To the Guest reviewer who was not impressed with the previous chapter with what was done to purge the darkness from Inuyasha, No story will be everyones favourite and I guess mine will not be yours. Thank you for your time in reading the previous chapters.
Inuyasha rose his head and smiled "I pledge to help you with the shikon quest, if you'd have me in your dai-tachi"
Sesshoumaru looked down on his mate and smiled "I am satisfied he joins us, if you are" Kagome turned her gaze to Kiyoye and Inutashio, seeing the yearning look in his eyes, of having a second youkai son. A son he had yet to bond with formally "I leave the decision to you Tashio-sama" she bowed respectfully.
Four weeks had passed since the change took place in Inuyasha. Each sunrise woke the castle with the sounds of swordplay as the younger son took the opportunity to spar with his elder brother and noble and terrible Father. Inutashio had the mornings filled with exchanges of expanding his battle prowess well into the noonday break, while the afternoons wrought etiquette and trading deals until the night had claimed the lands. All in all, Inuyasha was bored and wanted to get back out to freedom and seek to destroy the fiend Naraku.
Sesshoumaru chuckled as he heard his younger brothers sigh for the twentieth time that hour "Inuyasha, If you truly detest the mundane life here that father is subjecting you to; voice it" Inuyasha turned his rich amber eyes back to his elder and frowned deep "Sesshoumaru I can't do that, I have missed much that father expects of me when I was in my darker years. He expects me to step up and be the second born son I can see in his eyes. But I have noticed that there is an air of resentment and regret each time he gazes upon me, I do not understand" Sesshoumaru placed a supporting hand on his younger brothers shoulder "Then you should ask father what troubles him so that you can rectify what he trying to reach within you" Inuyasha sighed, again. "I hate it when you're right" he looked about as he felt his sister-kin's aura approach alongside his brothers mother.
Kagome was concerned, she could feel that Kiyoye's aura was off, the regal daiyoukai was guarding herself from those around her, walking with a slower gait than normal she had attempted to ask what was ailing her 'mother' but Kiyoye continued to brush it off, stating she was just tired as she had difficulty sleeping, feeling nauseous most mornings which would abate after the mornings breakfast. Kagome had a sneaking suspicion but dare not voice it, afterall Kiyoye herself stated that it was impossible many moons ago, and it was not in Kagome's nature to continually remind the beautiful Sun Inu of her infertility.

Seven rises of the sun had passed, and as it slowly sank that afternoon Inuyasha turned golden eyes towards his father in a show of deep respect "Father, I thank you for allowing me to spend time here with you and getting to grow into my new self, but I cannot fathom why my Tessaiga no longer works for me. I am still hanyou". A large clawed hand settled on his son's shoulder, mirth dancing in his golden eyes. "Son, it will come to pass. Tessaiga will work for you once again, we just have to release it, much like you have been released". Shadows crept along the dojo, the sun pulling her light back into herself like a lover caressing the night. Inuyasha turned his golden gaze towards the evening, feeling his blood chill as the demon within pulled away from the fore.
Claws retracted, fangs seeped upward into gums, scent and sight lost its sharpness. Inutashio watched as the demonic traits that set his second born apart receded within. His flaxen hair remained, his eyes were deep amber, claws and fangs had all but disappeared, and his newly formed facial markings faded away. He looked like an unmarked youkai, a lower class youkai, but his aura still held his youki, albeit dimmed to a faint murmur. The sword it his hip pulsed a call, deep and rich, begging to be drawn in that moment. Inuyasha and his father both looked at the blade inquisitively. Young hands reached for the hilt, clasping strong fingers around the tattered fabric. In a fluid motion, it was drawn and held, the blade singing its personal song for its wielder.
"Tessaiga, will you grant me your favour?" Inuyasha asked the blade that belonged to his grandsire. The blade pulsed once more, its own aura flowing into its owner, the blade ignited with intense blue light engulfing the hanyou within. The blue protective barrier caressed Inuyasha in a loving manner, drawing out his own muted gold and red youki. After a few moments, the blue light diminished and the blade vibrated in his hand "Tessaiga, transform". In a display of pure power the blade transformed into the mighty fang as it did before, lips pulled at the corners, as the blade re-established its connection to the youngster. "Before, it never used to work when I was human, now I am more vulnerable the fang seems to want to protect me. Father, what say you to a little sparring session?" A gruff chuckle filled the interior of the sparring room "I would have it no other way son".

The scents of heated meats wafted on the night breeze, causing the stomach of one inu-hanyou to growl mercilessly. Tashio ceased his sparing with his youngest son and smirked lowering his weapon. "You have done well Son, what say you, we stop for the night" Inuyasha smiled alongside his father and lowered his Tessuaiga. "I feel stronger, despite looking more human, I believe that food would be an acceptable reprieve". Inuyasha sheathed his fang, then tied his long mane from his sweaty neck 'Kagome helped purge the deep stains from my heart and soul that I am able to see things more clearly than ever before. I have much to atone for, but with each day that I become stronger, perhaps I can find my place in the West beside my brother and Kagome'.
Father and Son walked together towards the main chamber, through the twisting corridors until they entered the room filled with freshly prepared food. Kiyoye, Amanae and Taro were already sat at the huge table laughing jovially at something the Daiyoukai said before their arrival. Inuyasha sat at the table looking at the empty stalls reserved for his Elder brother and Kagome. "Father, Taro-sama are Sesshoumaru and Kagome going to be joining us this evening?" a low resounding growl rumbled from Inuyasha's stomach earning another rally of laughter "Start son, there is plenty of food. I am certain they will not be long" Tashio passed a glance to his mate noticing that once again she sat demurely, staring at the food but not taking part, breathing shallowly as though it were offensive and making her feel ill. "Mate, are you feeling alright?" Tashio asked quietly as he reached for the boar, placing some of the cured meat upon his plate. Kiyoye smiled lightly and nodded "I am not that hungry, Excuse me" she slowly stood from her pillow and quietly left the dining room. "Tashio, want me to check on her?" Amanae asked slowly standing herself with a look of worry toward her friend "If you would Amanae, Thank you". Amanae knelt down, planting a tender kiss on the brow of her mate before walking out of the dining hall.

Sesshoumaru sighed, long and deep. He had finished reading and signing the last of the scriptures that had been piling on the desk seeking urgent responses over the waning months. Kagome giggled as she settled herself into his lap, toying with a strand of his flaxen silver hair earning her a nuzzle into her neck. "Can I pry my Lord away from his duties to have dinner with me and our families?" Kagome asked tenderly as she ran her hand down his back, her claws grazing his skin gently. Sesshoumaru closed his eyes in raptured bliss "I would much rather feast on you my mate, your far more delicious than anything that comes from the kitchens" Kagome playfully swatted his arm "One taste of being a Jigoku Inu and you want more" she mused "not at all, it was one taste of you" he responded turning her face to his for a searing kiss full of promise. "Come, we are already late". Kagome sprung out of Sesshoumaru's lap and danced her way to the shoji door. With carefree abandon she danced down the hallways humming to herself, turning every now and then towards Sesshoumaru to ensure he was following.
As Kagome turned the corner she came nose to nose with Kiyoye, who looked pallid with her fist held against her mouth, and another settled on her stomach. "Kiyoye, what's wrong?" Kagome asked, clearly concerned that her mother figure was ailing. "Mother, shall I fetch the physician for you? You do not look well" Sesshoumaru added, his aura enveloping his mothers, clearly worried, and wondering why his father was not hovering around his mother if she were taken ill. "There is no need Sesshoumaru, Kagome and I can escort her there and remain with her until we can determine what is wrong" Amanae added as she approached the younger Inu's. "I shall accompany you" he added, swatted away by Amanae. "No need, this is a matter for females. We shall return to you shortly, once we have had some settling tea". Kagome instantly cut her gaze to her mother, then to Kiyoye before she smiled. "Go Koi, we will be fine and we will return shortly. Could you ask the kitchen staff to put some sweet ham on the table". Sesshoumaru looked at the three women suspiciously and slowly walked away towards where he could sense the males were seated together.
Within moments he entered the dining hall, greeting Taro, Inuyasha and his father before joining them at the table, still feeling perplexed over his mate and his mothers. "Son, have you caught up on all your affairs of state?" Tashio questioned as Sesshoumaru requested the sweetened cured ham to be brought out. "Hai father, I have. I still detest scriptures. That will never change. Inuyasha how fairs your swordsmanship with Tessuiaga?" He asked as he drank a goblet of sweetened Southern Wine. "I thank you for enquiring, It is going slow. I haven't yet mastered the Tessuiaga since my change but I refuse to give up. I have however been granted its power whilst I am human, which it never allowed me before". Sesshoumaru nodded in approval towards his younger sibling. "Perchance tomorrow you and I can patrol the Western border and see if we can get Tessuaiga to obey your commands once more" Inuyasha beamed at the prospect, whilst Tashio coughed in surprise that his first born and second were finally getting along. Taro smiled, enjoying the familiar scene of a family.

Amanae pulled Kiyoye and Kagome into her chambers and closed the shoji door with a soft click. "Mother, this is not the physicians room" Kagome admonished as she looked once more at Kiyoye. "I am aware, however we do not need Salu for this. I can tell you what is ailing you Kiyoye, and I know you would want to keep this quiet a little longer. I know Salu would immediately tell Tashio were we to consult her". Kagome sat down on the pillow and looked up at both her mothers a smile stretching her face "you sensed it also?" she asked, earning a sharp look from Kiyoye. "It cannot be possible, I have been barren for centuries. I was told many, many moons ago on the birthing bed of Sesshoumaru that I could not pup another. That my womb was damaged. That is why I pushed Tashio into taking a Beta mate, and we all know how that turned out" she hissed, a hand gently rubbing circles on her lower stomach. "Nonetheless, I hear it's heartbeat" Kagome smiled.
Kiyoye sat down unceremoniously on the cushions beside her daughter, clutching her hands tightly as though she would wake from this dream any moment "You do?" she whispered, afraid that if she said loudly, it would shatter and break. "Kiyoye, mother, congratulations. You are with pup once more" Kagome pulled her mother into a strong embrace and allowed her to feel that she was safe, that it was real. Kiyoye looked at Amanae, seeking her dearest friend to confirm. Amanae smiled and nodded her head to confirm, which brought Kiyoye to tears of Joy. "I have you to thank for this miracle Kagome-chan" Kagome pulled away from her mother and looked at her quizzically "Me?" she asked confused. "When you healed Inuyasha, a bright wave of healing youki expelled from you. It washed the lands." Kiyoye smiled as she looked deep into Kagome's eyes "I was running within them, following my mate to you. Your light filled me, with life" Kiyoye grabbed Kagome's hand and placed it on her stomach "You gave me this gift, you healed not only the rift between brothers, but the rift between father and sons, and the hole deep in my heart that yearned for another pup of my own".
Kagome looked to her mother "The healing light filled the forest, Kiyoye speaks the truth" Amanae knelt and placed her hand on her friends stomach, felt the flutter within "Strong and healthy, I can tell you if you wish to know" Kiyoye smiled deep and true "I care only that it is healthy and strong, with family such as you I am truly blessed. I need some herbal tea to settle my stomach, I cannot enter that room without it making me feel nauseous, and I am desperately hungry"

The next morning Sesshoumaru awoke to the sun shining in through the balcony, the heat of the rays warming his skin and banishing away the remnants of sleep. He turned over to cuddle his still snoozing mate, pulling her closer to his form, that fit like a satin glove against him. He ran the tip of his nose against her ear delicately eliciting a purr from her as she was slowly awakening. He pushed himself up onto his elbow and ran his claws gently over her naked body, watching as gooseflesh rose in the wake of his claws. Feeling the need for his mate in more ways than this one, he lowered himself to planting feather light kisses on her torso, hovering over her breasts, before pulling an awakening nipple into the warm cavern of his mouth. Mewls of pleasure filled his ears as his mate was slowly coming into the waking world. She rolled over, her claws running up the thick ropes of his biceps and shoulders as she lay upon her back. Sesshoumaru continued his ministrations, feathering kisses across her body, delving lower and lower. He found her hip, and delivered a shivery lick, enjoying delicate little gasps his little mate was giving him as she was coming further into waking world.
He repositioned himself, wanting to worship his perfect mate before he had to get up and perform his duties as Lord once more. Tracing his claws down her sides with infinite tenderness and curling them around her hips, he buried his nose between her legs and suckled gently. Kagome's eyes flew open to the sensations that were filling her, her fingertips running over Sesshoumaru's scalp and into his hair. As he delivered a long deep stroke to her cleft, she bucked, panting for more. She could feel him smirking against her thighs, feel the air as it moved around her treasured area as he chuckled, the sensations heightening her sensitivity.
Sesshoumaru looked up at his mate, probing her with his tongue, watching her face fill with pleasure, he could feel himself becoming painfully thick and full, needing to sheath himself within his mewling mate before she met her undoing. He smirked in satisfaction knowing that she would be clawing for him in mere moments as his tongue was coated with her sweet nectar. Her eyes opened and met his, ringed with deep crimson and filled with passion. She mewled once more and threw her head back, raising her hips, beckoning for more. Sesshoumaru glided up his mate, delivering more kisses to her exposed flesh, suckling once more at her nipples, earning hisses for his endeavours.
The feeling of her soft hands on his heated flesh was his undoing. She placed her hands around his girth and gave a delicate squeeze. His lips crashed unto hers in a dominating manner, as he drove himself hard and deep into her awaiting cavern. The sounds of flesh against flesh filled the room. Soft gasps and delicate moans. The futon thumped against the wall once, twice and again. Sesshoumaru was lost deep within himself as he pounded into his little mate over and over. Her delicate hands on his hips, pulling him harder and deeper than ever before. He placed a hand on the wall in front of him, pounded further wanting to get deeper into her womb. The position wasn't enough, he couldn't get deep enough, her nectar was flowing around him, the heady scent filling the room and yet he wanted more.
He took a moment to remove himself, flip his mate over and lift her ass to him. In a fluid motion he re-sheathed himself into her core, and continued pounding into her. In this new position he felt himself go deeper than before, felt her walls squeezing against him as he continued. Draping himself over her, he pulled at her nipples, grabbed at her breasts as she was slowly coming undone in a wave of fire they created. "My mate, allow me to pup you" he whispered seductively in her ear. Kagome growled something unintelligible into the silken pillow, as she was being ridden hard, enjoying every moment of her dominant mate. "Say it again" he growled as he pulled her head up slightly by her hair, the pain bordering on pleasure as he continued, nearing his own end. "Yes, yes, yes" Kagome chanted as the futon thumped the wall again with each thrust. Sesshoumaru took her consent and grabbed her hips, pushing himself as deep as he could, pounding with wild abandon. He felt himself knot inside his mate, with a hoarse cry he spilled himself deep inside her, his body and hers covered in sweat, little aftershocks taking them both into euphoria. They both tumbled into a heap on the futon, Sesshoumaru still knotted deep within his mate, Kagome panting as she slipped into a peaceful state of slumber, her body alive with tremors after being sated fully.

Inuyasha knocked on the door to his brother's chambers after the morning's meal with his Father. He heard no response, slowly opening the door a crack to peer inside. He spotted his brother's naked back cuddled up to his sister-kin, a leg draped over hers, still sleeping given their even breaths curled up in each other's embrace. Inuyasha smiled at them both, shook his head and closed the door once again 'I guess the patrols will be this afternoon, given how lazy Sesshoumaru is being' he mused. Turning the corridor he headed for the grounds to see if Sango would be willing to spar with him until his elder brother decided to get his butt out of bed.
By high noon Sesshoumaru wandered into the courtyard and headed towards his brother and the Slayer who were sparring under the cover of large maples. Inuyasha called a halt to the session, wiping the sweat from his brow, Sango bowed to the Daiyoukai as she headed to the sturdy trunk to wipe herself down with a towel and take a long drink from the canteen provided. "Man, Sesshoumaru you must've been tired last night, you were out cold this morning. I checked on you after breakfast but you were still snoring" Inuyasha snickered, Sesshoumaru scoffed "I do not snore" Inuyasha laughed imitating snoring sounds. "Inuyasha, cease that, I do not snore" Inuyasha ceased making sounds and instead responded with "You are correct Aniiki, you don't snore, you bellow!" He grabbed his sides in fits of giggles, as he dropped to the ground laughing at his elder brother and the visions of him snoring. Sango stifled a laugh, placing her hand over her mouth, but her eyes still danced with mirth. Tashio took that moment to enter the gardens and smiled at his youngest in a flurry of merriment that he just could not contain.
"Son, what have you done to Inuyasha?" Tashio asked as he started to chuckle at his youngest who chortled, snorted and fell into more fits of giggles. "I believe he is broken Father, finally snapped it was only a matter of time" Sesshoumaru replied, before shaking his head and started to walk back towards the dining hall "Taijia, send him to me when he controls himself, I will be in the dining chamber" with that he walked back to the holding, a smile on his own face as he thought about his idiotic brother.
"Care to share what's so funny?" Tashio asked his youngest who wheezed as he was attempting to control himself "Sess...Sesshoumaru...snoring!" Sango was unable to hold back the giggle that escaped this time, clapping a hand to her face. Tashio shook his head "Siblings" and wandered back towards his study. When his Son's returned from the patrols he needed to discuss what was needed in order to return home permanently, now that Kagome had returned.
LotW (Based loosely around episode 43)
Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha patrolled together along the borders of the South and West. They had earlier crested a hilltop overlooking a small village beneath filled with rice paddies, where villagers were arguing over harvesting times. Sesshoumaru assisted his younger sibling in the art of diplomacy in these matters, in how the season was unseasonably warm and for a longer period, that the crops could wait another seven sunrises before being cultivated for trade with the nearby village, but it would not change the crop nor the quantity. Inuyasha kept silent and leaned on his elder brother for support, much as a second borne son should when he took his hand at some diplomacy, knowing it was nowhere near his strong suit, but he was willing to try. Sesshoumaru smiled and lifted his head in appreciation of his younger sibling trying to learn.
As the night was slowly overtaking the daylight hours, shadows creeping deep into the forest the sound of screams pierced the camaraderie the brothers held. Tessuaiga pulsed on Inuyasha's hip, whilst Tenseiga pulsed on Sesshoumaru's. As one, the Inu brothers sped to the village that the screams of terror permeated from. Two sets of amber eyes surveyed the scene below, a huge shadowed demon with horns and rows of sharp fangs was rampaging through the village a spider upon its back. Bodies of Horses, Cattle and Chickens ripped to shreds amongst the humans as they lay torn and lifeless across the ground. Sesshoumaru unsheathed Tokijin and darted into the village toward the huge demon as he heard the screams of two children in a barn. "You thought to hide from me amongst the straw. You can scream and cry all you want but no-one will save you" The demon advanced as the children clutched one another.
"DRAGON STRIKE!" the pulsating youki of the dragon whipped at the demon, knocking it away from the children momentarily. Sesshoumaru stood before them, tall and regal, his sword poised ready. Inuyasha jumped in behind him his claws brandished "Inuyasha, take the human children whilst I deal with this filth" Inuyasha nodded and swept the children up into his arms. He launched himself up into the air above his brother, to find a place of safety. "Tsk, Tsk, you didn't think we would make it that simple did you halfbreed" the sound of a woman entered the fray. Inuyasha dropped to the ground, removed his outer haori and draped it over the two children. "Kagura..." Inuyasha turned to the two children, pulling his Tessuaiga. The blade remained dormant, refusing to obey. 'Tessuaiga, this is a real bad time to not join the party, C'mon transform' he pleaded in his mind. Kagura stood before him and laughed.
Inuyasha looked back at his brother noting that he was unable to land a blow on the bigger demon. Everytime he attacked, it moved with incredible speed "Goshinki" Inuyasha hissed. Sesshoumaru turned an amber eye toward his brother "Indeed halfbreed, Tis I, Goshinki. I cannot be slain, as I am able to read every thought you possess when you attack, Naraku and Kiros send their regards" Sesshoumaru hissed and attacked anew, each strike dodged by the beast. Inuyasha looked the children he was tasked to save, clutching the clothes of their deceased parents. Inuyasha felt the desire within him to protect the children at all costs, that Tessuaiga flared to life. The demon fang pulsed and roared to life "I will protect you children, if its the last thing I do" dropping into a defensive Kata that his father taught him only a few weeks ago Inuyasha sized up Kagura "Not today witch". Kagura looked at Inuyasha as though he were a mere nuisance "You are a half demon, demon blood runs through your veins, yet you would protect human children. You're weaker than I gave you credit for" Inuyasha growled at the wind witch "Yeah, yeah, lets get on with with shall we"
Sesshoumaru stood before Goshinki eyeing him, looking for a weak spot that would give him the advantage. Goshinki laughed "I haven't got a weak spot Sesshoumaru, but I know you do" Sesshoumaru unfurled a lip, dropping once more into a kata that most would run from screaming. "I can see into your mind, every move your precious Kaya used to disarm you, I will do the same and then I run you through with your own fang!" Goshinki bellowed and charged at the Inu Lord, Sesshoumaru feined left, Goshinki followed and swiped out, catching him and launching him across the village into a house that imploded on impact. "Sesshoumaru-Aniiki!"
Inuyasha stood in Goshinki's path, deterring him from his brother, until his brother was able to rejoin the fray. Tessuaiga hissing, the whirling vortex of demonic energies hissing and creating a vacuum. In the distance the sound of thunder split the sky followed by baleful howls. Inuyasha smirked "You're in the Inu house now Goshinki, you're gonna have to deal with not only Sesshoumaru, but our Father, his mate and her father, and they're pissed!" Goshinki snickered "More Inu to destroy, my master will rule over the South and the West with them gone"
"Never gonna happen! WIND SCAR!" Inuyasha launched his attack at Goshinki, however the demon broke through the windscar and sized up the halfbreed. Inuyasha swung his sword "I'll just have to chop your head off instead!" with all the force he could muster, Inuyasha launched himself into the swing. "Inuyasha, No!" Sesshoumaru yelled out as he rejoined the fight. The sword caught into the jaws of the beast. "foolish halfbreed, your precious Tessuaiga is nothing more than a dog fang!" Goshinki bit hard, shattering the Tessuaiga into pieces, launching Inuyasha away with its force. Sesshoumaru sheathed his Tokijin quickly, launched himself into the air and caught up his falling brother. "Goes to prove that a dogs fang is nothing in the hands of a half breed" Goshinki laughed.
Sesshoumaru settled Inuyasha onto the ground, looking him over momentarily. Inuyasha was dazed but otherwise uninjured. Sesshoumaru snarled as he launched himself once more at the best "Die" he cracked his knuckles, flaring his acid whip at the demon. Instantly the beast caught the whips and hurled Sesshoumaru once more into the village, another building imploding at the sheer force. Inuyasha looked upward at Goshinki, fear rolling off him in waves, his mind going completely blank, he had no Tessuaiga, and his brother was powerless against the beast. Goshinki swiped out at Inuyasha "Inuyasha, move!" Sesshoumaru clipped, but Inuyasha was thrown into the village and impaled on a well support, blood running down his torso.
Instantly carnage erupted, A huge White Inu landed on Goshinki snarling, ripping and mauling, until it was grabbed and thrown away. InuTashio immediately got up and launched himself once again, followed by a transformed Sesshoumaru. Kagome dropped down to Inuyasha and pulled him free of the post he was impaled on, whilst her father snorted in her direction before launching himself into the fight. Three snarling daiyoukai fought and ripped into the beast, the beast attempting to fight back, unable to intercept their thoughts in their less rational minds. Kagome looked down at Inuyasha, noticing that his skin had gone ice cold, his aura pulsed around him. His eyes opened revealing two crimson rubies with purple irises, jagged stripes on his face. She slowly moved away, keeping her movements slow and non-threatening, sensing the danger she was suddenly in.
Inuyasha stood, looking at Kagome, sensing no threat he turned his eyes to Goshinki. He sprung at the demon beast, claws sharp "The demon blood that flows through my veins, is unlike yours, I'm in a class of my OWN!" he bellowed, causing three daiyoukai to suddenly move out of his way as he attacked, shredding the beast before him. The beast was ripped apart cruelly, Inuyasha delighting in the blood he was sprayed in. Inutashio, InuTaro and Sesshoumaru returned to their humanoid forms watching the youngest annihilate the beast. Kagome slowly approached her mate, placing her hand into his 'I am afraid for him' he spoke privately "What happened?" Tashio questioned watching as his second borne son suddenly stopped, flicking blood and gore off his claws, before turning to them. "the beast, broke Tessuaiga" Inuyasha placed his claws to his head as he became overwhelmed with the desire for more blood. Kagome hoped that she would be able to stop this, being female and deemed less threatening, she had to calm him down, she pulled away from the safety of the males around her. Inuyasha raised his head as he noticed the female advancing towards him "Stay away from me, I cannot say what I would do next, I want to kill more, I enjoyed it" Kagome moved away from the males, much to their protests. Slowly and unthreateningly she walked closer towards Inuyasha "stay away!" he growled. Sesshoumaru was coiled, ready to spring. "Inuyasha, its alright, calm down, I am not going to hurt you" she spoke softly, like a mother would its pup.
Inuyasha growled louder, and more threatening. Sesshoumaru wanted noting more than to dash in, grab his mate and punch his younger brother for daring to growl at his sister-kin. But he understood that his younger brother was fighting his more primal self, one he had never been privy to, whereas the ruling daiyoukai that were stood, were born into their full demon blood, embraced the beast and grew with them. Inuyasha looked at Kagome as she opened her arms to him, inviting him to her, that she was safe. He took a step towards her, then another until he was safely tucked in her arms. She ran her hands down his mane, soothing him as her father did her when she was so deep in the thrall of taking blood from another. "that's my daughter" Taro whispered, watching as the red dissipated from Inuyasha's eyes, becoming amber once more, with each soothing motion Inuyasha became himself once more. As he became himself, Kagome released him and looked into his eyes, seeing the boy she cared for "Better?" Inuyasha nodded, looking around at the destruction "Did I do all this?" he asked worriedly.
"Do not worry Son, but we shall have to get Totosai to repair your Tessuaiga. You'll have to remain home until it's fixed, we cannot allow you to become enraged like this, it may have dire consequences" Tashio stated as he pulled his son close. Inuyasha nodded, looking at his brother "Are you alright?" Sesshoumaru smirked "You need not worry for me Inuyasha, but I am unscathed" Kagome curled under him at that moment resting her head upon his shoulder. "Let's head back" Tashio transformed once more, allowing his youngest Son to travel upon his back. Sesshoumaru formed his cloud of youki beneath his feet, pulling his mate close, Taro following in Tashio's lead. The Inu's took off, returning to the Palace of the South.
