Inside the strange void, Corrin and his friends gapped at the sight of the Dragon leering over them.

Lincoln kept his rapier pointed at the monster. "So, this is Anankos' true form."

Robin glowed yellow and jumped into the air. "THORON!" A beam of light flew towards Anankos, but with a roar it brought up a arm and blocked the attack with his bare hand. "What?!"

"Someone please tell me he didn't just tank a blow from our big gun!" Tom yelled.

Anankos let out a roar so powerful, nearly the entire team was knocked over. Takumi nearly dropped his bow. "Impossible... This is...impossible... There's no way we can defeat that..."

"Damn it!" Leo growled. "What can we possibly do? The world is done for..."

Xander let out a faint chuckle. "Hah. Fate is a funny thing. I never thought my final moments would be alongside a Hoshidan prince."

Ryoma laughed. "I couldn't have said it better myself. But I won't die so easily. If our time has come, I'll meet it on my feet!"

Azura was leaning against Corrin. "It can't be... Have we truly failed? Was everything for naught?"

Corrin was barley able to stand. "This…this is it…for the world…for all of us…"

"Uh oh. We've got another problem gang. Our dear leader has somehow been replaced with this whinny double of him."

Corrin looked over at Henry who was smirking at him. "What?"

"Corrin's always been whinny." Ike grinned. "But yeah. Whoever this guy pretending to be him is even more so."

"That's right." Chrom nodded. "What happened to the man who wanted to bring peace to this world and never stopped believing in others?"

Roy stood tall. "We came this far together. If we fight side by side, we can win this war!"

Marth pointed Falchion at Anankos. "We are this worlds final hope. If we give up now we will have failed all who helped us get this far."

The president smiled at Corrin. "Your troops have spoken son. A true leader values the opinions of the men and woman that fight with him."

Corrin smiled and stood up. "Everyone…You're right! No matter how massive this dragon seems, we can win as long as we work together! I won't stop believing in us! We've fought too hard to give up now!"

Xander slowly got up. "Corrin..."

Ryoma smirked. "Of course..."

Corrin watched everyone get up and then faced Anankos. "We won't back down! This is my... This is our destiny! Ready your weapons! Fight for your friends! With the Seal of Flames... With the Fire Emblem on our side! We fight for our all of our worlds!"

Azura looked at her chest, where her pendant used to be. "Without mother's pendant I can do nothing to help…"

"Don't say that." Shigure marched over to Azura and held up his pendant. "We still have mine. Mother…What I wanted more then ever growing up was a chance to sing with you someday. I just wish it was under happier circumstances."

"Shigure…" Azura smiled at her son. "Alright…One…Two…Three."

"You are the oceans grey waves…Destined to seek life beyond the shore just out of reach…"

Anankos roared as the eyes within the sphere in his mouth flashed blue. "Hey, it's working!" Dorothy cheered.

"Come on! Now's our chance!" Takumi yelled.

Robin landed on the ground. "Start with his arms. Once we disable those, he won't be able to defend himself."

"You heard that tactician, let's move!" Henry ordered. The team yelled as they charged in separate directions.

Smoke rose from the ground and with it, more enemies. On the left side Shiro and the President cut down a knight, while John bashed a horse with his hammer. Celica finished off its ridder. On the right Henry priced a soldier's armor before Seigbert knocked a archer aside.

As the others made progress, Anankos leered over Azura and Shigure as they sang. Corrin looked back at them as the dragon's eyes glowed red. "NO!"

Just as Ananko's eyes fire lasers at them, Robin appeared in front of them and with an outstretched hand made a magical shield that blocked the attack. "I'll protect them! Just deal with those arms!"

"Right!" Corrin shot a blast of water at a swordmaster, as Ryoma and Hinoka dashed past him. They dove into the right hand with their weapons, piercing it. Anankos roared and turned his head to them but was shot in the face by Takumi and Sakura. Just then, from the left, Camila and Xander brought their weapons down on his left hand while Leo and Elise blasted him in the head.

Then John came in on the left hand. Ike on the right. At the same time they smashed their heavy weapons against Anankos' hands. He lost his grip on the platform and his head dropped to the ground.

"Now's the time!" Robin said. "Attack!"

Marth and Alm, thrusted their Falchions into the right side of Anankos' head. Chrom and Lucina pushed theirs in from the right.

"THORON!" Robin shot another beam of lightning into the sphere in Anankos' mouth, making him roar in pain.

Corrin then ran towards him. "It's over Anankos!" He leapt into the air, ready to bring the Omega Yato down on him. But while he was airborne, Anankos' body disappeared, leaving the sphere he had in his mouth behind. It glowed red and let out a tidal wave that swept everyone away. Robin tried to shield Azura and Shigure with his magic but the three of them were blown back as well.

Corrin grunted as he got up. His vision was blurry, but he could tell that everyone was blown over. "Come on…" John groaned. "We beat the body, so how's the ball in it's mouth winning against all of us?"

Corrin slowly got back to his feet. "Not yet…he hasn't won yet…"

The sphere started to glow red. Corrin charged towards it. Just when Corrin was mere inches away, a large bubble surrounded Anankos' core, shielding it. Corrin thrusted the Yato into the bubble. The tip made it through, but the blade then stopped before it could touch the core. The prince grunted when his feet slid back as the bubble expanded.

"Corrin!"

"Father!"

Azura and Shigure ran over to both sides of him and gripped the Yato with him, helping him push.

"We've come this far…We can't lose here!"

"Azura…"

"I already lost one world…I won't let Anankos take everything again!"

"Shigure…"

Suddenly, Anankos was wailed on from all sides. Everyone was attacking his shield all at once, either from up close or from a distance. Slowly the bubble around the core began to shrink. Corrin's Yato inched closer and closer.

"This ends now!" With one final push, Yato sunk into the core. A screech was heard as it started pulsing violently. It glowed red as if preparing one more attack.

SLASH

Henry and the President destroyed the bubble protecting it and impaling the core. "Mankind will decide its own fate now." The captain said.

Anankos' core dissolved. Once it had disappeared the transparent image of a figure in white with blue hair coming peeking out of a hood was seen.

"What is that?" Xander asked.

"He still ain't done?" Tom groaned.

Corrin stared at the man and slowly reached towards him. "Fa…ther…?"

The man smiled as he drifted away. "Corrin…Thank you." With his last words, he disappeared in a blue flash.

Once he was gone Corrin simply stood there. Shigure looked up "Did we do it? Did we beat the Silent Dragon?"

Azura nodded. "Yes... Anankos has been destroyed."

Elise cheered. "We did it! I feel so incredibly happy right now!"

"M-me too! I'm so happy!" Sakura nodded.

"I was honestly worried how things were going for a moment..." Leo sighed.

Takumi smirked. "It all worked out. We were able to win because we all worked together."

"Now the world is safe again... Thanks to our darling Corrin." Camilla laughed.

"This feeling of relief... It's very much like flying." Hinoka smiled.

Ryoma sheathed his blade. "The battle is over, Prince Xander. We have won."

"We have, Prince Ryoma. We've restored peace to the world together."

Azura smiled and looked up. "Mother... Father... We did it."

Corrin let out a sigh and sheathed Yato. "Azura. It's finally over."

Azura smiled and took his hands in hers. "Thank you, Corrin. I'm so glad I met you—that we fought together to accomplish this."

Corrin smiled back. "I feel the same way. Thank you, Azura!"

Henry smiled and turned to the President. "All's well that ends well, huh sir?"

His former leader smiled back. "All thanks to you never losing heart captain Fleming."

Suddenly the area was enveloped in light. Then they found themselves back in the castle. It was if the chunk of it they were in was never ripped out. "We back!" Queequeg said.

"Papa! Mama!" Kamuri and Kana ran towards their parents. The whole army was close behind them.

"Whew! Been a long journey!" John laughed. "But we finally did it!"

Dorothy winked. "Just goes to show that when S.T.E.A.M. starts a job, they finish the job!"

Marth smiled and nodded. "The day has been won my friends. The future of this world is secure."

Chrom smiled at Lucina, and Robin. "Let's hope we see some peace for a while."

Robin chuckled before returning to his normal colors. He looked at his hand. "Yes. Hopefully I won't need to rely on this power ever again. But if that day comes, I'll do what I must."

"Mr. President!"

As soon as they heard Lion's voice, everyone looked at Lincoln, who's body started to dissolve. But the man simply laughed. "Why so surprised? I was revived with Anankos' power. Doesn't it make sense that I would disappear along with him?"

Henry walked towards him. "Sir…"

"Captain Fleming. I knew I made the right choice when I passed the torch to you. You and S.T.E.A.M. are my greatest accomplishment. And I'm proud of all of you."

"Mr. President…Thank you. Know that the people you protected are safe with us."

"I leave it to you then." He then turned to Corrin. "And as for you my friend, I'm sure you can bring a whole new peace to Valla. Remember what I told you. What helps the most people. If you ever lose your way, just ask yourself that. And I assure you, you will find your path."

Corrin nodded. "Thank you. I haven't known you for very long, yet I have learned so much from you. I promise to strive to be the leader you envisioned in me."

The President smiled as the last of him faded away. "Farewell my friends. Thank you."

Everyone watched as he vanished. "There he goes…Your world brought us a good man." Leo said.

Henry nodded.

"What was his name?" Ryoma asked.

"Abraham Lincoln."

"I see…I'll remember that name."

"As will I." Xander added.

Suddenly the door burst open. Everyone turned around to see a maid in blue, with blue hair and a white headcloth. "Lord Corrin!"

"Who's that?" Ike asked, drawing Ragnell. "Another servant of Anankos?"

"Wait!" Roy held his arm in front of Ike. "I know that voice…"

Corrin couldn't believe it. "Lilith?!"

"Wait, THAT'S Lilith?!" Lilina asked. "No way!"

The girl ran over to the others.

"What happened?" Corrin asked. "I thought you said you could never take your human form again."

"The Astral Dragon Moro did this…to thank me…he brought me here, saying Anankos has…fallen."

"Yes…we defeated him."

Lilith looked somewhat saddened. "I see…Lord Corrin…I have something I must tell you…I-

"You don't need to say anything Lilith. I heard about it from Severa and her friends."

"What?"

"Lilith…our father has been freed. He can rest in peace."

Lilith's eyes began to water. "…Corrin…I…I…"

The prince embraced her. "It's okay to cry sister."

Lilith lost control and began to sob on his chest. "Corrin…"

"It's okay Lilith…It's okay…" Corrin gently patted her back. Everyone went silent.

That is until John looked at Henry. "So, what do we do now?"

"Well…Honestly I spent all this time thinking about our mission rather than how we'd get home once completing it…"

Lilith parted from Corrin. "*sniff* I…I can speak to Moro…maybe he can think of something…"

"Thanks. Well…while we're waiting…I imagine there's going to be some cleaning up to do around here."

"With the Silent Dragon dead, the curse should be gone." Shigure looked at the heads of the Royal families. "Prince Ryoma, Prince Xander, you should tell your people to cease hostilities."

"Agreed." Ryoma nodded. "We've lost enough innocent lives."

Marth smiled at Henry. "Our journey isn't over yet, is it?"

The captain chuckled. "Not yet pal. Not yet."

Yup, the battles are all over, now all that's left is a little clean up. Two more chapters to go, and this story will be finished.
