Alexander Ozpin was many things – a headmaster, a teacher, a Huntsman, a researcher – but a morning person was not one of them. He hid it well with copious amounts of coffee, the unfortunate ability to act as a politician, and Glynda continually jabbing him in the side to keep him away, so the students were usually spared the…drama of a tired Ozpin.

Needless to say, the students from the Ohm building (that happened to be awake at five in the morning) were not at all prepared for the first morning after the fire.

Yang rubbed her eyes blearily. "…What?"

The very distinguished headmaster of Beacon Academy was clutching his sleeping bag and pillow tightly, eyes squeezed shut, as Professor Goodwitch pulled at said sleeping bag. This resulted in him being dragged across the floor in a very undignified manner.

"Oz," the artificial blonde growled, "get up." The only response was incoherent mumbling.

"Ruby, Weiss, Blake," Yang hissed, shaking them, "you have to see this!"

The three sat up and opened their eyes. A second passed before they realized what was going on.

"Is that Professor Ozpin?!" Ruby squeaked.

"Yep." Yang grinned, barely suppressing her laughter.

Glynda let go of the sleeping bag with a huff and nudged Ozpin with her foot. "Why?"

More incoherent mumbling.

"I don't care that you're tired. That's your fault." She sighed and then said something sharply in what sounded like gibberish.

Reluctantly, the silver-haired man let go of the sleeping bag and sat up, opening his eyes. With a glare, he mumbled something in the same gibberish.

She shrugged. "It got you up, didn't it?"

"But using my mother?" He grabbed his cane and a tiny plastic box and stood up. "You are a cruel woman."

"Just go get ready before I go drill sergeant on you. We have a lot to do today and the fire last night doubled our work."

Ozpin sighed. "Yes, I suppose you're right…" He started to maneuver around the sleeping students.

Glynda glanced over to the gawking RWBY, gave a slight smile, and turned away to follow him.

"…What the heck was that?!"

"Sh, Weiss!"
