Star Twinkle PreCure: Cosmic Imagination!
It was a nice, sunny day in the town of Mihoshi. Resting under the shade of a tree, a pair of friends were currently having a small break though they weren't alone.
"So this is the thing you met last night?" One of the pair, a boy of 14 years-old, asked as he pointed down to the creature resting on his friend's stomach, currently napping.
Said creature was hard to explain. Its body was very roundish and covered in what the boy guessed to be cotton? It felt like cotton when he petted the creature earlier. Its body and face are mainly white, with deep blue eyes with light blue accents and gold stars. Her eyebrows are pink and her cheeks were rosy have a tint of yellow. She also has a tail with a big yellow star on it. Her ears, much like the rest of the body, are round and pink with some blue and surrounding her ears are gold rings.
As for the boy, he has black hair that was slicked back with gel though a few strands fell over his forehead(think Yusuke's hair from YuYu Hakusho). He has chocolate brown eyes and a peach-to-tan complexion. An interesting thing to note was his choice of clothing as he wore a short, black jacket over a white T-shirt and baggy pants. In short, he was dressed like a delinquent Yankee. He also wore white sneakers and hanging around his neck was a dog-tag.
"And this thing brought you to outer space?" The boy asked his friend again who nodded.
"It's true!" The boy's friend, a girl, spoke with complete honesty. Said girl has hot pink hair with an ahoge sticking upwards in a curl styled in twin tails with a blue hairband on her head with a yellow star and two little circles on the left side and small yellow hair beads at the bottom. She also has pink eyes. She wears a pink off the shoulder top with a grilled white trim around the top and frilled sleeves. She wears blue overalls over the top with a pink and gold belt and frills at the edge of the shorts along with pink sneakers with frilly pink socks.
"It was crazy! Fuwa here," The girl was referring to the creature resting on her stomach. "...made this star-shaped portal and the next thing I knew, I was in space! There was all this color and planets in shapes I didn't think was possible!"
"If you were in space, how were you breathing?" The boy asked, questioning the logic behind his friend's story.
"I thought that too, but I think it was thanks to Fuwa here," The girl said, looking down at the creature again.
"Honestly, I would have never believed you if this thing wasn't in front of my eyes right now," The boy said, poking the sleeping Fuwa's cheek, getting a cute mumble from it.
"Jealous?" The girl asked with a somewhat smug smile.
"Ha! As if!" The boy half-lied. He was slightly jealous that his friend got to experience such an event, though it wasn't like he hadn't gone to space himself, just not very far.
"Oh come on, there's no need to lie," The girl said, waving a finger at her friend.
"Stop that," The boy said, slapping the girl's hand down.
"Hehe, gomen(sorry)." The girl apologized. Being the space-lovers that they were, she just had to ask. Their common love for space was why they were friends in the first place.
"Hey, hey, let's take a picture of us and Fuwa, and show it to everyone we know!" The girl suggested.
"Baka(Idiot)!" The boy exclaimed, bonking the girl on the head. "Why in the heck would we do that? This is a creature from space! An alien! Who knows what could happen if word got out?"
"I guess," The girl said, seeing her friend's logic. While she didn't think people were that paranoid, it was better safe than sorry.
"Can we at least still take a picture?" The girl asked with begging eyes.
The boy sighs, knowing he couldn't reject his friend when she gave him that look. "You promise to keep this to yourself?"
"I swear on the Cygnus constellation!" The girl promised, crossing her heart and swearing under the constellation meaning friendship.
Smiling in amusement, the boy grabs a backpack that had been lying beside him and opened it, reaching in and taking out what appeared to be a hamburger, though the fast-food looked oddly metallic. Then, the boy took out a strange item. A switch was located on the top as the number '6' was seen in front of an image of a camera lens.
The girl suddenly started getting excited as she watched her friend insert the tiny item into a slot on the side of the burger, and right before their eyes the entire thing transformed.
The 'buns' flipped open as tiny wheels popped out of it. The parts acting as the tomato and lettuce split apart as the parts that split open acted as pincer-like arms. Finally, the 'meat' portion of the burger, a section opened up and turned, revealing a set of dot-like eyes.
"Kira Yaba(Glitterific)~!" The girl exclaims with stars in her eyes as she looks down at the Foodroid which rolls off of the boy's hands.
"This isn't the first time you've seen Burgermeal transform, why are you still reacting like that?" The boy asked.
"But it's just so cool!" The girl said before grabbing her friend's arm and pulling him closer to her as she turns over to the Foodroid. "Burger-chan! Please take a picture! Shinji-kun, smile!"
"Yeah, yeah..." Smiling in amusement, the now named Shinji smiles as he did a peace sign while the girl held Fuwa carefully in her arm.
"Cheese!"
*snap!*
A bright flash came from Burgermeal's eyes, confirming that it took the picture. Then, its eyes glowed as a holographic projection was displayed right in front of the two, showing them the picture it had taken in high resolution.
"Fuwa?" Suddenly, the small creature known as Fuwa awoke in the girl's arms, blinking its eyes to get rid of the drowsiness.
"Oh! I'm sorry, did we wake you up?" The girl asked, apologizing when the small, fluffy creature suddenly flew up and looked up to the skies. "Fuwa?"
"Is something wrong?" Shinji asked as he and the girl stood up, looking at Fuwa in confusion.
"Fuwa! Fuwaaa~!" Suddenly, Fuwa started crying out as she squeezed her eyes shut and the rings around her ears started glowing.
"Wha-!? It's just like last night!" The girl said, recognizing this phenomenon.
"Last night?" Shinji turned to the girl.
"It was before I went...into...space..." The girl said, trailing at the end as she realizes what she said before she and Shinji widen their eyes.
"Could it be!?"
"We're going to space!?" Both pre-teens exclaimed in surprise and a bit of excitement as they looked up towards Fuwa to see what she'll do. Though while the girl was busy looking up at Fuwa, Shinji went over to his bag and grabbed what appeared to be a metallic briefcase that resembled a Japanese school bag. Opening it up, it revealed to be a type of portable terminal while also holding a few more of those strange Switches.
"Fuwaaaaa~!" Squeezing her eyes shut, Fuwa cried out with all her might as the rings around her ears glowed brighter. On the screen of Shinji's terminal, beeping noises were heard as the screen flashed like crazy.
"These energy readings are insane!" Shinji said, amazed at what he was seeing before looking back up at Fuwa. Something big was about to happen.
True to Shinji's thoughts, something did happen. Right before his and the girl's eyes, forming out of thin air was a star-shaped portal. No, it was more accurate to say that it was a wormhole that formed.
"There it is!" The girl exclaimed loudly.
"Incredible, it made a wormhole!" Shinji said, analyzing the star-shaped portal in the air using his terminal via Burgermeal.
"Uh, Shinji-kun?" The girl suddenly spoke up.
"What is it?" Shinji said, not looking up from his terminal.
"You might want to see this." Confused and curious as to what his friend was talking about, Shinji looks up and sees what has the girl so worked up.
Right there, from within the wormhole, something appeared to be coming through the star-shaped portal.
"Is that...a rocket?" Shinji muttered, identifying the incoming vehicle upon closer look.
Indeed, it was a rocket that came through the wormhole. Blue seemed to be the primary color of the ship as star-shaped windows were situated around three spots of the ship as a yellow antenna was situated right on top of the rocket.
Dust and dirt were kicked up as the thrusters of the rocket flared up, allowing the ship to gently land right in front of the two.
"What in the world...?" Shinji muttered as both he and the girl stared at the rocket in awe.
*sssssss!*
Suddenly, a section of the ship split open and lowered into a platform. From within, a blinding light came forth, covering two figures in shadows and making it hard to identify who was coming out.
"No way..." The girl began.
"Could it be...?" Shinji continued as what looked like stars appeared in his eyes.
"Uchujin(Aliens)!?" The two pre-teens said as one, one more excited than the other.
"Hikaru! How do I look!? How's my hair!?" Shinji suddenly asked his friend, speaking her name for the first time as he asked her about his appearance.
"Oh! Uh, you're fine. Same as always!" Hikari quickly answered, surprised by how excited her friend was being, though she understood why. If there was anything Shinji liked as much as space, it was aliens.
"Quick! Look as non-threatening as possible!" Shinji said, not wanting to intimidate what was possibly real aliens.
"R-Right!" Hikaru said, patting herself down in an attempt to make herself presentable. She wouldn't lie, she was just as excited as her friend.
And then...
"Oyo..."
"Huh?" Both Shinji and Hikaru stopped patting themselves down and turned to see that one of the supposed aliens was leaning against the side of the ship, looking ready to hurl.
"You got travel sickness~de purunsu!?"
With the light no longer hiding their figures, both Shinji and Hikaru saw just what the aliens looked like.
The one who looked ready to throw up was surprisingly human in appearance and looked to be a girl around their age. She has short dark turquoise hair with one pale blue and one light pink streak on the right side. On the sides of her head are light pink buttons with a magenta heart in the center with what looked to be antennae dangling from them with small golden yellow orbs at the end. Her eyes are also turquoise with star pupils and she has pointy ears, another thing that told the two that she wasn't human like them.
For clothes, she wears a white dress with a light pink design lining the bottom and a turquoise border right at the end. Worn over that is a short-sleeved pale yellow jacket with light turquoise designs throughout it. On each sleeve is the symbol resembling the buttons on her head. It also has a light blue collar with a white stripe and a magenta heart in the middle. Around her waist is a thin purple belt that hangs toward the left with a cerulean blue purse with a golden ring around it resembling the planet Saturn. On her right hand is a turquoise finger-less glove with that same symbol on top of the hand. Finally, she wears turquoise and white sneakers with the symbol near the top and loose-fitting pale yellow socks.
As for the other alien, it was anything, but human. In fact, it looked like a small octopus who is light blue in color. From the sound of his voice, this octopus-like creature seemed to be a male as on top of his head were two antennas with yellow stars at the tips.
"Daijobu ga~de purunsu?" The octopus-like alien asked his companion who quickly got off the ship in fear of throwing up. Luckily, she was able to fight down the urge to puke out her lunch as the octopus-like alien rubbed the girl's back with one of his tentacles.
"That warp hole appearing out of nowhere surprised me..." The octopus said while massaging his companion's back. "We just got warped like that~de purunsu."
"Lun Lun..." The female muttered as she waved her hand to indicate she was now fine. As proof, she got up to her feet seconds later.
"We're this far-out, at the edge of the universe. To think we'd land on Earth!" The octopus said, riding on the girl's shoulder before they both turned and finally realized that they were not alone.
"..."
"..."
"..."
"...Hello!" Shinji was the first to break the silence, greeting to two aliens with his best smile.
"AHHHHHHHHH~!" That seemed to be the wrong thing to do as they both started screaming. "Oh no! An Earthling saw us! And there's two of them~de purunsu!"
"Earthlings..." Shinji repeated what the octopus called them.
"Then, they really are...!" Hikaru began as stars filled the pair's eyes. "Kira Yaba~!"
"Eh?" Before the two aliens could react, both Shinji and Hikaru ran up to the two, the latter getting a bit too close for comfort while Shinji extended his hand out for a handshake.
"You really are aliens!"
"Hajimemashite(Nice to meet you)! Welcome to Earth!"
"What are those? Antennas? Kawaii(How cute)!"
"Have no fear! We come in peace!"
"What's with these two!? Are these Earthlings not afraid of aliens!?" The octopus exclaims in surprise only to attract the full attention of the two space lovers.
"Far from it! We love aliens!" Shinji exclaims, his hand still extended out for a handshake.
"We also love constellations and space!" Hikaru added, moving even closer into the alien's personal space. "Cryptids and occult stuff too, oh and also...!"
"Too close~de purunsu!"
Seeing that the octopus-like alien was getting uncomfortable by how close Hikaru was, Shinji managed to reign in his excitement to grab and pull the pinkette back.
"I think you're making them uncomfortable, Hikaru," Shinji pointed out as the girl simply rubbed the back of her head and laughed.
"Lun!" Suddenly, the more human-like alien cried out, pointing over to where Fuwa was, having been floating from the back and watching the entire interaction while the Burgermeal Foodroid kept the creature company while also recording everything.
"There she is!" The octopus exclaimed loudly.
"Lu lu lu lu lun~!" The turquoise-haired alien spoke to her octopus companion, speaking in a language that was strange and nothing Shinji and Hikaru have ever heard of.
"What did she just say?" Shinji asked the octopus as it was the only one who could speak their language, wondering just how it knew Japanese.
"She's saying we got separated at some point in our travels~de purunsu," The octopus explained, referring to them and Fuwa who was now keeping herself busy by playing with Burgermeal, lifting the Foodroid up into the air while the droid kept on recording everything. "We were really worried."
"You got separated?" Shinji said, slightly confused.
"Ah!" Hikaru suddenly spoke up, having realized something. "I think I called her here."
"You mean from last night?" Shinji asked and the girl nodded.
"This picture came into my mind," Hikaru explained as she brought out her notebook and opened it to a page where she showed a drawing of Fuwa, designed to be like a constellation. The words: Fuwa Constellation, were written right under the drawing.
"And that's when Fuwa appeared, right?" Shinji asked, having heard the story from Hikaru earlier.
"Yeah! It was like drawing a magic circle or something."
"Magic circle? That's ridiculous," The octopus said until he realized something. "Um, who's Fuwa?"
"It's her name," Shinji said, pointing up at the now fluffy alien who responded with a cute "Fuwa~!" before dropping Burgermeal into Hikaru's arms as the cute little thing landed on top of the pinkette's head.
"I thought it up myself!" Hikaru said, looking a little proud.
"You can't just make up names like that!" The octopus exclaimed before jumping off his companion's shoulder and faced the two Earthlings. "She has a proper name, you know."
"Oh? And what is it?" Shinji asked, curious.
"Her name is Spegasus Pulalan Mofpit Prinsewink."
"Wow, that's a mouthful," Shinji commented.
"Yeah. Fuwa's just fine," Hikaru said, agreeing with her friend.
"Fuwa~!" And it seemed Fuwa herself agreed with the two Earthlings much to the octopus' surprise.
"EH!?"
"Pff!" The turquoise-haired alien girl suddenly laughed, amused by the conversation happening in front of her. Seeing this, both Shinji and Hikaru looked at one another and smiled as if having accomplished something.
"I think it's safe to say our first contact with aliens is a success," Shinji said with an accomplished smile.
"Fuwa~?" Fuwa spoke up as if saying, 'What about me?'
"I'm not sure if you count," Shinji said as if somehow understanding the fluffy alien. He then turned to the two aliens and, once again, extended out a hand for a handshake. "Allow us to introduce ourselves. "I'm Shinji, Yujin Shinji."
"And I'm Hikaru! Ho-shi-na Hi-ka-ru!" Hikaru introduced herself more slowly to make sure the turquoise-haired girl understood her.
"Lala," The alien girl introduced herself before grabbing Shinji's offered hand and shaking it. Immediately after, Shinji turned to Hikaru in excitement.
"Hikaru! I shook hands with an alien!"
"That's awesome!" Hikaru said before repeating Lala's name in her mouth. "Lala...That's a cute name."
"And what about you?" Shinji asked the octopus.
"I am Puruns~de purunsu." He said with a wink.
"That name, not so much," Hikaru commented, not finding it as cute as Lala's name.
"Hey, be nice," Shinji said before asking the two aliens, "It seems you two were traveling. Mind if we ask what for?"
"We're looking for the legendary warriors, the Pretty Cures~de purunsu!" Puruns answered.
"Pretty Cure?" Hikaru repeated in confusion until she realized what the octopus-like alien had said and once again, stars appeared in her eyes. "Wait! Did you say Pretty Cure!?"
"Y-Yeah..." Puruns said, stepping back in alarm at Hikaru's sudden excitement.
"Shinji-kun! He mentioned Pretty Cure, didn't he!? Didn't he!?" Hikaru asked, turning to her friend for confirmation.
"He did," Shinji said, causing Hikaru to start jumping around in excitement, much to the confusion of Lala and Puruns.
"What's up with her~de purunsu?" The octopus-like alien asked.
"Oh she's just geeking out," Shinji said. "If there's anything that comes close to her love of space, it's anything Pretty Cure related."
"Lun Lun?" Lala spoke up, but of course, no one understood her except for Puruns.
"You know about Pretty Cure~de purunsu?" He asked while also translating for Lala at the same time.
"It's not a matter of do I know, but rather the entire world knows about them," Shinji said, shocking the two aliens.
Indeed, if there was one thing well known throughout the entire world, it was the existence of the legendary warriors known as Pretty Cure. Once just an urban myth, the existence of these magical girls was confirmed in 2008 when a huge battle was caught on live television. Since then, new groups of Pretty Cure have been popping up seemingly every few years, combating threats to the entire world multiple times and succeeding every time.
*Beep-Beep-Beep!*
Suddenly, Shinji's terminal started making noises, drawing the attention of everybody.
"What the heck?" Confused and wondering what was going on, Shinji went over the disguised school bag and picked it up to see what was going on.
"Is something wrong?" Hikaru, having finally calmed down, asked.
"I'm getting some sort of energy reading. It's similar to the energy Fuwa emitted when summoning that wormhole," Shinji said, looking at the data in front of him.
"Similar to Fuwa?" Hikaru repeated, confused when Puruns suddenly gasped.
"It can't be!"
*SHOOM!*
Suddenly, appearing out of thin air was another wormhole or a warp hole as Puruns had called it earlier. However, unlike Fuwa's star-shaped warp hole, this one was a perfect circle. Another thing was that while Fuwa's was mostly bright in color, this new one was dark in color.
"Another wormhole!?" Shinji exclaimed in surprise as something flew out of the dark warp hole followed by five similar-looking ones. Stars then appeared in Shinji's and Hikaru's eyes at just what had appeared.
"No way! Are those...!?"
"UFOs!" Hikaru finished as both she and Shinji stared in excitement at the group of Adamski UFOs.
"Picture! Picture! Quickly, take a picture!" Shinji quickly said, motioning to Burgermeal to quickly take pictures of the UFOs in the sky.
While both space lovers were busy geeking out, they didn't notice Lala backing away as from one of the UFOs, someone appeared.
"Hm? A man?" Hikaru, noticing someone appearing from the UFO, calmed down to see who had shown up.
"No, wait, a...kappa?" Shinji, he too calming down, spoke in confusion at who showed up.
Indeed, the person who appeared from one of the UFOs was not human but had a human-like appearance. Another alien, they guessed as the alien bore a lot of similarities to a kappa, one of many Japanese youkai.
The kappa-like alien stood tall and had pointy ears. His skin tone is water green and his forehead has a red oval mark. His hair is olive green styled in a straight bob style and in the center of it, he has a bald characteristic of the Kappa. In terms of clothing, he wore a suit that is mainly dark green with an apple green torso and has orange tones on his thighs. Over the shoulders are silver shoulder pads and a large silver neck inlaid with three pearls in the middle. His shoulder straps protrude from his shoulder pads, he wears transparent blue sleeves on his elbows. As for footwear, he uses silver pointed boots with light blue tones. On his neck, he wears a gold necklace and uses transparent orange lenses on his eyes.
The necklace around the kappa-like alien flashed with different colors for a bit before stopping.
"Earth language? Looks like we ended up on quite a primitive planet," The kappa-like alien finally spoke, his voice deep.
"Another alien?" Shinji guessed as there was no one on earth with such blue skin.
"You can't just run away from Kappard, that being me!" The new alien said, introducing himself as his head flashed from under the sunlight.
"So cool!" Hikaru exclaimed.
"Oi oi..." Shinji waved his hand at Hikaru, not sharing the pinkette's opinion.
"Fuwa!" Suddenly, Fuwa suddenly flew down from Hikaru's head and tried to hide in Hikaru's chest, cowering in fear.
"Fuwa?" Hikaru looked down at the cute alien, wondering what was wrong.
"I came here for her," Kappard said, referring to Fuwa. "We, the Notraiders, need her in order to take over the universe."
"Take over the universe?" Shinji repeated, confused before Lala suddenly ran up and stood in front of them, hands stretched out in a protective manner.
"Lun! Lu Lun!"
"Doesn't seem like you'll hand her over. How unfortunate...for you," Kappard said, smiling wickedly. "I'll just have to take her by force then."
Quickly, before anyone could react, Puruns took something out and threw it into the Whatever was thrown it transformed into some sort of saucer which the octopus got in and flew around.
"Lala! We need to run~de purunsu!" He said before he went and snatched Fuwa from Hikaru's arms, much to the girl's surprise, before flying back to the rocket he and Lala came from. "Thanks for the warm welcome, but we gotta go~de purunsu!"
"Ah! Hey, wait!" Shinji called out, but the two had already run back inside their ship.
"Fuwa! Fuwa~!" The cries of Fuwa were heard as she was carried away from the two. Seeing this, both Shinji and Hikaru looked at one another.
"...you thinking what I'm thinking?" Hikaru asked her friend who just smiled in response.
*BOOM!*
Moments later, the exhaust ports of the rocket came to life and in the blink of an eye, the whole ship blasted off into the skies. Inside, Lala, Puruns, Fuwa, Hikaru, and Shinji all grunted and cried out as the g-force generated from the sudden takeoff pushed down on everyone. That's when the first two noticed the latter two.
"Eh!? Why are you two here~de purunsu!?"
"Heh! As if we can pass up the chance to ride in a real alien rocket!" Shinji said through gritted teeth as he dealt with the pressure pushing down on everyone, doing better than Hikaru who could only hold onto one of the seats and cry out.
Finally, after a few seconds, the ship finally stopped moving and the g-force pushing down on everyone subsided, much to Hikaru's relief as she collapsed to the floor.
"You okay?" Shinji asked his friend, looking pretty winded himself as he helped Hikaru up.
"I'm fine," Hikaru said, assuring her friend as she sat down on a couch located to the side of the ship, releasing her hole on Burgermeal which she had carried onto the ship with her along with her notebook.
"Talk about reckless~de purunsu," Puruns commented as Fuwa, happy to see the two, flew over to them and started snuggling up to their faces.
"Fuwa!" Hikaru smiled, happy to not have parted with the little alien yet before she cried out when her body started floating up. "Wah! My body!"
"Hikaru! Look outside!" Shinji cried out, motioning the pinkette over to one of the windows as the two looked outside.
"Wah~! Kira Yaba~!" Hikaru exclaimed as outside, it revealed that the ship was now right over the Earth itself, floating right over the clouds and sky of the planet as stars filled the area that was outer space.
"This view never gets old," Shinji said, smiling.
"Yeah. This is way different than looking at it from the moon," Hikaru said, smiling as well.
"Heh, isn't it?" Puruns said, smirking and crossing his arms-er, tentacles. A moment later he realized what Hikaru had just said. "Wait, the moon?"
"Oh, yeah," Hikaru said, turning away from the window to speak to the alien. "Shinji and I usually view the Earth from the moon."
"The moon?" Puruns repeated as he pointed over to another window which showed off Earth's moon. "As in, that moon?"
"Yep!" Hikaru said with a smile as Shinji turned away from the window to tell Lala and Puruns,
"This isn't our first time being in outer space."
"Eh?" Both aliens stared at the two, confusion written all over their faces as they tried to process what they had just been told.
But suddenly...
*BOOM!*
The entire ship shook as something struck it from outside.
"Whoa!" Shinji cried out in surprise, trying to regain his balance. "What was that!?"
"Look! It's them!" Hikaru pointed back to the window where outside, the UFOs from before were now in space themselves and were heading right towards them.
"Uh oh," Shinji said when he saw the UFOs firing lasers at them. "Evasive maneuvers!"
Seeing the incoming threat, Lala quickly took control of the ship and tried dodging the incoming barrage of lasers. Just when it seemed like they would get away unscathed, one laser fire managed to hit them, causing damage to the ship as all the lights went out before one of the windows suddenly broke, causing a vacuum to occur as Hikaru's notebook was sucked out into space followed by Fuwa who cried out.
"Fuwa!"
"Shit!" Shinji cursed as he and Hikaru went to go after Fuwa only to be grabbed and held back by Puruns.
"Don't~de purunsu! You Earthlings can't survive out in space~de purunsu!"
"But Fuwa's in danger!" Hikaru said as she grabbed the tentacle holding her and managed to free herself, surprising everyone as the girl was soon sucked out into the vacuum of space.
"That idiot!" Shinji cried out as he too freed himself from Puruns and followed after the pinkette.
"Ah! You're both idiots~de purunsu!" Puruns cried out before he went over to the broken window and expanded his body out, acting as a plug to the window before trying to locate the two Earthlings.
"Hmph! What foolish humans," Kappard, appearing from one of the UFOs, commented as he had no problem breathing in space. "Unlike we Amphicaeliums, you cannot survive in the vacuum of space, yet..."
*SHINE!*
"Hm?" Kappard stopped talking as suddenly, from where both Hikaru and Shinji were at, a light shined from them.
"Mmmmm...pwah!" Shinji gasped for breath, having closed his eyes shut and held his breath when he was sucked out into space. He fully expected to suddenly start choking when he found himself able to breathe just fine. Looking down at himself, he found that his entire body was glowing.
"What in the...?"
"It's all right, Shinji-kun," Hikaru spoke up, floating right next to the boy's side as her body was glowing as well. In her arms was Fuwa who she assured was now safe. "It's okay, there's nothing to fear now."
"Baka yaro(You stupid idiot)!" Shinji shouted right in Hikaru's face, making the girl cry out in surprise in the face of Shinji's anger. "What the hell did you think you were doing!? Jumping out into the vacuum of space like that!?"
"Well, I had a feeling I'd be all right," Hikaru said before looking down at Fuwa. "No, I knew I'd be all right because I have Fuwa here."
"Fuwa!" The cute little alien cried out.
"And besides, you jumped out too," Hikaru pointed out.
Having no way to refute the girl, Shinji just sighed before smiling.
"You're still an idiot." Hikaru's response was to stick out her tongue cutely.
"Those two..." Puruns said, looking at the two Earthlings in amazement while Lala floated over to the window.
"I see, so she has that kind of power. That's a good reason for my master to desire it," Kappard said, figuring that it was Fuwa that was allowing the Earthlings to survive in space. Adjusting his sleeves, the kappa-like alien then takes out a yellow handle as two blades of light extended out from both ends. "Now, hand her over! We shall use that power, not you!"
"Use, huh?" Shinji said, raising an eyebrow at Kappard as he took out a pocket comb, flipping it open before using it to comb back and adjust his hair. "You hear that, Hikaru? Sounds like they've got bad intentions for Fuwa here."
"Fuwa...Fuwa's not some item!" Hikaru yelled out, getting the fluffy alien to look up at her in surprise. "We won't hand her over!"
"That power will change the universe!" Kappard said, jumping off his ship and propelling himself over to the duo, his beam saber at the ready. "With that power, we can rule over space!"
"Like hell we'll let that happen!" Shinji shouted, reaching for something behind him.
"I don't understand, but I'm going to protect her!" Hikaru declared, holding Fuwa close to her. "I will...!"
"We will...!"
"Protect Fuwa!" Both Hikaru and Shinji announced to all those listening and to the vastness of space itself.
Fuwa looked between both Hikaru and Shinji, amazed and touched that two people she's barely met were willing to go out of their way to protect her. And then...
"FuuuuuWAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~!"
"Nani(What)!?" Kappard cried out in surprise, being pushed back by a shockwave as light seemingly erupted from both Fuwa and Hikaru.
"Hikaru!" Shinji too was surprised as he turned around to Hikaru was shining so brightly that it was blinding.
"Fuuuuwaaaa~!" Fuwa cried out again as the rings around her eyes shined and spin. Then, Hikaru's notebook suddenly starting glowing, much to Hikaru's surprise.
"My notebook!" Right before her eyes, Hikaru's notebook transformed as it is now purple with gold patterning around the edges. The outline of a star with three tails- blue, yellow, and red- is in the center of the book. A cloud decal with the words {Twinkle Book} on it is near the top of the book, with a yellow star directly above it and a small outline of a yellow star on either side. A pink teardrop-shaped- jewel with a white outline is near the bottom of the book, with a picture of the Little Dipper to the left of it and the Big Dipper to the right.
From the contents of the book, two orbs of light flew out and over to Hikaru where a small *pop* soon revealed what they were.
"Eh? An ink bottle pendant...and a pen?" Hikaru said, confused at the two items.
Indeed, around Hikaru's neck was some sort of ink bottle pendant. The pendant is mostly shaped like a circle with a magenta base. Its main design is a giant yellow star with a silver round dial that has a blue heart with gold trimming. On the dial are the zodiac symbols. On the top left side of the pendant is an opening with a pink heart, trimmed with gold and with light pink wings.
As for the pen, it looked to be some sort of ink pen. The handle was mainly pink while from the top, a clear feather was attached and filled with stars coming in pink, teal, blue, yellow, and purple.
Staring in both confusion and awe, Hikaru reached out and grabs the pen floating in front of her. And then...
*SHINE!*

"Star Color Pendant!"
"Hikaru!" Squinting his eyes, Shinji tried to see just what Hikaru was doing as he made out the girl waving around the pen before inserting it into the ink bottle pendant.
"Color Charge!" Hikaru cried out as she waved around her pen and...started singing?
"Kirameku hoshi no chikara de akogare no watashi egaku yo(With the power of the sparkling stars, I will draw the me I long to be)!"
Right before everyone's eyes, Hikaru started to change. Her hair grew longer and bigger and forms big round ball-shaped buns with light pink rings at the bottom of her twin tails. Her twin tails are held by large star-shaped ties with the buns being held in place by their own large star ties. On top of her head is what looks to be a blue Saturn planet with a pink flower in the middle, surrounded by a white ring in the middle, her earrings are gold and she wears a pink choker with a gold star attached to it. Her outfit consists of a one-piece dress colored in different variations of pink. Her sleeves are feather-like, with white straps going over her shoulders, and two others on her arms, with the second layer being a light pink color. She wears her Star Color Pendant on her chest, and going down the front of her dress are two gold stars, with a splash of magenta on the side of her dress. On her waist are magenta sakura petals and a bag. Her skirt is mainly light pink with magenta trim and a white frilly layer underneath. On the back is a gold ribbon with a yellow star in the middle. She wears white fluffy bracelets on her wrists. She wears one pink sock her right leg that as a large gold star on the front. Her shoes are pink with a light pink tone at the end, with white fluffy trim and a gold star on the front.
"Twinkle! Twinkle Pretty Cure!"
"Twinkle! Twinkle Pretty Cure!"

As Hikaru was finishing up her transformation, Shinji meanwhile looks at everyone, specifically the Notraiders to see if they did anything only to see them just staring.
'Are they...are they just going to let this happen?' Shinji thought to himself, wondering why the enemy was just standing-er, floating in this case.
"Star Twinkle!"
"Star Twinkle Pretty Cure!"
Finally finished transforming, Hikaru places her pen into her bag before she goes and introduces herself.
"Sora ni Kagayaku Kirakira Boshi(The twinkling star that shines throughout the universe)! Cure Star!"

"...The heck are you saying?" Shinji said, more confused than surprised at what Hikaru just said.
"Wait, what am I saying!?" Hikaru said, having snapped out of whatever trance she was in as she finally realized that she had transformed!
"I was singing something too!"
"If it makes you feel any better, you got a good voice," Shinji commented as Burgermeal floated by him, having been sucked out into space too and had recorded everything, knowing full well that its user would want to look into this later.
"What the heck~de purunsu!?" Puruns cried out as he and Lala both stared in shock and awe at Hikaru, now Cure Star.
"Am I...am I a Pretty Cure!?" Star exclaimed in surprise, recognizing just what she had become.
"Well, judging from the light show you just showed off and the massive amount of pink on you, I'm pretty sure you're a Pretty Cure now," Shinji said.
"This...this is...Kira Yaba~!" Star exclaimed excitedly and happily, checking herself out.
"She's a Pretty Cure?" Kappard said in surprise, having heard of the stories even from across space. That's just how legendary and famous the Pretty Cures were.
"This just got interesting," Kappard said, taking this as a challenge as he waves his hand out. "Scramble, Nottoreies!"
"Nottorei! Nottorei!" Suddenly, from the other ships, groups of goons flew out from the ships. Said goons are mainly light gray in color with dark grey sleeves and a belt. They wear white gloves and boots with dark grey tops. Their face is also light grey with a dark grey antenna on their head. On their face is the word "NO" positioned vertically as the "O" acted as the mouth and is colored purple.
"Wow, that's a lot of goons," Shinji commented, looking more surprised than intimidated, same with Hikaru.
"Shinji-kun, what should we do?" Star asked as she held Fuwa close to her.
"What else? Kick their space butts!" Shinji said as he finally pulled out whatever he was holding behind him, some sort of device that was clear in color. A screen made up the middle part as four of those Switches were inserted into slots, two on each side of the screen. To the right was a handle as in front of the slots were red flip switches.
"Hm? What's that?" Kappard thought out loud, wondering just what the male Earthling was doing.
"Watch closely, Notraiders! I'm about to show you that Earth isn't as primitive as you think!" Shinji announced as he slapped on the strange mechanism, causing a belt to sudden form and wrap all the way around Shinji's waist until it reconnected with the buckle. He then flipped the red Transwitches down, causing the Status Monitor to light up.

With all four Transwitches flipped, Shinji waves his arms around until his right grabs the Enter Lever while his left was held right in front of him as from the belt, a countdown started.

"Huh?" Kappard and the Nottoreies all looked on in confusion.

"What's he doing~de purunsu?" Puruns wondered out loud as he and Lala watched what Shinji was about to do.
Meanwhile, Cure Star and Fuwa looked on, a big smile adorning the former's face as she held up a finger and shouted, "One!"

"Henshin!" Shinji cried out before pushing the lever. He then threw his left hand to the side and raised his right hand up. Then, steam suddenly blasted out from the belt, almost blowing Star back who had been standing close. Two hologram metallic circles then appeared below and above Shinji and seconds later, his form was replaced with armor.
Said armor consisted of a white bodysuit with the shoulders and the area around it was silver. Two orange lines, one on each side, was what separated the silver and white apart from each other. On his back was some sort of backpack that acted like a jet pack, only it shot out steam. Around his forearms and legs were white metallic gauntlets and boots, each adorned with a different shape; the right arm had an orange circle, the left arm had a black square, the right leg had a blue X, and the left leg had a yellow triangle. Around his waist was the belt, having remained unchanged. Finally, covering Shinji's head was a rocket-shaped helmet as the faceplate was black and the lens was dark orange.
"Yosha(All right)!" Shinji cried out, swing his arm out to blow away any remaining steam as everyone looked at him in complete surprise.
"EH!? What the heck is that~de purunsu!?" Puruns exclaims loudly in surprise as Lala looked on wide-eyed.
"Wha-!? What are you!?" Kappard said, floating back in surprise.
"You want to know who I am?" Shinji said as he ran his right hand across his helmet as if he was slicking back his hair. "Well, I'll tell you. The name's Kamen Rider Fourze!"
"Kamen...Rider...?" Puruns repeated the title, confused yet he swore he heard the name from somewhere before.
"Four...ze...?" Lala spoke slowly, trying not to mispronounce the name.
"Kira Yaba~!" Star stared starry-eyed(pun intended) at Shinji with Fuwa mimicking her expression. "Oh, that's so cool, no matter how many times I see it!"
"Heh," Smirking under his helmet, Shinji, now Fourze, floated next to Star as he held out a fist to her. "What do you say, Star? Shall we show these goons the true power of space?"
Star smirks back as she fists bump the Rider's hand. "Let's!"
The space-themed Rider smiles under his helmet as he and Star stood together, ready to face off against a threat from beyond the stars. But then...
"Ah! I almost forgot," Fourze spoke up, turning to Star again. Even with the helmet on, the Cure could tell what the Rider was thinking and soon, both space lovers smirked before they both crouched down.
"Uchu..."
"Hm?" Everyone watching looked at the two in confusion, until they both threw their limbs outward and shouted at the top of their lungs...
"KITAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~!"
And so, with the birth of a brand new Pretty Cure came a brand new team-up. Star Twinkle PreCure and Kamen Rider Fourze, both sides wielding the power of space. Like those that came before them, they will be a force to be reckoned with for both those on planet Earth and those watching beyond the stars.
And done! Huh, that turned out to be longer than I thought, but oh well. It came out all right and that's all that matters. I do hope you all liked today's story idea. As I'm sure most of you know, Star Twinkle has officially ended and I've decided to put this out in honor of it. From what I read, Star Twinkle has mixed feelings with viewers. I can't give out my option since I haven't watched anything beyond the first episode and a few clips, but that really doesn't matter since I make it my mission to make good stories using whatever I'm given. Speaking of stories...
I'm pretty sure by now the newest series is already up with its first episode, Healin' Good PreCure. Now I'm sure all of you know just which Rider I'm going to be pairing with that show, it was obvious from the start with a name like "Healin'" and with one of the themes involving medicine. Look forward to that story idea if and when I decide to work on it.
Anyway, I hope you all loved today's story idea. As you can see, I'm using the character I had planned to use when I originally planned for Fourze to be paired with Smile, Yujin Shinji. His personality has been tweaked a little, but nothing's final yet. I also changed his appearance, mostly switching his hairstyle to resemble Yusuke's hair from YuYu Hakusho. I know some of you wanted the protagonist to have a pompadour, but if you look at the YuYuHa manga, you'll see that Yusuke's hair is technically a pompadour too, at least in the beginning. I like to think Yusuke's hair was just a really, really short pompadour that's barely noticeable when compared to someone like Kuwabara. Anyway, I'm getting off-topic. The point is, this will be Shinji's final design unless I change my mind.
