Last time on Dragon Ball F, Sonushi woke up in the presence of a large Saiyan named Broly. Upon befriending him, she was forced to battle him by the West Supreme Kai and Cold. Upon being defeated by an enraged Broly, she once again unleashed the powers of Migate no Goku, damaging the West Supreme Kai in the process. However, she fell out of the powerup. However, Goku Dark arrived to battle, transformed newly into the legendary transformation of Super Saiyan God. Will Dark defeat West Supreme Kai? Find out on Dragon Ball F!
Chapter Forty: Battle of Gods: Goku Dark Versus West Supreme Kai
"You, a god?" West Supreme Kai growled with hatred at the audacity of the doppelganger Saiyan. "You're merely a mortal. You could not begin to realize the powers of a god."
"Technically, so are you," Dark's smirk never left her face. "I mean, I can and will kill you here, after all."
"Insolent worm!" West Supreme Kai closed the gap between her and the Super Saiyan God, but her advance was halted by a fist slamming into her face. Dark dropped Sonushi onto Broly, who held her along with his father.
"Now, let's see whose godhood is superior," Dark cracked her knuckles. West Supreme Kai used her Kai Kai to move behind Dark. However, an elbow to her face halted the advance she'd have made.
"I'm a martial artist, remember?" Dark swung her leg around to kick her in the head. "Despite being a child, I'm still a martial artist. You're quite lucky you only got a taste of Chikarot's power. But, I'm going to give you all of mine."
"If you think I'm so easily beaten, you're mistaken." Blood dripped from West Supreme Kai's mouth as she held up a ball of her Ki. Tossing it up into the air, she caused it to expand bigger and bigger.
"Pity you'll never see my peak," Dark drove a devastating kick to her gut. West Supreme Kai gasped for air as her body was flung backwards, crashing into the wall. She stood up, panting as she continued to send her Ki into the sphere above them. The doppelganger moved toward her, her movement being halted as a three toed foot collided with her back. She hit the ground, standing up in amusement.
"Funny, I was trying to see if that would hurt," She brushed herself off. "Looks like you're not that much stronger after all, Cold."
"I'll destroy you, worm," Cold said, his form resembling Freeza's final form.
"I'll kill her, Cold," West Supreme Kai smirked at seeing him awake. "You finish this."
"Stay out of this, big boy," Dark glanced at Broly. "You'll just be in my way."
"I will save my friend and father," Broly looked at the two in his arms.
"Good. Don't distract me."
The Super Saiyan God and West supreme Kai moved toward each other, fists colliding in a powerful shockwave that cracked the buildings around them. Shockwaves emitted that reverberated outward, far beyond their reach.
On North Kai's planet
"What the hell is that?!" Beerus exclaimed, turning to look up. "That power is insane. It almost could be comparable to me."
"It seems your modesty lessons are paying off, my lord," Whis chuckled proudly. "But, it is troublesome. First I could swear I felt a bit of angelic power, but then I felt this power. My biggest question now is what Ōzaru could have possibly been training them to do. If she knows the secrets of Migate no Gokui, then she could be attempting to teach her secrets to a worthy pupil."
"She needs to stop meddling in others business. Giving me a bad rep."
"Is that because she could be training someone to surpass you?" Gine piped up. "You'd be super upset at that, huh?"
"Saiyans," Beerus sighed.
"Either way, it's troubling," Whis sighed. "That power I felt just now could shake the universe apart."
With Ōzaru
"So, you've come," The red furred Saiyan glanced behind her at the being clad in a Galactic Patrol uniform. "I honestly didn't think you would."
"We've known each other a long time," The being said, crossing his arms. "Now, what is it you want?"
"A bit of an analysis. You see, my pupil is beginning to unleash her true potential. A bit of angelic powers if you will."
"And this concerns me how?"
"You're the one with that knowledge, aren't you? So, I plan to bring either them or the manifestation of my own powers to the forefront. Is that power greater than my own."
"I don't know."
"You don't?"
"No one has ever mastered it fully, nor have you ever taken on one who has. Be sure to take note, however. I cannot stay long. There is someone I am watching."
"Take care, old friend. It was good seeing you again."
"You as well, Ōzaru."
"Be careful, Merus," Ōzaru smirked as the being left. "That old goat may need a bit of an angel's touch. But, of course we know you can't be the one to give it."
With Dark
West Supreme Kai and Dark continued to throw punches, their collisions continuing to shake the very universe. Broly held Paragus and Sonushi closely, shielding them. His eyes were still yellow and he was watching the fight intensely. Dark dodged a punch from West Supreme Kai, kicking her in the throat. She coughed, hacking and gulping air as Dark rushed forward.
"Shotgun!" She shouted, a pulse of Ki exploding from her fist as she made contact with the Kai. It collided with West Supreme Kai and shooting through her as she was punched by a powerful punch from Dark. She was flung into space, Dark following right behind her. Both fighters traded blows, trying to gain superiority.
The two continued their fight, West Supreme Kai firing a massive Ki blast straight for Dark. Dark caught it with one hand, pushing it back. She felt herself being pushed back, however.
"Your arrogance will be your downfall Sayain!" The Kai shouted, increasing the power of her blast. "I'm going to destroy you and the rest here!"
"If you really think I'm going to lose, you're sadly mistaken!" Dark held up both hands, still being pushed back against the blast. She reached the ground, her feet stopping her from crushing the ground around her. She managed to push the Ki blast up and away from the ground and herself.
"You know," Using Instant Transmission, she moved behind West Supreme Kai. "I only keep getting stronger as I'm in this form. You, on the other hand, keep getting weaker and weaker. How long is it until you're completely dead?"
"Once you're dead, then I will become stronger, mortal."
"Funny, you say that, but you're the one getting beat up."
"Funny you should say that."
As she spoke, West Supreme Kai's injuries began to heal up, the Kai smirking as she faced the Super Saiyan God.
"I have an advanced healing factor you wouldn't believe, Saiyan. It's near on par with immortality. Your allowing me to talk has given me enough time to heal myself."
"Good. I wanted to beat you down again and again. Finally, someone I can wail on with no regrets."
"Now, we're going to fight for real."
West Supreme Kai held up a giant ball, firing it at Goku Dark. The Super Saiyan God deflected it, punching her in the face. She countered with a blow to the Saiyan's gut. Dark coughed blood as she returned the blow with one of her own. She slammed a powerful fist into West Supreme Kai's face, knocking her back towards the planet.
The collision West Supreme Kai made cratered the planet, shaking it as Dark powered up her Ki.
"You'll face my power, mortal," The Kai righted herself after striking the planet hard. She held up her hand, Ki forming in it. She fired it straight at Dark, who just barely dodged it. The doppelganger continued to charge her Ki, the dark purple sphere gathering in her hand.
"KAAAAAAA," The blast began to pulse and pound, the energy it gave off beginning to shake the planet.
"You fool!" West Supreme Kai fired a blast at Dark once again. This blast hit her head on as she moved to intercept it, knocking her backwards.
"MEEEEEEEE" Dark grit her teeth, concentrating her Ki more powerfully.
"HAAAAAAAA" The planet cracked with the force of the Super Saiyan God's powers.
"MEEEEEEEE" West Supreme Kai began to summon her own Ki to aid her.
"HAAAAAAAA!" Dark unleashed her Kamehameha, the powerful beam dwarfing anything Goku or Chi-Chi had unleashed previously, fused or not. West Supreme Kai fired up a blast of her own, the beams colliding in midair.
"You fool!" West Supreme Kai exclaimed. "You can't defeat me!"
The two struggled for dominance with the power of their beams. The collision produced a sphere of white Ki bounding off of each other as their sources poured it out into them.
"Your power is false, Kai!" Dark exclaimed. "I am the true greatest force in this universe!"
"You're just a false copy of a true fighter who couldn't even stand up to me." West Supreme Kai countered.
"And you're following the mission of a dead fool!"
"I am that dead fool!"
"Then you'll burn like him!"
The two allowed their beams to collide further, still struggling for dominance. Neither could get a hit on the other, both being pushed back. However, Dark began to falter slightly. A beam suddenly struck her from behind. It distracted her for a split second, allowing West Supreme Kai to overtake her Kamehameha with her Ki.
Dark was struck, being sent upward into space. Bits of her body began to disintegrate as she was struck, flaking off as the dead being felt herself dying once again.
With Broly
The massive Saiyan looked at the smaller on lying unconscious in his arms. He shook her gently, trying to wake her. However, Cold stood there, taunting him.
"That poor fool isn't waking up. And, her clone should be dead as well."
"Be quiet," Broly spoke softly. "My friend is not dead. I don't want her to be."
"Well, then you'll be sorely disappointed. In fact, in no less than three minutes, I will destroy this planet and you along with it."
"You will not succeed."
"Perhaps not, but I will not be beaten. Fear my destructive might!"
Cold threw the sphere he was holding, the sphere tunneling straight to the ground to the planet's core.
"In five minutes, this planet will be history," He smirked. "I wonder what you'll do in five minutes."
In space
In the cold reaches of space, Dark finally freed herself of the beam, parts of her destroyed. She looked like a mangled mess as she floated through space. She was fading out of unconsciousness, feeling her life force ebbing away.
In her final moments, she thought of her own existence. It was ironic how much she became the opposite of what she was. She certainly wasn't good, but she wasn't quite evil. Savage, really. But, she had decided to enlist the help of Goku's friends, those who were her enemy. Selfish was she, but not heartless.
"I lost," The doppelganger thought. "How? Her power was so much greater than that
But, instead of the cold embrace of nonexistence, she felt something… odd. It began to surge through her and she felt her injuries mending almost as if they didn't exist. Her blinking eyes began to see red as she felt the power of the Super Saiyan God growing even further. Her power began pulsing as she felt herself becoming even stronger, her wounds fading completely. As her power began returning, she gave a bursting yell that shook even in the soundless void.
On the planet's surface, West Supreme Kai had landed to see Broly standing with Sonushi in his arms, Cold cackling as the giant crater at his feet dug further down.
"I've succeeded," West Supreme Kai said. "We've no need to worry about that pathetic doppelganger anymore. And with her gone, that one will fade as well."
"You hurt my friend," Broly said. "I will make you pay."
"Quiet, monkey. You do not address milady in such manner."
"It is quite alright, Cold. He has no way to escape. But, let's kill him anyway."
With pleasure, milady."
"Now, be quick or I—"
"Milady?"
West Supreme Kai turned to the heavens as she felt the huge surge of Ki that was exploding out from space.
"How is she—" The Kai was interrupted by the fist that slammed into her face with the force of a Saiyan.
"Looks like I wasn't kidding about my power," Dark said, repeatedly slamming her fists into West Supreme Kai's face as she punched her through the ground, straight to the core of the planet. "I'll destroy you bit by bit, you stupid false goddess!"
The doppelganger, power burning red as she continued her assault. However, West Supreme Kai grabbed her arms, smashing her head into Dark's. Dark was stunned, giving her the opportunity to slice into her with a blade made of Ki. Dark coughed up blood as she gasped for air.
"You have made a grave mistake," West Supreme Kai slid the knife further into Dark's chest. "I have tolerated your pathetic race and their threat to me long enough. When I stole that other Kai's body with my Potara fusion, I planned to enact my plan of destroying all mortals. I should have destroyed your ship when I had the chance. And, when I'm done with you, I'll kill those beings your other half calls friends."
She twisted the knife, watching as Dark convulsed and seemed to go limp. She smirked before a hand grabbed her wrist with the knife.
"You don't seem to get it, do you?" Dark's hand gripped West Supreme Kai's wrist, beginning to crush it. "I'm not as attached to them as Goku is, but I certainly won't let you leave this place alive. This is where the reign of West Supreme Kai ends."
The red aura surrounding Dark flared up even further as her power began to increase more and more. Her fist collided with West Supreme Kai's face, sending her backwards once again. The Ki blade slid out of Dark's body with the wound healing further. West Supreme Kai collided with the wall as Dark rushed forward, pulling back.
"Shotgun Punch!" Her fist collided with the Kai's gut, a pulse of Ki sending her shooting further into the ground. The two continued to fight, Dark landing a multitude more hits than West Supreme Kai.
"Enough!" The Kai shouted, a dark purple aura beginning to surround her. "My abilities are far beyond yours! I have summoned the powers of a powerful apprentice Kai I forced into a fusion with me. I'm sure your mentor knows who I'm talking about."
"Zamasu," Dark slammed a fist into West Supreme Kai's face, charging up her Ki for a powerful attack.
"Godly Dragon Fist!" she shouted, a crimson Ki dragon bursting forth from her punch as she rocketed forward at the Kai. The Kai crossed her arms to block the attack, but the dragon razed her, Dark's fist following it as both impacted the Kai. However, before the blow could fully connect, Cold struck the Super Saiyan God from behind, knocking her to the side.
"You would do well to mind your surroundings," He taunted the child Saiyan.
"You'd do well to learn your place!" Dark collided with cold in a kick that slammed him to the ground. Both rushed forward as West Supreme Kai joined. Dark continued to brawl with them, dodging and countering both of those who were opposing her. Eventually, however, they seemed to overpower her, Cold shooting a Death Beam through her chest.
"Foolish Saiyan. Should have just stayed away."
"Says the dead man." The wound healed as the doppelganger grabbed him by the face, kicking him in the throat. A blade of Ki surrounded her fist as she sliced his chest wide open. His blood spilled onto the ground as he coughed.
"Oh, you'll pay for that."
"And, who will make me?"
"You impudent swine!" West Supreme Kai roared, backhanding Dark. "I cannot believe that a worm such as you has pissed me off enough to make me reveal my full power to you, but I suppose you will now die."
"Just shut the hell up and fight," Dark stood up, the red glow surrounding her fading as she panted. "I'll break you."
She rushed for West Supreme Kai, a punch from the Kai slamming her back. However, Dark rushed forward, ducking around another punch and kneeing her in the gut. She slammed her fist in West Supreme Kai's face, Cold kicking her back.
"It seems as if you've lost." He picked her up by the throat, choking her with one hand and punching her in the gut. Dark coughed out blood.
"I won't lose to the likes of you." Dark glared at him. "I am a Saiyan."
"And there's that Saiyan pride I was waiting for." Cold said, punching her in the gut again. "I was waiting for that. It seems I'll have to break it like my son nearly did with Vegeta."
"Your head is mine." Dark said, concentrating her Ki as it burst forth in the purplish gold that was her Super Saiyan form, throwing Cold off of her. She punched him in the gut punching through his wound and the rest of his chest. She threw him off, firing a Ki blast at him that blew off one of his arms.
"How are you still so powerful?!" West Supreme Kai shouted as she punched Dark in the face. "Your transformation has run out!"
"And yet you still can't kill me!" Dark shouted, her power bursting forth as she slammed her fist into the Kai's face, smashing her into the wall around her. "I am Goku Dark, the strongest of all Saiyans!"
"You will die!" West Supreme Kai sliced for Dark with her Ki blade. Dark's aura flared up as she landed another powerful blow.
"You'll burn in hell!" Dark shouted. "You and Cold will both burn!"
"You will cease to exist when I am finished with you!" West Supreme Kai shouted.
"And when I kill you, I'll come to the other world and kill you for good!" Dark shouted back. Both rushed for each other, fists colliding with powerful results. The shockwaves were intense, shaking the dying planet around them. West Supreme Kai summoned a large Ki sphere, thrusting it towards Dark.
Dark began to push it with both hands, feeling them disintegrate once again as the blast rushed closer and closer. She strained as the massive ball of Ki continued to inch closer. She was being pushed down into the ground, the ball continuing to destroy her.
"Just give up already, mortal!" West Supreme Kai pushed the ball forward with her own Ki. "You've lost already!"
"I've not yet begun to fight you, false goddess!"
The doppelganger continued to push, her golden purple hair sparking with her power as she pushed forward. West Supreme Kai hit the sphere with a small Ki blast, which detonated the ball of Ki. Dark was caught in the explosion, being flung backward as she tried to resist it.
She suddenly felt something snap within her as the godly red Ki returned, her hair turning back to the brilliant crimson it was before, the transformation of Super Saiyan God returning to her.
A roar escaped from the Saiyan's lungs as her power skyrocketed even further. A powerful blow to West Supreme Kai's gut sent her flying as well. The doppelganger continued her attack, landing powerful, earth shattering blows on the Kai, bouncing her around like a pinball.
"I'm going to end this fight once and for all!" Dark charged up her Ki, kicking West Supreme Kai into the air. "Dragon Fist!"
For the second time, her Ki formed a crimson dragon, rushing for the Kai. This time, the Kai was stunned, unable to counter as the dragon ripped through her, Dark's fist following her. The dragon wrapped around them, razing her form above as she screamed in agony.
When the attack ceased, she was more a pile of ash, dropped to the ground and discarded. Dark moved over to Sonushi, Broly, and his father.
"We are leaving." She put a hand on Broly, who held the other two Saiyans. Putting two fingers to her head, she used Instant Transmission, vanishing from the planet. The planet shuddered and shook before exploding due to the intense battle waged upon it.
They all appeared on North Kai's planet, startling the beings gathered there.
"So, this is the legendary Super Saiyan God," Beerus scoffed. "I figured you'd be taller."
"Well, I figured you'd not be so ugly for a god, but I guess we're both wrong," Dark retorted, the feline god of destruction moving over to her as one of his eyes twitched.
"Care to repeat that, you little whelp?" He asked.
"Lord Beerus, I think you should calm down," Whis put a hand on his shoulder. "What have I taught you about letting your temper getting the best of you?"
"That I would only go overboard and do too much," Beerus rolled his eyes. "Whatever."
"My baby!" Gine grabbed both of the Saiyan children and held them. "I knew you'd survive safe and sound."
"Who's this big guy?" Bardock crossed his arms. "This must be the one Paragus fled with."
"I am Broly." Broly said, standing up, dwarfing Bardock and being even taller than Whis.
"My my, he's a big boy," Whis mused. "I would quite like to see how he can fight."
"I suppose this other Saiyan must be Paragus," Gine said. "He's older looking than I remember."
"We've been dead for over two decades," Bardock crossed his arms.
"Let me see this one," Beerus stood over Gine, pointing at the unconscious Sonushi.
"Over my dead body," Gine hissed.
"Why you little—" Whis gently knocked Beerus over the head.
"Manners, Lord Beerus," He gently chided. "It is her child she's been reunited with."
"I still can't believe a mere child has unlocked such power before I was able to."
"Well, if you wouldn't sleep for long periods of time, you wouldn't feel the same way."
"I like to sleep. It keeps me looking nice and sleek."
"And lazy."
"Not now, Whis."
"So, what are we going to do about that planet?"
"It's gone now." North Kai said. "It doesn't matter."
"However," Whis chimed in as Dark's transformation wore off. "It does concern me that there is a planet which I could not only not travel to, I could not sense its presence. It is only because this doppelganger sensed the incredible power of Migate no Gokui her progenitor gave off that we were able to know its location."
"Which is definitely cause for concern," Beerus said.
"I killed the bitch," Dark said. "What's the big deal?"
"I don't think it is so easy," Whis said. "After all, I learned something quite problematic when we were searching for the source of Migate no Gokui we had sensed. Something that will make her quite problematic to defeat."
"And that is?" North Kai asked.
"Wait you don't mean…" Gine asked, turning to the angel.
"Yes," Whis said. "Some time ago, on a very, very powerful set of Dragon Balls, the West Supreme Kai had made herself immortal."
Back on the remains of the Cold Planet
The pieces of the planet drifted apart from the force of the explosion, propelling whichever way they would go. They were shooting off, but one small bit of material remained behind. A small ashen husk.
However, the husk began to change, reanimating as it began to reform its flesh. Hair sprouted where it once was and organs filled in the space. Blood pumped through it, almost as if it hadn't left. The closed eyes slowly opened as the newly rejuvenated body of West Supreme Kai took a gasp for air.
Floating in the void of space, she looked down at her hands, chuckling as she once again realized the depth of her immortality. She laughed, seeing a pod that was floating nearby. She took this and another she saw floating away, using her Kai Kai to move to a new location.
She knew that she could make herself undiscoverable to even those who called themselves angels. It would be simple a matter of her becoming even more powerful so as to destroy them in one fell swoop.
