Shadowed Fury 48

They rolled out of the jump in a heap. Kyouran kicked him away from her so she might get a moment to breathe correctly and try and get her balance back. Orochimaru's poison was stronger than before. It was taking more time for her to even recover enough to keep the world from spinning around her. Kakashi was being controlled by his instincts at the moment, and he didn't even know it. His mind was on dominance and not the fact she was injured. Even at her weakest she'd never be able to beat him like this. Out of nowhere she kicked him away from her. She had to run and try to get back to her house to try and counter act the poison running through her veins. A dark growl escaped him as he stood before her in his fox form. His eyes were crimson. She rose up unsteadily and took a couple steps backwards. They were in no condition to take each other on, him mentally and her physically.

His chest rumbled telling her that he wasn't in his right mind at the moment. She took a few more steps backwards. Cautiously, she looked around debating on her escape, but a painful wave washed through her making her legs tremble underneath her. Before she could even flee, he body checked her into the nearest tree. Her ribs protested at the abuse and her mind spun outta control. It wouldn't take much more abuse before she passed out and the poison got the best of her.

"Kakashi stop," she grunted out. "You have to stop."

Breathing was starting to become a problem. His only response was growling. Unsteadily she got up and shifted to her humanoid form. Her body wavered a bit as she reached down and put her hand over the wound Orochimaru gave her. The blood flow was less but if she got into a bigger fight she might bleed out. Knowing she had to run she readied herself to shadow jump. Something moving around behind them caught her eye. Before she could even get her attention on him enough to jump his fist caught her across the cheek. The taste of blood flooded her mouth at his hit. She hit the ground with a grunt. Kyouran rose up on her hands and knees and spit the blood out of her mouth. Then something sharp hit her in the hip.

"Do it fucking right this time Kakashi," she heard Alexial growl from the distance.

Kyouran smirked as she clenched her fists. Alexial being a medic ninja and with the help from Sakura they created a medicine for her that speeds up her demon healing coupled with some antitoxins. Power surged through her form. With a snarl she was up in her fox form. The two red eyed fox demons were glaring at each other as if daring the other to move. They both were apex predators daring each other to make the first mistake by making the first move. She wasn't going to move first because she was the more rational at this point. He vanished making her wary right off the bat. Snorting she rolled just in time to avoid being kicked in the ribs. For once she was glad he wasn't his past self because this battle might be a little harder than normal.

Leaping backwards she melted into the shadows. While the antitoxin worked it magic she'd have to dodge him for now. He froze suddenly for some reason and it made her nervous. She wasn't sure what was going on but something had changed drastically. Scenting the air she tried to glean from the scents around her what had changed. He was standing there his eyes trained on her but not moving in the slightest.

"Kakashi?" she asked softly wondering if he'd come to his senses enough to stop this senseless battle.

She didn't want to fight or even hurt him though the long wait for him made her edgy and some of the resentment lingered inside of her. A soft rumbling growl escaped him and that set her on edge right away. She stood strong but didn't know how he'd react. Female Beserkers were one thing but males were another thing entirely. There was an urge to step backwards away from the lost male. Though, he wasn't acting like he was completely out of his mind. Kiri had been a cake walk compared to Kakashi right now. Kiri had been predictable in her rages whereas Kakashi was an unknown. There was no telling on the degree of his control right now. Curling her hands at her sides she readied herself. There was no need for both of them to lose their control like this. Bad things happened when more than one demon loses their control in a fight. Others got hurt in those instances or one or both combatants.

"Kakashi whatever you think you're doing you need to calm down."

His eyes narrowed at her as the growl rumbling in his chest increased in volume. Without any warning he launched himself at her claws extended. With a snarl she caught his wrist and threw him away from her. With a loud poof he vanished and a fist came outta nowhere and slammed into her cheek sending her into a tree. The tree groaned in protest at the abuse. Shaking off the impact she slowly rose to her feet. She wouldn't make the same mistake twice. Closing her eyes she allowed her senses to spread around her like a net waiting for him to make a move. Her senses quivered to her left and she ducked into the shadows easily. The ground exploded where she'd been. Snorting she laid back on a wide tree branch and sent a clone of herself out to face off against the Beserker. It took him less time than expected to realize the clone he was fighting against wasn't her. The branch beneath her exploded sending her into the next tree. With a snarl caught herself against the trunk with her claws buried deep into the aged wood.

"You'll have to do better than that little Fury," she heard from him.

She froze at the fact he could speak a language older than he was. Even back then she dared not teach him that language due to those who could understand it. It tended to bring out those who were in the worst of the breed. It stirred something dark inside her. She dared not believe someone was stupid enough to teach him the ways of the shadow demons.

"You tread on dangerous grounds Kakashi speaking to me like that."

"Is that so? What are you going to do about it?"

She froze as she felt them. He didn't know what he'd done. There were those of her mother's clan that wouldn't hesitate to kill him for even daring to speak the language of her ancestors. Kakashi much like her was an outsider to the Shadow Clan.

"Kakashi you don't know what you've done."

"Actually I do Kyouran. Did I mention there was shadow blood in me as well as the arctic fox?"

"You think that'll protect you from them?"

"They are at my command."

She snorted at his words. Her tail flicked back and forth in annoyance. It was one more thing she didn't need right now since they were in the middle of a battle that would lead to other things if they went right. Shaking those thoughts off she had to get rid of these upstarts that her idiot mate thought he could control.

"They are commanded by no one Kakashi not even the Queen of their race."

Side stepping she barely avoided the claws of a shadow reaching for her. Hissing softly she felt claws rake lightly across her back drawing blood. Kakashi seemed to freeze at the scent in the air. His eyes shifted to that of the sharingan. His eyes were drawn to her. The sharingan was spinning slowly in his eyes.

"She's right weakling," a voice hissed from the shadows. "We are controlled by no one."

The shadow demon formed in front of Kakashi without warning, but Kyouran was there in a heartbeat and caught the shadow demon's wrist. Even if it wasn't official and he was still a jackass, he was her mate.

"You will not touch what is mine," she snarled as she dug her claws into their arm drawing shadow blood forth.

"Who are you to dare lay claim to this man who summoned us?"

"I'm his mate. His Queen."

"You are not mates and you are no Queen."

She dug her claws in harder. A smirk crossed her features as the shadow winced and took solid form knowing it wouldn't be able to escape her grasp like this. There were few outside of the clan that could catch a shadow in their shadow form.

"You sure on that one?"

The shadow demon searched her eyes for something and for a second something flashed in his eyes. Fear mixed in his scent adding to her smirk.

"He called you Little Fury."

"That's right I am Kyouran Queen of Shadows and Princess to the Fox Clans of Fire Nation."

"They said you were dead."

She snarled in the Shadow's face as she let her glamour go. Her markings were thicker and darker showing her anger. She was charged up and ready for a fight now that the antitoxin was completely through her system. That and she was so sexually frustrated from being alone so long without her mate. Even in death she wouldn't betray her mate.

"Tell them to back down and leave right now."

"No."

"We are in the middle of a mating battle. Unless you are here to challenge either of us to the rights to the other."

The shadow shook his head vehemently. She dropped him and he slunk away leaving drops of blood as he vanished. Snorting at the scent of the blood on her claws she looked up at Kakashi.

"Mating battle?" Kakashi asked.

She tilted her head to the side to look at him. Her eyes were almost crimson.

"Alexial did tell you to do it right this time."

He looked perplexed for a moment. Shaking her head she turned her back on him and started to walk away. She knew it would get a rise out of his darker side and that's what she wanted. She wanted their bond to be the unbreakable and unending kind of bond it should've been from the very start. "You can always back out Kakashi besides the stink of Uchiha blood is enough…"

Before she could even finish her sentence he tackled her from behind sending them sprawling in the moss and grass. With a snarl she kicked him away from her. Her fangs were bared as she crouched there on the ground. His eyes were flashing between colors and the markings on his face were darker. Her hand was extended ready to rend if necessary. Out of nowhere he lunged from the shadows, but being older and wiser than he was even with his past knowledge she had the power to show him up. Turning she lashed out with her claws tearing cloth and barely scratching his skin. Had this been a serious battle he'd be bleeding everywhere. The smell of his blood even if only a little made her ready for this fight. They were both charged ready for this. Kakashi shook his head which confused her. His hands went to his head and he sank to his knees. Not for an instant did she let her guard down watching him struggle with something.

She didn't even move or speak knowing something was coming to a head. It was a good thing she was listening to her instinct. He leapt for her. His eyes wild as he went for her. His claws swiped at her. It was almost like he was being possessed. She would need to keep a level head for this to come out right in the end. He lashed out at her again but this time she was ready. Her hands caught his and she brought him forward against her body. Her legs wrapped around his hip and legs to try and get him down. When they fell she landed on top of him and she couldn't help but moan as his obvious arousal hit her heat through their clothes. In her distraction he managed to free himself and turn the tables on her. He slammed her hard against the ground and pinned her hands above her head. If he'd have every intention of killing her she'd be dead right now and it made her flinch on the inside. She was better than this but in the end she wanted forever with him this time. Wanted it with everything inside of her. With a feral snarl she snapped her head forward and bit his shoulder hard. Her fangs almost hit bone she clamped down so hard.

With the flow of blood on her tongue the onslaught of emotions washed through her. Like so long ago it was a rush that had her jerking her hips up against his. A brush of something through the emotions washing through her made her pause trying to figure out what it was. Before she could even figure out what it was that she'd felt pain blossomed in her shoulder. Tears formed behind her closed eyes as his form relaxed and he laid down on top of her. His hands instead of gripping her wrists moved to tangle their fingers together. He let go first and lapped softly at her neck. She took his cue and pulled back and lapped at his neck.

"I thought you would've fought harder," he rumbled softly against her neck.

"We wanted the same thing so no need to draw it out. Though, I thought for a moment you didn't want this anymore."

He pulled back and looked down at her. Confusion dancing in his eyes.

"Why wouldn't I…"

"You could've chosen someone else that had no past life to burden their hearts."

"Kyouran," he tisked for a moment. "I would've chosen you in the end. I didn't give us a chance back then when I wanted to be with you as much as you wanted to be with me. You were my best friend. I didn't want to ruin that, but I did anyway."

"Kakashi…"

"No let me get this out. Even though that night was a blur to me I remember telling you that I loved you. I still do and I always will."

A familiar necklace was around his neck and she knew then that this was what was meant to be from the beginning. There was no telling how he got the charm since it had been lost the day Kakashi had died. She pulled one of her hands away from his and grabbed the familiar necklace around his neck and yanked him down into a kiss. Familiar feelings washed through them as they felt whole for once in their lives. Whole like they should've been the first time. He pulled his head back just a little to look into her eyes.

"That was an anti-climatic mating fight."

"Kakashi," she growled in playful annoyance. "What's the point of drawing out the fight when we know in the end we belong together, but if you wish for a fight like that I can give you one."

"I'd rather not," he said with a soft growl.

He leaned down and nipped at the side of her neck. "There are other things on my mind."

"If you have that on your mind we're not doing it here," she snapped softly.

"Where did you have in mind?"

"Home," she purred softly.

"Home…"

She could see the memories in his eyes at the thought of that word.

"Our home and our bed."

"Let's go home."

With a devious smirk she wrapped her arms around his neck and yanked him down into a kiss and then she shadow jumped and landed softly on their bed. Kakashi pulled back from the kiss and buried his nose against her neck. She could feel soft tremors going through him. Reaching up she stroked his neck and ran her claws up into his hair and stroked back down. His hands clenched by her hips as the tremors ran through him.

"Kakashi what's wrong mate?"

He bit her hard on the neck in reprimand.

"Just because I have shadow blood in me mate doesn't mean I like shadow jumping."

"You'll have to get use to it again Kakashi. It's what we are."

"I still don't like it Kyouran."

She smiled softly as she reached up and licked his neck softly. His hands ran up underneath her shirt and froze feeling new raised marks on her sides. He pulled back and lifted her shirt up to see the new marks on her sides. He spread his fingers and ran his nails lightly over the five jagged scars on each side.

"Kakashi it's from a battle long since past."

"Kyouran…"

"It wouldn't do to worry about it now Kakashi. It was a threat that I took care of."

He leaned down and tugged her shirt completely off and threw it to the side. With a smirk he hooked his finger under her black bra.

"Kakashi you cut that bra I'm going to kick your ass."

"Empty threats mate mine," he purred.

With a snarl and a bit of maneuvering he was underneath her. She smirked at him and leaned down and tugged at his shirt to get it off. He sat up so it was easier on her to get the shirt off. With a quick tug both his shirt and mask were on the floor somewhere in the room. She could feel his hands snake up her spine and unhook her bra. Leaning down he nipped at the top of her breasts. He rested his forehead against her collar bone. A soft smile graced her features as she wrapped her arms around him. His breath tickled her skin as he took a deep breath. She buried her nose in his silver locks and took her own deep breath taking his scent in.

"I missed this," he murmured softly.

"Your scent always comforted me. The calm of a wind and storm swept forest."

Her claws ran gently down his back making him shiver. Her fingers trailed down to where his tail was. She smirked knowing she'd turn the tables on her beloved mate. His arms wrapped around her hips pulling her closer to him. Her nails gently ran over the base of his tail making him shiver and nip at her skin harder. He pulled back from her chest and looked up at her. Mischief was glittering in her eyes as she stroked his tail one more time before wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him softly.

"If I'd known what rubbing your tail did to you I would've taken advantage more."

"You do you die."

"That would be counterproductive," he purred.

"Kakashi," she growled softly.

He reached up and tangled his fingers in her hair. He brushed his nose against her softly before kissing her lips. Kyouran pulled back to look Kakashi in the eyes.

"What's wrong?" he asked softly.

"Nothing is wrong."

His fingers ran up her spine slowly. She nuzzled his neck softly.

"Don't leave me again."

"Never again," he promised softly.

Kakashi laid her down gently and started removing the rest of their clothes before laying down on top of her again. A shiver ran through both their bodies as they lay together for a moment like that. Kyouran smirked as she wrapped her legs around his hips pulling them closer together. A soft groan escaped him as he rested his face against her neck. He shifted a bit and managed to slide into her. Both let out moans from the feelings of being complete rushed through them. Her nails dug into his shoulders and his nails dug into her hips. The tinge of blood in their air made both of their eyes shoot crimson for a moment before reverting back to their normal colors. His strokes were slow and even until she growled and started meeting him with hard jerks of her hips. Something snapped inside of both of them as their eyes shot crimson and they lost themselves into each other. When they came back to themselves again they were so exhausted and their marks glittered their necks. Kakashi easily slipped to sleep beside her, but Kyouran couldn't fall asleep. She didn't know how long she watched her mate sleep.

She languidly licked her mate's neck as they lay amongst the covers of their bed. She smiled inwardly at the thought. Her mark shown starkly against his neck. It was a dark blue paw print with a white moon in the big pad of the paw. Laying her head on his shoulder she couldn't help but think back to the past. Some part of her was afraid to go to sleep thinking this nothing more than a dream.

"Why are you so afraid mate?" she heard him murmur softly.

She looked down at him. One eye was closed and the other staring at her half lidded. She couldn't help but feel a rush of arousal through her at the lazy look.

"I remember…" she started softly, "I remember the first time."

Kakashi shifted his head so he could nip at his mark on her neck. It was a black paw print with a snowflake in the big pad. She shivered at his attention on her mark.

"I'm not letting you go Kyouran. I remember too and regret what I did to you knowing what I know now. I wanted this as badly as you do."

"What…"

"I saw a pair once. A pair that was looked down upon because she was a half-breed and he a full blood. I saw them and longed for a bond like that one of the unending type. This was before I remembered the past Kyouran. Then I had a flash just then along with the longing a dark haired pregnant woman sitting under the moon light with her back to me. Then she turned her head to me with a smile and a flash of amethyst and she beckoned me to her. It was gone quickly."

She watched her mate quietly knowing he had to get this out or he would struggle forever with it. "Kyouran I saw that bond, and I wanted it so badly. It triggered my darker half. When I came to a lot of people had died. I was found by the Uchiha and taken in and trained to be a bodyguard for the Elders. I could never figure out for the longest time what there was to guard them from until you came to that meeting to crash it. To remind those people that you are the head of the Clan regardless."

"I'm not head of their clan Kakashi, but Sai made sure we three Guardians had say in everything and the contract is binding jutsu use or not. Sasuke and Sakura are two halves of a whole just like Kaji and Gaara are two halves of a whole."

"As are we."

She nuzzled his neck softly. Then a large yawn escaped her lips as she shifted to her humanoid form and curled against him. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her against him.

"Sleep mate," he whispered softly. "We have a long day ahead of us."

She tucked her head up underneath his chin and easily fell asleep.
