"how am I going to get out of here?" was all I could ask as I had yet another failed attempt at flying due to the massive amount of pain I was still in. I knew I couldn't stay here at the castle due to being inside of the most deadly forest in all of Equestria... but I also wasn't able to leave for many other reasons such as said most deadly forest in all of Equestria.
Picking myself up from my final attempt at trying to fly through the pain I began to pace around trying to think of both a way out of here... and why I was here. I mean seriously it's not everyday anypony simply hears a voice in their head and walk through a door said voice most likely was the reason for its appearance... and yet I idiotically did it anyway without even thinking of where it was taking me! I mean seriously what in the name of Tartarus was I thinking?!
I went to rub my head as I felt the beginning of a migraine form before my hoof touched the small horn on my head. Thoughts went to when I discovered it earlier...
running around panicking about where I ended up before tripping down a small group of stairs before landing on my flank... rubbing my head to get the pain away when my hoof touched the new inclusion added to my body which I somehow never noticed... "what the buck?!"
I couldn't help but give a dry chuckle at my reaction to having a horn on my head despite knowing what was happening to me... and said thoughts began to drift towards Celestia... I couldn't help but cry as I still had no idea how to deal with what transpired in Canterlot. Why would she keep such an important piece of information from me? How did I not even notice the horn on my head, to begin with?! I collapsed onto the cold stone floor as I cried into my hooves. "all I want are answers..." I choked out as I simply continued to cry.
For a few minutes, I laid there in such a state... when I noticed a small glow coming from in front of me behind my hooves. Slowly moving my hooves out of the way I noticed a blue orb floating not far away from my face. "uh... hi?" I spoke with uncertainty.
"answers." I then heard in my voice. I quickly looked around only to realize that it was coming from the thing that was floating in front of me. I stood up from where I was and watched as it floated up until it was the same length from my face as it was just a moment ago. "answers."
"uh... yeah... answers..." I responded still not knowing what was happening.
"answers..." I watched as it began to move down the hallway at a slow pace, leaving a trail of blue mist behind it as I began to follow it cautiously still unsure if this was a good idea... but then sighed.
"well, I'm already in trouble no doubt so why not..." I followed the blue orb for what seemed like forever as I found it would wait for me when I tripped and fell over and started to move again when I got back up on my hooves. Soon though we stopped in an empty hallway as I found myself confused as to where and why we stopped. As I was about to question and hopefully get an answer from the orb I watched as it floated over to the wall on the left and seemed to latch onto it with multiple blue tendrils that popped out from all over it.
I watched fascinated as what seemed to be a large circle filled up with drawings and what appeared to be writing appear. I watched with an open mouth as the tendrils seemed to plant themselves into empty circles spread throughout the large... whatever this thing was. Once the last tendril seemed to be planted the tendrils began to move in different directions as I watched all the drawings and writing start to form into what looked like yet another picture... once it finished though it looked like something I saw recently on a stained glass window up in Canterlot in one of the more unused wings.
A sun and moon were in the middle overlapping one another slightly to create an oval in-between them. Where said sun and moon were located was the middle of a large tree right where all the large branches started forming. I looked further to find a heart not far upwards from the sun and moon inside of a shield. Further up I could notice the starts in-between all the branches and different sections of the tree with a large star at the top surrounded by multiple others which I couldn't tell from where I was. Just as quickly as the picture came to be through it was gone just as fast as the wall where it was seemed to start to collapse outwards of itself. I watched the bricks slowly enter one another before they created a doorway that looked as if it was always there before.
"uh, just where are we going anyway?" I decided to quickly ask as the orb seemed to reabsorb the tendrils and start to move into the stairwell that made its way downwards.
"answers." It once more replied in my voice as I gave a small sigh as I once more began to follow the orb down into a stairway somehow lit by torches.
"of course there are..."
