know whether to be mad or indifferent. She didn't feel any less for him and that concerned her. Should she hate him a little bit?

"Yes." Goku let out a sigh before placing one of his hands on Bulma's knees. "I never liked to do it which is why I would venture the city to just get away for a while. I would find a couple of humans within the first couple hours of being here and then I would just take some of the money and stay at the hotel." What he said was true, he would find women fast so he could put someone else in charge and leave. He tried many hotels, but always came back to The Oasis. He would spend ninety-nine percent of his excursions as far away from the Hot Spot as possible.

"Where you used the name Shenron." She looked up at him, placing her own hand on his. Goku hadn't done the whole slave thing in a while, since he had been her guardian for what seemed like an eternity. There were never weeks on end that he was missing once Vegeta had assigned him to her. His past was his past, but she was learning so much about it in such a short amount of time. "Where did you get that name?"

"Shenron," he straightened himself before speaking, "Is a dragon that can grant you wishes if you gather up the Dragon Balls."

"Dragon Balls?" Bulma cut him off, not knowing if he would stop there or continue explaining himself.

"Yes. Legend has it that there are 7 Dragon Balls here on Earth and when you gather them all up, a dragon named Shenron will appear and grant you one wish." Goku knew it was no legend, but instead was the truth since he had seen a Dragon Ball before. He had no way of tracking them, so he was only ever able to see that one. It was a decoration hidden in plain sight at the Hot Spot here in town.

"You're lying." Bulma smirked a little, squeezing his hand in the process. Even with all of the farfetched things that had happened to her in her life, she wasn't about to believe some dragon named Shenron would grant you a wish if you gather 7 specific Dragon Balls.

"What gain would I have from lying to you about this?" He smiled back, pulling her back into the pit of his arm before he slumped back to where they were both laying back down.

"To distract me from your old human trafficking ways." Bulma flipped over from her back to her stomach so she was still able to look at the man in front of her. Although she was upset about his past, there was nothing she could do about it. Plus, he had treated her with nothing but respect her entire life with him, not to mention abandoning his entire race to be there for her. "So, if you gathered the Dragon Balls up, what would you wish for?"

"For you to have never been abducted by the Saiyan Race." Goku looked down at her. She had yet to know his secret that he was the reason she had been taken. He was the reason for all of her hardships. Had she been taken and he never saw her again, he didn't think he would care. But since he got to see the aftermath of his actions after Vegeta had purchased her, assigned him to her, and grew to love this woman, he wished nothing more than for her to have been untouched by his race. She would have lived a normal life with her family. He would miss having never met her, but knowing he was the reason for all of her troubles was something that never sat right with him.

"If you had one wish in the entire world, you'd use it on me?" Bulma questioned once more.

"My life would have carried on whether you were taken or not. Your life has been put on pause because of it." He didn't like the thought of never meeting her, but he would have carried on as usual. He knew that her life was completely torn apart the moment she encountered the Saiyans for the first time. He could wish for his dad to not have been a traitor piece of shit, but then he wouldn't have become the man he was today. That, too, could be said about Bulma, but their situations were completely different and he knew that.

"But then I wouldn't have met you." Bulma's voice lowered a bit. She knew he was right, but the thought of never meeting him soured her stomach. Would she have found a human lover that she felt this strongly for? She honestly didn't want to think about it; she couldn't imagine such a life. Before she and Goku had become an item, she would often fantasize about what her life would have been like had her family not been torn apart. Actually, it was those thoughts of normalcy that kept her so headstrong in this. She wanted to be normal, wanted to come back to Earth and she fought every single day for it. But now she had Goku, without her hardships, she wouldn't have been rewarded with him by her side.

"What would you wish for?" Goku asked, looking down at the blue-haired girl.

"I'd wish to always find you. I know that sounds crazy since I could wish for so many other things, but this is the only life that I really know. The only thing I have ever been certain of has been you, and I couldn't imagine my life without that." Bulma felt Goku's hand on the back of her head, gently pushing her closer to him until he was able to kiss her forehead.

"I love you, Bulma."

"I love you, too."

I remembered that conversation like it was yesterday. It seemed like a lifetime ago, but that was a conversation I would never forget. Looking over at Dende and Nail, it didn't take long until my eyes met Vegeta's dead body once more. He was finally dead and he got everything he deserved. Because of him, though, I had met Goku. In a weird way, Vegeta had been the most outrageous matchmaker for me.

"Dende," I looked back over to the smaller of the two Namekians. "Is it possible to use the Dragon Balls?"

The two Namekians looked at each other before looking at me. I know that they thought what I was asking was crazy, but I wasn't kidding around. I wanted to use them and I was going to get my way. Whether it was because I was an angry pregnant lady or not, shit was about to go down if they refused my request. I had come this far, learned so much, and had been through one hell of a life that I wasn't about to take 'no' for an answer, I wouldn't even entertain that option.

"I don't know if the elders would be alright with that." Dende looked up at Nail before bringing his eyes back on me.

"Well, can you ask?" My arms found their way across my chest as I continued my gaze at the small green alien. It was hard for me not to say 'demand' instead. I had been through so much in such a short amount of time, my lover dead and my tormentor dead all in one moment had made me crazy. Oh yes, and the fact that, again, I was pregnant with one of them being the father. "Goku died for your freedom. He has a son on the way and gave his life up for you and your race so you all could live on. You know he was sent here to kill Nail and then rule over your race, right? Prince Vegeta was going to keep you alive as a medic to him and the rest of the Saiyans while he killed everyone else off."

"That couldn't have happened." Nail piped up, his eyes staying on mine. "I would have destroyed them just like I have."

"You killed Vegeta because Goku was dead. He was far stronger than you or the prince. Can you please just plead my case to your elders? I need these wishes; you've got to try." I knew I seemed like a bitch, but damn if I didn't need to make my wishes come true. I needed to ensure that none of this would ever happen again. I needed everything to be okay.

"We can try." Nail's spoke in his deep voice as his words gave me hope.

It had felt like ages that I had waited for them to talk to their council. Rallying the villages up to discuss what I had requested, I understood that it was an inconvenience for them and I wish I could have talked to them myself, but Dende and Nail wouldn't let me in, so here I sat next to Goku's body.

His face seemed at peace; it was hard to even think of him as being dead. He was a strong man, in will and in strength. In my life of knowing him, I never thought I would be sitting next to his lifeless body. My eyes became watery while I looked at him. He had taken everything away from me, yet, he was also the person who had given everything back. Placing my hand on his cold face, I stroked it from the top of his messy head until I let it rest cupping his cheek.

"You bastard," The water from my eyes finally began to surface, sliding down my cheeks leaving a warm trail in its wake. "Why did you do this for me? Why did you sacrifice yourself? This wasn't the plan." My voice was shaky but calm. We had a plan and he went away from it. I knew that if I knew his real plan that I wouldn't have let him do it, which made sense, but damn him for leaving me. "I am alone without you." I kept my pathetic tone.

My self-pity was short lived when I felt a kick from within. A teary eyed smile formed on my face as I let out an abrupt laugh. I wasn't alone, I had his son. I didn't care if it was really from Vegeta, this baby belonged to myself and Goku no matter what genetic code he possessed. "At least I have a piece of you." I let my hand leave his face to make its way back into my lap. I was going to make this right with my wishes, regardless of the council's decision, I was going to get my wishes and make Goku proud of me.

"Bulma," I heard Dende's voice call me over. "They have made their decision."

"Well don't let it linger, what is it?" My heart sank into my stomach even before I heard what their answer was.

"You may summon Porunga." Dende's face was emotionless, which wasn't an oddity of his kind.

"I can…?" I couldn't believe that I was actually able to make my wishes!

"But," He trailed off some, "Out of the three wishes, we will only let you have two while the last one we will use on our kind."

"Two is all I will need." I stood to walk with the Namekian. I had two wishes, and that was enough for my plan as long as Shenron was truly real.

Walking up one of the hills that led to a village down below, I looked at all of the elder's who each had a Dragon Ball in front of them. 7 Dragon Balls, for their 7 villages. When Dende and I etched closer to the elders, villagers surrounding us all, they began to place the Dragon Balls together. Breaking from my side, I looked on as Dende approached the magical spheres. We waited for what seemed like an eternity before Dende put his hands in the air and started to speak.

"Takkaraputo Popurunga Pupirittoparo!" The words were foreign to my ears as the Namekian spoke them, but I expected nothing less.

The sky went dark as the Dragon Balls began to glow. It was then a beacon of light shot out of each ball, swirling up towards the blackened sky, twisting together until they were completely intertwined up above. The bright yellows turned into shades of green as a form began to shape into the sky. When details of the dragon became clear, a slight glow silhouetted his image.

"Oh my God…" I spoke as I looked into the sky at a ripped as all get out dragon. "That's Porunga?!" I don't know what I expected, but it definitely wasn't that.

"It is Porunga, yes." Dende, too, seemed in awe at the creature above him. Had he ever seen the dragon before? It was then Dende began to speak more of his language, I gathered that he was making his first wish to the creature.

"Did you make a wish?" I asked, my eyes never leaving Porunga.

"I did."

"What did you wish for?" I was curious.

"That any being with an evil soul that would wish destruction on us can never come to our planet again." My mouth smiled at him, that was a wish that I wanted to use myself. I wasn't able to stop the Saiyan's from reaching all planets, but I knew I wanted to try to stop him from reaching the ones I knew about, especially one of this caliber. The Namekians were a peaceful species that wished no harm on anyone, there was no way I was going to let this planet fall to the same destruction of Earth, but since Dende had already wished it, I didn't need to.

"Did he grant it?" I kept on him.

"Yes." A small smile crept on his face as well, knowing that him and his kind would be safe forever.

"What are your wishes? Let me know so I can speak to him."

"He can't understand my language?" It made sense, but I was surprised.

"No, he can, but wishes must be made in Namekian or they will not be granted. It's a safeguard just in case these ever fell into the wrong hands, like the Saiyans."

"That's incredibly smart of you." I spoke as I thought about their concepts. I wondered if Shenron was the same way.

"If you wish for nothing two times, then I can leave." A mighty voice spoke from above at me in my own language. I looked up as Porunga laughed at his own joke, but I could tell he was becoming frustrated. You would think after being cooped up all day long it would be nice to stretch yourself out, especially one of his mass. Maybe he was pulled from another dimension and I was interrupting his feast or something? Either way, pregnant or not, I didn't want to fuck with this Dragon's generosity.

"Yes, I am sorry about that." I spoke truthfully, "Dende, before I make my wish, is Shenron real on my planet?" I had to know before I made any of my wishes.

"I am not sure; I don't know of other Dragon Balls existing besides ours." He broke his gaze from Porunga and placed his eyes on me.

"Shenron?" Porunga piped up once more, his voice carried heavy into my soul. I had not expected him to speak at that moment, my whole body not ready for the heavy bass his voice shot through my body. I knew that my son had felt it, kicking more frequently and harder than he usually did. Man did being pregnant with a half Saiyan child suck. If I ever got pregnant with a fully human child, I knew it would be a breeze compared to this strong nonsense.

"Yes, Goku had told me that planet Earth has Dragon Balls guarded by a dragon with the name of Shenron. Is he real?" I waited in silence, my son kicking and all.

"Yes, Shenron exists." He spoke once more, answering my question. I couldn't believe that Earth really had something like that, and no one else seemed to know of their existence. Was Earth so clouded that they had forgotten about them? Was it a secret that no one wanted to tell each other? Why had they not been used before and why did Goku know about them? My head was spinning.

"Alright then." Having my answer, I balanced myself before turning to Dende once more, "I wish the same as you did but instead for my planet." Now both planets would be safe from the wrath that was to come of the Saiyans, having lost both a King and now their Prince. No longer would the Saiyan's with ill intent be able to come to my home planet again. The trade would be done, no more destruction would be caused by them from now on.

I had thought long and hard about it, juggling if I wanted to remedy all of the human lives that have ever been taken by the Saiyans, but decided against it. What was done was done, I was a true believer in that capacity. Making it to where the Saiyans had never touched humanity would change the timelines of everything for them, it would even kill people who wouldn't be alive today had the Saiyans not intervened. It seemed no matter what, lives would be lost because of what had already happened. That was my thought process, anyway.

When Dende turned his face to me he gave a slight nod. My wish had been granted and I knew it, and now I could make my last wish. I remembered the conversation Goku and I had before about what we would do if we had Shenron for wishes. It stuck in my mind like never before, now especially since he was gone.

Turning to Dende and then back at Porunga, I knew what my final wish from this Dragon would be.
"Dende," I spoke softly while keeping my gaze on the mythical creature. This journey was almost over, and I couldn't even remotely believe it. This whole thing was about to be over and a brand-new chapter, a happier, freer chapter was about to begin. I was going to have a family for the first time in my life. "My final wish is…"
