Everyone stared at Lila; some glared, some just looked shocked, others looked hurt.

"Lila…"

"I tried to get here as fast as I could, but I was on a video call with Prince Ali. He wanted to talk to me about an upcoming charity ball, and he wanted to take me as his date!"

"I was on a video call with Prince Ali! He wanted to see the Jagged Stone interview!" Rose exclaimed, pouting as she stomped her foot.

"D-did I say Prince Ali? I meant-!"

"Lila-" Kim began, looking heartbroken.

"Have you been lying to us?" Max continued, pushing up his glasses that had slid down due to him looking at his feet for several minutes.

"W-what? No! Marinette's just being a bully again! She even gave me the wrong time!"

"I was the one who gave you the time," Alya said, talking as if she wasn't really there.

After Marinette had been expelled, the blogger had been skeptical of Lila, but part of her had really wanted to believe that Marinette had just been jealous.

"Jagged Stone didn't even know who you were! He's never even had a kitten!" Alix yelled, glaring at Lila, "You lied to us!"

"N-no! I didn't! Marinette and Adrien are just trying to make you hate me because they're jealous!" Lila said shakily, her hands out in front of her as she backed away slowly.

Marinette could sense that something bad was on the edge of the horizon, and thus slipped out the door discreetly, no one evening paying attention to her because all eyes were on Lila.

"Stop talking bad about our best friends!" Nino and Alya exclaimed at the same time.

"Was any of it true?" Mylène asked, hugging herself.

"Of course it is! Everything is true! I just mix up names sometimes because of the amnesia I got after falling into a river when I was trying to save a little boy!"

"Stop it!" Juleka screamed, surprising everyone, "Just stop it!"

"Why did we ever listen to you? Marinette was right," Nathaniel said, stating what everyone else had been tiptoeing around.

"And we didn't believe her," Ivan continued solemnly.

"Don't you think you've done enough, Sausage Hair?" Chloé sneered, her arms crossed and her nose high in the air.

"Yeah!" Sabrina chimed in.

"You should go, Lila," Adrien spoke, pushing past his classmates to stand in front.

Lila spluttered a moment more before turning away from the hateful glare. As she looked up, she gasped when she saw Ladybug's yo-yo an inch away from her face.

"L-ladybug?"

The heroine pressed a button on her yo-yo, releasing the purified akuma that could never reach its target.

"Bye-bye, little butterfly."

Lila glared at her while the others gazed on in surprise that she was here and knew that an akuma was about to be made.

"Ladybug? How'd you know there was about to be an akuma?" Alya asked, her phone already out and recording.

"I was on patrol with Chat Noir when we noticed the akuma. He waited on the rooftops in case I couldn't purify it in time."

Ladybug looked at Adrien, who winked at her at their inside joke.

"Ladybug, can I ask you a question or two? It's really important."

Lila was forced to step back as Ladybug entered the room. Then, with the focus no longer on her, even for a moment, Lila slipped out of the room, running away.

"That girl that you just saved from the akuma...do you know her?"

"Yes, I do."

The class suppressed sighs of relief, but that was short-lived as Ladybug continued.

"She lied about being my best friend, and then she was akumatized into Volpina when I called her out. She then became Chameleon later on, but I wasn't sure why for that time. Then, she aided Oni-Chan by feigning an injury so as to separate me from Chat Noir as he escorted her to safety. A paramedic checked her out and she had no such injury; no injuries at all. Again, I can't fathom why she would do such a thing."

Ladybug crossed her arms over her chest, genuinely annoyed as she recounted everything Lila had done relating to akumas.

"S-she aided an akuma? As in, she wasn't under Hawkmoth's control?"

"The only control she was under was her own. I'm really sorry, but I must leave; Chat Noir is still waiting for me. Bug out!"

With that, Ladybug swung away, leaving the door open to let the cold air in and chill the class. Both she and Adrien would agree that the night hadn't exactly gone to plan; Lila was supposed to slowly fall from the spotlight, not be ripped from it all at once.

Ladybug wondered for only a moment what Lila would do before she heard a loud crash and a lot of screaming.

Ladybug bolted across the rooftops towards the sound, and Chat Noir joined her a few moments later.

"How'd you get away?" she called out over the wind.

"I'm an alley cat; I can slink away from anything by slipping into the shadows at the right time! I thought you had purified the akuma!"

"I did! Hawkmoth must have sent out another one!"

Ladybug is thrown back by something invisible, sending her spiraling off the roof and landing harshly on the road below.

"M'lady!"

However, when Chat looked over the edge in horror, he saw nothing.

"Ladybug?" he called out.

But there was nothing there; no akuma and no Ladybug. What was going on?

Ladybug tried desperately to get Chat's attention while she struggled to get back up, her bones screaming at her from the blunt force. Strangely, he looked right over her as if she wasn't even there before disappearing. She heard him calling her name, and she called back as she swung back up onto the roof. But, yet again, it was as if she wasn't there. Even worse, she tried to tap his shoulder but her finger just went through him. She yanked her hand back, startled, but he gave no reaction.

"Have you figured it out yet, Ladybug?"

The heroine whipped around, spinning her yo-yo to form a shield. Lila sauntered up to her, a coy smile on her face.

"Lila! What did you do? Why can't Chat Noir see me?"

"I guess not, then. Because of you and that annoying Marinette girl, my classmates have now turned against me. They're going to cast me out as if all my hard work to get to the top never existed, is invisible now. I'm invisible now."

Ladybug's eyes trained on the girl as she got closer, and she noticed that Lila's outline was strange, as if it was static. Falling into a defensive position, Ladybug took a few steps back, shuddering only slightly as she walked through Chat. He was still calling out for her, and she wished that she could somehow get his attention.

"Why can't he see me? Why am I able to-"

"Pass through him?" Lila asked, doing just the same, advancing on Ladybug even further, "It's so simple that even you should have been able to get it; you're invisible now, too."
