"Call me Délavée," she sneered, advancing further on Ladybug.

"Yield your akuma, Lila!"

"Lila's gone. Humiliated by her peers, she's hidden away, so I get to play. It is so much more fun this way."

Ladybug narrowed her eyebrows, glaring at the girl.

"No one will let you lie anymore; deal with it. All you're doing is making things worse for you."

"Shut up! You know nothing! How can you see any of the real world while up high on your pedestal?"

"You're overwhelmed, Lila. I get it; I've been there. But you don't have to work with Hawkmoth in order for things to get better." Ladybug said.

"Of course I have to. He's given me what I've wanted, hasn't he? He's always been fair in our agreements, even when I fail because of you. I get power, and all I have to do in return is give him your miraculous!"

Délavée charged at Ladybug, trying to grab her earrings. The heroine jumps back, genuinely disturbed. For every other akuma, they didn't look quite human, excluding Mr. Pigeon, Timebreaker, Copycat, Lady WiFi, Antibug, and Volpina. Why was it so different when Délavée glared at Ladybug with pure hatred? Was it that, the way that Ladybug could see her, she wasn't wearing a mask over her face? Mr. Pigeon didn't have a mask, just a weird skin-tight suit that covered his hair and not his face. But, he wasn't really a threat; Ladybug found him funny more than anything from his appearance to motive. So what is it?

Délavée snarled, and that was when Ladybug got why it sent shivers down her spine. The akuma looked exactly the same as Lila, from her face to her hairstyle to her clothes. In fact, the heroine was sure that the girl would make the same face at her, with or without the akuma. That was it; Ladybug could chalk up to other akumas' hateful, evil glares as corruption by Hawkmoth, but before her was all Lila with a power to turn people invisible. Hawkmoth was intervening in no other way.

Chat Noir looked around, his baton at the ready. He was really starting to freak out because he couldn't see Ladybug; in fact, he couldn't see anyone. The empty streets were just...creepy, sending shivers down his spine. He knew his lady wouldn't be playing a prank on him; not only was she in the mask but there was an akuma. Where was the akuma? What was going on? Why was nothing trying to fling him across Paris or take his miraculous?

Ladybug hesitantly decided to leave Chat where he was, and with the akuma that he couldn't see no less. She tried to swing away, but her yo-yo wouldn't wrap around anything; it would just fly straight through. Instead, she settled to just run somewhere to hide momentarily. Opening the camera on her yo-yo, she saw that, for the most part, she was invisible even on the screen. But, if she squinted, she could see her own static outline. The camera could pick that up! Hoping that the next thing would work as well, she texted Chat Noir, telling him to use his own camera.

Not a moment later, Chat was calling her.

"M'lady? Where are you?"

"Chat! Thank goodness! Listen to me, never stop moving and make yourself impossible to be hit. I'm going to come find you again and I'll explain everything."

She could hear him running, doing unnecessary jumps to avoid something that he clearly couldn't see. Ladybug, still on the phone with him, ran out, able to see him sprinting across the rooftops.

"Why can't I see you anymore? Did you fall into a different plane before you could hit the ground? Is the new akuma like Pixelator?"

"Not exactly, Kitty. I can see you; I'm still here. But the akuma's powers make herself and anyone she can touch invisible."

"Is that why I can't see any civilians?"

"Yes, Ladybug replied, still on the ground because she couldn't see a way to get up, "Chat, I need you to jump down. I'm on the road, and I can't get to you-"

Ladybug's head was suddenly slamming into the ground, her yo-yo flying away.

"There you are! You can't go double-invisible, Ladybug!" Délavée exclaimed cheerfully.

The heroine struggled to get up, her bones and now her head aching, though the pain was dulled due to her suit. Caught without her yo-yo, Ladybug just held up her fists, more than ready to punch Délavée as she had done for Volpina while in Gamer 2.0's game.

"Ladybug? Ladybug! What's going on?" Chat shouted, his voice echoing through the yo-yo.

He looked around fearfully, stressed that he heard her get hurt but couldn't see her. Ladybug looked at Délavée for a moment before diving towards her weapon.

"Chat Noir! Point your camera at the streets! And, whatever you do, don't get hit!"

Ladybug hung up before flinging her yo-yo into the air.

"Lucky charm!"

A spray-paint can formed, but dropped through her hands when she tried to grab it. Luckily, Chat had been able to see the can, not to mention the familiar glow of his lady's power at work. Ladybug, though she couldn't pick it up, knew what needed to be done with it. Délavée had put emphasis on her statement, saying that Ladybug couldn't go double-invisible. She had a guess that, if Chat could spray her, the akumatized object would be visible, and she could destroy it. If she was wrong about how Délavée's powers worked, well, she'd then have to figure out how else to use the lucky charm.

Chat did as Ladybug had told him, and used his camera to look at the streets below him. At first, he saw clusters of static outlines of what looked like people. Then, a few feet away, he could see two figures fighting, making his adrenaline spike. Leaping down, Chat stepped closer, unable to discern exactly who the outlines belonged to, staying far enough away to not be touched by them in case one was the akuma.

Ladybug, hoping that Chat could figure out what she needed him to do, tackled Délavée so that she couldn't make Chat invisible, too. He wouldn't be able to use the lucky charm then. The two began throwing punches and kicks, both trying to get the other to render the other still and not a threat. Chat approached, but he just seemed confused, looking through the camera. Ladybug tilts her head towards him, thus receiving a blow to her face that stung. Frustrated, she stuck her arm out as much as she could while pinned under Délavée, pointing to the spray can. All she could do was hope that he was able to tell that it was her as she dug her feet into the akuma's ribcage before launching her off.

Chat Noir didn't really get the message, but he spun around anyway and scooping up the spray can.

"What does Ladybug want me to do with this?"

Délavée went to grab him, but Ladybug tackled her once again, throwing them both against a street post, which turned invisible because Délavée had touched it with her hand. That confirmed for Chat that at least one of the two figures was the akuma. He just hoped that the other person wouldn't mind getting sprayed a little bit as well. He sprinted towards them, can and baton at the ready. Extending his arm, he pressed down, spraying both girls. From his perspective, nothing happened, the paint just went through. He checked the camera, and they were still in front of him.

Ladybug was grinning as she approached Délavée, her yo-yo swinging, ready to end it. Yes, to Chat, nothing happened. But, now, Ladybug could see red static on the akuma's wrist that looked like the ribbon bracelets that Lila always wore. Chat, panicked, did the only thing he could think of to still try and help: activating his own power.

"Cataclysm!"

Ladybug was hoping he would do that. She grabbed the akuma by the arm, flipping her so that she was on her back on the ground. She then yanked her arm up to right in front of Chat's hand. Pressing it against the cataclysm, the akuma was released.

"No more evil-doing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!"

Ladybug swung her yo-yo capturing and purifying the akuma. Pressing a button, she releases it in its white form.

"Bye-bye, little butterfly."

However, no one was visible again. Ladybug stepped in front of Chat's camera, pointing at the paint can still in his hand before miming tossing it in the air.

Chat only knew that the akuma was defeated because the black moth had appeared out of seemingly nowhere, it disappeared for a moment, then reemerged as a white butterfly. The static outline standing in front of him kinda looked like his lady, so he did as she wanted him to. He tossed the can into the air.

"Miraculous ladybug!" Ladybug exclaimed.

Luckily, it worked. Her magic began fixing everything, including making everything and everyone visible. Chat grabbed Ladybug in a vice-grip embrace, adrenaline still controlling him. When he saw that he was hurting her, he let go, smiling awkwardly and scratching the back of his head. The two then looked over at Lila, who was on the ground, glaring at them. Ladybug walked over, getting down on one knee to be eye-level with her.

"Lila, I'm going to say this as bluntly as possible so that it will get to you. You have to stop. Stop with the lies, stop with the tricks, stop with helping Hawkmoth. You've made yourself unlikeable by the people around you. You can't blame anyone else for this; it's all on you. Do you understand?"

Lila said nothing, clenching her teeth as she seethed, so Ladybug continued.

"You don't need a dazzling, beyond-interesting life for people to like you. You don't need to have all sorts of connections that people will want to use you for personal or professional gain. You don't need the pity of everyone around you, getting them to tend to your needs, for people to pay attention to you."

"You don't know me; you don't know what I need," Lila snarled, standing up and trying to walk away.

"Your dad's not in your life, at least not anymore, right?"

"Shut up!"

The brunette whipped back around, hands balled into fists as she shot a fiery glare at Ladybug.

"And your mom's so busy all the time with work, right?"

"Shut up! How dare you!"

Lila stalked back over to the heroine, but lost her edge when Ladybug didn't even flinch or lose her cool expression.

"You were alone a lot, but when you lied, people paid attention. Am I on the right track?" Ladybug asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

"You don't know anything about me!"

"So now you feel the desperate need to get as much attention as you can before people stop listening to you, even if you have to go to the length of being a pathological liar."

"Shut up! Shut up!" Lila roared in Ladybug's face, but she still didn't even flinch.

"And if anyone tries to expose your lies, then that's a major threat to you. Because not only will people lose interest, but they will purposefully not listen to you again...and you'll be alone at the back of the classroom."

"How did you-?"

"It doesn't matter. You've been exposed, and there's nothing you can do about. No more lies; no more akumas."

"I-"

"It's going to take a lot of time, patience, and determination to get everyone's trust back."

"What?" Lila whispered, not sure if she heard right.

"If you really want people to pay attention to you, to not make you be alone again, then you're going to have to work hard to make it up to those you've hurt."

"What if I don't want to?"

"You do. You may not care about them specifically, but you care about someone listening to you."

"They'll never listen to me, much less forgive me."

"No, not at first, nor for a long time. But that's okay; you deserve some time alone."

"How am I supposed to get them to like me again? I'm humiliated!" Lila exclaims.

"That's for you to figure out when the storm is over and the dust settles. For now, I think some time to sit down with your mother and tell her the truth of your perspective is long overdue."

"I still hate you for exposing me."

At that, Ladybug actually smiled.

"I know, Lila. I don't expect that to change overnight."

Ladybug turned her back on the girl, holding out her fist, which Chat silently bumps. Then, the two pole-vault and swing away, leaving Lila with the echo of what Ladybug had said.
