It had been a few hours since Dr. Charles was busy with Brian's sneakers that had broken the soles and the boy from the museum waited for them to finish them, Erika was still fixing the portal so that it could work perfectly, however, and due to the last 2 uses, the portal sometimes failed.

Erika: "It can't be, I thought it was going to work, what am I failing?" –She told herself.

Brian realized this and went to Erika to see what was failing, he was not a science expert, but he understood a little and analyzed the portal.

Brian: "Well, if it doesn't work in a small oval circle, you should create with a bracelet or something" –he said.

Erika watched him for a few seconds and she began to think about it, maybe he could be right and Erika took out a notebook while pointing some things already used and new to the portal.

Erika: "Let's see, if I put this on and add that, the result would be… THAT IS IT! Brian, you're a genius" –she said, raising her voice.

The boy from the museum looked at her somewhat confused and received an unexpected hug from the scientific girl for a few seconds until she released him.

Erika: "With what you've told me, I can really make the portal work" –she said as she moved away.

And as he predicted, Brian was absolutely alone in the laboratory and had nothing to do.

Brian: "Damn it, I think I should do something to take advantage of time" –he said as he watched the stairs.

Brian observed that the stairs were too high to reach the house and took advantage of using some of his power, just for his own advantage.

Brian: "Well, let's do this" –he said as he prepared his legs.

With a single movement, the boy from the museum ran very fast until he reached the room in 5 seconds.

Brian: "Perfect, now I have to look for something to put my feet on" –he said as he walked to Dr. Charles's room.

Upon entering, he observe that it was a normal room that any older person had, something that did not surprise him because he compared it with that of his parents. Brian bent down to see something under the bed so he would put on his feet and found yellow sandals and he put it on.

Brian: "Perfect, now I have to get out of here for a while. But first I will have to take off my sweatshirt so that no one recognizes me" –he told himself.

The boy from the museum took off his blue sweatshirt and looked in the closet for a dark jacket with a hood and put it on instantly, although it was a little big. He ran into the living room and left his blue sweatshirt on the sofa as he left the house and watched the street that seemed very normal.

Brian: "Well, look at what's in Oakland" –he said as he walked to the left side of the street.

Sven covered herself up in the garden of the woman's house with a long braid, trying the best not to get the woman's attention and he watched discreetly in the kitchen window and observed that the woman was preparing something.

Sven: "Let's see, she's cooking, but she must have the boy in her house" –he told himself.

At that moment, Sven managed to hear the sound of a cell phone and the woman took it and answered the call.

?: "Hi Erika ... really? ... that's good ... What? ... Brian is not with you ... "

Sven: "Wait a minute, that's the boy's name, that means he's not here" –he told himself as he kept listening from outside.

?: "Ok, I'll go to Oakland as quickly as possible, but first I have to feed Ben ... good, bye"

Sven: "Oakland ... now I know where the boy is, I must follow that woman" –he said while hiding.

After a few minutes, Sven watched the woman leave her house and get into her car while she started and went to Oakland, the Swiss had to think of something and watched a taxi approach and he got on the track and stopped the Taxi and approached the driver with a laser gun.

Sven: "Give me the car and you won't get hurt or dead" –he said with an annoyed expression.

The driver said nothing and got out of the car and Sven got in and started to start the car while following the woman's car with a long braid.

Sven: "Perfect, now take me to the boy" –he said as he smiled wickedly.

Brian walked slowly as he watched the people walking around him and nobody recognized him, which eased him a little, he thought everyone had already forgotten about the desert base incident and he began to walk slowly and in one of the walls began to observe an old Overwatch poster almost broken with one of the known heroes and another poster with Tracer, which the boy from the museum made him remember something.

The world needs more heroes

Brian shook his head and began to walk until something stopped him for a few seconds, a thief was threatening a woman with a baby in her arms, the thief demanded her wallet and the woman was opposed to that. The boy from the museum watched that angrily and wanted to do something, but he couldn't risk using his power, but if he didn't, a tragedy would happen.

Brian: "Fuck, I have to do something" –he said to himself angrily.

The bluish sparks began to come out on his own and Brian didn't think about it and started running, however, at the time of doing so, he observed that time was moving very slowly and he was the only one who could move without any problem.

Brian: "This is ... very crazy" –he said as he approached the thief.

With a few movements, he took the gun and gave him a few blows and took him to a police car that was just nearby and the boy from the museum jumped on the car and put the thief in the air and Brian immediately left there and it was hiding somewhere else and time began to be as before. The thief fell on the police car and 3 policemen left to observe what happened and the woman also observed what had happened.

Brian: "Well, I think it's done what he had to do" –he said to himself as he walked the other way.

The boy from the museum walked around the place and remembered that he had to go back to Dr. Charles's house in case his sneakers were ready.

Brian: "I must return immediately" –he said as he went to another address.

After a walk, Brian returned to Dr. Charles's house and he observed that no one was outside, which eased him a little.

Brian: "Perfect, now I must ..."

However, he noticed that a car was approaching at full speed and brake until it parked in the house and Brian observed Barbara who had a somewhat annoying expression.

Brian: "Shit, I think them already noticed" –he said as he sighed slightly.

Barbara approached Brian to find out why he had left the house.

Barbara: "Brian, you can tell me why you left the house" –she said.

Brian: "I don't know, I just wanted to observe the place instead of being like a laboratory rat" –he replied.

Barbara: "But someone would have recognized you"

Brian: "But nobody has done it"

Barbara sighed slightly as she watched Brian for a few seconds, she was arguing with a grumpy teenager.

Barbara: "I really don't know what I have to do with you"

Brian: "I have your answer, nothing. I live my life my way"

Barbara: "Really? and tell me, if we hadn't met at the bakery, what would have happened to you?"

Brian: "I wasn't going to stay in El Dorado for a long time, sooner or later I had to leave the place" –he said in protest.

Barbara: "And where the hell would you go?"

Brian: "To any state in Mexico or I don't know" –he said, crossing his arms.

Barbara was rubbing her forehead annoyingly while looking at Brian, it was really annoying trying to talk to a teenager who made his whims alone.

Brian: "Besides, I already knew how to get ahead in the streets"

From there, Barbara started listening to him.

Brian: "I have known what the streets are like, both day and night, I have seen people living in the street and their customs, so to speak, I have survived any street gang after the museum"

From there, Barbara wanted to know what Brian said about the museum he had mentioned and Brian told her the events that happened there. Barbara listened carefully to everything Brian said and she remembered that she had seen that in a piece of news, only that she did not give it any importance.

Brian: "I think they fired the security man or I don't know" –he said.

Barbara: "Ok, we must enter the house" –she said as she approached the door.

Brian: * Uff * "Okay" –he said.

They both entered the house and Barbara closed the door while, elsewhere, Sven looked at the house where they had gone.

Sven: "Well, the location of the boy is ready, it is time to elaborate with the plan" –he said while taking out his cell phone to call Dr. Psiquio.
