Hey, guys! Sorry for the long wait, but I got chapter 32 up now.
Chapter 32: Fear Factor
It had been a week since the duel with Camula. And with all the Shadow Rider business on hold finally, the Key Keepers can unwind a bit. As Stan said, "I can't wait to go to the swimming pool with Jaden, Syrus, Chumley there and hanging out with Alexis."
Blade appeared as he said, "Right, after the duel you guys been in you all deserve to relax a bit."
As Stan said, "Right, not to mention, Lisker is now a Shadow Rider. But I'll be ready for him."
Wizard appeared as he said, "Right, as long as you held onto that hope you'll never fall into despair."
As Stan said, "Right because I have you guys and the others." He took out a card from his deck as he said, "Dad send this to me too, your final Form. Haruto. Infinity Style."
Wizard nodded as he said, "Like I told you before Stan, I will be your hope."
Stan nodded as Wizard and Blade disappeared.
Stan was waiting outside waiting for Alexis to come by as he heard someone saying, "Hey there, Stan."
Stan turn to see Alexis walk by him. As Stan said, "Hey, Alexis."
As Alexis said, "Hey," As she asks, "Are you ready to go to the swimming pool with the guys?"
As Stan said, "Yep."
Stan is waiting outside by the girls' bathroom waiting for Alexis. Alexis, then he heard Alexis saying "Sorry, for the wait."
Stan turned around and his jaws dropped. Alexis wore a blue colored Add–2–Cups halter top, that hugged her frames rather alluringly, and a Side–Tie Bikini blushed as she asks, "So, what do you think?"
As Stan said, "You look beautiful."
Then Blade appeared as he said, "Wow, she almost looks like Raye when she's worn a bikini when we go to the beach."
Stan wore a swim trucks which was blue.
Soon they met up with Jaden, Chumley, Syrus, Blake and Kenji after they grab their pool gear made their way towards the huge body of water, surrounded by potted trees, waterfalls, and large boulders that dotted the area.
Syrus placed a yellow inner tube around his waist, and then ran off a large rock, landing into the water, nothing but a towel around his waist. He sank, and then surfaced, a smile on his face as he shook his head, enjoying the refreshing dip. As Syrus asks, "Ah, yeah! This is the life, huh, guys?" He turns look up Stan, Jaden, Alexis, Chumley as he asks, "Could it get any better than this?"
As Jaden said, "Sure, it could, Syrus! If you haven't jumped in with your towel!"
Syrus turned back around to see his once fluffy towel floating in front of him, completely soaked. Now, save for his inner–tube, he was in his birthday suit as he said, "Ah man! That was dryer fresh too!"
After a while, they eventually found a spot for each of them to have a good rest at, as Syrus, Blake and Chumley decided to stay at the middle and Jaden, Stan and Alexis lean against a big rock. As Chumley asks, "C'mon, Jaden! The water's really warm over by Syrus!"
As Jaden asks, "Uh…no thanks, Chumley. I'm fine over here,"
As Stan said, "Water's really warm here." As he said, "Especially warm since I got my girlfriend here." While he wraps his arm around Alexis making her blush.
As Syrus said, "Man, Stan…every single boy would do anything, just to have Alexis as their girlfriend."
As Jaden said, "Or as a tag team partner!"
As Chumley said, "I'm all okay if I had my cheeseburger."
As Blake said, "Chumley, that's you could think about."
As Syrus asks, "Jaden, you finally over that bad dream of yours?"
Jaden sighed and sat against a large rock. To which Alexis, Kenji and Blake didn't know as Stan said, "Over the last few days, since the battle with the Shadow Riders started, he's been having this bad dream."
As Alexis asks, "What kind of bad dreams?"
As Jaden said, "Well, it all started like this…"
(Flashback)
It was in the Shadow Realm and his opponent was another mysterious Shadow Rider. Jaden has his Wildheart on the Field. His opponent has only one Monster on his Field and Jaden was to go for the strike. As he said, "Party's over! And I think your monster has to split!"
Before Wildheart jumped high to the sky to cleave his opponent's Monster in half, giving him damage… but something's amiss.
The 'Monster' wasn't completely destroyed as like Jaden said, it only 'split.' an instant, a gust of black wind blew hard as it spiraled around and around, beginning to take a shape of a dragon's head, glaring at Jaden with its red eyes. In an instant, it shot out a destructive blue stream, directing at Jaden, not only taking out his Monster, but also his Life Points.
Jaden: 0
Shadow Rider: Unknown
As Jaden said, "I lost."
The flames continued to cover the whole Field. Then he heard a voice saying "Jaden!" He looked to the side and saw Syrus, Chumley, and Stan being burned by the flames as they desperately tried to put it out from their bodies.
As Chumley asks, "What gives?!"
As Stan asks, "How could you do this to us…?" While trying to extinguish the flames, but it only made it worse.
As Jaden said, "You guys! I'll be right there!" As he tried to make his way to save them but suddenly, he felt something grab his feet and when he looked down, a muddy hand grabbed him from below and started to pull him down to the ground as Jaden he was desperate to save his friends. As he said, "Guys! I'm sorry! I'm–" He couldn't finish his words as the mud has taken him down to the ground, never letting him see light ever again.
(End Flashback)
As Jaden said, "And that's the dream…" He looked down on the water surface. As he said, "And that dream kept haunting me for some reason…"
As Blake said, "Whoa…"
As Alexis said, "Yeah, whoa indeed…" She shared the same expression as Blake.
Chumley glared at Syrus for some reason. As Syrus said, "What!? I asked him because I care!" Looking at the angry Chumley before focusing back onto Jaden. As he said, "Sorry, Jay."
As Jaden said, "Yeah…" Before he completely submerged himself into the hot spring.
As Kenji said, "I think those duels with Camula shook him up more than we thought."
As Blake said, "Yeah, she was the one to actually gain something other than keys in her duels."
As Syrus ask, "Uh Jay?"
As Chumley said, "Way to go!"
All of the sudden, Syrus suddenly straightened up in an instant, causing Stan, Blake, Alexis and Kenji to be confused. As Alexis asks, "Syrus, what's wrong?"
Jaden resurfaced back and from the looks of it, he has a towel on his hand. As he twirled it around, Syrus's face turned sour in an instant.
Realizing it Alexis turned around without looking at them.
As Jaden said, "Hey, guys! look what I found." He began to swim away.
As Syrus said, "Hey, that's my towel!" He began to chase him.
As Jaden said backstroking away from Syrus "Yours? No, yours is dry and fresh! This one's a wet mess!"
As Alexis said with a sweat drop "Sorry I ask…"
At the same time, Stan and Blake saw the Kamen Riders, Sailor Scouts and Ronin Warriors out of their clothes wearing their swimsuits in the pool as they were seem enjoying themselves as Shinji said, "Oh this feels so good," He leaned back as he said, "It heals the aching muscles."
As Kento said, "You said it!"
As Lita said, "We needed this."
As Mina said, "I know."
As Rowan said, "After from all the duels we faced we really need to relax."
As Sage said, "Yeah, we haven't hung out like this in the old days."
As Kazuma said, "That because me and the others were at Duel Academy."
As Ryo said, "Still, it feels like old times."
As Amara said, "Yeah."
As Asumu said, "But, hanging out here feels right."
As Haruto said, "I know."
As Syrus said, "You'll be messing with me if you don't give it! Wait up!" He quickly swam towards Jaden.
Without hesitation, Syrus was suddenly splashed by cold water and to his surprise; it was Chazz who made the splash as he was relaxing on the stone; now being interrupted by them. As Chazz said, "Take a chill pill, short stack!"
As Jaden asks with his usual smile on his face "Hey, what's new, Chazz–a–roo?"
As Chazz said annoyed "That's cute."
Jaden couldn't help but grin wider as he said, "Why, thank you! I thought it all by myself! So, you're here to hang out?"
Chazz scoff and turned away as he said, "With you? Hardly. I'm just here to relax,"
As Stan said, "And a hello to you too, Chazz…"
Chazz looked at Stan with an annoyed look as he asks, "What do you want, Slacker?!"
As Stan said, "I'm just here to say hi, that's all…"
All of the sudden, Chazz just got splashed by Syrus. As Syrus said, "Bleh, and that's just an even better one!" He began to swim away, much to Chazz's dismay.
As Chazz said, "You'll pay for that!"
Syrus teased him again by pretending to be scared, causing Chazz's vein to pop out from his forehead. As he said, "Oh! I don't think so, because that was priceless!"
Chazz now swam after him. As he said, "I'm gonna Chazz you up!"
Leaving the rest of the gang dumbfounded on what to do now. As Jaden asks, "Uh… want a towel?"
As Chumley said, "Nah, I just want to wait for them to get tired… before the Chumster comes in, with a game of tag Marco Polo!" He swam towards the quarrel duo and Jaden submerged himself into the hot spring again.
As Alexis asks, "Aren't you going to join them, Stan?"
As Stan said, "Nope. Because I wanna spend time with you."
Alexis could only let out her smile as both of them held hands and kissed before pulling away.
Jaden emerged back from where he submerged himself earlier.
Meanwhile, another towel became a victim as it was Chazz's towel and both Chumley and Syrus threw at each other, while Chazz tried to get it back from their grasp.
As Jaden asks, "I don't know why these things happen, but dueling used to be for fun, don't you think, Stan?"
As Stan said, "Yeah. But for these Shadow Riders, it's anything but." As he said, "Listen man, these Shadow Riders maybe anything but fun, but you gotta be yourself when you duel. I mean you were yourself when you dueled the Gravekeeper Chief right?"
As Jaden said, "Yeah, I know that, Stan. Now, because of this thing, it's all about winning; cause if I lose, I'll be losing a lot more than just a game…"
Kenji and Blake join them. As Kenji said, "But we can't let that rule our lives," As he said, "Otherwise, we'll really lose everything."
As Blake said, "I agree,"
As Stan said, "Jaden, that dream won't come true if you just be yourself."
As Jaden asks, "But aren't you afraid of losing Alexis to these guys?"
As Stan said, "Of course, but she's strong enough to take care herself in a duel."
As Alexis asks, "These Shadow Duels… they really put everyone's lives on the line, don't they?"
As Stan said, "Yeah…"
All of the sudden, Jaden heard a coo nearby. He looked around and saw Winged Kuriboh heading towards another direction. As Jaden asks, "Winged Kuriboh?"
He began to follow it, leaving Stan, Kenji and Alexis confused as Stan asks, "Jaden, what is it man?"
Kazuma and Ryo stood up. As Stan asks, "Kazuma, Ryo, what's wrong?"
As Kazuma said, "We feel something over there…"
As Ryo said, "Yeah."
As Momotaros said, "Yeah, and I smell something fishy going on around that area with my trusty nose!" As Stan said, "I thought you only smell pudding."
As Momotaros said, "Whatever, I'm gonna go there and check things out for myself!" He ran towards the direction where his nose picked up earlier.
As Ryo said, "Kazuma and I should follow suit, just in case he doesn't do anything rash again…" They tagged along with him.
At this time, both Syrus and Chumley swam towards their direction. As Syrus asks, "Say, Stan, where's Jaden?"
As Chumley asks, "Do you know where he went, Stan?"
But before Stan could even reply to them, Chumley heard another voice as he spotted something from the same place where Jaden heard Winged Kuriboh before. As he asks, "Des Koala?"
As Stan asks, "Huh? What's wrong, Chumley?"
As Chumley said, "Did you see that? I think I just saw Des Koala over there!" He pointed out, causing the five to be confused for a moment.
As Alexis said, "I don't see anything over there, Chumley… maybe it's just the steam that makes you think you saw it…"
Chumley also followed towards to where the koala, have gone to.
As Syrus said, "Hey, Chumley, wait up!" He, Kenji and Blake tagged along with him.
As Alexis said, "Stan… I have a bad feeling about this…"
As Stan said, "Yeah, me too. Let's go." The two eventually ventured on, Chazz tied his towel up tightly to make sure his towel doesn't get taken away from them again.
As Chazz said, "There should be a kiddie pool for those slackers! Or better yet, just wet them down with a hose…"
Before Ojama Yellow appeared next to him as he said, "Yeah, I'm with you boss!"
Causing Chazz to get annoyed by before he slaps away the Ojama to the hot spring. As he said, "You're not with me, you got that? Now, just go on! Get!"
Yellow resurfaced back and looked at its boss, a bit angry. As he said, "Alright, fine! I gotta get to the Spirit Festival anyhow!"
Causing Chazz to gain interest on what he just said. As he asks, "Spirit festival?" While looking at it as he said, "Tell me where it is and lead the way or else, I'm gonna Chazz YOU Up!"
Jaden walked around aimlessly before he noticed the whole place covered in darkness and he continued to look around for a bit. As he asks, "Winged Kuriboh? Where are you, buddy?"
As Stan said, "Hey, Kazuma, Ryo, Momotaros! Where are ya?!" He and Alexis meet up with Jaden as Jaden asks, "Hey, Stan, Alexis! What are you two doing here?" But as he stepped forward, all of the sudden, he was sucked into the hot spring, causing them to be surprised.
As Stan and Alexis said at the same time "Jaden!" They rushed forward to try and help them only to have the same experience with him, by being pulled down to the hot spring, leading them to a place where they wouldn't expect at all. They dove down deep into the water, or rather were sucked into it.
Suddenly, the dark deep began to get brighter the deeper they went. Of course, the trio thought it was a little odd, but they were still being sucked in until they fell into a spot with an open pocket of air. The trio then gasped for air before realizing what they were in. As Jaden said, "Hey!"
Before they saw they were dry and back in their school uniforms, along with their duel disks. As Stan asks, "What the heck?"
As Alexis asks, "How'd this happen?"
As Jaden asks, "Better yet, where are we?"
They looked around, unaware of Duel Monsters coming in behind their sight a one moment, and when they looked, the Monsters weren't there. Then, the trio looked and gasped when they saw a couple of Fairy Type Monsters, making them gasp as well. However, they all soon calmed down when they realized the Duel Monsters weren't after them.
As Stan said, "Uh, hello."
As Alexis said, "Hi."
As Jaden said, "What's up? My name's Jaden and these are my friends Stan and his girlfriend Alexis. Sorry to drop in… er out or… uh…" Until he looked up and saw the hole in the ceiling was blocked by water that somehow looked like the top of the lake. As he said, "Whatever." A
s Alexis asks, "Did we fall from there?"
As Stan said, "I guess so," As he said, "But how'd we end up like this all dry and…? Uh oh." They looked up and saw some dark figures coming through as if they were about to fall out.
As Jaden shouted "INCOMING!" Making him dodge roll one way while Stan and Alexis jumped over to the other side before five figures landed with a thud, making large dust clouds in the process.
As Jaden asks, "Huh?!"
As Alexis asks, "How'd they…?"
They saw Blake, Syrus, Chumley, Kenji and Chazz, all in their uniforms. As Chazz asks, "What's going on here?!"
As Chumley asks, "Huh? How're we back in our clothes?"
As Stan said, "That's what I wanna know," Before he, Alexis, and Jaden noticed something the five who just landed didn't see just yet.
As Syrus said, "My glasses! I can't see without my glasses!" Before struggling to find them, seeing as they had fallen off. As he said, "Uh…guys…"
However, something picked up Syrus' glasses and handed them to him. As Syrus said, "Oh. Thanks, Chumley."
Not seeing that Chumley was in front of him and Syrus was looking behind himself. As Alexis asks, "Anyone have any idea where we are?"
As Stan said, "We're in…"
Before Chumley got up and figured it out as he said, "Some kind of Spirit World,"
Syrus heard Chumley in front of him before putting on his glasses as he said, "Wait a minute…if Chumley is there," He pointed at Chumley as he asks, "Then who's…," He slowly turned around to see Des Koala as he asks, "OOWAAH! Des Koala?!"
As Kenji said, "Rough landing."
As Chazz said, "This is just weird." As he said, "It's like a bunch of Duel Monsters cards have come alive."
As Stan said, "No kidding." He saw Momotaros poke his head out of the water above. As he asks, "Momotaros?!"
As Momotaros said, "Hey! Stan! Get out of the way!"
Before Stan moved Alexis, Blake, Kenji Chumley, Syrus, Chazz, Des Koala, and even Ojama Yellow out of the way before Momotaros and the other Riders, Sailor Scouts, and Ronin Warriors spirits fell from the hole in a huge pile, with Momotaros at the bottom of the heap while the four Ultras floated down.
As Momotaros asks, "Why does this always happen to me?"
Before the Riders, Sailor Scouts, Ronin Warriors, and their friends got up and dusted themselves off they were alive as the Duelists themselves.
As Stan asks, "Guys, what's going on here?"
Decade got up as he said, "Simple. We Duel Spirits now have physical forms thanks to this Spirit World,"
As Sailor Pluto said, "That's even beyond my sight."
As Ojama Yellow asks, "It's cool, huh?"
As Jaden said, "Try bizarre,"
Then they heard a voice asking, "Who're you calling bizarre?"
Surprising them as they turned to see before them what looked like Seto Kaiba in his Battle City outfit with hair that reached his knees, a dragon–head–like helmet, and a new Duel Disk in standby mode.
As Alexis asks, "Whose he?"
As Blade said, "I know who this is."
As Ojama Yellow said, "It's Kaibaman!"
As Ryo said, "How original."
As Jaden asks, "Kaibaman?" They all looked at Kaibaman while the other Duel Spirits in the cave just watched from a distance. As he asks, "As in the Duel Monsters card?"
As Blake asks, "Wait…are you the one that brought us all here, and the one that's in charge of this place?"
As Jaden asks, "Hey! Wait! Or is this some Shadow Rider scheme?"
As Syrus said with a sweet drop "That's a little big of a conclusion to jump to,"
As Kaibaman said, "Hmm. You ask a lot of questions," Before showing off his Duel Disk as he said, "But I'm afraid you won't be getting any answers, unless you take me on in a duel, now!" Then, Kaibaman lowered his now glowing dragon–like Duel Disk before a wing spread open to reveal a playing field.
As Stan said, "I'll take you on!" He took out his deck as Kaibaman said, "Not you, Stan Martin. Jaden Yuki is the one I want to duel."
Jaden just growled ready to take on Kaibaman activating his own Duel Disk.
As Syrus said, "Ah man!"
As Kaibaman said, "And from the looks of you, I'd say you accept my challenge," As he said, "But from what I sense, I'm not so sure; I sense fear. …Yes, deep fear that you'll lose and you and your friends… will pay most dearly!"
As Chumley asks, "What's this guy talking about, Jaden?"
As Alexis asks, "Could he be referencing Jaden's recent nightmares?"
As Syrus asks, "This is about your dream, isn't it, Jaden?"
As Kenji said, "Don't let that discourage you from dueling a Seto Kaiba look–alike."
As Chazz said, "Look if you're all scared, I'll duel him."
As Stan asks, "You couldn't beat Jaden, what makes you think you'll beat Kaibaman?"
As Jaden said, "Stay out of this, guys!" He readied himself to start.
As Kaibaman asks, "No? Not backing down?" Before holding up a familiar dragon card as he said, "Well, then you can look forward to facing this card."
As Jaden asks, "The Blue–Eyes White Dragon?!"
As Chazz said, "That's one powerful beast. On second thought, I think I'll sit this one out,"
As Den–O Axe Form said, "Not many of us can say we could handle him even if we took a shot,"
As Sailor Uranus said, "I hate to say it but even I'm not powerful to take that beast down."
As Anubis said, "Even we Ronin Warriors might have a hard time beating this beast."
As Ultraman said, "The Blue–Eyes might even be a match for us Ultras."
As Blade said, "The Blue–Eyes White Dragon is one of the most powerful cards in Duel Monsters."
As Stan said, "If this is Jaden's fight, I'll let him take it," Stepping back with Alexis.
As Syrus said, "Ah, man."
As Chumley asks, "Can we go back to the pool now?!"
As Stan asks in his thought "Wait a minute? I thought there were only three Blue–Eyes White Dragons in existence. How could this guy have a fourth?"
As Kaibaman said, "What's wrong? You look like you've just seen a ghost, Jaden," He still held the card.
As Jaden said, "Try a nightmare." Before holding up his duel disk as he said, "But still, I won't run!"
As Kaibaman said, "Hmph."
As Jaden said, "Now, Kaibaman, get your game on!"
Both players then drew their starting Hands. As they shouted at the same time "DUEL!"
Jaden: 4000
Kaibaman: 4000
As Jaden said, "Alright then, here goes!" Jaden drew his sixth card, only to slap it onto his disk, as he said, "First, I summon the Elemental Hero Bubbleman in ATK mode!"
Bubbleman appeared. (4/ATK: 800/DEF: 1200).
As Jaden said, "Oh, and if Bubbleman's summoned out, and he's the only monster I have on the field, I get to draw two more cards! Pretty sweet, huh?" He took his new cards from the top of his deck. He looked at them, then slipped one into his disk, as he said, "Especially this one! I play the Equip Spell card Bubble Blaster!"
Bubble Blaster appeared and landed on top of Bubbleman's shoulders, causing Bubbleman to kneel down. (4/ATK: 800–1600/DEF: 1200).
As Chumley said, "Lishus!" As he said, "That gives Bubbleman 800 extra ATK points!"
As Jaden said, "I'll call it a turn with that,"
Chazz folded his arms as he watched the duel, as he said in his thought "Rumors are that Kaibaman was created by Kaiba himself. This could be tough…"
As Jaden said in his thought "Talk about dreams coming true," As he said in his thought "Last night, I dreamt about Blue–Eyes White Dragon, and now, he's gotone! I just hope this doesn't end the same way my nightmare did…" He glanced at his friends, imagining them in pain surrounded by flames, as he said in his thought "…with my friends in deep trouble because I failed. I have to win!"
As Kaibaman said, "Wishing you could back out now? Too late. My move!" He drew his card and smiled at what he just drew, as he said, "I summon forth, myself, Kaibaman!"
Everyone saw a second Kaibaman appearing. (3/ATK: 200/DEF: 700).
As Syrus said, "Whoa… I'm seeing double!"
As Chazz said, "And trouble…"
As Kaibaman said, "Now, I'll offer him to bring out the one, the only…"
As Stan said, "Oh no… here it comes…"
Jaden gasped, knowing what was coming, as he said, "Not him…"
As Kaibaman said, "You better believe it's him!" He held up a card from his Hand, as he said, "I summon the legendary Blue–Eyes White Dragon!"
Every Monster except the Kamen Riders, Sailor Scouts, Ronin Warriors and the Ultras took shelter behind rock formations as a fierce wind picked up just as the second Kaibaman disappeared and what replaced him was the famous dragon owned by Seto Kaiba himself as it roared its signature roar announcing its present. (8/ATK: 3000/DEF: 2500).
As Den–O Gun Form said, "Waa! Look at that!"
As Fourze said, "That's one big dragon…"
As Sailor Moon said, "And scary…" She hides behind Blade.
As Wizard said, "And here I thought the Dragon Phantom in me was big."
As Ultraseven said, "It's big as we are."
As Kaibaman said, "Feast your eyes on the beast that will feast on your soul!"
As Jaden asks, "Our soul?!"
As Chazz said, "This could be a really short duel,"
As Alexis said, "That's only if he fights back somehow…"
As Syrus asks, "3000 ATK points?!"
As Kaibaman said, "Yes, and you'll see them all in action! Blue–Eyes, destroy Bubbleman!" As he said, "White Lighting!"
Blue–Eyes opened its mouth and fired off its signature attack, a stream of bluish–white electrical energy. The powerful blast engulfed Bubbleman completely.
As Jaden said, "Hold it, Kaibaman!" As he said, "Since my Bubbleman is equipped with Bubble Blaster, the Blaster takes the hit and my Bubbleman is safe!"
The Bubble Blaster was destroyed in an instant.
As Blake said, "So Jaden doesn't take any Damage, for now."
Chumley nodded as he said, "Yeah, but since the Equip Spell is gone, Bubbleman's ATK points go back to normal. That isn't good when you're facing down a Blue–Eyes White Dragon!"
(4/ATK: 1600–800/DEF: 1200).
As Jaden said, "Alright, my turn again!" He drew his card as he said, "Now, I'll be turning two monsters into one. I play Polymerization to fuse my Bubbleman and my Elemental Hero Clayman to create the Elemental Hero Mudball Man in DEF mode!"
Jaden's Monsters appeared and went into the clear vortex before coming out as Mudball Man. He landed in front of him, kneeling and arms crossed protectively. (6/ATK: 1900/DEF: 3000).
As Jaden said, "Take that!"
As Stan said, "Oh boy… Jaden must have a pretty bad Hand at this point."
As Kaibaman said, "No, I'll take this!" He drew his card as he said, "I play the Spell card Pot of Greed! This lets me draw two more cards," He reached down and drew his new cards, as he said, "But, I'll only need one. I play the Spell card, Burst Stream of Destruction!"
Jaden blinked, confused, as he asks, "Isn't that an attack that the Blue–Eyes uses?"
As Chazz said, "Yeah," As he asks, "But what's the deal with it being a card?"
As Kenji said, "It like the Red–Eyes card Inferno Fire Blast."
As Kaibaman said, "You're about to find out," As he said, "You see, I can only activate this card when a Blue–Eyes is out, but since he is, I can use it to destroy all your monsters!"
As Jaden asks, "What?!"
As Kaibaman said, "Go!" As he said, "Destroy Mudball Man with Burst Stream of Destruction!"
Another orb of crackling energy appeared out of Kaibaman's card and flew straight forward, striking Mudball Man hard in the chest. Mudball Man screamed before exploding, creating a big cloud of smoke.
As Chumley said, "No!"
As Syrus said, "With that blast, Jaden doesn't have a monster and when Blue–Eyes attacks…" He grabbed his head as he said, "Oh man…"
As Chazz said, "Read the fine print, slackers. On the turn that Burst Stream of Destruction is played, Blue–Eyes White Dragon can't attack."
As Kaibaman said, "It's won't matter…" As he said, "I summon Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands in ATK mode!"
A disfigured Monster with a face countless limbs and hands appeared on the Field. (4/ATK: 1400/DEF: 1000).
As Kaibaman said, "Now, he'll lend me a hand," As he said, "Because when he's summoned, he allows me to take a Ritual Monster or a Ritual Spell card from my Deck and add it to my Hand…" He fanned out his Deck and looked through it until he picked one out, as he said, "But it won't stay in my Hand for long, because I'll be playing it. I play the Ritual card known as White Dragon Ritual! I sacrifice my Manju to summon Paladin of White Dragon!"
In Manju's place, hovering above Kaibaman, a man in white armor carrying a lance appeared, sitting on top of a small pale dragon. (4/ATK: 1900/DEF: 1200).
As Kaibaman said, "Like I said, it won't matter that Blue–Eyes can't attack this turn, because with Paladin, he doesn't need to! He'll fill in for Blue–Eyes just fine," As he said, "Sure, it's not a Dragon, but he's managed to tame one, and in my book that's tough enough! Now, Paladin of White Dragon, attack with Ionic Spear Burst!"
The smaller Dragon roared and flew at Jaden as Paladin reared back its lance and thrust forward with energy swirling around the lance. Jaden yelled as the attack went right through him.
Jaden: 2100
Kaibaman: 4000
As Syrus said, "Jaden!"
As Alexis said, "That's not good." As she said, "Jaden needs to mount up a defense or his Life Points is gone for good!"
As Kaibaman said, "I'm not done yet," Paladin returned to his side of the Field.
As Kaibaman said, "By sacrificing my Paladin of White Dragon, I can summon a Monster from my Hand or Deck, and it's one you're already quite familiar with! Care to guess which, Jaden?"
Jaden gritted his teeth as he said, "Actually… no…"
As Kaibaman said, "Let me give you some hints then," His Paladin disappeared, as he said, "It's got blue eyes… white scales…,"
Another Blue–Eyes White Dragon appeared next to his first one, as Kaibaman said, "The Blue–Eyes White Dragon!"
(8/ATK: 3000/DEF: 2500).
As Jaden asks, "Another?!" As Syrus said, "This is bad!" As he said, "Dealing with one was bad enough! Now Jaden's gotta face two?!"
As Blake said, "Hey Yugi faced all three and he still beat Kaiba."
As Syrus said, "Yeah, but that's Yugi! This is Jaden, we're talking about!"
As Chazz said, "That card created by Kaiba is a chip off the old block," As he said, "Jaden better hope that that Deck of his isn't an exact copy, or else he's in for it!"
As Kaibaman said, "It's your move, Jaden…"
As Jaden said, "About time. Now," He drew his card as he said, "I'll play Monster Reincarnation!"
As Chumley said, "Lishus!" As he said, "By discarding a card from his Hand, he can bring back a Monster from the Grave!"
As Jaden said, "Goodbye Elemental Hero Necroshade…" He slipped the card into his Graveyard, then pulled another one out, as he said, "…and hello Elemental Hero Clayman!"
As Kaibaman said, "Going to try behind that puny Monster again? Pathetic,"
As Jaden said, "No way!" As he said, "I don't have to hide anymore! Even though I'm glad to have Clayman back, I'm even happier to see Necroshade in my Graveyard, because with him there, I can Special Summon a high level Monster without a sacrifice! And the one I choose is the Elemental Hero Bladedge!"
Bladedge appeared, flexing his blades. (7/ATK: 2600/DEF: 1800).
As Syrus said, "But as strong as his Bladedge is, he's still no match for those Blue–Eyes White Dragons!"
As Jaden said, "Not anymore, because I play the Field Spell, Skyscraper!" He played the Field Spell and tall building rose up from the ground. As he said, "And when an Elemental Hero attacks a Monster stronger than my opponent's, then that Elemental Hero will gain 1000 ATK points!"
(7/ATK: 2600–3600/DEF: 1800).
As Jaden said, "Now, Bladedge, attack with Slice 'n Dice Attack!"
Bladedge soared past one of the Blue–Eyes, and its arm blade cut deep into the second Dragon's neck, letting a bright light out of the wound before the Dragon exploded. Kaibaman grunted as he was surrounded by smoke.
Jaden: 2100
Kaibaman: 3400
As Chazz said staring at Jaden "Wow… Jaden actually did it…"
As Stan said, "Yeah, but there's two more of those dragons at Kaibaman's disposal."
As Jaden said, "I'll throw down a facedown and end my turn," Bladedge came back to Jaden's side as Jaden said, "…and to think, I was worried I'd lose. Well, not anymore!"
As Kaibaman asks, "Is that so?"
As Jaden said, "For sure!" As he said, "I'm so over my fear! The trick is to take what your fear does and not let it happen!"
As Kaibaman said, "Not let it happen? Anything could happen…"
As Jaden asks, "Huh?"
As Kaibaman said, "You actually think because you beat my Blue–Eyes, you've won this duel? That you've avoided the defeat that you fear? Think again! You're a long way from winning this contest and Blue–Eyes is a long way from being beat!"
As Jaden said, "I don't believe you!"
As Kaibaman said, "It's true, like it not. The fate of you and the fate of your friends still hang in the balance, you have to accept that and face it head on!"
As Jaden asks, "What is this?"
As Kaibaman said, "This is what dueling is all about! Not afraid of the thought of defeat, but to be always prepared to accept it."
Blade's eyes widened as he said, "I think I got a pretty good idea on what's going on now…"
As OOO said, "I'm starting to get the idea too."
As Ultraman said, "Me too."
As Sailor Mars asks, "Huh? What do you mean by that?"
As Blade said, "Just watch, Raye."
As Kaibaman said, "That is the nature of dueling, and it is high time that you learn it!" He drew his card as he said, "I activate Silent Doom to Special Summon Blue–Eyes White Dragon from my Graveyard in DEF mode." The dragon reappeared on the Field. As he said, "Then I activate Polymerization!"
As Jaden said, "Uh oh…"
As Kuuga said, "He fell for it."
As Agito said, "And it's not gonna be pretty."
As Chazz said, "It is the same!"
As Syrus asks, "What's the same?"
As Chazz said, "Kaibaman's deck," As he said, "It's the same deck as Seto Kaiba's,"
Jaden glanced at Chazz, then back at the duel as he said, "Then that means…"
As Kaibaman said, "It means I can fuse every single one of my three Blue–Eyes White Dragons to call upon the almighty and the powerful, Blue–Eyes Ultimate Dragon!"
Everyone gasped as the three Blue–Eyes White Dragons swirled into a bright, glowing orb, only to emerge into a great three–headed dragon. (12/ATK: 4500/DEF: 3800).
As Kaibaman said, "Allow me to introduce the most powerful, mighty and devastating Dragon of them all!"
Jaden stared at the dragon as flashbacks from the night before came back to him. The beast that fired blue flames at him from the shadowy recesses of the duel.
As Den–O Wing Form said, "Oh my…"
As Jaden said, "The Monster from my dream! It can't be!"
As Kaibaman said, "It can be, and it is!" As he said, "And it gets even worse. That dream you dreamt? It will now become a reality! Now, go! Blue–Eyes Ultimate Dragon, attack with Neutron Blast!"
As Jaden said pressing a button on his disk "No you don't!" As he said, "Go, Trap card! Edge Hammer! By sacrificing Bladedge, I get to destroy one of your Monsters, and you take Damage equal to that Monster's ATK points!"
Bladedge flew straight for the Neutron Blast attack.
As Jaden asks, "You said I should be afraid of losing?" Blue–Eyes Ultimate Dragon was engulfed into a huge cloud of smoke, as he said, "I don't think so!"
The bystanders protected their eyes from the smoke and dust from the shockwave.
As Syrus said, "He did it!"
As Kenji said, "Yes!"
As Blake said, "Nice job!"
As Chumley said, "Way to go!" But when the smoke clear as he shouted "HUH?!"
As Kaibaman said, "If you won't accept defeat," He held up a card he managed to play before the blast, as he said, "I guess I'll have to force it on you,"
Jaden's eyes went wide as he saw the image on the card, as he asks, "De–Fusion?!"
As Kaibaman said, "That's right. With this card, I can bring back my dragons into the Graveyard, and then revert my Fusion Monster back to its normal pre–Fusion form, so welcome back the three Blue–Eyes White Dragons!"
The three Blue–Eyes flew around Kaibaman. (8/ATK: 3000/DEF: 2500) x3.
As Decade said, "He done it this time…"
As the right side of W said, "Yep. Overkill on Kaibaman's part."
As Kabuto said, "It's over…"
As Zoffy said, "Jaden lost."
As Ultraman Jack said, "But that's not a bad thing."
As Kaibaman said, "Since Edge Hammer's target wasn't there anymore, it swung and miss! Something that my Blue–Eyes won't be doing! Go, my Dragons, attack with White Lightning!"
The three Blue–Eyes White Dragons unleashed their attacks onto Jaden hit him dead on. On contact, the field exploded, sending up a huge cloud of smoke as Kaibaman laughed triumphantly.
As Syrus said, "No!"
As Chumley said, "Jaden!"
As Chazz asks, "What gives?!"
Jaden: 0
Kaibaman: 3400
Jaden opened his eyes to find himself lying on the ground of the Spirit Cave, Winged Kuriboh hovering nearby. As he said, "Syrus! Chumley! Stan! Alexis! Blake! Kenji!" Scrambling to his feet, and looked around, only to find that his friends were just fine.
They were surrounded by the Kamen Riders, Sailor Scouts, Ronin Warriors, Ultras and Duel Monster spirits.
Suddenly, pain shot through Jaden's chest and Jaden winced, holding it, still feeling the damage from the combined power of the Blue–Eyes. Kaibaman walked up to him, arms folded across his chest.
As Kaibaman said, "Defeat is nothing to be scared of Jaden," As he said, "What matters is that you can get up after,"
Jaden looked up at him as he asks, "Wait, so you're telling me that this whole duel was just for that?!"
As Kaibaman asks, "Tell me, are you afraid now?"
As Jaden said, "Actually…" As he said, "No, I'm really not,"
As Kaibaman asks, "Then, do you know why?" As he said, "Because you faced it. You lost and you're okay."
As Jaden said, "Yeah…I am, huh?"
Kaibaman turned his head as Jaden's friends came running up to him, as he said, "So are your friends."
As Jaden said, "Guys, I think I'm finally over my bad dream!"
As Stan said, "Well good for you Jaden."
Chazz crossed his arms as he said, "Yeah, well I'm over this place. Can we please get out of this Spirit Cave? It's way low–rent,"
As Jaden asks, "Uh…Kaibaman?" He turned around as he said, "Think you can help us out here… huh?"
Kaibaman wasn't there anymore and everyone looked around the cave.
As Alexis asks, "Where'd he go?"
As Blake said, "There!" Pointing behind Jaden, towards a thick mist that seemed to fill the cave.
Everyone watched as the fading form of Kaibaman walked away. As Kaibaman said, "If you want a way outta here, you should ask your friend Kuriboh," Kaibaman looked over his shoulder at them, as he said, "After all, he's the one that brought you here," He turned back and started walking away, as he said, "Goodbye, Jaden…"
Kuriboh flew between the boys and hooted quickly and loudly.
Jaden stared at him as he asks, "Really, Kuriboh? Just close our eyes and wish for it?"
Kuriboh hooted again. As Jaden said, "Oh…" He closed his eyes, and his friends followed suit.
As Syrus said, "I really wanna go back home!"
As Syrus said, "This is the first time I've left the wading pool feeling tenser than I did when I came in!" He and the others crossed the bridge while the sun set, as he said, "It's good to be back where monsters like Des Koala, Winged Kuriboh, the Kamen Riders, Sailor Scouts, Ronin Warriors and the Ultras are just cards, right guys?"
What Syrus didn't know was that Des Koala was walking behind Chumley, back in its spirit form, while Kuriboh flapped its small wings near Jaden's head while the Kamen Riders and Sailor Scouts walked behind Stan and the Ronin Warriors walking behind Blake and the Ultras behind Kenji.
As Jaden said, "I know what I know, Kuriboh," Jaden turned to his friend, as he said, "I know who I owe a big fat thank you to…"
Kuriboh hooted happily.
As Alexis said, "Well, I'm glad that's over."
As Stan said, "Uh–huh. Like I said Jaden, just be yourself when you duel."
As Jaden said, "Yeah, I guess I should've listened huh." As he said, "Oh, by the way Sy, I still got your towel!"
As Syrus said, "What?! Give it back!"
As Jaden said, "Sure!"
A slap sound was heard as Syrus shouted "OW! HEY!"
Stan, Blake, Kenji, Alexis and Chumley laughed at that.
