"Juliantha is such a lovely name for her." Nya gushed. "She's as beautiful as her mother."
Lark laughed weakly. "Thank you."
It's been a week and Ivan finally deemed it alright for both Lark and her daughter to arrive home, now the ninja were finally meeting the little girl.
Skylor laughed as well and said. "I'm afraid that once our girls all grow up they're gonna beat us in cuteness." She was currently giving Sasha a little stuffed animal while Kai held his daughter tightly.
Lark and Nya both agreed with her immediately while Lloyd huffed. "Cant you all be equally cute?"
"Yeah!" Jay and Kai agreed at the same time.
"Since Zane and I bare the only son at the moment I believe Kodiak will be the most handsome." Pixal joined in. "Sorry, Love." Pixal was currently holding her son, who was currently sleeping.
"Well, if we do ever adopt a daughter I guess the story will be quite the same." Zane joked back.
"Oh no she wouldnt!" Nya whispered shouted. She snapped her fingers and said. "Aliana will forever be the cutest."
"I'm afraid that title has to go to my little girl." Kai butted in. "Sasha is the cutest."
"No she isnt! My baby girl will beat yours by a mile." Jay responded, waving his hand slightly, steadying Aliana in his other hand before his hand that was waving around went back to also assisting her weight.
"I think Juliantha would win by a mile, especially if she looks anything like her Dad." Lark teased gently, her eyes gleaming in the dim light, hugging her daughter tightly. Lloyd frowned slightly.
"I'll only accept you calling me cute because it's you." He slightly grumbled, a small eye roll assisting him as he spoke.
Misty and Cole both looked to each other before Misty giggled. Cole smiled back and wrapped an arm around her waist.
"So, speaking of kids." Lark grinned, looking to her best friend with a mischievous gleam in her gently gaze.
All the other ninja turned to the pair as well, also grinning.
"Hey, hey, hey." Cole said waving his hand frantically. "Dont put this on us."
Misty laughed and said. "We haven't been together that long." She added.
"So?" Kai asked. "Didnt stop Lloyd or Lark."
"Hey!" Lloyd retorted. "Unfair."
"Let's just get back to the topic of the new baby." Misty attempted to change the subject, luckily being successful in that attempt.
A lot had actually happened throughout the moons of Lark being expectant, as you know most the stories, I'll fill in the last gaps.
Lark did manage to prove Nya wrong and her and Lloyd did get married before the baby was born, as didnt Zane and Pixal, and Kai and Skylor.
All the weddings happened throughout one month and they were all simple, quiet weddings. No matter how hard Kai tried to convince Skylor to make theirs into a big one.
Everyone else was content with small weddings though, especially Lark.
Each of them had picked out amazing themes and colours and all the weddings ended without any issues, except for Lark accidentally throwing up on Lloyd, but hey. They dont talk about that.
"Has Wu or Misako met her yet?" Nya asked the pair.
Lloyd answered before Lark with a shake of his head. "Mom and Uncle wanted to wait until you guys met her first." He explained. "I tried to invite them in, but they kept refusing."
"Did they fear it'd be too crowded?" Misty asked, scanning the living room and slightly gripping Cole's arm as she spoke.
"They wanted to speak to me." Another voice spoke up.
The ninja all spun around, Lloyd defensively moving in front of Lark as everyone did.
"Cherry, you got to stop doing that, we could of seriously hurt you, especially Lloyd." Nya sighed. "Lloyd, Lark, you two haven't met Cherry yet." She explained. "But she's a friend."
Lark peeked from behind Lloyd and her eyes slightly widen. "You look a lot like that other creature I saw." She said.
Cherry looked down at her body before looking back to Lark. "I dont really look like anyone else." She said politely. "Maybe you were dreaming, and I am no friend, I simply know you humans."
Lark shook her head, but dropped the subject.
"What are you doing in here?" Lloyd asked with a glare.
"I asked Cherry to come inside." Wu spoke from the doorway. "I dont mean for her to get near that... that thing." He said lowly, clearly still not liking that Lloyd had a child with Lark.
Cherry rolled her eyes and stated in a very deadpan voice. "He wanted you to meet me for reasons he wont tell me."
"Well, it's nice to meet you." Lloyd said.
"Can I leave now?" Cherry asked Wu. "I shouldn't be here, I need to search for Krystal, you know this."
Wu shook his head and pointed at a couch, one that Lark wasnt sitting on. "Sit."
Cherry huffed and said in a very whiney voice, clearly just to irritate Wu. "But, Daaaaaaaad."
"Sit." He repeated, much more sternly this time.
Cherry obediently sat down, but her eyes were narrowed to slits, clearly agitated by this weak human telling her what to do.
Lloyd huffed and sat down next Lark, while everyone else sat down on the floor, Kai, Jay, and Pixal taking great care as to not disturb the babies.
Wu sighed and said. "You guys didnt have to sit down."
"What do you want?" Cherry snapped, her patience ticking by every second. She was worried. She was worried for Krystal.
"Would you calm it." Wu responded back as calmly as ever. "I just want Jay, Nya, Pixal, Zane, and Kai to get ready to head out."
"What?" Cherry snarled out, her teeth revealing as she did so. Cherry had pretty sharp teeth in her mouth, but they seemed more like needles, they'd probably still hurt.
"Krystal committed murder, multiple murders, Cherry. The hunt is on he is now a danger, you're going to take the ninja to his den and see what you can find, and if you come across Krystal, put him to sleep and bring him back here. We can lock him up in a cell, and the cell would be made of Vengestone, it should cancel out his powers."
"Should?" Cherry repeated, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, you all are part dragon, are you not?"
"Well, yes." Cherry sighed. "But we're all hybrids, from creatures who dont naturely bare powers."
"But are you not Elemental Masters?" Wu pressed.
Cherry sighed. "Our elemental powers originated from our dragon half."
"So you are." Wu nodded. "Therefore it should work on Krystal."
"But they were terribly weak." She continued with a slight glare. "They might of evaporated once Tarek forced them into new strengths."
"But my father made them stronger." Wu argued against. "You must still have some kind of elemental power in you."
"Look, Child of the crazy man, when powers are suddenly forced into a new zone, theyll evaporate leading into your new powers, the evaporated powers is simply an old baseline used for your new powers to come through."
Wu narrowed his eyes at the insult to his father but didnt add to it. "So, in other words."
"You dont know." Lloyd finished. "When I got my golden powers, I couldnt use my original power at all." Lloyd said to no one in particular.
Nya caught on. "And your golden powers came from your original powers, as well as some help with the four guardian's powers."
"So, once you returned the previous powers..." Lark whispered. "You lost your golden power, but your 'Baseline' power returned because it was evaporated into the new power and reverted back to normal, but other parts of your powers left completely to return back to their original element."
Lloyd nodded to his wife and wrapped his arm around her shoulder, pulling her into a hug.
"But my father's powers were of an element." Wu nodded. "So it should still work."
Cherry looked thoughtful for a moment and said. "It'll cancel out, hopefully all, or atleast most of his powers. As we became stronger, we gained more powers we never knew possible. Those might not count as elemental powers, like his ability to teleport." She added that last part a bit louder. She continued on into her normal tone. "Magic can also be learnt, not born with, so any magic he knows isnt an element either."
Wu's face turned white. "Teleport? Magic?" He repeated.
Cherry looked to Wu and said in a very cold voice. "I dont think it's his ice abilities you should be so focused on."
All the ninja gulped and exchanged glances. Lloyd's grip on his wife grew tighter while Lark held her daughter closer to her body.
Cole kissed Misty's forehead gently and the two pressed their foreheads together.
Kai and Skylor hugged each other, their daughter inbetween their bodies.
Nya and Jay held hands tightly.
Pixal and Zane both looked to each other with gentle gazes, Pixal's grip on Kodiak's tightening.
"We're gonna have to talk him down." Lloyd finally broke the silence of the ninja all seeking comfort. "If he can just teleport out of a Vengestone cell because it wouldn't qualify under a 'Elemental Power' to the stone, then he's practically unbeatable."
"And if the seasons refuse to fight their leader." Nya added.
Wu sighed. "How easy is it to change his mind on something."
Cherry gave Wu a small glance and said. "You know, we all got the same trait from our dragon half."
"And what is that?" Lark asked quietly, her voice almost going unheard.
"We're all stubborn."
