Sorry for being late on this chapter, I was just trying to balance work and this story.
Chapter 40: Vytal Tournament Round 2.1
(RWBY, DKSM and RRAT)
SOR
Location: Amity Colosseum
Time: 10:00 am
It was another day for the Vytal Tournament and the match that is happening during the second round was between Russel Thrush and Sky Lark of team CRDL versus Penny Polendina and Ciel Soliel of Atlas.
Russel Thrush, Shortwings in hand, is running from the mayhem before spinning around, ready to face his opponents, who turns out to be of Penny Polendina and her beret-wearing teammate. With an ever-present smile and simple arm movements, she summons six floating swords from Floating Array and rears them back before launching them in a ring at Russel, who barely manages to duck behind a rock to protect himself.
Wasting no time, Penny does the same thing with another group of blades, homing in on the other CRDL teammate Sky Lark until he uses Feather's Edge to vault over another stone for defense. The two exchange a worried look at the sight of their rocks still pierced with multiple blades, and Penny grins in combat-ready fierceness as she looks to her partner, who simply taps her watch as if hurrying Penny up. Wasting no time, Penny raises her hands like a puppet master and uses the near-invisible strings attached to each hilt to lift the giant rocks up in the air, with the screaming Russel and Sky still hanging on. Bringing her arms down to her sides, the stones come crashing to the ground as well, leaving Penny's opponents in the grass. Her swords come back to her pack as the buzzer rings.
"And victory goes to Penny and Ciel of Atlas!" Oobleck said from the broadcaster's system of the Colosseum as Penny placing a fist in her palm and bowing in respect to her fallen foes, still smiling.
"Thank you for a wonderful time." She said before leaving the area with her partner.
From the stands teams DKSM, RWBY, JNPR, and RRAT were watching from the stands.
"Hey look at that, they lasted a second than I hoped." Dante sarcastically said.
"And I thought we were going to have snooze fest." Sora said.
"Instead we witnessed domination…" Makoto said.
Watching from the stands, Ruby Rose sees them start to walk away and excitedly gets up from her seat with the rest of her team to meet them at one of the exits.
"Penny!" Ruby shouted as she caught up with Penny spreading her arms as she calls out.
"Ruby!" Penny said while lifting up her own arms, she tackles her friend into a hug that leaves them both of them on the ground.
"Why..." the rose huntress said as she lies to the ground.
"Ruby, this is my teammate." The cyborg said after getting up energetically and gestures to the other girl.
"Ciel Soleil." Her partner said who bows formally.
"Hi! I'm Ru-" Ruby said as she raises her hand in greeting.
"Ruby Rose. 15. Hails from Patch. Leader of Team RWBY. Status: Questionable." The blue beret hunter said as Ruby was silent on what she said.
As Ruby was talking to both Penny and Ciel Dante turned to his teammates on who would represent the team for the second round.
"So which among you, fine gentlemen would represent the team in next round?" he said towards his teammates.
"To be fair, anyone of us can solo this tournament." Sora replied.
"I agree, though we might in for a surprise and maybe someone from this tournament would give us a hard time." Makoto said.
"I would like to see that…" Koga silently said.
"Our next match will begin in 15 minutes!" Port said from the announcer's desk.
"Looks like Team RWBY is up next, let's see who they send out." Dante said.
SOR
Location: Beacon Entrance
Time: 10:20 am
As the next match was coming up Team VKRA was heading to the colosseum to watch the upcoming matches.
"Come on, we're going to miss the match." Kairi said as she starts walking.
"Hold up, no need to rush." Rei said as he caught up with Kairi while Koromaru rushed towards her.
"Wait up, Koromaru!" Aigis said as she follows the white Shiba puppy.
While the trio was rushing Vergil took a more calm and slow walk, following his teammates. As he was about to take another step he noticed that time around him has stopped and the color of his surroundings was grey, only his color stays the same as he looks around. A few seconds in a hooded individual silently teleported behind him and slowly walked towards him. As the hooded individual got closed enough Vergil fires a spectral sword towards the hooded figure which hits it on the head. Vergil turns as the hooded figure bounce back to his feet and faced him.
"Wow, is that one way to greet an old acquaintance?" the hooded figure said as he removed the spectral sword off his head then breaks it with his right hand. "You're so cold Nelo…" the hooded figure added.
"Who are you?" Vergil asked as he points at the hooded figure with his katana.
"You don't recognize me?" the hooded figure said with as he motions to himself. "Is it because of the hood, maybe it's the hood." He added before removing his hood revealing his face to the elder Son of Sparda.
The person had a round face with red pupils and pale lips he has black hair which is tied to a ponytail. He also wears a black vest with a violet collar along with fingerless gauntlet gloves. He wears white pants along with black steel-tipped boots.
Vergil scoffs before recognizing the individual then takes a more relaxed yet cautious pose.
"Garland, son of Mundus. Prince of Exile…" He said while tightening his grip on Yamato. "How have you been you're majesty?" He mockingly asked.
"I've been well, thank you for asking." Garland replied. "But my exile has to end a little earlier than expected because of my father's so-called generals has been failing for the past few months. Now I am here ready wreak havoc in this pathetic, human infested world." He added while extending his arms.
"So it was you who sent the Reaper a few days ago." Vergil said as Garland clapped in response.
"Very good, when you were my father's slave you were as dumb as a rock. But now you gained your intelligence back like a normal human being, bravo." He said while clapping in front of the Son of Sparda. "I always wanted to test my strength against your father, but we know that is never going to happen…" he added before looking down.
"You already know that you won't last long if that fight ever happened." Vergil replied.
"True to that, I would be wiped on the floor by your father." The Prince of Exile said before shaking his head. "But enough about me, let's talk about you and your brother." He added.
"What about us?" Vergil asked before Garland appeared behind Vergil.
"Let's just say that my father wanted you both dead, and I apparently volunteered for the task." He replied before jumping over Vergil. "But alas I cannot do that now, you see unlike Salem I don't need pawns to do my own bidding. I sent the Reaper to test the strength of you and your brother." He added before sitting on an Indian style position. "And I would say, that I wasn't that impressed." He added.
"What do you mean?" Vergil asked.
"I want to see you both getting stronger, but please tell my father about this." He said while doing a shush motion. "I want to see you both grow a little more before we have our very own confrontation." He added. "In the meantime, you better be ready for an invasion." He added.
"What invasion?" Vergil asked.
"I don't know if you already noticed by now but, the tournament that you are currently competing right now is rigged by someone. Any day now that seal beneath the academy will be broken and the invasion will begin." Garland said before Vergil thought about the saboteur.
"Who could it be, who is going break the seal of the Underworld?" He asked.
"Who knows, just be ready by then and try to survive." Garland said before opening a portal. "Now, I'm off my friend. See you soon." He said while waving towards Vergil as he enters the portal.
As soon as the portal closes the flow of time around Vergil resumes before he noticed that his teammates were waiting for him.
"Hey Vergil, hurry up!" Kairi said as she waves towards him who started walking.

Location: Amity Colosseum
Time: 10:30 am
Back at the Colosseum the next match that was about to happen was Team RWBY who are represented by both Yang and Weiss taking on Team FNKI of Atlas.
"Well, now it's our turn!" Yang said while stretching out her arms.
"Just remember to keep proper form." Weiss said before Yang chuckled.
"Alright." The blonde huntress said before she shifts her tones to talk strategy. "You're from Atlas. What could we expect?" she asked her teammate.
"Well, seeing as their Kingdom, academy and armed forces are all merged as one, I think we can expect strict, militant fighters with advanced technology and carefully rehearsed strategies." The pale huntress said as Yang loosen up her legs.
At that very moment, a rainbow zooms past the two surprised Huntresses-in-training, coming to a stop opposite them, revealing a pigtailed Faunus girl with rollerblades and a cat tail swishing around her weapon next to a young man wearing a fedora and sunglasses, holding a trumpet in one hand.
"Or whatever they are." Weiss said after recovering from her shock faster than the open-mouthed Yang.
"Hey!" Flynt of Team FNKI said as Weiss looks over to him as he gestures at her, smiling. "You Weiss Schnee, right? The heiress." He said as Weiss bows her head, smiling at the recognition.
"I am." She replied.
"I take it you're pretty good with Dust, then?" He asked as Weiss looks away sarcastically.
"I do my best." She replied while shrugging humbly.
"Yeah, my dad was good too. Owned a little Dust shop of his own." Flynt said as nods his head, eyes hidden behind his shades, until his smile turns into a scowl, tone turning hostile. "Till your father's company ran him out of business." He added.
"Oh." She said while looking ashamed now. "I'm sorry to hear that." Weiss added.
"Sure you are." Flynt said as he looks away sarcastically.
"Hey! Why don't you-" Yang said as she raises her finger before Neon cuts her off.
"Hey! Why don't you?" Neon said before she drops her unflattering imitation as she points at Yang, smiling. "That's what you sound like!" she said.
"Uh..." Yang said, not knowing how to react.
"Hey! Where'd you get your hair extensions?" Neon asked.
"This is just my normal hair." The blonde replied.
"Ooh, really?" Said by the feline Faunus.
"Yeah! Is that a prob-" Yang said as she starts getting annoyed now before Neon cuts her off.
"You should try rollerblading sometime! It's super fun!" Neon said as she starts spinning in place as she continues rapidly. "It'd probably take you a while, though, since you're so... you know, top-heavy."
"Excuse me!?" Yang said after she looks down at herself as the holographic roulette begins.
"Oh, here we go." Ruby said while rolling her eyes from the stands at the same time team VKRA arrives and sat next to her.
"So, who's fighting?" Vergil asked the rose huntress.
"You're lady over there along with my partner." She replied before Vergil nods and crosses his arms.
"By the way, have you seen Dante?" he asked.
"They're getting ready for their match." Ruby replied before turning back to the match.
The field opens around the four combatants, and up rises the volcanic area, sandy desert, steaming geysers, and ruined buildings.
"Three! Two! One! Begin!" Port said as both teams prepare themselves for battle.
(Insert R.W.B.Y. vs F.N.K.I.-Jeff Williams)
Right as it starts, Flynt raises the instrument to his lips and blows, issuing forth a sound wave that blows both Weiss and Yang back from the force. Weiss is able to create a glyph under her to stop sliding back but doesn't see Neon spinning into the attack and using it to push herself forward so she can charge at Yang in a rainbow burst of speed and push her into the city portion.
Flynt stops blowing as Weiss readies her Myrtenaster, a second passing until the musician starts playing again. This time, Weiss uses darker glyphs to move her forward through the cone of waves, making another one get closer and closer so she can land a blow. Suddenly, however, Flynt stops playing, and Weiss is forced to move forward, earning a kick to the back as she slides past. She crashes through a red Dust crystal, and Flynt grins when he sees her lying in the area now spouting pillars of fire.
Back in the ruined city, Neon manages to roll ahead of every blast from Ember Celica, skating on the railings and making faces at an irritated Yang. She continues to flip and slide over any terrain in her way, all the while repeating a mantra to herself.
"Never miss a beat! Never miss a beat! Never miss a beat! Never miss a beat!" Neon said.
She eventually comes down to the ground and charges at Yang, becoming a rainbow blue while hitting the blonde multiple times. Yang grits her teeth, unloading the spent shells in her gauntlets, as Neon smirks and cracks her glow sticks, turning them blue. She comes forward again, dashing past Yang before she even realizes that her right leg is now encased in ice.
"Hm-hmm! Look!" Neon said after giggling then smacks her butt for emphasis. "Now you're bottom-heavy, too!" she said.
Getting quite irate now, Yang slams her foot down and frees her entire leg, but is unable to stop Neon from freezing her left arm now. She sees Neon rollerblading on rails and through archways, gaining distance until she speeds forth and kicks Yang back into a wall, cracking it behind her.
"You should cool off! Get it? Because you're angry." Neon said.
Not appreciating the pun one bit, Yang smashes her arm against the wall, once again shattering the ice and the structure itself.
From the stands team, VKRA except for Vergil was getting restless as Yang and Weiss were getting outplayed in the early goings of the match.
"If I get an opportunity to teach how to control her emotions, I would do it in a heartbeat." Vergil said as he crosses his legs.
"Please do." Ruby said agreeing with him.
Meanwhile, Weiss and Flynt are facing each other in the burning section, Weiss gesturing all around her with the blade and spinning wildly to summon four glyphs that shoot out an equal number of large ice chunks headed straight for her enemy. Flynt looks down and smiles, leaping forward onto his knees and blowing his horn just as a column of flame erupts right in front of him, diverting the fire to melt each of Weiss' frozen projectiles.
"Too bad all that money can't buy you skill." Flynt said while getting back up as he twirls his trumpet.
Weiss grimaces at him before revolving her hilt to use a white type of Dust. She aims a stream of wind at Flynt, who matches her power with his own blowing, creating a standstill until Weiss uses a mere gesture to form several more glyphs around the field. She quickly bounces off each one, striking Flynt with each attack, until she puts his foot down and starts playing once more. Weiss is still propelling herself around, but nothing prepares her for a second Flynt appearing next to the first, and then another, and another after that, each color-coordinated musician joining their waves of noise together to send Weiss flying back.
"Whoa!" Jaune said while being amazed by his spot watching the fight."
"What's this?" Port said before turning to Oobleck in the announcer's box, both equally shocked.
"It appears young Flynt has just activated his Semblance! And quite a remarkable one at that. Ladies and gentlemen, feast your eyes on Flynt Coal's Killer Quartet!" Oobleck said.
The Flynts flip their hats around to the audience, then look up at the scoreboard to see Weiss and Yang down to half their Aura levels, but still in the game. He steps forward, absorbing each of his duplicates as he prepares to finish this.
His teammate is still giving trouble to Yang, using a ramp to outrun her now red-eyed opponent.
"Ooh! Flashy eyes! Y'know, you're actually kinda pretty when you're angry." Neon said while slowing down to admire the change.
"Shut up, shut up, SHUT UP! Yang said while shaking her head, eyes going back down to purple. She propels herself forward using her shotgun blasts.
Weiss is getting back up and sees her sword, reaching out to it only for Flynt to step on the blade. She looks up at him before their attention is drawn to their partners.
"Get back here!" Yang shouted.
"I wasn't trying to say that you should go on a diet, I was saying you really need to go on a diet!" Neon said while rolling around Yang in a lazy circle.
"Uh oh." Ruby said.
"Yep, all she has to do is say the 'f' word." Vergil said.
"THAT'S IT!" The blonde huntress shouted.
"You're fat." Neon said for one more quick clarification for good measure.
"Yep, she's dead." Kairi and Rei simultaneously said as Aigis opened a panel on her left wrist.
"I will now, time her defeat." She said.
Flynt looks back at Weiss before deciding to focus his attention on Yang, once more becoming four fighters and ready to blow her away. Weiss looks through the clones and sees Yang completely distracted, as well as a pool of lava bubbling away right in front of him/them. Without pause, Weiss jumps up and knocks the original into the magma just as it erupts several feet in the air.
"What?" Yang said after noticing what just happened.
"Weiss!" Ruby and Blake said simultaneously as they panicked.
"It appears we have a double knockout on our hands!" Port said from the commentator's box.
"In fact, it looks as though Miss Schnee's Aura has been completely depleted! She sacrificed herself to take out Flynt! Wait a minute. What's this!?" Oobleck said
"This" turns out to be Flynt, wobbly and almost at his limit, but standing back up from the smoke.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Flynt Coal remains standing!" Port said as Flynt begins walking toward Yang, a look of pure anger on his face.
"You did it, Flynt! Don't worry about her, she's easy! But kind of annoying." Neon said while skating back over to her leader as he marches forward
"Ooh, it looks like Yang's angry! And you wouldn't like her when she's... upset." Port said as Yang finally reaches her breaking point, fists clenching and ground trembling.
Her scream of rage combining with the group of lava bursts from the rocks, she punches out several shots at the two opponents, who manage to dodge the blasts.
"Yo, Neon, go!" Flynt said.
He blows again and helps Neon rush forward, and Yang meets her in the waves of sound, using her shots to keep her from being pushed away as she attempts to get a hit on the girl. Failing that, she leaps out of the noise and blasts the ground where Neon is, then launching herself back to create some space. Her blasts almost gets Flynt, who's forced to change the direction of his tune and direct Neon elsewhere, still avoiding the blasts and even rolling on the debris being formed, though with a noticeably more shaky stance than usual. She rolls up on a ramp made from the debris into the geyser biome. Yang lands on the ground away from her and runs right at Flynt, rocketing forward even as he uses his Semblance once more to deliver a fourfold attack. Shooting behind her, however, provides the necessary boost to finally get close and clap her hands over the mouth of the trumpet. Less than a second of silence is broken by the musical backfire right in Flynt's face, becoming one person for the final time as he's knocked on his back and the buzzer rings.
"Oh, sour note for Flynt!" Oobleck said.
Yang slides back from the blast, searching for her remaining opponent as Neon tries avoiding the geyser spouts.
"Never miss a beat! Never miss a beat! Never miss a..." Neon said t that moment, her front wheels catch on a crack in the ground, losing her balance and causing her to shed a few quick tears. "...beat?" she added
Time catches up as she pitches forward, trying to roll up in a ball only to get caught in the blast of a geyser. She's helpless to do anything as Yang smirks, fires off a single shot, and hits her screaming target in an explosion of sparks and smoke, as well as a third buzzing sound. Yang continues to look enraged until she blinks her eyes back to purple and realizes something.
"Weiss!" she said while running back into the fire section and kneels next to her ash-covered teammate. "Weiss! Are you okay?" she asked the formerly pale heiress gets up and coughs some smoke before weakly responding.
"I may not be singing for a while." Weiss said as Yang looks both worried and relieved until she breaks out into a joking smile.
"You know, I'm not sure that was proper form." The blonde huntress said.
"Oh, ha ha. Weiss said as she suffers another coughing fit.
"Damn, I've heard of the term bloody snow. But cooked snow?" Rei said as he shrug his shoulders.
"In any case they won, let's just hope that they don't face us in the next round." Vergil said.
"WHAT!? We lost? We lost?" Neon said as Yang and Weiss' attention are drawn to her, now devoid of color, as she freaks out. "Team FNKI lost? That was... that was..." Neon said as her color returns to the suddenly-overjoyed redhead as her eyes turn into rainbow sparkles for a moment. "... amazing!" she said. "Oh my gosh, you guys were super crazy awesome! We should definitely party together sometime, right Flynt?" Neon added as she turns to Flynt.
"That was a gutsy move, Schnee." He said while getting back to his feet "I dig it." He added.
Yang and Weiss smile at the good losers and see the rest of their team coming to the injured heiress' side.
"Good job, you two!" Blake said as she help Weiss.
"Yeah!" Ruby said while cheering for her teammates.
The team stays like that, cradling Weiss in their arms and soaking in the cheers of the crowd.
"And now the next match will start in ten minutes." Port as both team left the area at the same time the biomes descends below the stage.
"So who are Team DKSM's opponent going to be?" Ruby said as Blake shrugs in response.
SOR
Location: Saejima Mansion
Time: 10:35 am
While all the teams were at the Amity Colosseum Yu was left at the mansion along with the dogs and Sami as they play tag. Damien has Sami on his back while Hector chases him with Yu on the back.
"Come on Hector, we haven't tagged Damien yet!" Yu said at Hector who barked in response.
Both wolves passed by Gonza who was dusting off the couch in the living room.
"Oho, they have been training their speed. Impressive." He said before resumes dusting off the couch.
The chase continues by a hallway with Hector closing in on Damien. Yu stood up on Hector's back and jumped towards Damien's back which she safely landed.
"Tag, you're it!" She said as Sami climbs on her shoulder at the same time Damien stops. "Now it's Hector's turn!" She said until she noticed a black door and opened it which leads to one of the basements of the mansions. "Come on Sami." She said as the said cat climbs on her shoulder and starts walking down towards the basement.
She reached the bottom of the stairs and pulled out her scroll and opened its torch feature to see the path ahead. Yu continues to walk on the dark path until she stumbles upon a shrine with a picture of a man with hair and a monocle on his left eye with a sword in front. She turn off the torch on her scroll she then approached the sword and touched it which somehow created a vision within her head.
Within the vision
A man and his wife who is wearing a red robe were running for their lives as a pack of demons were rushing towards them within a forest. The man pulled out a rifle and started shooting towards the demons to slow them while his wife tries to run ahead while catches up. Suddenly one of the demons grabs the husband and dropped him to the ground.
"Run, just keep going!" he shouted as he kept on shooting to distract the demons at bay before being overwhelmed.
The wife didn't hesitate and ran away for at least an hour until she noticed a small but abandoned building and hid there for hours. As night comes she tries to leave the building to find her husband. After an hour of walking she noticed the body of her husband which was stabbed to a tree. She kneels and cry so loud that she didn't noticed that demons were slowly approaching her from behind. One demon was about to deliver the killing blow until a swordsman intervened and decapitate the demon protecting the woman.
The swordsman happens to a man on the shrine which she saw earlier. He was wearing a purple coat with the sword on his right hand.
"Lord Sparda…" the woman said as she recognize the swordsman.
"Stay back." Sparda said as he confronts the demon pack all by himself.
He then rushed towards them at the same time the pack of demons met him in the middle. After a minute the swordsman eliminated the demon pack and proceeds to check on the woman. Until a surviving demon rose up and threw a scythe blade towards Sparda who evaded it then pulled out a pistol from his back then shoots it to kill the demon. He then saw the blade hit the woman through her chest. He immediately rushed towards the woman and aid her.
"Stay still, I'll try to remove the blade." Sparda said as the woman stopped him.
"No, it's all right. But please…" She said before placing his hand on her womb which made Sparda widen his eyes.
"You're pregnant?" he asked as the woman nodded. "And you want me to save the baby?" he asked as she weakly nodded in response.
"Let me die next to my husband, but let my daughter live so that she can have a bright future…" she said before Sparda checks the condition of the baby.
"Your child might not live if we go through the entire process. However, there is another way for me to save your daughter." He said as the woman opens her eyes.
"Please tell me…" she said.
"I know a spell that can save of the child, once the soul is saved it generate a body of its choosing. It would take days maybe even months until it creates a body, are you sure about this?" Sparda said.
"You don't need my approval, please save the child." She said as Sparda nodded and begins spilling his blood on the womb and begins to chant the spell.
After a few seconds the life force of the baby transport to Sparda's hands which forms a ball of white energy.
"She is safe now, it will take time for her to take a new form." He said before showing the soul of the child to its mother.
"You're safe now…" she said while placing her head on the soul. "…he will take care of you my child." She said before closing her eyes and accepting her death.
"Rest well and be reunited with your husband…" Sparda said before leave deceased couple.
The vision flashes forward to Sparda carrying the soul orb in the Emerald Forrest. He then hid the orb under a tree and placed a protection spell on it.
"Just wait young one, you will soon walk this world." He said before leaving the soul orb.
Again the vision flashes forward to the Initiation of Team RWBY where Yang loses a strand of hair that touched the orb. The orb then uses the hair as a blueprint to form Yu's body which clarifies Yu's true origins ending the vision.
Back to reality
Yu jumped back and was knocked out unconscious forcing Sami to purr for the wolves to come down. Hector went back up to try and call Gonza while Damien tends to the downed girl before Gonza arrived and checked on her.
"Lady Yu!" Gonza said as he rushed towards the unconscious girl and carries her out of the room.
SOR
Location: Amity Colosseum
Time: 10:40 am
Back in the colosseum Team RWBY sat down on the stands next to Team JNPR waiting for the next match.
"So whose match is next?" Ruby asked.
"Dante and Koga are up next." Jaune replied.
"Oh cool, so who are their opponents?" She said as Jaune shrugs in response, not knowing who Dante and Koga's opponent going to be.
"And now the next match will be very interesting…" Port said from the announcer's table.
"Yes indeed partner, a very interesting matchup. Both balanced teams going head to head in this promising semi-final match." Oobleck said also from the announcer's table.
"Not only that, but also both teams came from the same school!" Port said gaining mixed reactions from the crowd especially the students from Beacon.
"What, who will they be fighting?" Ren said as the stage rises revealing the teams of the fight.
"First from Team DKSM, please welcome Dante and Koga!" Oobleck said before Dante and Koga grab hold of their swords.
"And their opponents are as balanced as they come, from the Makai Order and representing Beacon. Team RRAT Ryuga and Rian!" Port said as Ryuga and Rian took a hold of their weapons.
"Well this is interesting…" Vergil said. "So this is what he meant earlier, being the tournament rigged by someone." He thought to himself at the same time holographic roulettes appeared on the back of both teams.
"Another round against you eh Koga?" Ryuga said.
"Looks like it, are you prepared to prove yourself again?" Koga asked.
"You know it." He responds.
"This will be interesting…" Rian said as she loads her revolver with different color tipped bullets.
"Yeah it is." Dante said while spinning his pistols before four biomes rise from the stage.
The biomes consist of the geyser area, the forest, the desert, and the beach.
"This can't be right." Weiss said stating about the random draw of the tournament so far.
"Hey, anything can happen. I mean team CFVY got eliminated." Ruby said.
"This is a good thing though." Rei said as everyone turns to him. "Koga testing Ryuga's capabilities. This would be good…" Rei said before pulling out a popcorn bucket from his back as the match was about to begin.
"You got Rian?" Koga silently asked his partner.
"Yep, you do what you have to do." Dante replied.
"Three! Two! One! Begin!" Port said as both teams prepare themselves for battle.

Both Koga and Ryuga rushed towards each other while Dante and Rian started shooting their guns towards one another.
Both Makai Knights drew out their swords and started swinging causing sparks around the arena. Both knights deflect each swords swipes with no one gaining an advantage as both of them were swinging their swords as fast and as wild as they can. Koga thrust his sword towards Ryuga which pushed him back, edging towards the geyser area of the arena. Koga then sheaths his sword before rushing towards Ryuga who noticed a geyser behind him was about to erupt then jump back just as Koga enters the geyser biome. He then swings his sword towards the black-clad knight before the geyser explodes. The sword cuts through the geyser but there was nobody behind it causing Koga to search the area for his opponent. After a few seconds, another geyser exploded a few steps from his position turning to it. As soon as he turned around Ryuga leaped up from the geyser and drew out his sword towards Koga. The white coat knight bends back a parries the surprise attack by swiping his red scabbard then grabbed his opponent before slamming him to the ground. Just before Ryuga can recover Koga performed an upward slash that sends him to the forest area which lands on a tree, decreasing his aura level by twenty percent.
"Incredible, Koga counters Ryuga's attack to gain the advantage." Port said.
"Indeed, that is what you expect from a Makai Knight of his stature." Oobleck said.
While both knights were facing each other at center of the stage Dante and Rian continue to unload their guns towards each other. Rian reloads her pistol before pulling out her brush then rubs it one her pistol giving it some magical attributes. She then started firing bullets with flame on the tips towards Dante. The demon hunter evades the flame bullets by rolling to the right before rushing towards Rian. Dante then puts away his guns then drew out his sword from his back before leaping in the air. Rian used a protection spell by stabbing her brush to the ground to create a yellow dome to block Dante's attack. The sword lands a hit on the dome causing a powerful shockwave that sends Dante towards the dessert area of the arena while Rian remains in her position. As the energy dome dissipates Rian fires a high impact shot towards Dante, only to miss causing an explosion of sand in front of him. After her shot landed on the sand the demon hunter was nowhere to be found forcing Rian to scan around the area searching for her opponent. Just as she turns around Dante was about to thrust his sword towards Rian, who uses a barrier spell only to send her next to Ryuga at the same time her aura level decreased by fifteen percent.
"Unbelievable, with that counter by Dante team DKSM has an early advantage over RRAT!" Oobleck said from commentator's booth.
"No doubt, this match could be a quick one ladies and gentlemen." Port said also from the commentator's booth.
As both Dante and Koga closed in on their dazed opponents Rian drew out her brush and unleashed a smokescreen to cover her and Ryuga. Dante started firing towards the smoke while Koga drew out his sword then rushed towards the smoke. Ryuga jumps up over the smoke then heads towards Koga. The white-cloaked warrior swung his sword towards the incoming young knight only to miss as his body begins to disintegrate signifying that the Ryuga that he attacked was a decoy before turning back to the smoke and see Ryuga rushing towards him. Koga tried to counter the incoming attack but no avail as Ryuga unleashed a four slash combo before delivering a powerful upward slash that sends Koga to the geyser area of the arena, which also decreased his aura level by twenty percent.
"Incredible, one moment they were on the edge but now Ryuga has even up the match again." Oobleck said.
Rian pops out of the smoke then lands on a tree branch before pulling out six red diamond-shaped charms with Makai letter from her back. Dante started shooting towards the Makai priest who blocked the by using her brush. She then throws the charms which starts to levitate around in a circular formation. The charms then starts to ignite as Rian dives towards Dante who pulled out his sword from his back. Dante was about to swing his giant sword until Rian kicked the charms towards the demon hunter creating a ring of fire rushing towards him. Dante easily cuts down the flame ring before Rian lands to the ground and stabs the ground with her brush which creates a giant fist rising from the ground hitting Dante that sends him to the beach area of the arena this also decreased his aura level by ten percent.
"Outstanding counter-attack by Rian, she was able to hold her ground against Dante." Port said as Dante stood back up.
Back at the geyser area of the Koga and Ryuga stood on the center of biome and drew out their swords. Both knights the rushed towards each other and clash their blades towards one another, with each their swords connect a geyser explodes around showing that the intensity of the match-up between the two. The ground that they are standing shakes with each time the blades of their swords clash. Never the less Koga was able to take control of the clash as he delivered a few more powerful sword slash towards Ryuga which pushed him back a few steps Koga then grinds his sword with his ring which summons the gauntlets of his armor.
"What the?" Ryuga said with a shocked expression.
"It is allowed that we used the parts of our armor when we are fighting. You can do it as well." Koga said as he sheaths his sword.
Ryuga focuses his energy on his legs then grinds his sword on with the scabbard to summon black metal leggings from his armor. He then sheaths his sword before rushing towards and attempted to deliver a few kicks which were blocked by Koga's gauntlets. Koga counters with an uppercut only to have it blocked by Ryuga's left leg before delivering a push kick to get his opponent back a few steps. He then runs towards Koga trying to deliver a flying a sidekick only to miss as Koga sidesteps and grabbed his leg before slamming him down from left to right at least four times before tossing him towards a geyser that was about to erupt. The geyser erupts and sends Ryuga towards the forest area landing on solid ground which also decreased his aura level by thirty percent.
"Amazing exchange there, but ultimately Koga won that one gaining the advantage." Port said.
"Well timed evasions and powerful strikes was the reason for winning the clash. It looks like team RRAT are in trouble." Oobleck said.
Back at the beach biome Dante drew out his sword and rushed towards Rian who pulled out six more red diamond-shaped charms from her back then tossed it in the air. She then points her brush towards the charms before unleashing a lightning spell that hit them. The charms then became charged up with lightning energy before spinning next to Rian, forming a formation with three each at her side. The demon hunter continues to rush towards before the charms charged up then started shooting lightning towards him. He dodge the first two lightning bolts before blocking the third one which pushed him back towards the water. Two more charms missed their mark as Dante flips from left to right just to evade them, but the last lightning bolt hit the water where he was standing on which shocked and stunned him on his spot. Rian drew out her pistol then inserted a red-tipped bullet on her revolver then aimed it towards both Koga and Ryuga who were still trading blows. She shoots the gun and the bullet heads towards the duo. The bullet heads towards Ryuga who was able to push Koga back before drawing out his sword to catch the bullet by letting it slide by the side of his sword then sends towards Dante by swinging it. The swing caused to bullet to increase its velocity which hit Dante by his chest forcing him to fall on the water with his back. The bounced off Dante then heads towards Koga which hit him by the left leg giving Ryuga an opportunity to deliver a flying front kick which hits him on the face, sending Koga next to Dante by the water of the beach biome. Due to this both Dante and Koga's aura levels drop to twenty-five percent as they slow to get back up to their feet.
"What an incredible sequence that was!" Oobleck said.
"Amazing, if team RRAT wins this match it will be one of the best comebacks in the tournament's history." Port said as Oobleck turns to him.
"Same goes for team DKSM in their current situation." Oobleck said.
"Well, they're giving us a real fight." Dante said as both Ryuga and Rian slowly walk towards them to finish the fight.
"Now it's our turn to give them one." Koga said as he pulls out his lighter then gave Dante a nod.
"Quickflash!" Dante said before Koga creates a smokescreen by swiping his light towards his left covering him and Dante at the same time.
Ryuga rushed towards only to find both Dante and Koga missing, Rian runs next to him and starts scanning around the area. After a few seconds, the entire area started to rain ice which a big chuck hit Ryuga by the top of his head. Both of them looked up and widen their eyes as numerous numbers of giant hails was about to fall on them, one of which Dante was riding before kicking it down towards them. Both Ryuga and Rian evades the ice storm by rolling to the left and right until a bunch of ice surrounding Ryuga, trapping him as Rian fends for herself. Rian then was confronted by both Dante who was now wielding Cerberus and Koga who has his gauntlets, who were prepared to eliminate her. Rian pulls out her brush and revolver then unleashed a barrage of spells towards the duo who rushed towards her. Both Dante and Koga blocked the shots as they head towards Rian. Rian created a wall of energy to protect herself from the duo who started swing their weapons towards it. Dante unleashed a barrage of ice spikes towards the barrier which force Rian back and left wide open. Koga then charged up a ball of green flame with his gauntlets then unleashed it towards her. Rian tried to block the flame ball but to no avail as it hits and launcher her out of the arena.
"Ooh, tough luck for Rian. Not only her aura level is down by ten percent but she has been eliminated by ring out." Port said as Rian struggles to get back to her feet.
"It all on Ryuga now to win it for his team." Oobleck said as Ryuga breaks out of the ice prison faces Koga who pulls out his sword.
"He's all yours." Dante said as Ryuga drew out his sword and rushed towards the duo.
"I know." Koga replied before rushing towards his opponent.
The two clashed in the middle of the arena with each sword strike causing sparks around. No man was gaining the advantage as both were fighting like there is no tomorrow, Koga then thrust his sword which pushed Ryuga back before grinding his sword with his red scabbard to transform to its two-handed form while Ryuga does the same. Both then pulled out their lighters and ignite their swords with it then wait for the right moment to strike. After a few seconds of silence, both knights rushed towards each other to deliver the decisive blow of the fight. As both Koga and Ryuga reached the middle they swung their swords at each other at the same time then passed by them before sheathing their swords. After a few seconds Ryuga collapse to the floor ending the fight.
"That is it folks, team DKSM has eliminated team RRAT out of the competition and moving on to the next round!" Port said.
"What an unbelievable match was that, both teams were giving it there all and really determined to win the match!" Oobleck said as Rian recovers and helps Ryuga back to his feet.
"Good fight you two." Dante said as he started leaving the arena while Koga walks towards them.
"Hey, you gave it your all there. Well done." Koga said as he pats Ryuga's shoulder before leaving the stage.
