Chapter 36: Coming Together Part 2

Back with Weiss and Uzziel…

The cargo ship has crashed in a forest. Weiss is lying injured on the ground with clothes dirtied as two bandits approach her.

"Help... please." She said

"What do you think?" The bandit asked.

Weiss looks to the bandits left to see Raven walking towards her to take a position between the two bandits and directly above Weiss.

"I think... we just hit the jackpot." She said

As this was going on Uzziel crawled out of the ship through the broken windshield. You could see that he was hurt by his movements. He slowly tried to stand and looked to his right to see Raven and her bandits standing over Weiss.

Weiss' face turns to one of concern as she looks up at Raven, who stomps on her face, causing her to lose consciousness. Uzziel's growled and was about to charge at her but quickly lost consciousness and fell to the ground.

Back with Regulus and the others...

Oscar Pine is seen sitting on a red armchair, nervously looking at everyone around him as they fawn over him.

"Did he age backward?" Nora asked.

"He's possessed!" Jaune and Arrossire exclaimed in unison.

"Or reincarnated!" Ren said stating the obvious.

"Oh! Isn't it weird? Ruby Asked.

Oscar nodded, "It is very weird, yes."

"Okay, okay. Let's all just take a second and remember that this is very overwhelming for everyone." Qrow said as he emerges from the kitchen holding a cup in his hand.

Team RNJR all step back together and nervously chuckles.

"Thanks," Oscar said as he looked at Qrow who nodded.

Qrow then takes a seat on the couch next to Oscar, Dyna, and Estelle. Ruby, Midori, Arrietty, and Nora have taken a seat on the couch perpendicular to Qrow's, while Jaune, Arrossire Roy, Regulus, and Ren remain standing. Oscar then shares a brief look with Ruby, who giggles, causing Oscar to blush.

"Ah, sorry!" He says as he briefly looks away. "It's just I've never really met Huntsmen and Huntresses before," Oscar stated as he scratched the back of his head.

"Well, uh... we've never met a person with two souls! So, first times all around." Ruby joked.

Oscar smiles and chuckles at Ruby before he hears Qrow clear his throat.

"Not to break up the whole 'getting-to-know-you' game, but we need to have a talk. Mind showing us your little parlor trick, kid? Dyna looks like she's getting impatient." Qrow said as he looked at Dyna who had her arms crossed and tapping her finger on her arm.

"Yeah, okay." Oscar groans "Just so you know, I'll still be here."

Everyone looks at him in confusion. Oscar then lowers his head and closes his eyes. Suddenly, a green and white aura shines from his body for a moment, Oscar opens up his eyes, which are now glowing, and he smiles. When he speaks, they all hear a familiar voice overlapping with a bunch of other voices, including Oscar's.

"It is so very good to see you again, students."

Everyone shares a brief looks of confusion. "Wait, what just happened?" Regulus asked.

"Professor... Ozpin?" Estelle called out.

"Correct. And though I may be the one speaking, Oscar is still present mentally. He's merely handed over the control, so to speak." Ozpin explained.

"Just don't make us do anything embarrassing…" Oscar said mentally.

"I'm afraid this all must be very perplexing," Ozpin said as he looked around.

Arrietty nodded and sighed "And alarming, and bizarre, and just really kind of hard to believe overall!"

Ozpin chuckled "It's good to see you children still have your sense of humor." He joked before frowning. "I know you've all been through tremendous hardship already. I'm sorry."

"I mean, it's not your fault," Arrossire said.

Ozpin shook his head at Arrossire "It's all my fault." As he continues to speak, Qrow gets up and goes back to the kitchen to get something "I told you once that I made more mistakes than any man, woman, and child on this planet, and I wasn't exaggerating. I'm... cursed. For thousands of years, I've walked the surface of Remnant, living, dying, and reincarnating in the body of a like-minded soul. The Professor Ozpin you all met was not my first form and clearly wasn't my last. It's... an extraordinarily strenuous process on everyone involved." Ozpin explained.

"So who... what... are you?" Regulus said as he raised his eyebrow.

"I am the combination of countless men who've spent their lives trying to protect the people of Remnant." Qrow walks back into the room and hands him a cup of tea. "With every rebirth, my soul is eventually merged with another and I am changed, but my memories stay with me. This curse was bestowed upon me by the gods because I failed to stop Salem in the past. But we must stop her now."

Midori and Regulus looked at each other before looking back at Ozpin "And how do we do that?" She asked.

"We start... by ensuring the safety of the Relic of Knowledge." He replied.

Now later that night…..

Uzziel had awoken from his unconsciousness and was seen walking in the forest with an unpleasant expression on his face. He stopped and looked around his surroundings knowing it was completely dark and the only light he had was the moonlight. Uzziel growled for a moment but quickly took a deep breath and closed his eyes, calming himself down.

He then looked back at the ship behind him that was lying on the ground destroyed. He then looked at the ground in front of him and got down on one knee "She was lying here when we landed." He said to himself.

Red aura suddenly appeared around his body, taking the shape of a dog. He leaned towards the ground, closed his eyes and started sniffing. A moment later he lifted his head up and started sniffing more before his eyes snapped open and he looked to his left. "It's faint but I'm picking up her scent. Yeah… that's definitely her scent." He said as he dashed off following the scent he picked up.

The next day...

Yang was riding Bumblebee with the Shady Man through a forest in Anima while Lance was using his semblance to double his speed and keep up with her on foot. "How much further, pal?" She asked.

"This should just about do it." The Shady man responded.

Yang stops her bike at a clearing, while Lance stops running. "You wait here. I'll go up ahead and make sure the coast is clear." The man said.

He dismounts from the bike and runs into the bushes. Yang shakes her head in annoyance and discards her sunglasses, sleeve and coat tails before stretching a little. She then looks over at Lance who was breathing slightly heavy "Are you okay Lance?" She asked in a worried tone.

"Yeah, I'm good." He responded trying to calm his breathing down.

Yang was about to walk over to him until suddenly, someone pulls the trigger of a gun and Yang blocks the shot with her arm. The Shady Man reappears with several bandits in tow.

"I can't believe you were dumb enough to let me lead you here." The man said as he looked at Yang and Lance.

The bandits present all have their weapons drawn at Yang and Lance who didn't look fazed at all. "Is this everyone?" Yang asked.

The man started to chuckle "Yes, little lady. This is it. Well, unless you count the whole rest of the camp back that way." He said as he gestures behind him with his thumb. Yang points a finger in the same direction.

"That way?" She asked.

"Yes. That way." The man said grunting in confusion and looking at his tribemates first.

"Good to know. Thanks." She replied, while Lance shook his head and chuckled.

"Now to pay me back for this tooth, we're going to take your bike. And you're going to take your lumps." The man said as he punches his fist and looks at Lance.

Yang engages Ember Celica on her left arm. The bandits get cautious and keep their weapons trained on her.

Lance grabbed the hilt of his sword until Yang put a hand on his forearm. He looked at her and raised an eyebrow "You ran all the way here while using your semblance. Take a breather and rest I can handle this." She said.

Lance was about to object but knew she was right. He was exhausted and using his semblance took a toll on him. Lance smirked, "As you wish my lady." He teased as he bowed and stepped back. Yang smirked at him before turning back to the man and his gang and glared at them.

The man pointed his gun at Yang and smirked. "You got the jump on me last time, sweetheart. But you really ought to think twice about fighting all—"

He cuts off when Yang engages the gun on her robotic arm. The rest of the bandits gasp.

"Alright... Get her!" He said as he started to get nervous.

Yang walked over to them and put her guards up and attacked the first person in front of her, giving him two punches to the face and then one to the stomach before spinning around and tripping them in the process and then elbowed him to the ground.

Another man came from behind her with a machete in hand and was about to strike her until she did a backflip and caught the weapon with her leg and brought it to the ground. She then spun around and backhand the man and then spun around again and kicked the man and sent him flying.

The five remaining fighters started shooting at her which she managed to block with her robot arm. She then ran forward and quickly jumped into the air and landed on one of the fighters with her feet kicking them and sending them flying while also pressing off of them and backflipping into the air.

As she landed in front of the three remaining she spun around on the ground in a breakdancing fashion and kicking them all. She then stepped on the shady man's foot and then uppercutting him making him fall to the ground. The three-team members ran behind Yang which she quickly spun around and kicked them all.

They all tried to attack her again but Yang was blocking and dodging while sending in jabs of her own. The shady man picked up his gun and shot at Yang which she dodged and looked at him with an angry expression.

She turned her body towards him and backhanded the two of his teammates that tried to attack her from behind and shot at the ground with her weapon which sent her dashing towards him. When she made it towards him she shot the ground again and flipped over him before landing on the ground and giving him a hard punch to the face. The punch sent him flying into one of his team members.

After the fight, Yang's left hand is shaking once again, but she calms herself down before walking back to her motorcycle. Lance looked around and whistled as he shook his head "I would say I feel sorry, but I'd be lying." He stated.

The shady man started coughing as he struggles to get up "Who are you? It doesn't even matter. When Raven finds out what you did, you're dead!"

Yang smirked at him "Possibly. But I doubt it. I am her daughter, after all."

The man's eyes went wide as he heard what Yang had said. "I'm dead." He said in fear. The Shady Man falls to the ground which made Lance chuckle.

Ten minutes later Yang and Lance finally enter the camp, escorted by a few bruised bandits who Yang had roughed up earlier. She notices more bandits lining up along the path, giving angry glares at her. Vernal steps out of her tent to see what the commotion is about. The two bandits guarding Weiss Schnee are playing cards with each other, before joining the rest of their tribe to see Yang and Lance walk in. Weiss who was put in a cage notices this and summons a small Arma Gigas, who begins to get to work on freeing her from her confinement. Yang, Lance, and their escorts arrive at the camp's main tent. Raven emerges from it with her mask on.

"Mom," Yang said with a slight annoyance in her voice.

Lance looked at Raven and looked impressed "So this is your mom?" he asked. Yang kept her eyes on Raven but nodded to his question.

"Yang," Raven replied as he removed her mask smiling. "So, after all this time you finally decided to visit me."

Yang feels her left hand shaking once again, but she uses her robotic hand to calm it down. "You know that I searched for you. I spent years looking for you." Yang stated.

Raven smiled at her daughter "And you've found me. You were patient, determined, and strong enough to make your dream a reality. Well done, Yang. But did you have to be so rough with my men?" She asked as her smile turned into a smirk.

"I didn't want a fight. They started it." Yang responded.

"Well, you certainly finished it," Raven said as she looked at her beaten up allies.

Lance watched on as Yang talks to her mother, figuring it was best to let her handle this situation. "Right. I'm sure this is all very overwhelming. But I must admit that you've proven yourself. So any questions you have I'll be happy to answer. You and your friend can stay with us tonight. I'll even have the cooks whip up something for you." Raven offered.

"That's not why I am here," Yang said bluntly.

The bandits react to Yang's irreverence. "What was that?" Raven asked as she gave her daughter a disapproving look.

"I'm not here for you. Ruby is somewhere in Mistral. She's with Qrow, and she's going to need my help. I just need you to take me to her." Yang said which made Raven close her eyes for a moment.

She then opened her eyes and looked at Yang "And why would I do that?" She asked as she slowly started pacing the floor.

"Because we're family," Yang said while pressing her hands to her heart and smiling, trying to look loving to her mother.

Raven scowls and mutters "Family. Only coming around when they need something." She then started projecting again "I have to say, I'm disappointed. After all, you found me, didn't you? Why not take that drive and use it to find your little sister if she means that much to you?"

"Because you're going to save me time. Ruby was heading to Mistral, but there's no guarantee she's made it there. Looking for her in Anima could take ages. But... Dad told me how your Semblance works." Yang said with a smirk on her face.

"Tai…" Raven muttered under her breath.

"You can bond to certain people. And when you do, you could create a portal that takes you straight to them. You've got one for Dad. One for me. And you've got one for Qrow. He promised me he'd watch out for Ruby before he left. And I trust him. So, make a portal to my uncle and sister, and I'll be on my way." Yang ordered, crossing her arms.

Raven sighed and then started pacing the floors again "You know, it takes real strength to march in here and demand such favor of me. I've got to say, I'm impressed. It's very noble to want to help out your sister. But if she's with Qrow, then she's already a lost cause."

"What does that mean?" Yang asked as she tilted her head.

"You don't want to get mixed up in all of that, Yang. Ozpin is not the man you think he is. And Qrow is a fool for trusting him. I would know, I trusted him once, too." Raven said.

"I don't care what you think!" Yang exclaimed while balling up her fist.

Vernal, holding Myrtenaster, looks on disdainfully, and places her right hand on her hip. "Your choice is your own. All I'm suggesting is that instead of getting wrapped up in something too big for you, for any of us, that maybe you take a moment to wonder if you're already where you belong." Raven said.

"Save your breath. You can spout off whatever you want, but nothing is going to keep me from my sister." Yang stated.

"Well, aren't you stubborn," Raven said rather quickly.

"I get it from my mom." Yang quickly replied.

Lance put his fist into his other hand while his eyes widened "So that's where you get it from." He said with excitement as if he had just solved a big case.

"Not now." Yang scolded, knowing he was trying to make light of the matter.

"Well, if that's how you feel, then it sounds like we're done here. Take her away." Raven turned around and started walking back into her tent. The bandits surround and begin to move in on Yang and Lance. Yang sees this, before turning her head back to Raven.

"Did you not hear me?" Yang asked in an angry tone. Raven turns back around before she can enter her tent. "I said send me to Qrow, damn it!" Yang exclaims as her eyes turn red as she spouts her last statement.

"That's enough! You watch your mouth in front of our leader!" One bandit says as some of the bandits tense up behind him.

"Make me," Yang ordered. Lance didn't bother to move or defend himself because he knew what was about to happen next "They never learn." He said to himself as he shook his head.

The Bandit tries to attack Yang, but she dodges and punches the Bandit into a tent, revealing Weiss in her cage.

"Yang? Lance?" Weiss asked in disbelief.

"Weiss?" Both Yang and Lance said in unison.

Everyone else present is surprised that the three of them know each other.

"Alright, well, subtlety is out," Weiss said to herself.

Weiss turns to her miniature Arma Gigas and makes it grow, destroying the cage in the process. She quickly makes her way towards Yang and Lance, with the now giant Arma Gigas following close behind.

"What is that?" Yang asked.

"Don't worry about it. What are both of you doing here?" Weiss asked.

"Well, that's my mom and she can take us to Ruby," Yang said, gesturing to Raven.

"Ugh," Raven said in an annoyed tone, giving a Weiss a look of pure annoyance.

"Your mom kidnapped me?!" Weiss asked incredulously.

Yang's eyes widened as she heard Weiss and looked art Raven "You kidnapped her?!"

"RAVEN!"

Everyone turns to look at the sky to see Uzziel flying in the sky with his semblance taking on the form of a dragon. He quickly lands on the ground in front of Weiss, Yang, and Lance and keeps his eyes on Raven, glaring at her.

"How dare you kidnap Weiss and think that I wouldn't find you!" Uzziel exclaimed in pure anger.

"I figured if Weiss was here, then you had to be somewhere close," Lance stated, with a smirk on his face.

Raven's eyes widened as she noticed the form Uzziel was taking with his semblance "So much power. Just like his sister." She said to herself.

"Uzziel!" Weiss called out, showing that she was relieved to see that he was okay. Uzziel smiled at her and then quickly averted his eyes back to Raven.

"Wait you know my mom?" Yang asked.

"She's your mom?" Uzziel asked in shock.

Before they could continue talking, they noticed that the bandits were making a move. Weiss, Lance, Uzziel, and Yang run to fight the bandits, but a lightning bolt appears, summoned by Vernal, stopping the fight before it starts.

"Enough!" Vernal yelled, echoing throughout the area.

"Thank you," Raven said to Vernal before looking at everyone else. "If you people don't keep it together this place will be crawling with Grimm."

Raven then turned her attention back to Vernal and spoke: "Give the girl her weapon back." She ordered. Vernal looks surprised at the command, then tosses Myrtenaster to Weiss.

"The four of you. In my tent. Now." She ordered in a stern and motherly tone.

"Why?" Yang asked just as sternly.

"If you're really going after your sister, then you need to know the truth. All of you do." Raven replied.

Raven enters her tent and the bandits go back to their own businesses. Weiss places her hand on her chest in relief. Yang looked at her and took a moment before speaking "Sorry about-" Suddenly, Weiss drops Myrtenaster and strongly hugs Yang.

"I missed you so much." Weiss held Yang tight, not wanting to let her go, showing that she genuinely missed her.

Yang smiled "I've missed you, too." She replied. Yang puts her hand on the back of Weiss' head and hugs back as her summoning disappeared. Uzziel and Lance look at one another and smile, high fiving each other and then looking back at Weiss and Yang having their moment.

Five minutes later...

Inside Raven's tent, Vernal pours cups of tea for Raven, Yang, Weiss, Lance, and Uzziel. They were all seated around a table waiting for Raven to speak.

"You can wait outside. Thank you." Raven said as she looked at Vernal.

Vernal nods and does what she is told. Yang clears her throat and speaks "So, what's the 'truth'?" She asked.

"You know, it's better when it's hot," Raven said as she takes a sip from her cup.

"You know, you're really obnoxious," Weiss stated bluntly

Raven narrowed her eyes at Weiss before looking back at Yang "The truth is that "truth" is hard to come by. A story of victory for one person is a story of defeat for someone else. By now, your uncle has surely told Ruby and her friends plenty of stories."

"Well, he's never given me a reason to doubt him before," Yang said

"That doesn't mean those reasons don't exist." Raven retorted, Yang glares at her. "You know, you and your teammates might as well be the poster children for the Huntsman academies. Your motives vary, but you all enrolled to try and make the world a better place. It's adorable." Raven laughed as she looks at her cup.

"It's what Huntsmen and Huntresses do," Lance spoke up which made Raven look at him.

"Not all of them. Some people are just in it for the money and the fame, but there's even more that are just looking to grow stronger." She then turned her attention back to Yang. "Your Uncle Qrow and I didn't attend Beacon to become Huntsmen, we did it to learn how to kill Huntsmen."

Yang, Weiss, Lance, and Uzziel gasp at this, exchanging a brief look with each other.

"Daddy and Uncle left that part out, hm?" Raven begins to pour more tea for herself and then sits the pot of tea on the table.

"Aside from the Grimm, Huntsmen were the only ones capable of ruining our raids and hunting us down. Our tribe needed a counterforce." Raven pauses as she takes another sip. "And Qrow and I were the perfect age."

Raven then stood up but kept her eyes on them. "The entrance exams were child's play compared to what we'd already been through. We were good. So good, that we caught the attention of Beacon's very own headmaster, Professor Ozpin. Even after we were put on a team, I could tell he was keeping his eye on us. Back then, I thought it was because he knew, but it was Team STRQ he was interested in." She said.

"What do you mean by that?" Yang asked.

Raven slowly started to pace the floor as she spoke "Constant attention, extra training missions, turning a blind eye whenever we happened to break the rules and get into more trouble than we should've. Sound familiar?" Raven asked as she stopped to look at them.

The four share another glance at each other. Weiss gestures Yang to keep going. "What's your point?" Yang asked.

"How much do you know about Professor Ozpin? About his past?" Raven asked.

"He was... a prodigy. One of the youngest headmasters to be appointed to a school." Uzziel spoke up.

"Because that's how he planned it. Because the man you know as Ozpin designed those schools and has followers inside every academy on Remnant that are loyal to him and no one else…" Raven paused and looked at Uzziel "Like your mother and father."

Uzziel's eyes widened which Raven noticed and let out a sigh "Your uncle Jarvin claims he cares about you and your sister… but he decided to keep that information from you I see. Your mother and father were enrolled in Atlas Academy, but they were following orders from Ozpin. Your sister is another prime example… she's on a mission that he ordered her to go on. I think it's foolish but your sister is very stubborn." She explained.

Before Uzziel could speak, Yang chimed in "That doesn't make any sense! How could he have...? No. Why would someone even do that?" She asked.

"Because old man Oz has a great and terrible secret. One that could spread fear across the world. One that he eventually entrusted to all of us, and once I knew, there was no going back. I needed to know more, but with every new discovery I made, the more horrifying the world became." She said as she looked at her cup.

Yang crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at her mother. "Okay, then tell us. What's the big secret? What's so crazy that the rest of us don't know?"

"The Creatures of Grimm... have a master named Salem. She can't be stopped, she can't be reasoned with, and she will not rest until humanity crumbles at her feet." As she speaks, Weiss, Uzziel, Lance and Yang's eyes widen more and more. They sit in silence.

"What?" Weiss asked, in a surprised tone.

"You know, you all haven't even touched your tea," Raven said as she sips her own.

"Stop stalling Raven," Uzziel said which made Raven look at him.

"Well, aren't you feisty. You were so well mannered as a child." She said as she smirked at him.

"How do you even know each other?" Yang asked as she looked at Uzziel.

Uzziel kept his eyes on Raven as he began to speak "Your mom and my mom were best friends. When I was a kid she would visit my mom from time to time. But I didn't know she was your mother." He explained.

"Yes, your mother was my best friend. It's a shame what happened to her and your father." Raven said as she closed her eyes.

Raven takes another sip from her teacup, while Yang stands up.

"Why should we believe any of this?" Yang asked, looking at her mother.

"Now you're catching on. So far you've done nothing but accept what others tell you." She puts her cup down and looks back at Yang. "But you need to question everything."

The four stare at each other face to face, before Raven, turns around. "Otherwise you'll end up just as blind as Qrow… Jarvin…" She started as Yang grits her teeth, and her eyes narrow, seething "... and your fool of a father." Raven finished.

A shot from Ember Celica is heard, destroying the table. Raven's empty teacup clatters across the floor, stopping when it hits the heel of her boot. Raven looks toward Yang, faintly smiling. Yang's eyes have turned red.

"Don't you dare talk about my family like that!" She exclaimed.

While Yang speaks, Weiss stares up at her wide-eyed and flinches when she raises her voice for emphasis. A weapon is heard being drawn at Yang.

"You need to calm down," Vernal said, standing behind them with her weapon aimed at Yang.

Lance stood up and put a hand on Yang's shoulder "Calm down Yang, remember what your father said." He said in a gentle voice, trying to calm Yang down.

"Listen to your friend, Yang. Your friends never let you down before." Raven said.

"You don't know the first thing about my friends! About me! You were never there! You LEFT US!" Yang yelled as her eyes then turn back to normal. "Why?!" She asked as she hangs her head in sadness.

"I know more than you realize. Not just about you, and not just what I've been told, but things I've seen with my own eyes. I know the Grimm have a leader, I know people who can come back from the dead, I know that magic is real, and I can prove it." Weiss and Uzziel stand up, while Raven continues addressing her daughter.

"You said Tai told you all about my Semblance." She said before she pauses for a moment. Vernal lowers her weapon while Raven heads toward the back exit of her tent.

"Well, I doubt he ever told you what Oz did to my brother and me." Raven exits her tent. Yang, Lance, Uzziel and Weiss exchange confused looks.

"Go see for yourself." Vernal said as she leaves the tent as well. The four of them take her advice and exit the tent. They see no one there.

"Mom?" Yang called out.

"Yang, are you okay?" Weiss said as she looks at her friend.

"I'll be fine once we can get her to take us to Ruby." Yang quickly responds.

Weiss relents while Yang continues to look around. " It's okay if... you're not okay," Weiss stated as she puts a hand on Yang's.

Yang turned to look at her "You didn't believe what she said, right?" She asked.

"I... of course not. Well, not all of it. It was crazy. We have Dust, Semblances... But, I mean, there's no such thing as magic." Weiss said before looking at Uzziel, wondering if he would have a better answer to give to Yang.

"There's no reason for her to lie, what would she have to gain from it?" He asked.

Lance nodded in agreement with Uzziel "He's right, and with everything we've seen so far during our time at Beacon, nothing is impossible at this point." He said.

Just then, the four hear a bird caw. They watch it fly in front of them. "A raven?" Lance asked as he observed.

"I've... seen that bird before," Yang said as she looked at it as well.

"Maybe it belongs to your mom?" Weiss asked.

The four continue to watch the raven fly in the dusk-colored sky. It descends, flying and weaving between the trees, before shapeshifting into Raven herself. Raven lands back on the ground on her feet, while Yang, Lance, and Weiss have shocked expressions as she stands back up.

"How... did you do that?" Yang asked.

Raven smirked, "Well, I could explain it to you…" She then draws Omen, slashing behind her, creating a portal with her Semblance and changing her expression to serious.

"Or you could ask your uncle." Raven finished.

"You're letting us go?" Yang asked.

Raven sheathes her sword before speaking "I'm giving you a choice. Stay here, with me, and I'll answer all your questions and more. We can have a fresh start." Yang glares at her as she says this. "Or... you can go back to Qrow and join Ozpin's impossible war against Salem, and meet the same fate as so many others. But can you really go back to trusting someone that's kept so much from you?" She asked as she steps to the side of her portal.

Weiss reacts timidly, while Yang just glares at her mother. "All I care about is making sure my sister is safe." She states rather bluntly.

"Ugh…" Raven mutters dissatisfied with Yang's response.

Moments later Yang and Weiss are then shown riding on Bumblebee. While Uzziel and Lance are on foot. However, before they can enter the portal, Raven addresses her daughter one more time. "Yang... Uzziel. If you side with your uncles, I may not be as kind the next time we meet…"

Weiss rolls her eyes and looks ahead "You weren't kind this time either." Yang said.

Uzziel smirked at this comment and looked at her "If you know my family as much as you say you do, then you know we don't back down from anyone Raven." He replied.

They all proceed through the portal on Bumblebee. The portal then disappears.

"I know…" She said to herself as she looked at the ground.
