Turfield and Grass Type.
Flora and Geo are taken to the Turfield, the place where Milo is the Gym Leader. Geo says, "I heard that you are also a farmer, right?"
Milo says, "That's right. But I am the kind of pastoral farming rather than the agriculture. Since we have Wooloo that need to make the wool for the clothes."
Flora says, "Can I have some of it? As a clothes designer, I want to make some of the clothes."
Milo laughs, "I am sure you can. But first, remind me that who do you want to fight in those traitors?"
Flora sighs, "I was thinking about my sister's bullies, but others would take care of them. For now, we should focus on their Grass Type user Cilan."
"Cilan, huh? A shame that he is an A Ranked Connoisseur." Geo sighs. "But we have to train our Grass Type Pokemon, right?"
They arrive at the farm at Route 4 and Milo says, "Indeed. Should we begin?"
The two nod as Milo sends out Grookey, Thwackey, Rillaboom, Gossifleur, Eldegoss, Applin, Flapple and Appletun. Geo asks, "So these are the new Grass Type Pokemon?"
"Yes." Milo says. "For the starter Pokemon, we have these three. Grookey's evolution line learns the move Branch Poke. The user attacks the target by poking it with a sharply pointed branch. And for the final evolution Rillaboom, it learns the move Drum Beating."
"You mean...like beating a drum?" Geo asks.
"The user plays its drum, controlling the drum's roots to attack the target. This also lowers the target's Speed stat." Milo says. "Use wisely and it will be a good effect."
Flora looks at the Gossifleur and Eldegoss, she says, "These two look really beautiful."
"Indeed. And I like to use these Pokemon as well." Milo says. "They have a special ability called Cotton Down. When a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by a damaging move, the Speed of all other Pokémon is decreased by one stage. And for the multi-time attack such as Bullet Seed, it will keeps using the ability."
"That sounds amazing." Geo says. "But why is there an apple as a Pokemon?"
"That is an Applin." Milo replies. "Applin's evolution line has the ability known as Ripen. It can doubles the effect of the berry, such as Oran Berry, it heals more than usual."
"I see." Flora says, "But Flapple and Appletun have a huge difference, how to they evolve?"
Milo says, "Do you want to try some?" He takes out an apple and Flora tastes it, but she winces and she says, "This is really sour."
"Yes, this is the Tart Apple. If you give this to Applin, then it will become Flapple. But if you give this, then it will be Appletun."
Flora catches another apple and tastes it, and she says, "This is better, it is sweet."
"Indeed." Milo says. "The Applin line are also Dragon Types, so they are also strong indeed. Flapple learns the move known as Grav Apple. The user inflicts damage by dropping an apple from high above. This also lowers the target's Defense stat."
"Didn't a famous person in the past named Newton find out the Gravity from the fallen apple? Are they related?"
"Well, Newton is from this region after all." Milo laughs. "As for Appletun, it learns Apple Acid. The user attacks the target with an acidic liquid created from tart apples. This also lowers the target's Sp. Def stat."
"I think that I don't want to try out the acid." Geo says as Flora shares the same thoughts.
"Let's start with the Dynamax. I am sure that Prince Ash has given you guys the Dynamax Bands on your wrist. Right?" Milo asks.
The two of them nod as they show their wrists. Milo says, "Good, now Flora, can you recall the Pokeball of this Rillaboom?"
Flora nods as she recalls the Pokemon, then her band suddenly glows as the ball becomes bigger and she has a hard time to grab it.
"Wow...suddenly it becomes heavy..." Flora says.
"Do you need help?" Geo asks as Flora just throws it out. "Or not..." Then a giant Rillaboom appears on the field.
"Wow. My very first Dynamax." Flora gasps.
"Good, now try out the move Max Overgrowth." Milo says.
"Use Max Overgrowth!" Flora yells, as giant seeds spread through the ground and then turns into giant plants, then the plants explodes and gives the opponent damage as well as the Grassy Terrain.
"What power..." Flora gasps.
"Indeed. That you saw is a Max Move for the Grass Type. But not only there is a Dynamax, there are Gignatamax."
"Gigantamax?" Flora and Geo ask.
"You see, the Pokemon that is capable of using the Gigantamax, which is an upper level Dynamaxing with unique form and move, are these, Flapple and Appletun. The two of them Gigantamax into the same Pokemon. But they have different moves."
Flora and Geo decide to try it out, but once they send out the two Pokemon, they are surprised at the form change.
"You're right, they do become the same Pokemon." Flora says. "And they are different from the original."
"Flapple learns the move G-Max Tartness instead of the Max Overgrowth. While Appletun learns the move G-Max Sweetness instead."
They use the moves, as they shoot out apples. The apples explode into goo and one Pokemon gets its evasiveness lowered while the other one has the status healed.
"Wow..." Flora says. "This is so cool. Where can we capture these Pokemon?"
Milo says, "I will take you eventually, but first, you promise me to show your Pokemon as well as Mega Evolution and Z-Moves."
"It is fine by us." Geo says as he checks the Galar Pokedex. Since Venusaur isn't native to the region, they show him the Mega Evolution. Then Parasect, Victreebel, Exeggutor, which has also the Alolan Form, Meganium, Jumpluff, Sunflora, Celebi, Sceptile and its Mega Evolution, Breloom, Cacturne, Cradily, Tropius, Torterra, Wormadam, Carnivine, Mega Abomasnow, Tangrowth, Shaymin and the use of Gracidea, Serperior, Simisage, Leavanny, Lilligant, Sawsbuck with all four season form, Amoonguss, Virizion, Chesnaught, Gogoat, Decidueye, Lurantis and eventually Kartana.
Flora also uses her Roserade to perform the Z Move for the Grass Type, Bloom Doom. Which she bends down and then raises her hands into the air and claps.
"I see. So how does the Alola Grass Type Trial work?" Milo asks.
"Since our friend Mallow is the Trial Captain, she asks us to make the food and let the smile attract the Totem Lurantis and Totem Tsareena, determine on which one."
"I see." Milo says. "Now as I promised, I will show you where to capture the new Pokemon."
Then the two trainers follow Milo as they go for the Pokemon capturing.
