The Supernatural World of Vladimir and Viktor, Chapter 54
Vladimir and Viktor fired up their father's computer and linked to Ezekial on his cell phone. As usual, Vladimir and Viktor were side-by-side on a piano bench and Zeke was curled up on a bench seat by the kitchen table with a pineapple soda and a bowl of Cracker Jack.
"I'm ready for the story," said Zeke.
"Okay." started Vladimir. "We were asleep on our birthday and in our dream Amazing Bob came and took us on a trip."
"We could see our bodies still in bed as we floated away," chimed in Viktor. "Daddy woke up."
"I think Timothy told him from Heaven that we were leaving and he just opened his eyes for a second, 'cause he closed them again. Anyway we left."
Vladimir continued. "First we went to a room in a hospital somewhere. There was a lady sleeping in a chair in the corner and a young girl in the bed. The girl was watching Castiel healing her leg. It was all crooked and had a line above the knee marked 'cut here.' Castiel was making the leg straighten and the scars go away."
"Castiel saw us," said Viktor.
"Maybe," said Vladimir, "but I'm not sure 'cause he looked back down again and we floated away and went to a different planet where there was another Amazing Bob."
Zeke sat in awe with his hand paused over the bowl of Cracker Jack.
Two police cars were on the Mitchell property in Georgia when Jill turned off of the road. A familiar figure in a trench coat stood passively by the drive. Dawn was just arriving, allowing enough light to show there was no structure left standing. Any trees around them were also gone.
Immediately Andros and Daniel climbed out of the car to inspect the grounds. They looked about as they walked to the forest where the four had escaped to earlier. Where the house once stood was a hollowed black circle of charred soil, much larger than the circle of salt had been. Former tree locations were marked by holes with roots sticking out. The greenhouse was totally gone and when the men reached the woods they saw where all of its parts had landed and the tree parts on top of it all.
"It's a good thing you moved us out of there," Andros told Daniel.
Officer Sumner walked up to them and turned around to survey the damage behind them.
"No doubt there will be pictures online soon of the big black burned perfect circle with claims of a UFO landing here," he predicted. "A coven or two will see the picture and swear that some supernatural ceremony had been held at the spot.
"Authorities will call it a tornado and forget about it. The other place power lines and this place a tornado. And I don't believe either one. It can't be a coincidence. I can't place my finger on it, but I've always felt there was something dark about Clara Marshall. It's like karma caught up with her with a vengeance. I would feel better if I knew just what it was about her that brought this on."
They left the officer there to return to Jill's car where Castiel had his hands on Sam's shoulders, healing his burns, while Jill massaged her arm where her injury had already been healed.
So, is that the end of the archdemon?" Andros asked.
"Yes, Eufrendus has been vanquished," said Castiel. "Fortunately for me, Amazing Bob told me I would soon find him and I was prepared. This ended numerous demonic contracts, not just this one in Georgia."
"Sounds a bit cryptic," said Jill. "We'll have to talk more about what these contracts were."
"Something else," added Castiel. "We are all to join the others at the Vam San. Hank is back."
"Hank? You made it to Purgetory? When did this happen?" Sam was nonplused.
"In the boys' same birthday dream. They'll tell you all about it at the celebration. I'm sure Hank will be happy to add his part." The angel became quiet.
"Vlad and Vik?" mused Daniel the elf. "They really got around that night. They visited me, too."
We should get Dean and go over there then," said Sam. "Castiel, would you pop us all over to the bunker?"
As the others piled into Jill's car, Daniel told them to go ahead. He would say good-bye to the officers and send himself to his own home first.
Before he turned, Daniel added, "Andros' eyes are turning gray. You better get some blue solution into him or at least muzzle him before he bites someone..."
With the car loaded, Jill paused the car and everyone looked back to where Daniel was holding up over his head a large gold coin. They could not see it when Daniel put it down but the officers leaned over to watch whatever he did to it. Soon they drooped down and sat sound asleep. Daniel turned around to nod to his friends and tap his staff to the ground. Then he was gone.
"I suppose this is a good time for us, too." announced Castiel, and in an instant they were sitting in the car at the bunker.
"A magic coin, and he used some sort of magic shears in the field," said Jill.
"Have Andros show you his magic circular saw blade," added Sam.
"And with Castiel, we stepped into Jill's car in Georgia and now we're stepping out in Kansas as if it were nothing," said Andros. "When did the supernatural suddenly become natural?"
Sam held open the bunker door. "You boys need to get together and compare your new toys!"
"You just want to test them out yourself," teased Jill.
Down the steps and further, they heard the sound of water in the shower. Dean was home.
"That you, Sammy?" Dean called.
But Sam was already in the kitchen organizing a meal for the crew. And Castiel looked towards the direction of Dean's voice, but did not feel the need to reply for Sam.
"Go get Dean," Jill urged Andros and pushed him knowingly towards the hall to the showers.
Andros stood there in wide-eyed shock for a second and then weakly forced himself to shuffle to the hallway and then towards the shower room.
Dean stepped into the hall, drying his hair with a towel. "Sammy? Oh, hey, Andy!"
He wrapped the towel around his waist and, holding it in place with his right hand, ruffled Andros' hair. Then he leaned down a bit and looked into Andros' eyes, squinting a bit.
"You know your eyes are gray right now? Did you miss a dose of the blue stuff? Could you hypnotize me right now?"
That startled Andros from gazing into Dean's chest hair and redirect up to his eyes. An ornery thought came to him and he followed through by pointing at Dean's eyes and saying, "You will face palm with your right hand."
Dean immediately let go of the towel and smacked his own forehead with his right hand.
He looked shocked for a moment, then grinned broadly at the vampire, picked up the dropped towel and threw it over his shoulder, then strode bare-ass back into the shower room.
Andros's jaw dropped, but that was short-lived. A bar of soap shot out from the shower room and, once in the hallway, took a ninety-degree turn and zoomed straight at Andros. Andros ran out of the hallway and turned towards the kitchen. Thinking he had dodged the missile, he slowed but knew when it did not whizz past him that he had misjudged Dean's skill.
Andros turned to look back only to have the soap smack him in the forehead. The force flipped him completely over and he was left lying quiet, face-down on the floor.
"Oh, shit! I threw it too hard!" Dean said as he pulled on his jeans and hopped on one foot out into the hallway. "Jill! See if he's okay!"
Jill rushed over to Andros, concerned, until finally a whisper came from Andros' prone body, "That...was..so...worth it!"
