"You're pulling my leg, right?" Lloyd stared at Nya, his mouth agape. "You're not serious. Right? You cant be."
"I wish I was." Nya whispered, walking towards Lloyd. "But, I'm not. I'm really sorry, Lloyd, someone is gonna try and come after your daughter."
"We have to tell Lark!" Lloyd immediately blurted out, tears threatening the corners of his eyes. "She needs to know! It's her daughter too, and we just... we cant let her out of our sights..." Lloyd stammered out, trailing off and more tears threatening to come through.
"I'm sorry, Lloyd, we spoke to her doctor and he told us to wait a few days until she us completely over the birth and they can confirm if both Juliantha and Lark will be okay."
"You told her doctor before me?" Lloyd shouted, green energy ball forming in his fists.
Nya took a step back, she wasnt prepared for this. "We thought it might be best." She whispered out. "We really did want to tell you first."
"Who even told you of this supposed plan?" Lloyd sighed, the energy disappearing, his gaze dimming. He was broken.
Nya took in a small breath and responded. "Krystal did."
"The murderer?" Lloyd asked raising an eyebrow. "What makes you think you can trust him?"
"Cherry trusts him." Nya said.
"Cherry remembers the old Krystal." Lloyd answered crossly.
"I know this is hard to accept, Lloyd, but just trust us. Trust him." Nya muttered. "He just wants to help."
Lloyd narrowed his eyes and sighed. "Alright." He whispered. "I trust your judgement."
"Thank you, Lloyd. I know how hard this must be on you, but you're a fighter, Lloyd. You and Lark both." Nya smiled. "Juliantha will be no different."

"If I had a nickle for everytime you tried to intimate me, I'd be rich." Krystal mused, staring at Damien with cold, emotionless eyes.
"Please, money is meaningless to you." Damien sneered back.
"Listen, Krystal. You're not supposed to go around spouting plans. This is a spying client and now we'll have to come up with a new plan or get this over with much sooner then we need to, we want to control her, not have her go on a rampage."
"I never worked for evil."
"You very much have the ability to kill me, yet you dont." Damien grinned. "Seems like you'd look for any reason to start killing."
"I know who you are, and I also know how talented you are in dark arts. I'm not a fool." Krystal sneered. "You put a tie on us, if you die, then I'll be in immense pain for eternity."
Damien chuckled. "So you are actually smart."
"Unlike you, I do have brains." Krystal growled lowly.
Damien huffed and said. "It doesn't matter what you think. What matters is that you need to be punished."
"Cant hurt me more than you already have." Krystal snapped.
"I cant?" Damien repeated. "That's a true shame. I thought maybe your cousin might be a good way to go about it, guess you dont care about her."
Krystal stiffened and said lowly. "I dont have any living relatives."
"Well, Shooting Comet was her name wasnt it?" Damien smirked, taking Krystal's silence as a yes, he continued on. "Well, you'll be please to know she is alive, but only because we want you to see her last break taken." Damien continued on. "She's lived a long life anyway, about time she finally died." He snapped the last words out.
"You deserve to rot in the cursed realm." Krystal spat.
"How cute, petty insults. Now come on, Rat." Damien snapped. "I think it's time for a little family reunion, dont you agree?"
Krystal glared daggers through him, but eventually gave in and weakly followed after him, his whole time as a season, he tried to hide Comet, in hopes that no one will learn she existed, but now it seemed to be a futile effort. Now no one will even notice she's gone. That she's in danger.
And it's all his fault.
It's always his fault for what happens to her.
He will never understand why she still loves him.
Him.
Someone who ruined her life.

"Hey, Lloyd." Lark smiled to him, stirring around slightly as she awoke. "What's up? I've noticed everyone going around and talking to each other very secretly, is something amiss?"
"No." Lloyd lied, his voice catching in his throat. He felt like he was choking. "Nothing's wrong." He smiled, hoping to convince her.
Lark obviously didnt believe him but responded. "Okay, I believe you."
Lloyd watched as she laid back down and he walked over to the crib, where Juliantha was sleeping peacefully.
He pulled up a chair and sat down in it, staying right next to her crib. He'll protect her. He has too. He cant let anyone take her and force her to get her powers to get awoken.
He slightly gulped, Misako and that Doctor both said that Julie's and Lloyd's powers werent the same, he couldn't help but wonder what powers his daughter inherited.
Couldnt be anything on Lark's side, it was quite evidently that Misty was the elemental master of the two.
Lloyd looked to Lark then back to his daughter.
Wu was the elemental master of creation, Lloyd was power, and his father was destruction.
Did Julie get creation? Somehow he found that hard to believe. He looked down at his daughter and gingerly ran his thumb along the top if her head.
He felt nothing unusual, other than a regular old child of course. What made the villians so certain that she even inheritated any powers to begin with? Maybe she got Lark's regular side.
Lloyd shook his head slowly. He was in denial. "I'll protect you." He whispered softly to his daughter. "I wont let anything happen to you so long as I'm around."
But what if he wasnt strong enough to fight back? Who were they going to send to steal his daughter?
Lloyd knew they wouldnt send Krystal if they discovered he betrayed them.
So who were the other options?
