"Once upon a time, on the far off island of Alto Mare, there lived an old man and woman. One day as they were walking along the seashore, the couole found two children who washed up on the shore and looked injured. Thanks to their help the children were able to become healthy again, but all of a sudden a monster attacked the island and almost consumed it all. Just as it was about to attack the old man and woman the children transformed. They were the infinite Pokémon Latias and Latios. They were both known as the "Eon Duo". And with the help from their friends from the sky, they've all brought down the darkness with a new intensive new power that was brought to them. A beautiful jewel called the Soul Dew. From that day on the island of Altomare lived in peace as Latios and Latias visted frequently and no monsters ever attacked again.

Zooming out we see that it was being read from a book. But before more could be read, some footsteps echoing inside the building.
"Shh someone's coming."
Running to the window two figures jumped out of it before the security guard arrived to see that in place of a book was a red rose.
He picked it up with a shocked look onto his face, then suddenly falls to the ground. He shines his flashlight to it and sees a card.
On the card were two lip marks leaving the man confused.
Sliding down to a car on a zip line two females land inside it. One had long blonde hair and the other had short silver hair.
"Isn't this just an old fairy tale?" The blonde asks. "It couldn't be real could it?"
"Oh it's real." The silver hair girl said. "The Soul Dew, Latias and Latios. Every single one." She said before she hits the gas and drove.
"I just can't wait to get my hands on that jewel." The blonde said holding the book.
"You're greediness aside, we're bound to find something more interesting than just a jewel." The silver hair said as they drove over a cliff, and right when it seemed it was gonna fall. The silver hair girl pressed a button and the car transforms into a jet.
Racing across the water they're came across a town in the middle of the water.
"There it is."
"Altomare."
With the both of them grinning, they flew and disappeared into the city's night.
Those two were Annie (Blonde) and Oakley (Silver).
Pokémon Heroes-Latios and Latias
The next day, a race was going on through the canals of Altomare and as Tomo, Molly and Brock watched from above Ash and Misty prepped themselves.
Ash and Misty both told Molly and Brock to watch over Gaia and Togepi while they were racing. Ash will be racing with Riptide while Misty was with her Corosola.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, it's a beautiful day for our Alto Mare annual water chariot festival. Are you ready for the main event?!" The announcer said as the audience cheered loudly. "Competitors, once you all hear the Xatu, the race will begin!"
As the Natu chirped everyone prepared themselves and then Xatu opens his wings calling out to start the race causing everyone to race out as fast as they could.
Taking the lead in front of everyone was a guy named Ross with a round gray Pokémon named Wailmer.
Chasing behind him were Misty and Ash, but little did they know two outlines of Pokémon were watching the race as well. As they approached a narrow waterway there was a tight turn which caused Ash to overdo it and fall into the water.
But something suddenly cushioned his fall, before he falls in.
Looking around Ash tried to find what it was but didn't see anything. As he climbed back on and Riptide started swimming something picked him and they shot back onto the race track at an incredible speed.
"We are now viewing from the final stretch. Who will pull ahead and reach the main track first?" The announcer asks when the audience saw two competitors heading towards them. "And there they are! Of couse coming is last years champion Ross with his Wailmer and newcomer Misty and her Corsola. Both are neck and neck folks."
"Come on Misty!" Brock cheers when Ash came from around the corner.
"What's this? Ash and his Totodile are speeding right past them into first place!"
"Riptide, keep going!" Ash smiles, not understanding how his little starter gotten so fast all of a sudden.
That's really because of the thing which was carrying Riptide's line, which gave him the boost. But suddenly another invisible outline suddenly grabbed the one pulling Riptide and leads Ash across a corner.
"Uh oh. It seems that Ash and Totodile has tooken a wrong turn off course."
As they turn a corner the outlines disappear leaving Ash and Riptide in the middle of the water.
Back at the race, Misty and Ross were neck and neck as they reached the finish line and both crossed it.
"It appears both competitors crossed at the same time. Let's see an instant replay." The screen shows Corsola and Wailmer heading to the finish line, at the very end it was Corsola's horn spikes that crossed first. "It's decided! By a horn, the winners are Misty and Corsola!"
"Alright! We did it Corsola!" Misty smiles hugging her.
"That was a great race, as a reward how about I give you a ride on my boat." Ross offers.
"Your boat?" Misty said confused.
Half the audience were upset Ross loss, while the other half was glad Misty won, including her friends. Brock stopped cheering when he remembered something or someone. "Hey wait what happened to Ash?" He asks making the two kids realize he did disappear aftet that turn.
With Ash he along with Riptide were on one of the porches getting his raft out. "Toto.." Riptide loomed down sadly, saying sorry they lost.
"Don't worry about it Rip, everyone makes mistakes." Ash said petting his head. Which made Riptide happy and again and jumps into Ash's arms, making the boy laugh. "Hey, knock it off Riptide!" Ash laughs.
What the two didn't knew was the two outlines that costed Ash the race were watching them before they flew off and disappeared into the city's shadows.

After the race Ross had taken them all on a gondola ride through the town.
"So this is the kind of boat he meant." Tomo said.
"These aren't just any boats Tomo these are Altomare's famous gondola rides." Brock said.
Misty turns to Ross. "Thanks for for taking us on this tour."
"Hey don't worry about. I call it honor to have the winner of the water chariot race ride my boat."
"Hey Misty can I see your medal?" Molly asks.
"Sure Molly." Misty said showing Molly a medal with two shapes in it.
"Wow your so lucky." Molly said in awe of its beauty, but then her eyes loomed up to see something from afar. "Hey look."
Everyone looked to where she was pointing and saw two statues in the water which are facing each other. They looked like bird/dragon like Pokémon. "What are those?" Tomo asks Ross.
"Oh those? Those are Latias and Latios."
"Wait is that what these are?" Misty asks looking at the figures on the medal.
"So are these Pokémon famous here?" Brock asks.
"Many years ago Latios and Latias saved this entire town and to this day people believe they are still protecting us." Ross said.
Everyone was looking at the statues with wonders in their mind.
Meanwhile in another part of the city Annie and Oakly had sent small camera droids to spy on the people of the city to try and locate Latias and Latios.
"If Latias and Latios are "protecting" the town, how come we don't see them yet?" Annie said doing her makeup while Oakley was looking at the screen.
"Didn't you read the legend? Latios and Latias can disguise themselves as humans. We just need to find out which one." Oakley said when the machine beeped.
Oakley typed a couple of buttons and the screen zooms onto one particular human who had a blue body temperature instead of red.
"Well well. What do we have here?" Annie peered over.
"Both Pokémon have lower body temperatures than us, meaning we've found our target." Oakley smirked. "What do you say that we go pay a little visit to our new friend?"
Annie closes her mirror as the two of them speed off in thief motorboat.
Back with the gang, they were docking off of Ross's boat. "Over there is a restaurant that sells seafood and right around that corner there's an ice cream parlor, it's the best places here in Alto Mare." Ross said before departing. "Hope you guys enjoy your stay! Ciao!"
"Ciao!" They all waved goodbye to him.
"Alright ice cream, here I come!" Tomo said.
"Wait for me!" Molly said as they ran ahead except for Gaia who looked down a path to see a woman and her Vaporeon by a fountain.
She was pouring water onto the water type. "Come on Vaporeon." The woman turns off the fountain as she and her Vaporeon left.
"Phanpy?" Gaia looks to see only a drop of water fell causing him to frown. "Phan."
Suddenly the water turns on. Looking up Gaia saw a girl with brown hair smiling at him. "Phanpy Phan!"
He started helping himself with some water, that's when Ash ran up. "There you Gaia, you're not supposed to run off by yourself."
"Phanpy." Gaia said as the girl walked over and closely examined Ash.
"Uh can I help you with something?" Ash asks a little weirded out.
As she looks at Ash she then saw his eye and scar. A little startled she steps backwards before running off.
Ash and Gaia didn't know what to say, but to think of that moment just now was weird.
As the girl walked away from them she saw a few children run pass her along the river. So as she decided to take a stroll down the river, Annie and Oakley pulled up nearby.
"Since it's disguised as a girl this one must be Latias." Oakley said.
"I wouldn't want to walk out with a hairdo like that." Annie said putting on some wierd visors which saw that the girl was really a outline of one those statues from earlier. "I don't believe it. You were right all along sis."
As they pulled the boat over next to the girl she looks over to see Annie waving at her.
"That's a cute outfit, where did you get it...Latias?" She asks smirking, causing the girl to gulp in surprise and run off. "Go Espeon!" Annie throws a custom Pokéball
"Ariados!", so did Oakley
The psychic fox and large spider Pokémon were released and chased after the girl.
In the plaza, Ash and Gaia were still near the fountain when Gaia heard something.
"Phan." Gaia said before running towards it.
"Hey Gaia wait up!" Ash said chasing after him.
Back with the girl, she tried to escape by running over a bridge, however both Ariados and Espeon cornered her.
Espeon's eyes glowed as it used Psychic to stop her while Ariados shot a web tying her up.
"Why are you running from us? We don't want to hurt you." Annie said.
"Yeah we just wanted to talk." Oakley said.
"Hey!" They heard and saw a boy with his Phanpy run up to the scene. "What do you think you're doing?!" Both sisters jumped when they saw his scars an eye, but chose to just ignore it.
"Oh just nothing. We were just giving her some fashion advice." Annie said.
"Well something tells me she doesn't want to hear it." He said trying to get her free.
"Oh? Would you like to give us a tip instead?" Oakley asks.
"Yeah I got a tip! Scram and leave this girl alone!" Ash yelled at them.
"Oh my, talking to woman like that so rude." Oakley said.
"Espeon won't you please teach him some manners?" Annie asked as Espeon fired a Psybeam at Ash.
"Phanpy!" Gaia gasped and jumped in the way, taking the attack. "PHAN!" He cried in pain before falling to the floor.
"Gaia!" Ash gasps before turning towards them with a mean glare. "You two are gonna pay for that."
He went to his belt and pulled out a Pokéball and Level Ball. "Demon, Bastet!" He calls both of them out.
Demon rushed towards Epseon who jumps onto the boat to dodge.
"Demon, use Flamethrower!" Demon blasted Espeon with a powerful stream of flames, knocking her into Annie and into the water.
"Bastest, use Thunderbolt!" Bastet's fur fizzles up and releases electricity from it as she zaps Aridaos, stunning him.
Ash carried Gaia in his left hand and then grabbed the girls hand with his right. "Let's go!" He said as they made a run for it. His Pokémon followed.
"That little brat ruined my new clothes.." Annie said seething. "He's not getting away with this! Espeon after them now!"
"You too Ariados!"
Both of their Pokémon recovered from the attacks and the chase was on.
With Ash, he along with the girl were taking turn after turn. Hallway after hallway, trying to escape the trail of the Pokémon.
As they made their way further into town the girl took Ash's hand and led him in another direction.
"Hey where are we going?" Ash asks when he finds himself right back where he started with Misty, Brock, Molly and Tomo down below.
"Hey Ash, where ya been!" Tomo called out.
"We're heading to the museum after this!" Brock shouted out too.
"We're back where we started...hey why were those two after you?" Ash asks but got no response. Turning around he saw that the girl was gone.
"W-where'd she go?" He wondered. His Pokémon all looked around, but no scent.
Just who was that girl?
"Phan..Phan." Gaia pants still feeling the damage from Psybeam.
Ash's thoughts were cut off when he remembered his baby Pokémon still injured.
"Gaia!" Bending down Ash picked him up. "Are you okay?"
"Phan.." He said weakly.
"That was real crazy what you did back there. Taking that Psybeam for me?" He said making the Phanpy frown. Feeling like he was being scolded, but Ash gave a smile and hugged him.
"Thank you for that, just promise you won't do anything crazy again alright?" He asked.
Hearing praise from his father, Gaia grew a soft warm smile and nodded nuzzling him.
Once everyone had regroup, the team did some more sight seeing into town and found themselves in front of the Alto Mare Museum.
Looking down Molly saw she was walking on what looked like a Pokémon skeleton and stepped back.
"It's alright Molly, it's just a fossilized Pokémon." Brock reassured the child.
Ash got a better look at it. "Hmm..Looks like an Aerodactyl." Ash said remembering him of the one he had back home.
"You would be correct." An old man said walking over. "Inside this building, there are fossils of old ancient Pokémon from the oast " He said informing them.
"Hey there's another one over here too!" Tomo said as he pointed to another familiar skeleton. "I know this one, it's a Kabutops right?" Remembering the one he had too.
"Correct. Now come have a look at this." He said leading them into another room.
As Brock looks up the light from the stain glass shined down on him. "It's a sign I know it!" He said making a vow "Here in this beautiful city, I will meet the love of my life!" He declared causing Misty and Tomo to sweatdrop.
"Don't hold your breath Romeo.." They both together.
"Excuse me mister?" Molly asks and looks at an enourmous structure behind them. "What's that giant thing?"
"You see when this Temple and the Sun tower were built in tribute of Latios and Latias this machine was built around the same time but we don't really know what it does except that it was to bring peace." He said.
As he went on Ash looks up the stairs and notices the brown haired girl he met earlier drawing something.
'I-It's her!' He thought. Maybe this time he could get some answers.
"Ash is something wrong?" Tomo asks as the girl picked up her things and left.
"Tomo, take Gaia to the Pokémon Center. I'll be right back." Ash said handing him Gaia.
"Where are you going?" Misty asks, but Ash didn't answer her and he runs out of the building.
"What's with him?" Brock wondered, but everyone just looked clueless as him.
Racing through the city, Ash tries to catch up with the girl he when he spots her on the other side of the bridge.
"Hey! Why did you run off back there!" Ash calls out.
"I don't know you." The girl simply said walking away, confusing Ash, but he still had to follow.
"H-hey wait!" Ash began to run after her again through an alleyway and taking many many turns, but this time he seemed to took a wrong turn and found himself lost.
"Dammit, how do you find anything in this city?" Ash groans making his way down an alley. He finds himself near another bridge.
"It's like this whole place is a huge maze." He said looking around when he suddenly sees the girl again, who was smiling at him. But this time she wasn't wearing a hat.
"Alright are you just messing with me or something?" Ash asks when the girl runs off again.
With a groan feeling tired of this eild goose chase, he once again goes after the girl.
Eventaully she lead him to what appeared to be a dead end until the girl walked through the wall surprising him, before he slowly followed her through ending up in some kind of secret garden.

Ash looks all over and sees there were wild Pokémon all around, relaxing and enjoying the nature around them. "What is this palce?" He then sees the girl again ahead of him before she disappears. He headed down her path.
This time he spotted her from afar, swinging on a swingset.
Walking over to her multiple wind chimes suddenly started spinning rapidly. Turning towards a small waterfall something shot towards Ash.
Thinking quickly, Ash activated his Psychic powers and held out his hands stopping the outline and pushing it backwards.
Whatever the outline was, it tried pushing back in order to attack Ash.
Letting out a grunt, Ash uses his pull power and knocks the outline backwards into the air. Spinning to recover the outline charged at Ash one more time, but this time the girl got in between Ash and the outline stopping it.
Suddenly the outline flashes to reveal a Pokémon with a blue bird-like body stylized after a plane. Ash's eyes widened as he recalled seeing those statues back at Alto Mare.
"Y-You're Latios!" He gasped.
Latios shouted angrily at the girl for her to move, but she refused to do so.
"Hey! What are you doing here?!" Ash looks over to see the girl from the museum walking over. The one with the hat on
"There's two?" Ash said surprised looking at both identical girls. 'What the hell is going on here?!' He thought.
"Well? Who are you and why are you here?" The girl questions him. "Are you a thief?!"
"N-No of course not! Please hear me out. My name's Ash Ketchum and I'm a Pokémon Trainer and how I got here is..well because that girl led me here." He pointed to the identical girl.
"I don't believe you, Latios!" She said as Latios was about to attack again.
Ash readied himself for round two and was about to call ready his powers again was about throw out a Pokémon for help when a voice shouted, "That's enough!"
Looking over, every one saw the tour guide from the Alto Mare Museum walking over.
"Bianca. Latios that's enough. This boy is telling the truth." He said.
"Hey you're the tour guide." Ash recognized him. What was he doing here?
"But Grandpa he's an outsider, they're no-." The girl named Bianca said to argue back, but her grandfather shushed her and turns to the other girl and Ash.
"Latias did you bring him here because you wanted to play?" He asks looking at the other girl who nodded, but Ash was confused.
"Latias?" He asked, but the girl took Ash by the hand and brings Ash to the swing set. She pushes him in the seat and swinged with him.
As they swung, Ash turned to her and said. "Hey no offense, but I thought Latias was a name of a Pokémon."
Suddenly the girl turned into a Pokémon with the rear half of its body largely red and the upper half white, A blue triangle marks the center of its chest, while a red mask partially covers its face. She looked like a red version of Latios.
Ash jumped at the sight to the point he fell off the swings until Latias helped him up.
"She certainly likes him." The old man laughs.
Latios flew up to Ash, who Ash looked nervous until he rubs his head on Ash's apologizing for attacking him. The boy smiles rubbed its head. "It's OK." He said.
Latios and Latias them flies up into the air around the forest.
As the two Pokémon flew through the air Ash walked with Bianca and her grandfather.
"My name's Bianca, I'm sorry about earlier. I just wanted to make sure you weren't trying to harm them." She said.
"It's cool, but what is this place?" Ash asks.
"This is a hidden garden that has been protected by our family for many many generations." Bianca's grandfather, Lorenzo explains. "It's where Latios and Latias live whenever they come to visit our island."
"So are they both siblings?" Ash asks looking at the Eon Pokémon fly around them.
"Yup. Latios is the older brother while Latias is the younger sister." Bianca said.
"I see..though I still have another question." Ash said.
"Let me guess, it has something to do with Latias looking just like Bianca?" Lorenzo laughs abit.
"Well..yeah actually." Ash admitted.
"That's one of her powers." Bianca said. "Latias can take the shape of a human, and since the two of us are best friends, she loves to turn into me alot." She giggles.
"Well that explains why I kept getting you two mixed up." Ash said when Latias flew up to him and tried grabbing his headband, but Ash stops her. "Ah ah ah, nice try." He smirks.
Latias flies around Ash trying to grab it, but Ash laughs ducking under every attempt.
Running to the fountain Latios'$ eyes glow bright signalling for Latias to have her eyes glow as well.
Latios lets out a cry before diving ino the water.
Flying down towards to the humans, Latias's eyes were still glowing and Ash, Bianca and Lorenzo found themselves moving quickly through the water. It was like the entire place has just been replaced.
"Whoa what's this?" Ash asks.
"Latias is showing us everything Latios is seeing." Bianca said.
"It's called Sight Sharing." Lorenzo said.
Ash was blowned away by this sudden moment, seeing everything from another's point of view.
"It's also Latios and Latias saying that they like you." Bianca said causing Ash to smile.
"I'm honored." Ash said looking to Latias, who nods to him.
Soon they were back in the garden and Bianca was telling Ash the story of Latios and Latias.
"And with that power they've managed to overthrow the darkness that reigned over Alto Mare, destroying it for good. That was the power of the Soul Dew." She said. "And from that day onwards no evil has ever come to this island."
"So Latias and Latios's ancestors protected this island? That's amazing.."Ash said liking this newfound knowledge. Looking at the stone tablets, that's when he notices one diagram.
"Hey this looks like the machine in the museum." Ash said.
"It's called Defense Mechanism of Alto Mare or DMA for short. That diagram show's how the Soul Dew is used to power it up." Lorenzo says.
Leading Ash to a small fountain he looks inside to see the Soul Dew at the bottom of it.
"This is the Soul Dew. Our ancestors built it to protect our home along with Latios and Latias. Promise me you won't tell anyone about this." Lorenzo said.
Ash nodded. "I'd never break my promises you. You have my word."
As Ash was about to walk away he noticed some small stones next to the Soul Dew. Thry both had DNA symbols, 2 were big while the other was small.
'What are those?' Ash thought when Latias flew up to him and grabbed Ash.
"Hey what are you doing Latias?!" He shouted as she brings up in the air above the pond before dropping Ash. Ash shouted falling down, but Latios dove in and caught him before he fell in the water. "You two just love playing alot huh?" He said laughing. When they landed near the ground, Latias rubbed her head against Ash's face making him laugh.
"Looks like wants to keep playing with you." Bianca said.
"I'm sorry Latias. Wish I could stay, but I gotta get back to my friends." He said which made Latias sad and puts her head down. "Hey I'll be back tomorrow, I promise." He smiles petting Latias on the head. Making the Eon Pokémon's frown turn into a soft smile.
It was time to leave.
"Ciao!" Ash waved to the Pokémon as he, Lorenzo and Bianca left the garden leaving Latios and Latias by themselves, but little did they know a small camera droid was spying on them.

Once they were out of the garden, Lorenzo leads Ash to a shack which was far off from the city. "Where are we are now?" Ash asks.
"This here is my workshop." Lorenzo says.
"My grandfather is a gondola repairman." Bianca tells him.
"So you have this and being a tourist?" Ash asks the old man.
"Whenever I have time on my hands that is." Lorenzo said leading to the outside. "Bianca would mind escorting Ash to the Pokémon Center back in town?"
"Not at all." Bianca said agreeing.

Taking him to a motorboat, Bianca steered him down the waterway.
As they moved through the water Bianca looks at Ash's scars. It really surprised her that she didn't noticed them before.
It looked so painful, but it really brought out how strong a person Ash was.
After all, that's one of her traits of a painter: the ability to see a character and their personality.
"Hey Bianca, was that you that was attacked earlier today?" Ash asks.
"Huh?" Bianca asks snapping out of her thoughts. "Who was attacked?"
"Oh, nevermind. I guess it was Latias back there." Ash said.
"Latias was attacked?" Bianca gasped.
Ash nodded. "There were these two women who were after her when I first spotted them."
"What happened to them?" Bianca asks.
"I don't know after I distracted them Latias and I made a run for it, but I think we lost them." Ash said.
Bianca looks down with worried written on her face. "Latias..why? Why was someone going after her?" She says to herself.
Dropping Ash back off at the Pokémon Center, he was immediately greeted by a healthy and happy Gaia.
"Phan!" He almost knocked Ash into the ground.
"Gaia, good to see you're alright." Ash smiled hugging him.
"There he is." Brock said, making everyone walk over.
"We were beginning to think you got lost." Misty said.
"For awhile I was." Ash admits.
"Where'd you go?" Tomo asked.
"And why did you leave in such a rush?" Molly asks.
"Well the truth is I thought I saw someone." Ash said.
"Was it a pretty girl?" Brock asks.
Ash sweatdrops, but ignored it. "Like I said, I thought I saw SOMEONE. So I had to go and see if I was right or not."
"For the entire day?" Misty said suspiciously.
"I had to run around this entire city, do you know how hard it is to find anything in this place?" Ash asks.
"He is kinda right. Alto Mare is as huge as a giant maze." Brock said.
"Alright fine but next time you run off you either tell us where you're going or you take us with you." Misty said.
'I can't really tell you exactly where I was Mist.' Ash thought. He simply nodded.

At Lorenzo's shop he was hard at work on the gondola when an Espeon walked in.
Lorenzo notices it. "Well what do we have here? What's a little fella like you doing here?"
Using Psychic Espeon's eyes glow red as Lorenzo falls to the ground in pain. And was knocked out.
"Bravo Espeon." A familiar voice says from behind. It revealed that the Espeon belonged to Annie and Oakley.
In the garden both Latias and Latios slept soundly until the sound of wind chimes woke them up.
"This looks like a pretty nice garden they have here." Oakley said as they were in front of the secret garden's entrance.
"I should put my summer home here." Annie said when Latios roars, flying towards them.
"I don't think the current resident would seem to like your idea." Oakley said as they cartwheeled, making Latios miss his attack.
"Well then I'll just have to make his my pet." Annie said as both Pokémon turned invisible. "Oh so they can do more than just shapeshift."
Flying in towards Annie she cartwheels backwards to Oakley and the two of them take out special glasses and when they do they were able to see the Heat signature of Latios and Latias.
"Found him. Espeon use Swift!" Espeon fired multiple stars out of its mouth, which hits Latios's outline as they heard his shout of pain.
"Nice job Espeon." Annie said when Latias rams into Espeon stopping the attack. "It's Latias!"
"Ariados use Night Shade!" Ariados fires a blast at Latias but Latios flies in taking the attack. "We won't let you get in our way!" Oakley throws a device which turns into a net and zaps Latios.
He shouts in pain as the electricity goes through him, and Latios falls to the ground. Seeing her brother in pain and in trouble, Latias quickly flies in to help
"Espeon, use Psybeam!" Annie said. Espeon blasts Latias undoing her invibility and making her fall to the ground in pain.
"Now Espeon Tackle!"
Acting quickly to protect his younger sister Latios slides in and stops the attack.
Latios roared at Latias to run. But she didn't want to leave him. Annie and Oakley took action.
"Espeon, use Psychic!"
"Ariados, use String Shot!"
Latios screams in pain as both attacks hit him. Latias tries to go help but Latios tells her to run again. This time she listens.
"Where do you think you're going?" Annie throws a net at Latias but Latios jumps in front of it and is zapped again as Latias dives underwater escaping.
"Looks like she got away." Annie said looking at the water.
"It doesn't matter now." Oakley said looking at the trapped Latios. "One's enough for us. Also.." She quickly goes the fountain and began to pull out the Soul Dew.
When she did Annie was the first to look at it. "This is by far the prettiest jewel I've ever seen."
"Jackpot." Oakley said.
"What do you mean? We have the jewel already." Annie asks as Oakley was looking at her laptop.
"I'm not talking about the jewel, I'm talking about the legend." Oakley explains. "There's more to it, that old geezer said that his ancestors used the power of the Soul Dew to protect this entire island also these diagrams on the ground shows how the Defense Mechanism is used to control the power of the Soul Dew, and how to use it." She finished taking the gem out of her sisters hands.
"H-hey!" Annie snaps.
"Oh pipe down, we got work to do." Oakley said not wanting to hear it.
Now when they removed the Soul Dew all of the water in the Secret Garden stopped pouring from fountains.

As Latias left to find Ash Lorenzo and Bianca arrive at the secret garden to see the Soul Dew was gone.
"You were right, it is gone!" Bianca couldn't believe it.
"Just what is the meaning of this all?" Lorenzo questions incredulously.
"This has to be from the women Ash warned me about earlier." Bianca realized.
At the temple Annie and Oakey brought Latios on a circular platform causing it to glow and activate the machine.
"This machine has protected the town from any outside invasion." Oakley said when Lorenzo and Bianca ran in.
"Stop! What have you done?!" Lorenzo snaps.
"Looks like someone's a light sleeper." Oakley said.
"No problem. Espeon, Psychic please." Annie snapped her fingers as Espeon's eyes glowed attacking both Bianca and her grandfather, knocking them both out.
"Now let's test this thing out." Oakley said putting the Soul Dew in the machine activating it.
At the Pokémon Center, Latias flew from room to room until she found the room Ash was in. As everyone slept Gaia was suddenly awoken by a flash of light. "Phan?" Gaia looks to see Latias in her Bianca disguise. "Phanpy!"
The sound of his voice stirred Ash from his slumber. "What is it Gaia?" Ash groans as the first thing he saw was Latias in disguise. "Bianca?" He said out loud, causing the others to wake up. "What are you doing here?" He asks when suddenly "Bianca" hugs him tightly surprising him. Ash looked at the frightness and distraught written on her face. Meaning something was wrong.
"What's going on?" Molly asks rubbing her eyes as everyone woke up.
"Hey who's she?" Misty asks looking at the newcomer.
"Uh you guys might want to sit down for this." Ash said realizing they needed to know the truth. "Everyone meet Latias."
"Latias?" Everyone said confused.
"Um Ash? Latias is a legendary Pokémon." Brock said.
Ash nodded. "I know." He looks to Latias. "Latias, these are my friends and siblings. You can trust them."
She looks at them and then back to Ash who nods allowing her to transform back into her real form surprising them.
Everyone recalled exactly how she looked on that statute. She was indeed Latias.
"A Pokémon that can turn into humans, that's a new one." Tomo said.
"So I'm guessing this was part of the reason you ran off earlier?" Misty realized.
Ash rubs his neck. "Pretty much."
"So I was right!" Brock said. "You WERE running after a girl!"
"In a way." Ash sweatdrops.
Back at the temple Ariados spun a web tying up Bianca and Lorenzo.
"Latios wake up! You need to show Latias what's happening!" Bianca cried out to him.
Latios began to stir from his consciousness and finally opened his eyes to see his trapped prison.
Activating Sight Sharing, Latias' eyes glow back at the Pokémon Center surprising everyone.
"What the? How did we get to the temple?" Brock asks.
"It's Sight Sharing." Ash answers.
"Sight Sharing?" Molly asks.
"We're seeing everything that Latios sees from Latias." He explains and sees the trapped grandfather and granddaughter. "Lorenzo! Bianca!" Ash then turned his gaze to the machine and looked down to see Annie and Oakley. "Them again!" He growled.
"You know them?" Tomo asks.
"They were after Latias." Ash said shocking them when Ash then sees the familiar blue gem. "They've got the Soul Dew!" He gasps.
"Let's see what this thing can do." Oakley said climbing into the machine.
"Stop! What are you doing?!" Lorenzo asks.
"Aerodactyl, Kabutops! Rise!" Oakley said as the two fossils came back to life. "Go find Latias and bring it to us!" She orders as the two Pokémon left.
The projection with Latios and Latias suddenly ended and Latias falls down with exhaustion.
"What just happened?" Molly asks.
"Nothing good that's for sure." Ash said when he heard a noise from outside.
Heading to the balcony, He sees gates suddenly appear from the ground and was blocking off exits.
"Definitely not good!" Ash said jumping into the waterway with Latias just as the exit to the Pokémon Center was blocked.
"Ash?!" Misty gasped seeing him resurface.
"I'm going to the museum to save everyone! They're doing something horrible to Latios!" Ash yells out as he swam.
Swimming over to a gondola, Ash climbs on and grabs the oar.
"Latias lead the way." Ash said as they headed to the temple.
Back at the museum, Latios looked as he was going through alot if pain. While Oakley on the other hand was laughing manically while Bianca and Lorenzo looked in horror.
With Ash...
Latias was leading him the way to the museum.
"Geez Ross made steering these things look easy." Ash said as he paddled down the waterway when suddenly he heard a roar. Turning around he saw Aerodactyl fly in and grab Latias.
"Latias! Let her go!" Ash jumps from the boat and onto Aerodactyl's back.
Eyes glowing with psychic energy, Ash concentrates it into his fist and punches Aerodactyl, causing it to roar in pain and drop Latias.
Ash resurfaced for air. "Latias?!" He looks over and saw Latias resurfaced and disappeared while flying. "Latias!"
Aerodactyl then charged up a Hyper Beam and fired at the river.
Taking a deep breath, Ash quickly dove underwater as the Hyper Beam destroyed the gondola.
Latias suddenly stopped and flew back for Ash, worried about him.
A few seconds later Ash swims up to the surface and gasps for air causing her to smile seeing that he was safe.
"Thanks Latias but I'm okay." Ash said when he notices something nearby. Swimming over he finds some pods from the water race earlier that day. "Hey Latias how fast can you fly?" Ash grins getting an idea.
Racing through the water way Latias makes a series of tight turns before going down a narrow passage causing Aerdocactyl to crash.
"Good job Latias!" Ash prasied the younger sister. Latias cheered out and were back on the trail.
Back with the others, they were out of the Pokémon Center, but found themselves trapped by the gated area. Brock tried opening the bars apart. "It's no use, they won't budge."
"What are we gonna do?" Misty holds up Ash's Pokéball belt. "Ash left all of his Pokémon behind."
"Then we'll lend him ours." Brock said pulling out his. "Crobat! Skarmory!"
"Corsola, Politoed!" Misty said throwing hers.
Reaching for Ash's belt, Molly and Tomo let out Mewtwo and Maelstrom.
'What's going on?' Maelstrom asks.
'Where is Ash?' Mewtwo asks looking around.
"Long story short, Ash is in trouble and he needs your help." Brock said.
"Go after him, we'll try and catch up." Misty said.
All of the Pokémon nodded and they took off in the air, or into the water.
"No way I'm staying here while Ash is in trouble." Tomo said climbing up the bars with the others right behind him.
Ash and Latias made a right turn down a path, but then Ash saw something jump right at them...with two sharp claws ready to slice.
It's Kabutops!
"Whoa!" Ash said ducking under one of it's claws when Latias turns a corner and ends up launching the pod into the air. Ash screams in fear as he plummeted towards the ground when at the last second Maelstrom caught him.
'I got you!' He said.
"Maelstrom!" Ash gasped.
Kabutops leaped from boat to boat and was about to attack when Mewtwo trapped him with Psychic and stopped him in midair allowing Crobat and Skarmory to use Wing Attack and Steel Wing knocking it into the wall.
Politoed and Corsola appeared from the water and fired Bubblebeam and Hydro Pump at Kabutops, forcing him across the wall and falls into the water.
"You guys are the best." Ash smiles as Mewtwo flies next to him.
'We better hurry before they catch up with us.' Mewtwo said.
"Right." Ash nods as Maelstrom flies him towards the temple.
Back in the museum...
Latios was still going through pain as the DMA seemed to be draining his energy for the machine. Oakley, still in the control room pulls up an image to see Latias along with Mewtwo, Maelstrom along with Ash.
"That boy again...hmm he's got some interesting Pokémon with him." Oakley said intrigued.
"If an evil person should use the Soul Dew it will become irreversibly broken! Stop it, I say!" Lorenzo yells.
"Your threats mean nothing old man, with something like this I can rule the entire world!" Oakley said.
Annie just stared at her sister. "Oakley..what's gotten into you?"
Now let's see what powers this thing really has." Oakley said working the controls.

Outside, Ash was racing towards the temple when they looked to see a giant wall of water shoot out of the sea shocking them.
And it was heading right towards them.
"Faster! FASTER! FASTER!" Ash panics.
'I'm going as fast as I can!' Maelstrom panics flying away trying to avoid the water.
"Mewtwo do something!" Ash cried out.
Thinking quickly, Mewtwo flew in and used Psychic stopping the wall from advancing.
"Smart move, but I'm smarter!" Oakley said motioning more controls.
Shooting the water high into the air Mewtwo's eyes widen as it torrent of water slams into Ash, Maelstrom and Latias.
'Ash!' He exclaimed and dives into the water.
As Mewtwo swims towards him Malestrom supports Ash on his back. The two Pokémon try to get Ash out, but the current was too strong.
The water was being raised swirled in any direction.
Ash and Latias were struggling to hold their breath when suddenly Latias's eyes started to glow as she created a sphere of light which canceled out the water.
And causing Oakley's control board to shatter. "What the?!"
Dropping to the ground Ash lets out a cough as he breathed again only to see Latias collapse next to him.
"Latias!" Ash gasps running over to check on her. "Are you okay?" Ash asks as Latias picks herself up. "Come on." Ash said as they ran into the Temple.
Inside, the control panel Oakley was broken. "What did that Pokémon do?!" She exclaimed before she cried out as the panel shuts on her.
Running inside Annie turns to see Ash enter.
"Espeon use-"
"Maelstrom Aeroblast!" Ash said quickly as Maelstrom blasts the two of them before they could react, knocking them away.
"Are you two alright?!" Ash went over to Bianca and Lorenzo.
"Ash!" Bianca smiles happy to see him as he pulled her free from the webs.
Latias tried to reach her brother, but the forcefield around Latios stopped her.
Inside the machine. Oakley was holding on for dear life trying not to get thrown out while Ash gets Lorenzo free.
"We have to stop the machine and fast!" Lorenzo said.
The DMA was going on the fritz. Spinning rapidly and out of control. Annie was getting scared for her sister. "O-Oakley!"
"Help me Annie!" Oakley screams as it opens briefly.
In the container, Latios was screaming in pain.
"If we don't Latios out soon, he'll die!" Bianca said.
Ash clenches his fists. "No way I'm letting that happen!" He declared. "Maelstrom, Aeroblast! Mewtwo, Aura Sphere!"
Both Pokémon fire their attacks but the barrier deflects them. And sends them right back at them.
As the three Pokémon fire their attacks trying to break Latios free, Ash joined in on trying to ram himself inside of it by punching with a psychic fist.
Seeing nothing was working, Latias closes her eyes and her eyes glowed again as she tackles the barrier creating a small opening for them.
"Quick!" Ash said as he, Bianca and Lorenzo pulled Latios out causing the machine to stop.
"T-they stopped it.." Annie said surprised.
Laying Latios gently on the ground Latias nudged him until he woke up causing everyone including Annie to smile.
She then looks up to the DMA and climbs up to see her sister has slumled out, unconscious.
"Oakley it's time to wake up." Annie said as Oakley let out a groan.
"What happened?"
"You got a little out the control." Annie said as Brock, Misty, Tomo and Molly ran in.
"Ash!"
"You guys made it." Ash smiles.
"You stay here Oakley, I'll get the Soul Dew." Annie said as she walked over to it only to find the Soul Dew had turned black. "Ew, it's all gross, what did you do to it?" She asks leaning down to grab it.
"Don't touch it!" Lorenzo yells.
But it was too late, once Annie touched the soiled Soul Dew it glowed eneourmously. The impact pushes Annie in the panel where Oakley was.
As the Soul Dew shattered lightning shot out of the machine it closed on Annie and Oakley, trapping them inside as the machine whirled around.
"The Soul Dew." Bianca said in horror.
"When an evil one makes use of the Soul Dew it will be soiled and vanish along with this very city." Lorenzo said shocking them.
Outside of Alto Mare, the water was beginning to lower from the city.
Running outside all of them look in horror to see the ocean surrounding the city had turned into a barren wasteland.
"The ocean...it's gone."
Both of the Eon Duo both felt a disturbance and flew up.
Looking off into the distance they saw an enourmous tidal wave from all of the water collected from the city was heading right towards them.
"If that hits..we're all done for." Lorenzo said in fear.
"What do we do? Latios and Latias are too worn out to stop that wave." Ash asks.
"I was afraid of this...But it looks like we're going to have to use these." Lorenzo said reaching into his pocket and taking out the 4 stones Ash saw next to the Soul Dew in the fountain.
"Hey those stones again." Ash said surprised. "But how can they help us ou-" he was suddenly cut off by Bianca's gasp.
"G-Grandpa, you're not suggesting THAT are you?" Bianca asks.
"We have no choice Bianca this is the only way to save our city." Lorenzo said handing one to her and the other to Ash.
"Why are you giving one to me?" Ash asks
"In the region of Kalos there exists a method to evolve your Pokémon and give them amazing powers but it requires a strong bond between you and the Pokémon. Since Latias is so close to you you'll be able to bring out her full power." Lorenzo explains.
Ash looks to Latias, who was telling him he was right and to do it.
Seeing this was do or die (and if he doesn't do they're all gonna die) Ash agrees to do it.
Tossing the two small stones, Latias and Latios each caught them in their mouths. "Get ready we don't have much time. Use the Keystones to activate the Mega Stones." Lorenzo said.
Ash keeps the big stone close to him as Latias flies under him, putting him on her back. Bianca then hops into Latios's back.
"You ready Ash?" Bianca asks.
"Let's do this." Ash said as both Pokémon flew like jets towards the giant tidal wave.
As they heading towards the wave, Ash and Bianca got the Keystone's ready. Bianca remembered what her grandfather instructed her to do.
'Touch the stone and say the name of the Pokémon and Mega Evolve.' The thought rung in her head. Bianca holds her stone and closes her eyes.
"Latios and Latias. Protectors of Altomare...We grant you the power to break through your limitations and save our city once again!" She held her Keystone in their air and shouted, "Latios, Mega Evolve!"
In Bianca's hand, the Keystone and the Mega stone in Latios's mouth glowed as a bright light engulfed them, making Ash and Latias look in shock.
Latios' body glowed and morphed until they saw a DNA symbol exploding out and the light faded to reveal Latios's new form.
The blue parts of its body change to purple. Horns grow from the side of its head and run along its jaw. It loses the wings on its back and similar but larger wings attach to its lower arms, normally held in a level position. Triangle shapes now mark the forward point of its wings instead if its chest.
He shouted out in his new evolved form.
"W-woah.." Ash was blown away, never seeing something like that before.
"Ash, hurry!" Bianca shouted, snapping him out of it.
Ash takes his other Mega Stone out and looks to Latias. "You ready?"
Latias nodded, telling him to go for it.
"A Fight until the very end. And no matter what happens never give up, in order to protect the ones you all love.." He held his Keystone high. "Latias, Mega Evolve!"
Just like with Latios and Bianca, the same events happened with Latias as her body morphed from a huge light.
When the DNA light faded, Latias was now Mega Latias. She looked exactly like Latios' Mega Evolved form.
"What is that?" Brock asks amazed.
"In the region of Kalos there exists a method to evolve your Pokemon and give them amazing powers but it requires a strong bond between you and the Pokemon you want to evolve." Lorenzo explains.
The other were in total shock that Pokémon can evolve even further as they watched the "Eon Duo" fly towards the tsunami wave with jet like speed.
"Latias!/ Latios! Attack!" Ash and Bianca yelled as the two Pokémon created a bright ball of light which crashes into the tidal wave returning the ocean to normal.
There was only silence as the ocean was coming back. Everyone was still looking out afar, still seeing the ball of light still in the sky.
Inside the light sphere Ash, Bianca and Latias( who was back into her original form) opened their eyes. "D-did we did it?"
Looking to Latios the three of them gasp to see his body was turning transparent.
"L-Latios? What's happening to him?!" Ash excliawmed.
"He must've used up all of his energy. He was already weakened greatly when he was captured!" Bianca said.
Ash and Latias' eyes widened in horror. "S-so you mean?"
Yes..Latios...is dying.
Both Ash and Latias look in horror as Latios started to face away.
"No! No you can't die! You gave everything to protect everyone! It's not fair!" Ash said on the verge of tears.
Latias cried out to her brother, begging him to not do this to them.
Latios nods telling her not to cry it was too late to do anything about it now, but instead Latais screams as her eyes glowed and the energy emitted from her and went towards Latios.
Ash and Bianca looked up, shocked at what Latias was doing. Even Laitos was looking at the energy.
"Latias...?" Bianca said shocked and confused at what she just did.
"She's giving up some of her life energy to save Latios." Ash said equally shocked.
Latias kept focusing her energy to bring Latios back into his original form. But had abit of trouble focusing, and it wasn't enough. Ash sees her struggling and his face became serious.
He runs next to Latias with his eyes glowing and holds his hands out, activating his psychic powers. And he combines Latias's energy with his. This surprised Bianca at what he was doing.
'Ash..how are you..?' She thought never seeing a human doing anything like that before. But she hoped it worked.
Finally both Ash and Latios put the last bit of their energy into Latios. His body glowed brightly and his body was back to a solid form causing the three of them to smile happily.
Latios looked to Ash, Bianca and Latias with a huge smile, telling them thank you
There was then a huge explosion of light which casted through the air.
Back in Altomare, the cities defense grid were now being deactivated as the water has finally returned. Aerodactyl and Kabutops have both returned to their original fossil forms back at the museum.
Speaking of the museum inside the Defense Mechanism...
"You know all of this is your fault. If you didn't became so overcome with power, we could've succeeded."
"My fault? I'm sorry but you just stood there and did nothing while I do all the work just like always."
"Whaddaya do you mean "always"?"
The voices sounded like Annie and Oakley, who were arguing.
"Remember the time you evolved my Gloom into a Vileplume without me knowing?!" Oakley exclaimed angrily. "I wanted a Bellossom!"
"Oh please everyone knows Vileplume's are way better!" Annie shouted.
"They are so not!" Oakley argued until the hatch soon closed onto them.
"Oh great. Now look what you did loudmouth!" Annie said.
"I'M the loudmouth?! Says the girl who worries over everything over her beauty!" Oakley said.
The two argued throughout the night, as their Espeon and Ariados could only listen.
That very next morning...
The sun was rising around Altomare.
"Ash! Bianca!" Misty cried out.
"Latias! Latios!" Molly called out for them.
The others were inside of a gondola, as they swam in the open water to look for Ash and Bianca.
Suddenly Mine Jr. saw something from afar. "Mimemime!" He pointed.
Everyone looked ahead to see some figures in the water. Looking closely it were Chinchou and some Mantine with something on their backs. It were unconscious forms of Ash, Bianca, Latias and Latios.
"Ash!" Tomo, Molly, Misty and Brock gasp.
"Biacna!" Lorenzo gasps as they brought the four of them onto the gondola.
"Ash, Ash, wake up!" Tomo tried shaking the older boy, until finally Ash opened his eye to see his brother.
"T-Tomo?" He croaked out.
A big smile formed on his face as he pulled Ash into a big hug. "You're okay!"
"Ack! Hey take it easy Tomo!" Ash exclaimed in abit of pain.
"Sorry." Tomo said letting go.
Bianca opened her eyes too. "G-grandpa?.." That's when she sprung up with a gasp. "Latias?! Latios?!"
"Bianca, calm yourself." Lorenzo held her shoulder. He pointed over to the Eon Duo, who were still out of it.
"Oh thank goodness." Bianca sighs in relief.
Ash looks down at the water in the ocean and sighs with relief. "We did it..thank god. Are Latias and Latios gonna be OK?"
"They'll be fine, like you they just need some rest." Lorenzo said examining them.
Ash nodded and he sat down. "Phanpy!" Gaia quickly hurried into his lap.
Ash chuckles. "Hey little guy, I missed you too." He said hugging him.
Bianca looks over at Ash's smiling face as he hugged Gaia causing her to smile and a warm feeling to fill her body.
Back at the museum, Bianca picked up the remains of the Soul Dew looking down in shame. "There goes our town's greatest treasure."
"The Soul Dew was tainted by a person's black heart." Lorenzo frowns. "It's gone.."
"I'm sorry guys maybe we can put it back together." Misty said.
"We appreciate your offer, but..just look at this." Bianca said holding the fragments. "It'll probably take weeks or months to repair the gem."
Ash looks at the fragments and saw a faint glow from the pieces.
"Hm...hey Bianca, can I look at those fragments a little closer?" He asks, making Bianca raise an eyebrow.
"Uh OK?"
Bianca hands Ash the fragments. As he filled them together Ash closed his eyes before using his powers to make a light form from inside his hands and when he opened them everyone saw the Soul Dew was put back together.
"W-wha?" Bianca gapped seeing the gem as it originally was.
"Ash how did you?" Lorenzo asks equally shocked.
"Can we just keep this our little secret?" Ash said with a smile.
Bianca blushes softly as Ash places the Soul Dew back in her hands.
"That should take care of your problem." He said.
"Excellent, now we just have one more problem to deal with." Lorenzo said looking up towards the machine.
"Um..add another problem." Brock pointed and everyone saw Ariados and Espeon.
"Well if they've been here this whole time, why haven't they tried to free their trainers or attack us?" Molly asks.
Gaia sees the Pokemon's eyes and he hopped out of Ash's arms, surprising him as he walked over to them.
"Gaia?" Ash said surrprised.
(Pokémon Translator Activate!)
"Hey are you gonna help them?" Gaia asks pointing his trunk up there.
"Why would we help them?" Ariados asks confusing him.
"But they're your trainers." Gaia said confused.
Espeon frowns. "Not anymore."
"Huh? Why?" Gaia asks.
"You're too young to understand kid." Ariados said patting his claw on Gaia's head. "This world has good and bad people."
"You'd be surprised. My daddy and friends deal with bad people all the time." Gaia said surprising them.
"You don't say?" Espeon asked.
"If you guys have being with those two so much why don't you come with us?" Gaia offers.
Espeon and Ariados turned to the other. "What do you think?" Ariados asks.
"Well... maybe it could be nice having a real iner." Espeon said.
"Yeah, someone who aren't dead set on world domination." Ariados said.
Gaia turns to Ash and walks over with Ariados and Espeon right behind him.

"So Gaia what's up?" Ash asks as Gaia gestured that the two Pokemon wanted to go with them.
"Seriously? They want to come with us?" Misty understood.
"Is that true?" Molly asks looking at Espeon.
Espeon nodded and she then rubbed herself on Molly's legs. "Espe."
Meanwhile, Tomo was petting Ariados who had a smile on his face.
"Ok I think they changed their ways." He smiles.
Misty however turned pale at the sight of Ariados. "Great... another bug."
Yeah..dosen't look like she'll be over that anytime soon.
..
2 days later...
With Annie and Oakley arrested and in jail, Tomo and Molly captured some new Pokémon, Ash decided to go see how Latias and Latios are doing, and this time his friends came along too. So he leads them all to the location of the secret garden.
Walking to the fountain they saw Lorenzo sweeping up dirt when Latias and Latios spotted them.
The two cried out happily and flew right around them.
"Hey it's great to see you guys too." Ash smiles when Lorenzo walks over.
"Hi Ash, what brings you here?" He asks.
"Just came to see how these guys are doing." Ash said, while Latios and Latias were nuzzling their heads onto him, making Ash laugh. "And I guess they are."
"Where's Bianca?" Misty asks looking around.
"She's away at the moment, but Ash there's something I want to give you to show my thanks for saving for city." Lorenzo said.
"Oh that's not necessary." Ash said brushing it off.
"I insist. You're gonna love it." Lorenzo said.
The group urged him to do it. "Alright, Alright." Ash gave in. "So what is it?"
Lorenzo moves his head to the left gesturing Ash to look and when he did he saw Latias causing his eyes to widen.
"Wait...y-you're not serious right?" He asked.
"This was Latias' choice, you inspired her to want to go out and see the world. She's been here for long enough, please Ash will you take her with you?" Lorenzo asks.
Ash couldn't be in any more shock, than this. He looks to Latios. "But what about Latios? And the prophecy?"
"You see Ash another Latias or Latios always arrives to take the previous one's place in the event something happens. Which means that if Latias goes with you another Latias will take her place and both Latios and I agree that Latias couldn't possibly be safer than in your hands." Lorenzo said as Latios nods in agreement.
Ash was silent and looked to the female Dragon type. "Do you really wanna come Latias?"
Latias nods with a big smile on her face.
"Well..." Ash stopped before a smile appears on his face. "How could I ever say no to someone like you?"
Latias smiles widely and she almost ram into him with joy, hugging him and cheering which made Ash laugh.
"Well if you're gonna come along with me you're gonna need a new name." Ash said as he paused to think. "What do you think of the name Mei-Mei?"
Latias tilted her head at the name.
"Well it means younger sister, and you can do the math with Latios." Ash explains. "So what do you think?"
Latias smiles liking it.
"Well then welcome to the team." Ash said taking out a Pokéball.
"Actually Ash, why not use this ball?" Lorenzo said pulling out.
"Actually Ash, why not use this ball?" Lorenzo said pulling out an Ultra Ball.
Ash takes it and pointed it to Latias, now named Mei-Mei. "Ready?"
Mei-Mei nods and she tapped her nose on the button, sending her inside the Ultra Ball.
Ash turns to Latios who nods as if to tell Ash to take good care of her.
"I will Latios." He nods and Latios rubbed his head onto Ash's. "We're gonna miss you guys."
"You're forgetting one more thing Ash." Lorenzo said holding out the Keystone he used to save the town.
"No way, you're giving it to me?" Ash asks taking it.
"You may still be young to fully understand the power of Mega evolution, but after yours and Bianca's help yesterday I say you may learn everything about first hand."
"Ash if you can figure this out you'll win the Johto League hands down." Tomo encourages.
"I dunno Tomo..it might be cheating." Ash said looking at it.
"It's not, the Pokémon League in fact encourages this because it shows the maximum bond between a trainer and Pokémon." Lorenzo said putting the keystone in a pendant. "Here, makes it easier to carry around."
He puts it around Ash's neck.
"I-I don't know what to say." Ash said.
"Just say you'll accept it and use it only at the right time." Lorenzo said.
"Well...alright." Ash nodded. "You have a deal Lorenzo."
"Well then Ash, I wish you luck on your journey and at the league." Lorenzo said as they left the garden.
As they left a hand grabbed a couple of items from Bianca's room and ran after them.
Climbing onto the motorboat to leave Altomare, Ash saw Bianca running after them.
"Bianca?" Ash looks to the boat driver. "Hey can you stop at the pier for a minute?"
Pulling to a stop Ash climbs off the boat as Bianca runs up to him.
"I wanted to give you something." Bianca said holding out a rolled up piece of paper and a small white box.
"Wow thank you, but you really didn't have to-" Ash was silenced when Bianca kisses him on the cheek surprising everyone.
Once she released after a few seconds, the two of them had blushes on their faces.
"Thank you Ash, for everything." She said before turning back into the city, Bianca stopped and said. "Tell Latias I'll miss her." And with that she runs off.
Ash was speechless while Brock had tears running down his eyes. "Why does Ash get all the girls?"
Snapping out of it, looks at the items, Bianca gave him. First the box.
He opened it and saw a note.
"For Latias."
He sees the Mega Stone Latias used and a neck braclet, probably for her.
Putting the box down Ash then unrolls the paper to see a beautiful painting of him and Gaia,Maelstrom and Mewtwo and all of his friends smiling together.
A smile forms onto his face. 'Thank you Bianca.'
Walking back onto the boat, they leave Altomare behind and continue on towards the Silver Conference.
But as they drove away, Ash was looking up at the sky and his eyes widened at a sight, he saw 2 invisible Latios and a Latias flying in the sky, making their way towards Altomare.
He looks in real shock before feeling the Mega Pendant around his neck and sees Mei-Mei in her Mega Evolved form.
Ash smiles tucking it inside of his shirt and pets the sleeping Phanpy as he along with his friends and family enjoyed their boat ride as they head back to the Johto Region mainland.

Hope you all enjoyed the final movie of the Original Series. We worked really hard and had to rewrite the ending for this, because I didn't like the last take of this.
Also this was inspired by one of my favorite stories, "Pokémon Ash the Legendary Rainbow Hero". So if you hadn't seen it yet, it's written by star eyes pendulum dragon.
