Brian and Barbara had entered the house of Dr. Charles and they saw Erika who after seeing them was relieved.
Erika: "Uff, finally, I thought the boy was lost" –she said.
Barbara: "Not at all, the boy wanted to take some fresh air" –she said as she looked at him.
Erika: "Well, my dad is making some last adjustments for Brian's shoes, so we have to wait" –she said.
Brian took off the dark jacket and put it on the sofa while he sat there and fell silent, making the two women look at him.
Barbara: "Well, how was it in Oregon?" –She asked.
Outside the house, Sven looked discreetly at the window where the living room was and he saw the boy who was sitting on the sofa next to the two women who were talking.
Sven: "Excellent, the boy is here" –he said.
From there, he took out his holographic communicator and contacted Dr. Psiquio who was working.
Sven: "Psiquio, I have located the boy" –he said as he pointed the communicator at the window.
Dr. Psiquio: "Wonderful, we finally know the location of the boy"
Sven listened little by little to the conversation the women were saying and he heard they would wait a week for something.
Dr. Psiquio: "Did they say a week? Enough to do it"
Sven: "Do what?" –He asked.
Dr. Psiquio: "Make the plan to capture him, leave the place and wait a week, I will send a surveillance camera to that house"
Sven: "Surely you don't want me to catch him right now?"
Dr. Psiquio: "Close your ass and get out of there"
Sven: "I just said" –he said as he turned off the communicator.
From there Sven got into the car and got away from the place to wait a week and Barbara left the house to get in her car and go home.
Barbara: "Okay, I'll wait a week to see what will happen" –she said as she started the car engine.
Erika: "Okay, see you" –she said while saying goodbye to her.
Barbara also said goodbye and left the place and Erika entered the house to continue with the portal. Brian was still sitting on the sofa while grabbing the remote control and turning on the TV to watch a program.
Erika: "Well, I guess you could watch some TV, you couldn't stay in the lab for a long time either. If you need me, just look for me" –she said as she went to her room.
Brian stared at her for a brief second until he watched television.
At MADOG High School in California, Mike was taking out some books in his locker and looked at Brian's locker that was close to his. He really couldn't believe what had happened to his friend and felt a great shame to lose him. At the time of closing his locker, Mike was pushed hard toward the lockers by the high school bullies. One of them was called Trevor Smith, one of the toughest and most troubled boys in the school.
Trevor: "It seems we found our guinea pig" –he said with a malicious and mocking tone.
Mike: "I don't have time for you now, Trevor" –he said as he turned to leave.
Suddenly, a kick brought Mike down to the ground and the other students watched what happened. Mike started looking annoyingly at Trevor.
Trevor: "Nobody tells Trevor they don't have time, from now on you will suffer all my anger" –he said as he cracked his fists.
Mike: "Brian was right ..." –he said as he rose from the ground - "You're a complete son of a bitch"
Trevor: "Do you mean the strange boy in a blue sweatshirt? He also had to touch him from time to time, although he tried to defend himself, but it didn't help him at all" –he said.
From there, Trevor hit Mike in the nose, spinning him for seconds and falling to the ground. The students looked in amazement and disbelief when Trevor held Mike by the shirt, but someone stopped the dispute and Mike watched the savior of his former future beating, who was a girl.

Trevor: "Move aside, Elizabeth, this is none of your business" –he said to her.
Elizabeth: "Either you let go or told the director" –she said menacingly.
Trevor stared at her for a few seconds until he released Mike and left the place. Mike adjusted his shirt and watched the girl named Elizabeth to thank her.
Mike: "Hey, I want to thank you for that" –he said to her.
Elizabeth: "Don't worry, I did it because I couldn't stand that idiot anymore and also ... because of what you said"
Mike: "Eh?"
Elizabeth: "Your friend, Brian" –she said.
At that moment, Mike remembered that he had seen her before, when they learned that Brian had died at the desert border on a television in a store.
Mike: "I think we had met before"
Elizabeth: "Yes, when we saw that ... well, you know" –she said in a sad tone.
Mike: "Did you know him?" –he ask her.
Elizabeth: "He saved my life from a rapist" –she said softly because there were still students walking by her side.

From there, the bell began to ring and both went to their classrooms to continue with the classes, but that would not be the only time they would see each other.

It had been a week and the boy from the museum had been waiting in the kitchen chair to wait for news from Dr. Charles, it had been a long wait for Brian, but he had to be worth it because his sneakers had broken the soles
Dr. Charles: "Boy, I've finally done it" –he said as he carried the sneakers.
Brian watched him and saw his snaekers that were changed, but had the same colors as always, only now they were runner's sneakers.
Dr. Charles: "I have implemented some adjustments so that the shoes fit your speed, try it on" –he said, giving him the sneakers.
Brian took his sneakers and put it on and felt that the new adjustments looked great, suddenly Erika appeared.
Erika: "Dad, I'm ready" –she said.
Dr. Charles: "Okay, we all go to the central laboratory in California" –he said.
Everyone left the house and got into the car to be able to go to that place, however, they did not realize that this week they were watched by a camera that captured everything they observed and emitted a red light, giving a signal to its creator who watched from his great computer.
Dr. Psiquio: "Sven, the time has come" –he said from the communicator.
Sven: "Understood"
Dr. Psiquio: "The time has come for the capture" –he said as he pressed a button that had a nut logo.
