I know I said I was going to do the good ending first, but then I started working on the bad ending and... well, you'll see why I did what I did regarding the bad ending! Well, here we go! The bad ending to 'Touchy-Feely Sister'!
Arnold bit his lip a bit as he looked between the two panties the girls were wearing. It was pretty obvious who Lulu was the minute he noticed the green and blue striped panties... but did he have the guts to turn her in? He clearly didn't know EXACTLY what was going on, due to all the confusion, but maybe it was all just a big misunderstanding. He was reminded of those old movies that he watched where a good guy wanted so desperately to be a bad guy that she hitched herself with said criminal and went on many adventures together. Arnold couldn't help but smile to himself, thinking about that movie...
On the other hand, there was Lila, in an attempt to disguise herself as Lulu, who had the white panties on. Even if Lila didn't tell him about his cousin and Lulu, Arnold would have known right away this wasn't Lulu anyway, because he distinctly remembered what panties Lulu told him she was going to wear. But if Lila had went through all this trouble just to tell her what she had found out about Lulu, then... maybe it was a good thing he told her.
He groaned, knowing that it was confusing. He looked between his shoulder angel, who looked like he was remaining neutral, and his shoulder devil, also remaining neutral. He looked between the two girls as he couldn't help but note that Lulu, dressed as Lila, looked slightly to her left to peek out at the nervous Arnold and winked at him. Arnold turned and noticed that Lila, dressed as Lulu, was shutting her eyes nervously, obviously not wanting to be here and looking rather embarrassed by the fact she was doing this.
And then, after a long minute of looking, Arnold opened his eyes as he looked at the police, still looking confused as to what the boy was asking. "Officers, the girl you're looking to arrest..."
Lulu gave a grin as Lila opened one eye, obviously nervous as Arnold walked over to the girls... before Arnold pointed to the girl in disguise. "...is this one!"
Lila looked up and noted Arnold's finger pointed to her. "Wait, what?!"
Lulu gave a hefty grin as she looked up, licking her lips. She could see the dazed look in the boy's eyes. And she couldn't feel more happier that Arnold had gotten her free as she stretched. "Oh, Arnold, thank goodness you were here to ever so tell the difference."
"Wh- no!" Lila begged as one of the officers grabbed Lila and cuffed her. "Stop! Please, something's not right!"
Arnold could only watch, feeling satisfied as Arnold's angel looked flabbergasted, with Arnold's devil doing cartwheels in the air, obviously celebrating the fact that Arnold had just saved Lulu. Arnold's angel looked over to the blonde haired boy and glared at him, as he said, "You golden haired motherfuc-"
But before the angel could finish his sentence, it keeled over in pain as the angel's transformation had taken place. The devil shook his head as he sat down near the boy's right shoulder, whispering, "Hey, don't worry about him. He's currently going through a little transformation right now. But let me say this, boy-o. You are a god-send for saving your girl."
Arnold gave a nod as he looked over at the police as Lila started to cry, getting cuffed and begging for release. Arnold could only shake his head as he looked darkly at the lying Lila. If that girl thought she could try and separate him from his girl, then she was sadly mistaken.
"I can't believe she would do this to me..." Arnold said darkly as Lulu went over and held his hand, trying to comfort the boy as she whispered in his ear.
"Don't worry, at least it'll ALL be over soon." Lulu said as she turned to the officer. "Officer, would you mind if I had a few minutes alone with Arnold? He ever so clearly needs the comfort of his best friend right now..."
"Of course, sweetheart. You take all the time you need." The officer said as he turned around, with the officers going out and dragging a crying Lila out. Arnold and Lulu looked at each other as they gave smirks, and looked at each other with a combination of lust and love in their eyes.
Of course, Arnold thought he heard a heartbroken sigh in the distance somewhere, but he promptly ignored it as both he and Lulu got up.
Back outside, Mr. Sawyer slammed the brakes as he arrived back at the train station and got out of the car. As he did so, he noticed a group of officers coming out, pulling a crying Lila by the ear as Mr. Sawyer paused, looking horrified as he got out. "Wh-what's going on?"
One of the officers turned and raised an eyebrow as he said, "Who might you be?"
"I-I'm this girl's daughter!" Mr. Sawyer frowned, pointing to Lila, looking up in hopes. "And I demand to know what is happening!"
"Ah, Mr. Sawyer, then. Sorry to say this, Mr. Sawyer, but this girl has been arrested for kidnapping young boys. Secret operation and all that. And pretty soon, we'll get the location of her mother's whereabouts!" The officer said.
"Mother's whereab- no..." Mr. Sawyer said in horror as he looked down. "She promised me that she wouldn't do this. She promised me!"
"Daddy, please, you got to help me!" Lila begged. "I'm not Lulu, I'm Lila! I just dressed as Lulu to get to the train station to convince Arnold of something! HELP!"
Mr. Sawyer looked over and took a closer look at the girl as his eyes widened, instantly recognizing something. "What the- that's not Lulu!"
Before the officer could correct him, another police car approached, along with a Packard as everyone turned. Gerald, Phoebe and another officer quickly got out of the car as Phil was getting out of the Packard, looking a little winded.
"Okay, I hope we're not too late..." Phil said as he started to head towards the officers. "Where is he, where is he?"
Gerald and Phoebe looked around and noticed the officers had grabbed someone who looked like Lulu. Phoebe raised an eyebrow as she asked one of the officers, "Why are you guys holding Lila against her will?"
Lila's eyes lit up as she yelled, "SEE, SHE KNOWS WHO I AM?!"
The officer blinked as he turned to Phoebe. "No, sweetie, that's the criminal, Lulu!"
"No, that's Lila. Her hair's darker! Lulu's hair is more of a lighter orange! Do you people not notice the hair colors on these girls?!" Phoebe glared at the officer holding Lila.
The officer holding Lila paused as he looked at the girl he was holding. "But Arnold said that this was her..."
"Oh no..." Gerald covered his mouth in horror. "Then... did she really get... complete control?"
"Where is he?! WHERE IS HE?!" Phil grabbed one of the officers by the coat and growled at him, tears in his eyes.
"He was left with the other twin inside the train station!" The officer said... before a train whistle blew. Silence filled the air as heads immediately turned to see that one of the trains had left the station. Phil dropped the officer in horror as he felt weak in the knees... and fell down, a heartbroken "no" escaping his lips.
"Oh no..." Phoebe gasped. "We didn't get there in time..."
The officer looked over at the worried Lila as Mr. Sawyer, now looking closer and pulling out a picture of his daughter, nodded as he showed it to the officer. The officer, embarrassed about his mistake, released Lila as she hugged Mr. Sawyer, giving a small cry. Mr. Sawyer gave a small cry as well as they looked towards the departing train.
Gerald's heart fell as he looked down. "And that train was heading to..."
"Spireville." The last officer who left the station said as the police looked over to the sadden people. "We left those two alone and they grabbed the next train..."
No words were spoken afterwards as failure was seen across all faces that day...
Inside the train to Spireville, Arnold and Lulu were holding each other, giving sweet kisses as Lulu fluttered her eyes towards the boy, "Thank you for saving my life back there, Arnold."
"Hey, I knew I had to save you, babe." Arnold said as he settled himself down at his seat. "I will admit, your twin sister certainly had ME fooled, thinking she was you. I mean, you told me you never met Arnie before in your life, right?"
"Of course, sweetie." Lulu said as she stroked the boy's hair. "Lila couldn't stand the fact that I was happy to be with you. She didn't even know what she was missing out on."
Arnold laughed as he shook his head, "To think, I once had a crush on that bitch."
"But everything's all over now." Lulu gave a smile as she kissed the boy. "You saved my life, we'll be going home..." Lulu gave another kiss to the boy. "And we'll live happily ever after with my mother. And you'll find yourself some good work on the farm."
"Yeah..." Arnold grinned. "And you know, I don't need school or an education. You're all the education I would ever want, Lulu."
Lulu giggled as she kissed Arnold. "How much do you love me, Arnold? Tell me honestly?"
"Enough that I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Lulu... raising a family, having a wonderful time..." Arnold grinned.
Lulu giggled as she whispered to Arnold, "Well, good news for you, you won't have to wait too long for a family."
Arnold paused, wondering what the girl meant. Lulu could only smile as she kissed him. "Don't worry about it. Anyway, could you stay here while I make a quick call?"
The football headed kid nodded dumbly as Lulu got up and walked out the door, leaving Arnold to his new fantasies and new life... all of which involved the beautiful Lulu...
FOUR MONTHS LATER
There was no doubt that word of Arnold being kidnapped and missing had spread around Hillwood. Every kid that knew him, every adult that ever had contact with him, grew more concerned every day as it was all over the news. An APB was sent out almost immediately after he ran off with Lulu, but so far, there had been no luck searching for him. Even when the police in Spireville arrived at the train station to stop Lulu and Arnold in their tracks, strangely enough, nobody resembling a football headed boy or a country girl in pigtails were seen walking out the door, causing more confusion than before.
Fifi refused to talk or give away the location of her friends, even after being threatened to be kicked out of a high height. It was about the one thing that Fifi would refuse to talk about. With no other choice, she had been sent to jail, in hopes that one or the other would come and release her. Nobody ever did, and Fifi was left to rot in jail, and even to her last days, she STILL had the belief that her best friend or her mother would come and break her out.
Lila and Mr. Sawyer immediately cut Lulu and Mr. Sawyer's ex out of their lives the minute the truth had been revealed to them. Lila had been most upset that she and her father were being used as a beacon, and Mr. Sawyer was equally upset at his ex-girlfriend for not upholding her end of the promise. But either way, they knew they had to move out of Hillwood, under witness protection, all due to the fact that they didn't want to hurt any more people than they already had. So, Lila and Mr. Sawyer were never heard from again.
Of course, Arnold's departure hit a lot of people hard as things remained silent... Phil and Gertie took it the hardest as even Gertie wasn't in the heart to roleplay anything. Of course, the boarders were quite concerned with the two old people and tried their best to get them to cheer up, but they wouldn't budge for anything. It was clear their hearts were broken, and a sense of failure had crossed the old couple's minds...
Gerald, being Arnold's friend, was very hurt at the fact that he would never be able to see his best friend again, but thanks to Phoebe, he got through some tough times. Even his family, who knew that Arnold was his best friend, tried to cheer him up. Even Jamie-O was making sure Gerald had a little smile on his face every day. But it still didn't take away the pain of his best friend being long gone.
Phoebe was currently busy, looking over her traumatized boyfriend and her traumatized new sister at the same time... and yes, Helga had officially been adopted by the Heyerdahls. After research found that the Patakis had not been treating Helga quite well at home, Bob and Miriam were, by court, undeemed to raise a child in the homelife they were in. Even Olga, who heard the news and admitted to her parents's crimes, did not get off so easily as she was sentenced to probation, only allowing to visit Helga every three months. And after some persuasion, the Heyerdahls agreed to adopt Helga into their family... if only for the sake of Phoebe's friendship.
Helga herself had never felt better. Yeah, she was just as concerned for Arnold as everyone else, but... when thinking about it, she didn't actually miss him. Even Phoebe, when she came to the hospital room sadly and told her that Arnold was gone, Helga said nothing. She knew at that moment that she wasn't in love with Arnold anymore. A part of her was concerned that he was missing, but the other parts also told her that... she knew Arnold made his decision, and was probably happy about it... even if the happiness he was feeling was false.
But still, Helga knew that a lot of people were hurting from Arnold's disappearance. So, without even knowing it, she had taken over Arnold's role of being the wise person giving advice, which she was never good at before. She didn't let her hatred of Arnold get to her, nor did it affect her every day life... as a matter of fact, she felt more like a... free person. Would she ever feel love again? She didn't know for sure, but being adopted into a new family, helping people out... it gave her a new perspective on life.
And today, Helga was standing in front of the boarding house... the place where Arnold once lived. She gave a huge sigh as she looked down. How she snuck in that same house many times to try to either get some secret thing away from Arnold or just wanted to be in his bedroom, watching from the window. Those were the days...
But today, Helga was on a mission. One of the boarders had called her up and told her that Phil and Gertie were still upset about their grandson, and figured they needed some tough love to cheer them up. The blonde haired girl gave a sigh as she walked up to the door and knocked on it. A few minutes later, the door opened up as a lot of animals were seen running out, including Arnold's pet pig, Abner, who was running a little slower than usual. Abner quickly looked up at Helga as the girl gave a sad smile, patting the pig on the head.
"I'm sorry." Helga sighed. "His leaving affected me a lot too."
As soon as she watched Abner following his fellow cats and dogs, she turned to see Mrs. Kokoshka standing nearby, looking concerned, "Okay, lady, I came as fast as I could. Where are they?"
"Right in the kitchen. I should probably tell you right now, though, they're not as responsive as they once were. I saw Oskar break something in the house, and they didn't even turn." Susie said in worry. "So, please, get through to them."
"I'll try, but I can't guarantee results." Helga said as she walked inside, looking around at the dark and musty area before cautiously walking to the kitchen, with Phil and Gertie sitting silently in the kitchen, Phil drinking coffee with Gertie having a rocking chair, looking down.
"Uh... hi." Helga nervously waved as she sat down between Phil and Gertie as she looked between the two. The two old people said nothing, but they were clearly aware of Helga being there. "You guys are... looking well."
Silence filled the room as Gertie was breathing heavily and Phil taking another sip. Helga looked down as she looked between the two. "Look, I get it. You're upset because your grandson left you, cut you guys out of his lives... but you know that's not his fault, right?"
More silence had filled the room as Helga just sat awkwardly. Helga gave a sigh as she said, "I get it. You two feel like you failed. You didn't do a good job as grandparents and now Arnold's run off and you don't know where he is. But..." Helga sighed. "Oh God, how does Arnold do this...?" After biting her lip, she sighed, "If he was here right now, he wouldn't want you moping."
Phil put down his coffee cup as he looked over to Helga, as did Gertie, slowly lifting her head up. Helga sighed as she said, "You guys are probably one of the most uplifting people that always cheered everyone up in a time of need. Look, I get what you're feeling. I had that feeling too, when I was kidnapped by that... that bitch's criminal friend. And... even though I don't know where he is, I know he's not dead. But he'd really wouldn't want you to act all mopey like this."
Helga sighed as Phil and Gertie looked to the young girl. Helga sighed as she said, "That bitch told me in the video I saw, and I'm going to assume the police told you as well... she got pregnant with Arnold's kid. And Arnold would never leave family, even if it's a little messed up. I know the news of being great-grandparents is probably taking your toll and that you're never going to know that great-grandchild of his... but somewhere out there, a brainwashed boy is currently living in a farm somewhere in the world, currently raising a son or a daughter, and he's spending quite a lot of quality time with the mother of his kid. But I'm sure that maybe the real Arnold is somewhere, and you can't just sit around moping, right?"
Phil and Gertie looked at each other, before looking at Helga. Helga paused as she sighed, before getting up.
"You're right."
Helga looked up as Phil looked at his wife, then at Helga as he gave a grin. "You're right, little girl! The police are getting nowhere with their search, but we can't just sit around, hoping that Arnold returns. If we're going to get him to return, we need to look for him ourselves!"
"Hee haw!" Gertie laughed as she got up and put on a cowboy hat. "And we're going to be the ones to get Kimba back home before you know it!"
Helga gave a small smile between the two as she said, "Then I shouldn't stop you two. Go out on an adventure and save your grandson!"
"We'll certainly do that!" Phil laughed as he and Gertie started to walk upstairs, a spring in their step as Helga watched. Helga couldn't help but give a small smile. She looked at her watch and noticed that it was five o'clock. Almost time for her to get back to the Heyerdahls. As she got up and started to head out the door, she heard Phil call up to her.
"Hey, Helga, you want to come with us? It's a rescue mission, after all!" Phil grinned.
Helga looked up to the smiling grandfather, looking quite eager. Helga paused as she looked concerned... before sighing.
"Sorry, Phil. But..." Helga sighed. "...my time for adoring Arnold is over. I moved on to better things."
Phil frowned, but sighed. "I understand."
"All I can do is... wish you good luck." Helga said as she looked up to Phil.
Phil looked down towards the girl, before giving a nod as he gave a thumbs-up. Giving a small smile, Helga returned the thumbs-up as she walked out the door and right downstairs. As she did so, she noted Abner sitting near the base of the stairs. Helga noted that Abner had begun following the girl, much to her notice. Helga looked a bit annoyed at first... before giving a sigh as she turned to Abner. "Hey. Want to come home with me?"
Abner's ears lifted up as the pig bounded over to her happily, like a dog. Helga laughed as she walked with Abner, rubbing his ears as she gave a smile. "Come on, then. We can move on from him together."
With that said, Helga and Abner walked away from the Sunset Arms boarding house as they looked around at the neighborhood, seeing many civilians going about their every day business, Mrs. Vitello selling flowers, Harvey the mailman collecting mail from the mailbox, Mr. Green giving a lot of packed ribs and ham to a four-month pregnant Chloe, Helga couldn't help but give a sigh. This was her town, and she couldn't wait to be the talk of the town.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the fields of an undisclosed location, inside a house somewhere, a football headed boy was seen cleaning a house as he was humming a little tune to himself. Being a house husband felt right for the most part. And then, he heard the familiar sound of a vehicle approaching as the boy's eyes lit up as he looked out the window to see a car parking. Looking eager, he stepped away from the window as he put the broom away before running downstairs and openly displaying his arms wide open as the door opened. The young wife of the boy, giving a smile, came in as the football headed boy hugged her. The red haired country girl hugged her back as she whispered in the boy's ears, "Guess what, Mr. Verisity. We're going to have a girl."
The boy couldn't contain his excitement as he engulfed his red haired girl in a long kiss. He had not regretted the day that he left with this young beauty, and he loved the feeling of being in a loving family like hers...
As for the red haired girl herself, she was just as equally glad. She didn't need the other boys that were at the farm. As far as she was concerned, there was one boy for her... and that was her true love, her husband, and her forever friend... and his name... was Arnold...
And that's the bad ending! Next time, we'll be showing off the good ending! Stay tuned!
