BirdRacket: Carol hasn't lost interest, it's just that there isn't a cosmic threat at the moment while she's with the Guardians. Regarding Peter's identity, I wish writer's identity was known by only those he trust like Aunt May and Captain America.

gunman: I had to stretch the time a bit. Peter met Teresa at about 5:50 PM, the mission ended at about 10:20 PM and Peter got home at about 12:50 AM in the morning. Peter sadly won't get the chance to punch Fury but he will tell him off. Other than that thanks for the feedback.

CRUDEN: I'm probably use some of them for Peter's other kids but I might come up with other names for them as well.

Chapter 39: Everybody Fights

It was not a good morning for several citizens of New York as they were being held hostage inside of a bank as robbers were trying to open a vault with large amounts of money. The robbers had all of the hostages wear vests with bombs attached to them.

There was a man that the robbers had with them to open the vault's door. "Come on, open the vault!" one robber said.

"I'm trying but I told you there three keys that are needed to open it and I can't turn them all", the man said.

"Fine, you two help him open the door", the leader said.

As this was all happening, Peter was swinging towards the scene of the crime with Sonja on his back. "We're almost there to the bank Sonja", Peter said as he was swinging. "You ready Sonja?"

"More than you know Spider", Sonja said with a smile.

On a rooftop, Hope looked over New York when she spotted Peter swinging over there to the bank with Sonja on his back. Hope was curious to see Peter in action and levitated over to the scene. 'Hopefully, he's as strong as he should be', Hope thought to herself as floated to their location.

Back inside the bank, the man with two of the robbers was able to open the vault revealing gold bars as well as tons of Five Hundred Dollar Bills. The leader of the group smiled before pushing the man out of the way. "Hahaha, we're rich boys!" the leader said.

"You wanna know what's great? None of the heroes are here to stop u-" the man was cut off by his teammate.

"Don't say that! You'll jinx us!" the second man said in a nervous expression.

"Oh come on, relax. Once we get out of here it's smooth sailing for us", the leader said.

"What about him?" the man asked before pointing to the man on the ground that the leader pushed down to get to the vault.

"What do you think? He helped get the money so tie him up", the leader said.

"Okay but about us?" the men looked up to see Spider-Man on the ceiling as he waved at them while Sonja stood in front with her sword ready.

"I told you you'd jinx us", the second man muttered to the other guy.

"Kill them both!" the leader yelled and all of them pulled out their guns. Peter was able to web all of their guns away, completely disarming them. "Uh oh".

"I'd say that too if I was in your position", Sonja said before ran up to punch them. The leader up his hand as he was holding a detonator.

"Come any closer and all of the people in the bank will die. All I have to do is let go of this button", the leader said with a sinister smile on his face.

"You'd go that far just to get money, even endangering the lives of innocents?" Sonja asked with an angered expression.

"Of course we will. Then again we can also work something out if you come with us. Who knows my boys and I can show you a good time", the leader said getting Sonja to glare at him.

While this went on, a small spider drone was behind him and his men and attached to a wall. Peter activated this drone in secret, just in case, to stun the man and take the remote from him. Before the spider drone could stun the man...

HAAAAAACK!

"Gahhhh! My hand!" the leader cried out as his hand was cut off.

Peter and Sonja looked on in shock as his hand fell off and Peter jumped to grab his hand and the remote all the while keeping the thumb on the button to make sure no one died.

Before the robbers could do anything else, they were lifted up in the air until they hit the ceiling. Peter and Sonja stood up to see Hope standing in front of them.

"Honestly you could've done a lot better than what you're doing now", Hope said as she began to leave.

"Really? Just so you know, we had the situation under control", Peter said as he held on to the hand.

"At the rate you're going, I seriously doubt that", Hope said .

"You know if you have all this power, could you at least get those vests off the hostages?" Peter asked.

"What makes you think I didn't do that?" Hope asked as she continued on her way. Peter walked out to see the people were freed of the bomb vests and that the other robbers were unconscious.

"She's such a show off", Peter said to himself. The police walked into the bank and saw everyone was alright and began to get everyone out of the bank. "Officer, this is the remote for the bombs. Keep the thumb on it make sure they don't go off".

"You took the man's hand off?"

"Not me, it was a blonde woman who was here earlier", Peter said before he gave the man the hand. "Regardless make sure those people are alright. Let's go Red".

"Right", Sonja said as she jumped onto his back before he swung off.

-Elsewhere-

In an alleyway of New York, a portal opened up. Soon enough, a woman with white hair and black clothing appeared as she jumped from the portal. "Sonja, where are you?" the woman said to herself as she pulled out an axe.

The woman appeared saw two men walk by and they looked at her. "Hey ma'am are you okay?" one man asked.

"Where is Sonja?"

"Who is Sonja-" Just as he was finishing the man was split in two as the woman used her axe to cleave him in two.

"Oh my God!" the other man yelled he tried to run only to get a knife in the back of the man's head killing him instantly.

The woman walked to the men's bodies and knelt down. "I'm sorry. Neither of you two deserved this", the woman said before she continued forward.

Peter's house

After some time had passed, Peter and Sonja made it back to his house. Already at the house were Vampi, Pantha, Mari, and Wanda as they were talking Wanda's baby.

After Peter and Sonja entered and greeted the others, Peter told them everything that happened at the bank. "And then she just left. We don't know what's going through her head", Peter said.

"Well at least those people are safe", Wanda said with a smile to lighten the mood.

"That's true. I hope those people will be okay from now on", Peter said with a confident smile.

"Well turn on the news to see what a great you two did", Vampi said as she turned on the TV. The moment she flipped to the news, everyone was shocked.

Breaking News: There has been a large report of murders taking place in the Manhattan area. Several individuals were horribly mutilated and cut open by what looks like centuries old weapons. Several witnesses say that the person responsible was a woman with white hair in the form of dread locks. If you happen to see this woman stay indoors and try to leave at once.

"That's terrible, who would be doing that?" Mari asked in shock.

"Someone I know". Everyone looked to see Sonja looking at the ground with her fist balled up. "What happened to her?"

"You know her?" Vampi asked.

"She was an old friend who died years ago", Sonja said as she looked away. "Someone must be controlling her".

Peter walked over to and placed a hand her shoulder. "If she's being controlled than, let's go save her", Peter said calmly. Sonja looked at him and smiled a little.

Peter and Sonja were about to head out when Peter felt a bit of pain in his head and fell to his knees. Peter groaned in pain as he heard a familiar voice. 'Peter Parker, this is Hope. We need to talk. Come to Central Park and come alone', Hope said in Peter's mind. As her voice faded, the pain ceased.

The ladies were all crowded around him to see what was wrong. "Peter are you okay?" Vampi asked.

"Yeah I'll be fine", Peter said as he got back up. "Unfortunately, Hope has called to me to speak with her in Central Park. It sounds seriously but I can't just bail on Sonja".

"Don't worry Peter, I'll go with Sonja to help her. You go and find Hope", Mari said as she changed to her Vixen suit.

"Thank you Mari", Peter said. "Let's get going. Vampi, Pantha can you you look after Wanda for me?"

"Of course we can. Get going", Pantha said. Peter nodded before he, Sonja, and Mari left the house to pursue the objectives.

with Peter

Peter (in his Spider-Man suit) arrived at Central Park where he began looking for Hope. He looked around only to see that no one was around. "Okay where is she? If she called me out here just to pull I swear I-" Peter was cut off when his Spider Sense blared.

Peter jumped to the side as Hope tried to slash him. She continued to try and slash him all the while Peter avoided her attacks. Hope managed to Superkick Peter in the face and send him backwards.

Peter managed to counter this by flipping himself up as he fell back before he slid under her and uppercut her in the face when she turned around.

"So any reason for this attack?" Peter asked as he prepared himself for another attack.

Hope didn't respond to his question and got back to attack him. Hope sheathed her sword before she began blasting him with magic bolts. Peter tried to escape her blasts but was hit in the abdomen. Hope went for a punch but caught her punch and flipped her onto the ground on her stomach.

"What's up with you Hope? Why the sudden attack? Why are doing this?" Peter asked as he held her arm behind her back.

"I wanted to know how strong you were", Hope said before she released a magical shock wave that blew Peter away. She stood back up and faced Peter when he got back up. "You were holding back intention weren't you?"

"Of course I was, I don't like to go all out", Peter began to explain. "I try to think things out instead of relying on brute force. Unlike you, I value everyone's lives. Both friend and foe alike".

"That's the naivety I knew you'd have", Hope said.

"What's that suppose to mean?" Peter asked with a frown.

with Sonja & Mari

Sonja and Mari had arrived in lower Manhattan as they came across police officers shooting at someone. They looked over to see the with white hair continue to hack and slash various police men.

"Stay out of my way all of you!" the woman said. She was shot at by one police man and she slowly began to advance on him all the while blocking shots with her sword.

"ANNISIA STOP!" Sonja yelled. The woman stopped and turned to see Sonja.

"Sonja, I knew you'd be here", Annisia said as she started to advance on her and Mari. "It is time we finish this fight sister".

"Great she wants to fight", Mari said.

"No she wants to fight me", Sonja said as she slowly began walking forward. "Apologies but I need to do this alone".

"I know. I'll help the injured", Mari said before she left to help the survivors.

Sonja pulled out her sword and began clash blades with Annisia. The two continued to fight as they clashed hard with both sides not giving up. Both women fought with blades before they both knocked their swords away.

They resolved to fight with their bare hands as they began punching each other and blocking punches as well. Sonja varied her attacks by punching and kicking Annisia which caught her opponent off guard several times.

Annisia was punched back a bit only for her to pull out her axe and attempt to kill Sonja with it. Sonja was to catch the blade with her hands and stop it inches from her face.

"Annisia what has happened to you?" Sonja asked as she pushed the axe to the ground.

"I am bound to do this Sonja, against my will", Annisia said.

"Yes and you've been a great puppet Annisia". Sonja, Annisia, and Mari looked to see Lady Demon walk to them. "However I specifically told you not to talk to Sonja. It seems I will have to punish you". Just like that Lady Demon began to blast at Annisia with red electricity and causing the platinum blonde to scream out in pain.

"Stop this now!" Sonja said enraged and with her sword in hand. She aimed for Lady Demon but she was stopped by Annisia who kicked her. Sonja rolled on the ground before stopping and looking to Annisia. "Annisia, fight her! She's controlling you!"

"Really because from where sitting she just saved you from dying by my hand", Lady Demon said. "I want to punish you some more but I'll that go... for now. Time to go Annisia, Hell awaits". Lady Demon opened a portal and was about to enter it when she looked to Sonja and Mari. "By the way tell Spider-Man I said be careful. I will probably go for his kid if his not careful".

That scared both Sonja and Mari as Lady Demon and Annisia left for Hell. "Come on we have to go", Mari said as she helped Sonja up. "Will you be okay?"

"I will be", Sonja said as she towards the ground.

Back with Peter & Hope

"You heard what I said", Hope said. "Even after everything you've been through, you still choose to hope for something better. Only idiots who believe in hope die quickly".

"You're saying it's a sin to hope?" Peter asks her.

"I'm saying you need to stop being an idiot. If you don't Lady Demon will take everything away from you", Hope said as she began to walk away. Before she get far away...

"Who the hell are you to judge me?" Peter asked. "Who the hell are you to judge my convictions and morals?! You, who had forsaken her own humanity cannot shit about me at all!" Hope turned around to face him as Peter walked up to her and got in her face. "You have no fucking right to judge me at all for what I believe. I will continue to believe and I will continue to hope!"

"You're an idiot for believing in hope", Hope said.

"You're an idiot for not believing", Peter retorted back with a pointed gaze at her. Hope proceeded to punch in the face hard. Peter wasn't going to let slide and punch her back in the face. "I will keep believing whether you like it or not".

Hope wiped the blood from her mouth. "Whatever. Just don't die", Hope said before she opened a portal and left.

Peter's House

Some time had passed and Peter, Sonja, and Mari returned to the house. They told the others of what happened with them about Hope fighting Peter and about Annisia being brought back to Sonja by Lady Demon.

Needless to say that, this was a weird day for everyone. Peter decided to speak to everyone. "Guys look regardless of whatever short comings happened to day, we can and will work things out", Peter said. "Hope and I will find a way work together and Sonja you will save Annisia".

"That I will do", Sonja said with confidence.

"And together we will defeat Lady Demon and whatever else comes our way", Peter said.

"Lady Demon said said she will come after your child", Mari said.

"Lady Demon will try but she will fail. That I will make certain", Peter said vehemently before he smiled. "We are all in this together right?"

All of the ladies smiled before they all nodded. "Right".

With that Peter went in to the kitchen to cook and was joined by everyone. While at one of the tables, Pantha looked down at her hands on the table. 'Elly, I think I love him too. But is it okay for me?' Pantha thought to herself.

Hell

Lady Demon and Annisia where a room together where they both were talking. "You do know what you have to do right?"

"Yes destroy Red Sonja", Annisia said monotonously.

"Good girl. You do that, and I will be able to take care of the Spider-Man", Lady Demon said. "So much chaos will ensue and I want us both to be there when it happens. Understood?"

"Yes ma'am", Annisia said monotonously.

"Good girl", Lady Demon said before she seductively kissed Annisia on the lips. With that Lady Demon walked in to her room all the while Annisia stayed where she was and shed a tear.

Next time Carol returns and she and Jess speak with Peter. Plus a villain plots something sinister after the Avengers leave Earth.
