Hello everyone! Nic here. I'm sorry that this isn't an update. I'm working on a huge piece of my little AU puzzle as we speak, however, last night I made a HORRIFYING discovery.
If you've read the Chapters Elements of Secrecyand Out of the Black before my dumbass went back and changed shit, then you're good. They should have been read in that order. However, when I was going back and checking things, I found three terrifying errors that made me want to snap my own neck.
Chapter 39 and 40 were duplicates of each other, and, therefore, some readers missed a MAJOR part of my story. I'm sorry for that.
Chapter 46 Everlasting had a disgusting glitch where it was not only a duplicate of another chapter, but it was also cut down to a mere 1,000 words.
The dates following Chapter 40 were all WRONG.
See guys, this is what I mean when I say I'm an unorganized mess of a human being. I've made awful mistakes, and I'm sorry to anyone who's had to read through them. Y'ALL IF SOMETHING SEEMS OFF, PLEASE TELL ME. THERE SHOULD NOT BE 20 CHAPTERS IN A ROW FOR THE YEAR 1977 NOR SHOULD THERE BE TWO COPIES OF A SINGLE CHAPTER NOR SHOULD A CHAPTER CUT OFF MID SENTENCE. TELL ME WHEN YOU SEE THESE THINGS. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.
Anyways, I think I've fixed most of the issues, but this weekend I'm going back and doing a thorough look through just to be sure.
Thanks everyone. I advise that, if you've read through this story within the last ten days, to go back to chapters 39,40, and 46 as they are now updated and, for the most part, correct. Also, someone from my real life found my fanfiction, so I had to change my username.
