Chapter: ?

The Light.

Everything suddenly comes to a halt, as a gentle glow resides overhead.

"This was not how things were supposed to go, Frisk exits the underground and regrets leaving Asriel there alone as she lives with the others."

"That was how the true ending was supposed to go."

"But now? Things have gone too far..."

An elder monster walks into the room where Frisk and Asriel are held, he walks past Chara whom was charging in at the time about to reach them.

His fur is that of a greyish white color, his dull green eyes show an exhaustion to them. Two short horns on his head as he glances to Asriel.

"Are you sure about this?"

Another person walks up next to him, he stood with fur covering his body, but a hood covered his head.

"Questioning things now Bard?"

The hooded monster shakes his head.

"No… I just want to make sure you make the right choice. Asriel. This is your story, this is their story. I just retell the tales we see."

The Bard speaks, his dual colored eyes lock with the dull emerald eyes of the elder Asriel.

"I know… ever since I met you and retold this story, I couldn't help but feel… like this story is wrong. Everything was not as it should have been."

"And now I know… this is not how our story ends..."

"I don't want to risk Frisk or Asriel to go through the same pain I had to… and I fear despite everything one will have to… live without the other in the end."

"In a world where loneliness is plentiful and not a soul is to be found."

Elder Asriel sighs as he glances at Frisk, his eyes wince with pain as he glances to his hands, shaking… trembling with fear.

The Bard reaches over and places a hand on his arm.

"You know… I won't leave your side right? I can't abandon a friend… and I can't leave a person alone till they leave on their own accord."

"So, what ever you choose, I will be there till the very end. And then I will watch over you again when it begins again and tell another story."

"The story of Frisk and Asriel's Greatest adventures."

The elder Asriel chuckles as he glances at the Bard.

"I'd like to hear that when we meet again my friend… the tale of how everyone ends up happy. And how everyone wins."

The Bard smiles as they walk forth once more. They stand under the containers with Frisk and Asriel in them as the Elder Asriel opens a menu before him.

Pressing away at the pages he sighs as he is soon left with a single button.

"You know what to do right?"

The Bard nods as he hugs the elder Asriel one last time.

"Yes. Good-bye my friend. It was an Honor to hear your tale, now let me tell another to you."

The elder Asriel smiles as he presses onto the button, causing a light to wash over everything, Frisk and Asriel soon are finding themselves waking,

back into a hundred percent condition. They see Bard stand there as their minds soon arrive with them.

"Hey what the… Where is everyone?! What is this and who are you!"

Asriel calls out in anger, not noticing Frisk's presence. The Bard's voice suddenly becomes two voices.

"I… am the Bard. I was listening to the tale of Asriel and Frisk. From a friend."

"Worry not, for I am not your enemy, but I do need to tell you the truth."

Bard says as he looks at Frisk.

"You already, realize where we are don't you. Frisk."

Asriel looks to his left to see Frisk staring with wide eyes into the wide void.

"Why… and how are we here?!" She calls out with fear.

Bard smiles gently.

"It was cause of my friend. His name, was Asriel Dreemurr. And he has begun the restoration of this world"

Frisk and Asriel glance at each other with confusion before they look back at him.

"You may have realized that the world was multi-dimensioned. Nea as she is called is Frisk, but she also is not. Your use of Resestting"

"Was abused by another, every reset, and every true reset, split the world, Two became four, four became eight."

"But even those resets have their own will, and their resets began to split it further… over six hundred versions exist and some are still being made."

Frisk's eyes widen.

"That is why… everything felt different each time I reset. It was different. Their peronalities had different ticks…"

Asriel's eyes narrow as he walks infront of her.

"I don't trust him Frisk, hes got to be ly-"

The Bard shakes his head.

"Asriel, your the only consistant factor across the board nearly. There are extreme cases that you changed, but you stayed essentially the same."

"One world, you hated Frisk, but loved her. Your actions as she did everything for you, did nothing, but hurt her."

"Untill you pushed her down the stairs and heard a snap, her blood poured from her body and you rushed her to the Hospital..."

"You promised to take care of her… only to learn she was forever a cripple by your own hands. And she still forgave you."

"It broke you and you ended your own life, and Frisk followed suit."

Asriel's eyes widen in horror.

"The Asriel I knew… had to make a tough choice, let Frisk suffer or give her a swift end."

"It traumatized him to no end, and in the end he held her and his magic together… it caused him to start aging like normal people because of his trauma."

Frisk shook her head as she walks past Asriel.

"What happens to us now?"

She asks, curious of their fate.

The Bard complies to her question with a smile

"The new beginning."

"I am here to start a new tale, so… tell me where do we want to go for your new story to begin.."

Asriel glances away with worry.

"We lose our memories here don't we?"

The Bard nods.

"Yes. And your personalities may change, for you be several people all converged into one. You will become unstable emotionally again Frisk, and Asriel's anger as well."

"This price, will change the reset though. Saving will be useable again. And… lives will be within reach that were once gone."

"Not only that, but you will have a chance to experience new things, and your old experiences will return. Your memories will be gone."

"But your bonds will grow. Frisk, Asriel. You two will be unbreakable once you realize your true bond to each other."

Asriel glances at Frisk and then the Bard.

"I… want to head to the mountains."

Frisk glances in surprise, she never head Asriel wanting to go somewhere otherthan where she wanted to go.

"I want the snow. It would be a change of pace."

He says with a smile. Glancing at Frisk with worry.

"Is it… okay I make this choice this time Frisk?"

She giggles with a smile.

"Yes, I will follow you this time Asriel, lead the way to our new life 'Bard'. Show us and then… once this is all over, tell us the tale of this story and of your friend Asriel."

Frisk says with a smile as the three of them smile gently.

"So be it, a tale of my friend once we meet again, I can do."

The Bard snaps his fingers as the two freeze and he sighs.

"To all those who are reading, I apologize this must happen."

"Things can change, and sometimes a new story must be created from the ashes of an old"

"Just to tell it right, to tell it fully, to… move on from pains."

"Too many bad memories are held in this story, and in order to give you all a full ending, I will write it again, with a new stronger bond than before."

"Things will change, but some will not. Bond are unbreakable the more they experience things, and some of those things are already set into stone."

Its time…

To say…

Goodbye.

Journey Tale.

However, the Journey never ends

Cold winds blow over a city in the mountains, Henia, City of souls.

In a small house a pair of brown eyes open to a new day, the feeling of something familiar, yet also the feeling of something coming.

The eyes belonged to a very Jane looking girl, as she gets up and gets dressed before leaving, heading towards the forest.

She makes her way towards a stone, with a name written on it.

'Frisk'

'A beloved Friend'

'A soul too young to leave'

"Frisk."

A new story… Bard's Tale is coming.
