Chapter 50
Once they arrive at Quest Town, they see that the buildings are dark and that the valley is blocking the sunlight. Dawns says, "This place looks really creepy..."
"It sure is, but this place is for the Ghost Types who is roaming around the region." Ash says.
"Ghost Types?" Serena asks. "Does that mean there will be new Ghost Types that are going to haunt us?"
"Don't worry, you have to stop thinking like that and they won't hurt you." They see a boy and a girl walking towards them, along with Agatha, Morty, Phoebe, Fantina, Shauntal and Accerola.
"Golly, Shadow." Ash says as they greet them.
Golly sees them and says, "Mom? What are you doing here? You are traveling with Brother?" Golly asks.
"Well, first is that, and the second is that you are now an aunt now, Golly." Aurora says.
"What? You and Lillie have kids now?" Shadow asks.
"Yeah. Everyone, this is my sister Golly, and this is Shadow. Both of them are Gym Leaders of the Quest Town." Ash says.
"What? You are Ash's sister?" Bonnie asks in surprise. "This is so cool."
"I know. Brother is amazing if you know him well." Golly says as she looks at the two children in the cribs. "They are really cute as well. Oh that reminds me..."
She sends out a black colored Eeveelution with dark mist covering him, and the Pokemon goes to the kids and nuzzles them.
"Wow, is that another new Eeveelution?" Max scans the Pokemon.
Spookeon. The Black Mist Pokemon. Ghost Type. Evolved from Eevee by Level Up with a Ghost type in the team. Spookeon has black mist covering its body. When touching it without Spookeon's permission, the person or Pokemon will be scared easily.
"Spookeon has let the two kids touch him, so it is fine." Golly says.
"Golly, I want to ask you, where are the remains of Omaturn and Negachange?" Ash asks.
"What is Omaturn and Negachange?" Morty asks.
Shadow says, "Long story short, they are Pokemon that can destroy all Pokemon and humans. But we decide not to make them as we didn't put the soul inside. The remains are safe in the Distortion World, why do you ask?"
Ash says, "Well..."
"Distortion World I see." They gasp as they turn around, Zane is standing nearby a tree. "You sure gave me a great location."
"You!" Eve says. "Are you following us this whole time?"
Zane says, "Who knows, maybe I was sensed your aura when I was passing by and then I heard the news."
Golly says, "Who are you? And why do you want the bodies of the two destruction Pokemon?"
"The name is Zane, I want to create those two Pokemon, that is my, no, Team Terror's Goal." Zane says.
Aurora says, "You don't need to do it, Zane, no Red! Please!"
"Well if it isn't Aurora, It's been what? A lot of years, huh? It should be since you refused to help me." Zane says.
"This isn't you, Red! You are not the Red I know! The Red I love! Please stop this mess!" Aurora is about to cry.
"Shut up!" Red yells as he throws a Dark Pulse on Aurora, who falls down to the ground.
"Mom!" Ash, Mark and Golly yell as they rush to their mom. Zane says, "Don't you dare call my former name! I am not the weakling known as Red Ketchum! The name is Zane! The who shall bring destruction to the corrupted people and Pokemon!"
"He has the same last name as you?" Acerola asks the group.
Ash then stands up and says, "I won't let you do it, even if I am going to battle you, Dad!"
Golly says, "What? He is Dad?"
"He was Red?" Agatha asks Professor Oak, who nods. "But he was a strong trainer. What happened?"
"Long story short, after he lost to his wife in the Champion Battle, the crowd are booing him and it makes him fall into darkness." Oak says with a sigh.
Zane says, "Oh, you are going to battle me? Do you think you can win against me? You are a Champion doesn't mean that you can beat me in this cold reality."
"That's why I won't give up." Ash yells as he takes out two Pokeballs.
"You sure need to learn it the hard way. Decidueye, Gengar, teach him a lesson." As the two Pokemon appears on the field, Ash says, "Infernape, Greninja, I choose you."
As the two Pokemon appears on the field, Infernape has a Ghoul Mask on its face and the body is purple with blue flames. And Greninja is now a purple like frog with a white tongue. It has wings that is green and creepy on its back.
"Infernape?" Dawn asks in shock. "And Greninja?" Bonnie asks the same.
Chimchar Sevestar Form, the Chimp Pokemon. Ghost Type. It uses the anger from spirits as fuel to its ghostly fire. Even rain can't extinguish the fire.
Monferno Sevestar Form, the Playful Pokemon. Ghost and Psychic Type. Evolved from Chimchar at LV 14. It uses ceilings and walls to launch aerial attacks. Its ghostly tail is but one weapon.
Infernape Sevestar Form, the Ghoul Pokemon. Ghost and Psychic Type. Evolved from Monferno at LV 36. With the ghost powers, it can uses them into psychic powers to toss the enemies far and near.
Froakie Sevestar Form. The Mist Frog Pokemon. Ghost Type. It controls the ghostly mists as Frubbles to protect itself from danger, it also uses it as a weapon to absorb life energy.
Frogadier Sevestar Form. The Mist Frog Pokemon. Ghost Type. Evolved from Froakie at LV 16. Its mist like Fubbles can suck energy from others, and its speed is so fast that it can scale a tower of more than 2,000 feet in a minute's time.
Greninja Sevestar Form. The Ninja Pokemon. Ghost and Flying Type. Evolved from Frogadier at LV 36. It has demonic wings that can help him move fast. And when it uses its tongue to touch the prey, the prey will have their life energy sucked.
"Infernape and Greninja, huh?" Zane says, "Consider that they are your aces in the Sinnoh and Kalos Region, but yet you lose those two leagues then."
"I am stronger than before. And I will show you. Greninja, let's do it!" Ash and Greninja raise their hands and Greninja is covered in Purple mist, once it is over, Greninja is red and has the purple shuriken on the back.
"Ash-Greninja!" Serena gasps.
"So that is the Greninja that has the special form?" Oak asks as they nod.
"Yes, it also defeats my Dad's Abomasnow in the end." Eve says.
Infernape uses Psyshock to hit Gengar, who has dodged into the Shadows in order to use Phantom Force. Infernape dodges by using Teleport. As for Greninja, it uses Aerial Ace to hit Decidueye, but Decidueye uses Spirit Shackle to dodge the attack.
"Gengar, show your darkness to the enemy, Mega Evolve." Zane presses the Key Stone and it starts to change form, then it uses Sludge Bomb, causing Infernape to get poisoned. But Infernape uses Shadow Punch, given the Gengar a lot of damage.
"Hypnosis!" Ash yells as the Gengar is asleep. Then Infernape uses Dream Eater, which causes a lot of damage. Greninja uses Hurricane, causing the Decidueye to get dragged inside.
Zane sees that his Pokemon is getting weaker and weaker, he says, "I won't let you guys being hurt anymore. Decidueye." Zane takes out the Z Ring and then it starts to do the move. Ash gasps as they see the Z pose.
"Is he going to?" Accerola gasps.
"Sinister Arrow Raid!" Just then, the arrows are shooting across the field, and Infernape and Greninja are down on the floor, Ash, who can also feel the pain from Greninja, is also on the floor.
"Ash, are you alright?" Lillie rushes towards Ash, as he is struggling to get up.
Aurora says, "That is enough, Red! Are you really going to hurt our son like this?"
"He has to learn the hard way, Delia." Zane says. "Life is not always fair. You have seen him as well, how those people wanting Ash to quit his dream as a trainer. Even it is for something big, they don't have to do that."
Aurora doesn't know how to retort, since it is true. Zane recalls his Pokemon and says, "Besides, I already got what I wanted. So there is no point for staying here for longer."
As he is about to leave, Ash yells, "Don't go, Dad! The match isn't over..." But Ash faints as the group tries to wake him up. Zane just turns around and says, "It is already over than you think." Then he leaves.
A good way to start the chapter, Ash lost to his father for the first time. And even though he uses Infernape and Greninja, it is still no match for him. I hope you understand since it is vital for the story to continue.
