A/N: Sorry its been awhile, hit a writer's block on how to connect ideas. Hopefully I can update more often again.

Chapter 44

Josh's POV

It's thanksgiving day, and looking around the room, I'm amazed at the changes the last year has held.

Last year, this was my parents' house, and all my siblings were here. Today, I'm living here with my WIFE and preparing for our baby. Instead of joking siblings, we have all our friends over tonight. Cory, Topanga, Shawn and Katy are still here, but they are the grandparents of the room now.

"Time to eat" Topanga calls.

We all head into the kitchen to fix our plates, and to find a seat at one of the two tables. We had to add an extra table this year to fit everyone.

"Before we eat, I'd like us to go around the table and share something we are thankful for this year. This year has seen a lot of changes, and I think we need to give gratitude where it is due." Katy spoke up.

"This year I saw my family grow. I gained a daughter I never dreamed I'd have, and I gained a son-in-law, plus a grandbaby on the way." Shawn started.

"I'm thankful that all our kids have found their persons. Its hard to see your kids grow up, but it helps to know they have found their true loves." Topanga shared.

"I'm thankful that Riley, Maya, Farkle, Lucas and Zay have graduated, and I can finally teach my own class by the lesson plan." Cory laughed.

"I'm thankful for Maya, and that Ma and Dad gave us this house instead of us having to struggle like most newlyweds. I'm thankful we could open our home to all of you this year. I'm sad that they got caught in snow and couldn't make it home." I shared.

"I'm thankful for Lilly Kate, the sister I always dreamed about. I'm also thankful that she will be able to be a close confidant to our little peanut." Maya said.

"I'm thankful for the changes this year has brought. My sister is now my aunt, but I couldn't be happier for Maya and Uncle Josh, especially since they are making me an aunt." Riley commented.

"I'm thankful that we are all here together, in good health, and that your family includes me and is expanding." Lucas stated.

"I'm thankful to have this family who enjoys being together and includes me." Ava expressed.

"I'm thankful that I'm not the youngest anymore." Auggie laughed.

"I'm thankful that everyone has been so welcoming to me and the girls. I never dreamed that Zay and I would be getting married this year, or moving the girls to Philly with us. We could never have done this without your help and comfort." Vanessa shared.

"I'm thankful for the listening ears and words of advice as I talked to each of you these last couple of months. Your help and advice has helped me step up to the role of husband and father that has came this year." Zay added.

"We are thankful for Nessie and ZaZa and that we get to live with them in our new house!" A little voice pipped up from the kids table.

"I'm so thankful that I am sitting here with my family this year. This year has been full of challenges and life changing moments, but I wouldn't change a thing." Katy closed.

"Now let's eat... before baby changes her mind on being hungry." Maya stood up to start the line.

"You mean his mind." I laughed, joining my wife in line to fix our plates.

"He or She, whichever they are. I'm just enjoying the fact that I'm currently not nauseous, and am actually starving. Food first, then to plan our shopping adventure." Maya countered.
