Corrin slowly stood up. "So...this is Anankos."

Anankos looked down at them. "I've been waiting for you, Corrin."

Corrin drew his Yato. "Anankos... You've been toying with us for far too long."

"Why? Why is it wrong to manipulate humans? Your race is weak. It's forgotten its place in the world—forgotten its benefactors. You exist solely for the amusement of your betters—dragons! So, answer me, Corrin! Why am I the one left to suffer? Why am I the one left to die? Why do humans flourish while I am buried here...ignored...forgotten? TELL ME WHY!"

The shock from the dragon's roar was enough to threaten to fling the team back. "That's a fine greeting voice." John growled.

"Answer me! Answer me, you pathetic little humans!"

"Ugh! How's this for an answer?!" Corrin yelled, charging at Anankos.

"Corrin, wait!"

Ignoring Marth's warning, Corrin jumped up and slammed Yato at the Dragon's forehead. Only for the dragon to push him back and send him hurling towards the ground. Corrin groaned as he sat up. "It can't be... The Yato didn't even leave a scratch?!"

"You dare bare your teeth at me?! Lashing out with your sharp sticks... Corrin! I will take your pathetic life. Then I will make your body my own. You're one of my bloodline. You will serve as a vessel for me!"

"That's all you view your own son as?" Robin asked. "You're just like Grima. A parasite that grew too fast and got an inflated ego because of it."

Xander drew his blade and rushed over to Corrin. "As if we'd let you! Everyone, protect Corrin!"

Ryoma stepped in front of Corrin with him. "We'll stop this monster! Don't let Anankos anywhere near him!"

Anankos leered at them. "Impudent fools... As though you simple creatures could ever stop a dragon!"

The dragon opened its mouth and a bright sphere flew into Xander. Another hit Ryoma. "AH!"

"AGGGGH!"

As both were knocked down, Anankos fired another sphere at Azura. "AHHHH!"

Suddenly more holes came out of the walls with water pouring out. From the pools more Vallite soldiers appeared. Corrin panicked as he slowly got up. "No! At this rate...we'll be wiped out. I need more strength... I need more power! I need the power to protect everyone... The power to end this fight!"

"You think you have power? You are a half-blood disgrace." Anankos shot another volley in Corrin's direction.

Corrin braced himself for the blow. But something in front of him blocked the hit. When he looked up he saw Robin in his white robe with black hair. Robin had his hands outstretched and was barley phased from the blow. "You say humans are inferior. That they are meant to be ruled by dragons. But do you really see yourself as worthy of ruling anyone?"

"What?!"

"It's sad you were shunned and hatted after a single incident. But I find it even sadder that you used that as an excuse to destroy and control everything you see, like a spoiled child."

"SILANCE! Don't you dare look down on me!"

"You want to know why this is happening to you?" Lincoln asked, stepping forward. "Allow me to explain. It is true that humans wronged you. But you committed the greatest sin. Denying others their freedom. As such you have forfeited your rights to it. When I think of all the poor souls you abused…Lilith…The king and queen of Hoshido…Lilina and Ike's fathers, Alm's father and cousin, Marth's friend…I can see that you are undeserving of the power you hold."

"Last time father couldn't stop you." Shigure said. "But now we are here. This time it will be our ultimate victory!"

Henry stepped forward next. "No more hiding behind your puppets and curses in your Invisible Kingdome. It's time you answered for your crimes. Corrin, ya ready to finish what we started?"

Corrin was back on his feet. "I'm ready. Let's end this! For the sake of all worlds!"

Suddenly Ryoma's Raijinto started to glow blue. Then Xendar' Seigfried, and Takumi's Fujin Yumo. As well as Leo's Brynhildr. Ryoma looked at his weapon. "What...what is this light?"

Xander looked at it. Then at his own weapon. "Could the five divine weapons be reacting to each other?"

Corrin's eyes widened. "Wait, I remember! The Rainbow Sage spoke of this! He said we'd need the five divine weapons to make the Seal of Flames! Brothers! Hold your weapons high!"

As Corrin and his four brothers held up their weapons his Yato was engulfed in a bright light. It shape changed. It had glowing red point around the edges with four red gems. Takumi couldn't believe it. "The Yato...transformed?!"

Leo stared at the weapon in awe. "It seems like the power of each of our weapons is flowing into it..."

Ryoma came to Corrin's right. "Everyone, get ready! Pour all your energy into your attacks! We've got to support Corrin!"

Xander stood at Corrin's left. "Our power is yours, Corrin! It's time to defeat Anankos!"

Corrin nodded and swiped his new weapon through the air. "So, this is the Yato's true form... This...is the legendary Fire Emblem! We stand a chance with this blade! Follow me, everyone! We're going to end this war!"

Chrom chuckled. "So, the sword is this worlds Fire Emblem? Didn't expect that."

Henry took point. "Corrin! Mr. President! Ryoma, Xander, Marth, Robin, Ike, Chrom, Roy, Alm, let's kick some dragon tail! The rest of you keep the Vallite out of our hair!"

Anankos roared again. "I am the forgotten god. The betrayed king. The buried dragon."

"Yeah, yeah, we get it already!" Henry snorted. "Enough of your ranting Anankos! Let's end this once and for all!"

"Arcfire!" Robin shot a blast of flame at the dragon. It roared as its head backed up. Alm and Chrom came from the left and each slammed their Falchions into his head with upward swings. As the Dragon's head was launched upward Ryoma and Marth went in and stabbed it in the neck.

Anankos roared in pain as it's eyes glowed red. It shot lasers that burned into the floor, making everyone back up. That did force his enemies to keep their distance…Until Xander shot a beam from Seigfried into his left eye. Anankos cried out before Ike shot a shockwave from Ragnel into his right eye. His head dropped to the ground.

"Henry!"

"Yes sir!"

Both Henry and Lincoln thrusted their rapiers into his chin. The captain looked behind him. "Get him Corrin!"

"RAAAAAAH!" Corrin sprouted wings and flew at Anankos, stabbing Omega Yato into his forehead. The dragon screeched as the blade left a glowing blue crack on its mask-like head. Corrin jumped back and morphed his hand into a dragon mouth that shot a blast of water at the dragon taking a chunk of the upper mask off.

"That really hurt him!" Alm cheered. "It's working!"

Anaknkos groaned. "Curse you...vexing humans... Once again...you've..."

"Had enough yet?" Henry grinned. "Cause' we're just getting started!"

The dragons slowly lifted his head back up. "Grrrawwww... Lowly, pitiful humans... You can't... I need...more power... I need more dragon's blood! I have no choice... GARON!"

A bright flash appeared before him. Soon the King of Nohr had appeared. Xander's eyes widened. "What... Father?!"

Leo took his eyes off of the Vallite when he heard Xander. He was shocked to see Garon with Anankos. "What are you doing here, Father?!"

Garon displayed nothing on his face. "I serve the great Anankos! Of course I would come when called. It seems that Gunter proved a poor conduit for the Silent Dragon, however. A pity—I thought that having him cast into Valla would be enough..."

"You…!" Everyone looked at Gunter as he stood up. "I'll never forgive you…"

"Hmph. You're forgiveness in none of my concern. Xander. Why do you stand with a traitor and the Hoshidans? Kill them now."

Xander looked back at Ike. Then he turned to Garon. "I will take no orders from the likes of you wretch."

"What was that?" Garon growled.

"I follow orders from my father. The true King Garon of Nohr. And he would never order me to destroy Nohr as you have. This charade is over."

"You dare defy me?!"

"I somehow let you fool me into thinking you were him. And I caused so much death. Your sins are mine. And I will bury you to atone."

"Do you have any idea how much suffering you have caused?" Robin asked. "It's time you faced the consequences of your actions!"

"The Avatar…That reminds me…" Garon looked at his chest. The black mark on his armor was still there. "I have yet to pay you back for humiliating me."

"And I you for kidnapping my daughter."

Corrin stepped forward next. "We're only here to defeat Anankos. But if you stand in our way then we will fight you as well!"

"Oh? The allow me to show you my true form. RrrrrrrrAAAAAAAGH!" A purple light surrounded Garon, blinding everyone in the room. When they could see again he was some form of taller slime creature with glowing purple eyes and a red light inside his chest. Some members of the team screamed at the sight.

John simply grimaced. "I didn't think it was possible, but he just got even uglier."

"Wh-what happened to father?!" Elise asked.

"This proves it." Xander growled. "Father is long gone."

"Now DIE!" Garon's arm stretched out with his axe flying at Corrin who jumped back and away from the attack and took flight.

Purple flames came out of Garon's mouth and were heading for Corrin, but Robin teleported in between the two of them. "Arcfire!" He shot flames from his hands that intercepted Garon's and slowly pushed them back towards Garon. Soon the fire blew into the Kings face making him roar in pain.

"Good grief." Robin scoffed. "Gunter was tougher then you. You act high and mighty despite being Anankos' slave and this is the full extent of your power?"

"DON'T MOCK ME!"

While blinded by rage Chrom came in and stabbed him in the chest. "That was for all of the Yilisians you murdered."

Ryoma then rushed in next to him and impaled Garon with his blade. "And that was for the Hoshidians."

Then they stepped aside so Xander could get a stab in. "And that was for Nohr."

Garon stepped back and groaned. He swung his axe overhead and brought it downward towards Xander, but Corrin swopped in and blocked it with Yato using one hand and priced the red sphere in Garon's chest with a Dragonic Lance.

As Garon screamed he turned back to his original form in a bright light. Corrin's morphed arms till through him. "How…how can this…"

Corrin looked behind him. "Take your shot. Let out what you had to hold in for years." He took his arm out of Garon and stepped aside for Gunter who came in roaring with his sword in his hands.

Where Corrin had pierced Garon's armor the knight shoved his sword. Garon yelled in pain. "I have waited a long time for this moment. For you to feel the pain I suffered." With one hand Gunter gripped his sword. With the other he grabbed Garon's neck and pulled it towards him burying his blade deeper into the fallen king. Garon's scream filled the room. Gunter pulled his sword out and kicked Garon to the ground. "It's finally done…my wife…my child…rest in peace."

Everyone starred at Garon's body. "Heh, heh, heh, heh…BWA, HA, HA, HA!"

"What? He's still alive after that?" Ryoma asked.

Garon coughed. "You've lost…all of you…" As he lifted his hand everyone saw what he was holding.

Corrin couldn't believe it. "That's…Azura's pendant!"

"What?!" Gunter checked himself. Garon must have lifted it from him while being stabbed. "Damn!"

From the ground, Garon looked up at the dragon looming over him. "Anankos! Use me to channel your mighty power, instead! Join with me, and together we can rule this pitiful world!"

Anankos was silent at first. Then a chuckle was heard. "Ha... Hahaha... HAHAHA! You think too much of yourself, worm!"

Garon's eyes widened with fear as Anankos opened his mouth and charged at him. "Wha—GAAAAAAAAAA!"

Everyone watched as Garon and the pendant were swallowed whole. Elise screamed. "FATHER!"

Camilla dropped to her kness. "How... How has it come to this?!"

Xander looked down. "No. That wasn't father."

Leo sighed. "Yes…you're right. It was something else taking his form. Maybe now our true father can rest in peace."

"Uh…ya sure ya wanna be eatin' that?" Tom asked. "We all saw him become a giant slime monster."

"Yeah. Not to mention you saw how salty the old man was." John added. "Might get a heart attack. Fingers crossed folks."

"Now might not be a good time for jokes guys." Henry muttered. "I think our problems are about to escalate."

Anankos rose up. "Bwahahahaha! Ahhh... I'd forgotten how much power I'd given him. And my Dragonstone. It's good to have them back!"

Corrin looked at him. "What did you say?!"

The dragon leered at them. "Never you mind, insect! You stand no chance against a dragon! I'll crush your bones beneath my feet—and even that fate is more than you deserve!"

With one more roar Anankos dragged its head back to the wall. The cracks on the mask broke off and reviled four red eyes. There were screams and gasps among the team as they looked at them. The head dragged itself back further into the wall. A bright purple light erupted from the castle and a large dragon came out destroying the wall. In its mouth was a sphere filled with glowing red eyes.

"Holy smoke!" Lion yelled. "Look at the size of that thing!"

Shigure trembled at the sight. "Is…is this Anankos'…true form?"

The dragon roared as it tilted his head up and a purple sphere came out of his mouth. As his large wings lifted him off the ground the sphere crating a large hole in the sky. "What's he doing now?!" Alm asked.

Bits of the destroyed wall were sucked into the hole. "This looks bad." Tin Man said.

"Ya think?" Lion asked.

"Everyone, get back!" Marth yelled.

Anankos circled around and slammed into the castle grasping it in its claws. He pulled on the structure and good chunk of it broke off. He dragged it into the hole with him along with Corrin, Azura, Shigure, Shiro, Seigbert, Marth, Roy, Ike, Chrom, Robin, Lucina, Alm, Celica and all of the Hoshidan and Nohrian royals, and the members of S.T.E.A.M.

"No!" Marc ran toward them but stopped at the edge of the destroyed castle. More Vallite troops filled what was left of the castle.

I wanted to have Garon do a bit more here before becoming dragon food. As happy as I am that he wasn't the final boss for all three paths, the way he went out in Revelations was painfully anticlimactic. Frankly I think he should have been the boss for chapter 26 and the whole Gunter being a traitor thing should have been scraped seeing how meaningless it was. But that's just me. Anyway, the final battle is approaching! Look forward to it next time!
