Life (Sibling Rivalry Meets The Runaways & The Other Side of the Fence)
Chapter 47: The Start of Something New:
"I think that's the last of it." Sora placed the last box down on the floor of Kairi's and Xion's new apartment. After Sora stood up straight, he stretched his arms above his head. Now that summer was over, it was time to start school. This time, things would be different. They were no longer on the island and now there was more freedom to do what they wanted.
Kairi stepped in beside him and smiled with her hands behind her back. "Thanks!"
Nearby, Roxas looked around at the girls' new apartment. "This seems nice."
Xion smiled as she looked around as well. "It is."
Sora turned toward the three. "Even better, we're just a floor above you guys."
A look of disappointment came as Kairi wrapped her arms around Sora's neck and leaned against him. "Still…I just wish that we didn't have to live separately..."
Sora felt disappointed as well. They were finally free from living with their parents and a newlywed couple, but they still had to be separated for a little while longer. "I know…"
Roxas and Xion glanced at each other before they looked at them. Roxas held out his hand. "You two can still see each other. Just don't come in at any time at night."
Kairi separated from Sora and turned toward them. A small smirk came to her lips. "Same to you two."
Inside, Xion was sad that the two couldn't live together. She knew they really wanted to. She wished there was something she could do to help. Then, a surprised look came to her face as a thought came to mind. "Vanitas and Aqua are here... right?"
Confusion became written on Sora's face as to why she brought that up. "Yeah…?"
Xion placed her fist in her hand. "If I remember right… Isn't your brother living with Aqua?"
Kairi became a little concerned over the two. "They're not supposed to, but they decided to anyway without her parents knowing. For now, they're keeping it a secret."
Sora placed his hands behind his head. "I wonder how long they've been getting away with it."
Kairi's eyes lowered toward the floor as she thought out loud. "I worry about how long it's going to last before her parents figure it out."
Sora gave a slight shrug. "I'm sure her parents don't visit as often, just like ours won't, since our school is kind of far away. So far, they seem to be all right."
Roxas shrugged. "Why do her parents have to know? They're the ones who are together." Then, Roxas turned his attention to Xion. His eyebrows furrowed as he was curious. "Where are you going with this?"
Xion looked over at Roxas. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"What?" For a moment, he searched her eyes for the answer. It was then he had some idea of what she thought.
Xion gave Sora and Kairi a serious look. "Since we know that you two are married and I'm sure you want to start living like a married couple, why don't we switch places?"
Everyone stared surprised at her suggestion. Sora and Kairi were open to the idea, but wondered how Roxas and Xion felt about living together. It would be a big step and the two had just gotten through something serious that brought them closer together in their relationship over the summer. Would they be ready...?
Roxas's eyes lowered toward the floor. The thought made him very nervous. He wasn't sure if he was ready. When he glanced over at Xion, he could see that she was nervous as well.
As she breathed out, Kairi turned to Sora. "I know my mom and dad wouldn't agree to something like that."
Sora stood calm. "I pointed out that they wouldn't come often. When they do, we'll just make sure that it looks like I'm living with Roxas and Xion is living with you."
Her eyes traveled to the side, uneasy. "You have a point... I mean how often would they come especially during the school year…?" Kairi looked up at Xion. "Are you sure about this? It is a big step."
Nervously, Xion swallowed deep and looked over at Roxas. "What- What do you think?"
Nervous, he rubbed the back of his head. "Well…"
Xion tilted her head, curious. "Do you not want to?"
He shook his head. "It's- It's not that. It's just... unexpected."
Kairi looked back at Sora concerned. "What do you think?"
He grinned. "I'm down for that."
Kairi placed her index finger to her lips. "Then it'll be our secret." While she was all right with the switch, she wondered if Roxas truly was. "So... what do you think Roxas?"
"Um…that's... fine," Roxas replied uneasy.
Kairi could see that they were still unsure. She didn't want to push that decision on them if they weren't ready. "Tell you what... We don't want to force it, so if it's too much, then we could switch back." Everyone was surprised by her suggestion. Sora turned to Kairi worried about the possibility of Roxas and Xion changing their minds. Then, his time with Kairi would be cut short again. Beside him, Kairi was worried about the same thing. It was risky, but she understood if it was too much for them. Roxas and Xion stared at her surprised at how generous she was being. They knew it was important for her to stay with Sora, but she kept their comfort in mind.
Sora sighed as he rubbed the back of his head and put his head down. "Kairi's right…If you guys aren't ready to live together…then we won't force it."
Roxas and Xion were more surprised that he agreed. Roxas could tell that it wasn't what Sora wanted to say, since he wouldn't look at them, but he showed that he really cared about them. Sora was the most unselfish person he knew. Roxas and Xion looked at each other. If Sora and Kairi were willing to put their happiness on hold for a little longer, then they were willing to give it a shot. "I guess…we could give it a try…" In response, Xion nodded. She didn't think it would be so bad living with him.
Kairi put her hands together in front of her, happy that they agreed. "Seems like the two of you are playing house already."
Nervously, Roxas smiled along with Xion. "Yeah… Yeah…Just make sure to hide your stuff really well if they do stop by."
Sora picked up a box, ready to move again. "Well good thing we didn't unpack anything yet. All right! So who wants to take this apartment and who wants to keep this one?"
"I don't mind us taking the upstairs one, if you guys want to take this one," Xion answered. Right away, she noticed she said 'I' and turned to Roxas apologetic. "Sorry… I should have asked which one you wanted to take."
Roxas shook his head to assure her she was all right. "The one upstairs is fine."
Kairi nodded. "Then let's get moving!"
Each one of them grabbed one of Xion's boxes. The girls walked ahead as the boys trailed behind them. Sora noticed the unease on Roxas's face and wondered what he was thinking. "What's wrong?"
Roxas looked over. "Hm? What makes you think something's wrong?"
"You kind of seem against moving in with Xion."
Roxas shook his head a little. "I'm not against moving in with Xion. It's just…" His eyes lowered toward the floor. "..It's a big step."
Sora smirked. "You complain about not spending enough time together. Now you can see her whenever you want. You pretty much spend most of your time with her anyway."
Roxas smiled a little. He felt a bit better. "I guess you're right."
Sora let out a gentle smile. "Living together will let you know if you're really right for each other."
Roxas was surprised by his wisdom. He smirked a little. "Seems like school has made you smarter already."
Sora rolled his eyes. "Oh haha…" he replied sarcastically. They spent the rest of the afternoon moving Xion's stuff upstairs and then moving Sora's stuff downstairs. Once the day was done, the two couples parted ways at Sora's and Kairi's new apartment. The four of them waved goodbye before Sora closed the door behind them and turned to Kairi. "Wow…Our first place already!"
She wrapped her arms around him as she smiled at him lovingly. "Yup!"
Sora looked toward the side a little concerned. "I hope Roxas and Xion will be okay..."
She understood his concern and she was concerned about it as well. "I'm sure it will take some time for them to get used to it, but I'm sure they'll like living together," she said, hopeful.
Sora nodded. "You're right. Just like we will too."
Kairi placed her hands in his as she grinned. "Welcome home…husband."
Sora laughed a little. It was funny hearing it out loud. "Thanks!" The two of them laughed together. This would be the beginning of a new journey together…
As night was set over campus, Xion stepped on one side of the bed as Roxas stood across from her. Even though they slept in the same bed before, they still felt nervous about spending their first night in their first apartment together. He rubbed the back of his head. "So…? Do you want to sleep on that side or…?"
Nervously, she smiled. "This is fine." Soon, she sat down in the bed. "Our first night together wasn't so bad," she joked. She thought about looking on the bright side, so it would help ease their jitters.
Roxas nodded. "Yeah." Afterwards, he cut off the light and crawled in beside her. The two looked at each other, happy. They talked until both of them fell asleep.
A sigh left from Kairi's lips as she pulled a box from the closet. School was almost ready to begin and she was still unpacking their things. She sat on the ground as she opened the box and searched through it. Today was a light day since there wasn't much to do yet, so now seemed like the best time. Out of the box, she pulled out a photograph. Instantly, a smile came across her lips. In the photo, Sora was grinning along with her as their heads were close together. Behind them, she could see the beach where they got married. She sat down on the floor as she grinned fondly. That day was still one of the happiest days of her life. She was grateful that Xion printed the picture out for them. For a few minutes, she reflected on her memories before she continued going through her box to see what she would find. Then, a curious look came on her face. She pulled out her old white shirt and plaid skirt uniform from school. She didn't realize that she had packed it.
Suddenly, she heard the door open from the living room. Curious, she turned her head. "Sora?" At first, there was no response.
In the living room, he plopped down on the couch tired. "Kairi…I'm back…"
She poked her head out of the bedroom door. "How was your day?"
He let out a sigh. "Long… I'm just glad it's over…"
She noticed his little frown and how he sounded down. Then, she looked down at the clothes in her hand. An idea came to mind. Sora closed his eyes as he relaxed on the couch. Things were peaceful now and he was back at his new home with Kairi. Now, they were living like an actual married couple. "Hey!"
When he opened his eyes, surprise came to his face as he sat up. A little red came to his cheeks. "Hey!" His eyes scanned over her body as he became curious. "What are you doing in your old uniform?"
She placed her hands behind her back. "I must've packed it by accident." She twirled around from side to side. "See? It still fits."
"I see that."
Kairi sat down on the edge of the couch near him. "Brings up a lot of memories."
The two grinned toward each other. His fingers played with the ends of her skirt. "Yeah. You always looked cute in it. Way better than I would've looked."
She giggled. "You never know unless you try it on."
They laughed a little. Then, he opened his eyes. "It's weird you know…"
She became curious. "What?"
His eyes traveled along the floor as he thought back. "Back then… we would try and spend as much time as we could together, but now…we actually get to live together."
Kairi nodded. "Yeah."
Sora grinned. "Remember the time when I came over to your house to do homework?"
"We did more than homework if you remember right…"
He grinned. "Oh...! I remember..."
Curious, she placed her hair behind her ear. "What was it that…made you…?"
He caught on to what she wanted to ask. "It's just something about you in your uniform that…it drove me crazy."
Kairi blushed a little. She turned her head from him. "And now…?"
"Of course!" he answered without hesitation.
She stood up as she brushed her skirt down. "Good to know."
Sora lifted his eyes curious as Kairi had her back turned to him and arms behind her back. "Wha-?"
"Then…there's something I need to ask."
He tilted his head curious. "What's that?"
She turned around with her hands behind her back. There was an pleading look on her face. "Will you… give me another chance?"
A clueless look came on his face. "Huh?"
In her head, it sounded silly, but she was willing to give her idea a try. She looked toward the side. "I know I haven't done very good this semester…, but I really am trying my best… and I can't fail this class," her voice sounded soft and worried as she swayed her hips back and forth. "Is there anyway you can reconsider... letting me pass…" Her eyes lifted up to him as her eyes were big and innocent. "…as my teacher?" Sora was at a loss for words. Kairi's hands grabbed onto his. "Please…I'm sure there's something I can do to convince you otherwise…"
Red flooded his cheeks as he stared stunned. His eyes traveled a little lower. He could see inside of her shirt that she left unbuttoned. Then, he put his fist near his lips as he cleared his throat and looked toward the side, serious. He already had some idea of what she was up to and decided to follow along. "I'm-I'm sorry, but…rules are rules. You'll just have to retake my class again and do better."
Kairi sat on the edge of the couch as she still held onto his hand. "But there has to be some way…"
Sora held up his other hand as he frowned. "I'm sorry, but there's not."
She leaned closer to him as he leaned back with her hands on his shoulders. "There's nothing that I can do …?"
He sat up as he slipped passed her. "I can't."
Disappointed, she pleaded with him again. "At least let me try." She leaned in and pressed her lips against his cheek. An innocent smile crossed her lips. "How was that?"
He crossed his arms as he closed his eyes serious. "Hmm…It will take more than that to convince me."
"I see..." She tilted her head more as she leaned in toward his face. Her lips met his. His eyes lowered to a close as he leaned back. He placed his hands against her back.
Minutes passed by as she lied against him as their lips moved slowly. Then, she lifted her head as he smiled at her with his hands on her cheeks. "I don't know…" He placed his hands behind his head. "I'm still not convinced…"
Kairi let out a defeated smile. "But what else can I do…?"
Sora grinned as he stood up and headed toward their room. "I could use your help for something..." Afterwards, she followed him inside. Once they were in, he pointed toward the bed. "I think I lost something over there. Would you help me?"
"Sure." Curious, she crawled onto the bed and looked around. "What are you looking for anyway?"
Suddenly, she felt him press against her back as his arm wrapped around her waist. "You… Here..."
Kairi let out a smirk. "I knew you were up to something."
He grinned. "Then why did you fall for it?"
"To see what you were to."
He tilted his head more to see her. "Well… You gave me the idea."
"Oh?" she sounded curious.
"I guess…I could let you try again… if you wanted."
XXX
His fingers loosened button after button until her shirt hung open. His hand went underneath her and squeezed the cup of her bra. A small sigh escaped her lips. He unhooked her bra and removed the straps from off of her shoulder. Afterwards, it dropped onto the bed below her. Her eyes lowered to a close as she could feel him rub the center of her breasts.
The tips his fingers brushed against her stomach toward her lower half. She let out a small moan as she felt his fingers brushed against her sensitive area over her underwear. He grabbed along the edge and pulled them further down her legs as his other hand continued to caress her breasts. His hips pressed against hers. He nudged her leg aside and caused them to spread further apart. His finger moved between her thighs. She closed her eyes as she began to moan out loud. Her hips pressed further into him as she arched her back and moved her hips up, giving him a better angle for his finger to continue.
It seemed she enjoyed his touch. It gave him an idea to push things further. For a moment, he stopped his hand. Before she had a second to ask, she felt his finger slide in and out of her opening. Instantly, she moaned. He was surprised to feel her insides overflowing without her finishing. He slid back inside as his thumb caressed over her sensitive area. She began to feel weak under his touch. He had found a way to utilize each finger and made her body his. He had complete control of her. The pleasure she felt already overwhelming her. Strength had already left her arms and soon began to leave her legs. They started to shake slightly underneath her.
Soon, he released her from his touch that left her body aching and throbbing. After he loosened his pants from his waist, his hand pressed against the side of her stomach. She followed his push and lied back against the bed. His body came over hers as she breathed hard. His hands pressed against her arms that were lying near her head. He moved in close and caused her legs to bend at his waist. He thrusted him inside of her and made her cry out. She raised his shirt over his head and tossed it toward the side. Their eyes closed as their lips met with a fierce kiss. Their tongues playfully rubbed against each other. His lips moved down from her lips to her neck and then toward her breast. Her eyes closed tight as she breathed in deep. Her back ached from off the bed. Louder, she cried out as more pleasure took over her body. He could feel her tightening in around him, which caused him to breath out. His hands grabbed onto her hips and pushed into her more. Moans left from his lips until he felt his release. His hands pressed against the bed as he breathed hard.
After giving his body a chance to rest, he looked below to see her breathing hard as her eyes were closed. He smiled toward her. "You win. I guess... I can let you pass this once."
She giggled. "I knew I could..." He leaned forward as he pressed his forehead to hers. He relaxed with her.
Later that afternoon, Sora heard a giggle. From the living room, he turned his head toward the kitchen. Kairi stood in front of the stove as she wore his shirt that stopped above her knees. There was a bounce in her step. When she leaned back, their eyes met. "Food's almost ready!"
He leaned against the top of the couch as his arm crossed over the top. "Okay! I'm starving."
Suddenly, they heard a knock. Kairi turned her head to Sora curious. "Were you expecting someone?"
Sora shook his head. "No... I don't think so…" Afterwards, he walked over toward the door. "Who is it?"
"It's Riku!" the voice answered through the door.
Their eyes widened toward each other, concerned. Sora smacked his hand against his head. "Sorry…I totally forgot."
Kairi smiled. "Better that he came now than earlier. It's actually a good thing. He can stay for dinner." Sora nodded in agreement. She headed toward the bedroom. "Answer it will you? I'm gotta go change."
"Got it!" He watched as she disappeared into the bedroom. Afterwards, he opened the door and waved. "Hey Riku!"
He stepped inside. "Hey!" Then, he noticed an inviting smell in the air. "Something smells good."
Sora pointed back. "Kairi's making dinner. She's hoping you could stay."
Riku nodded. "Sure."
A minute later, Kairi stepped out of the bedroom with pink sweater and shorts. "Riku!"
He greeted her with a warm smile. "Hey."
She placed her hands behind her back as she approached him. "I'm glad you could make it. Did you have a safe trip?"
He nodded as he sat down. "Yeah."
Sora and Kairi sat on the couch nearby, leaving no space between. They glanced at each other. The same thing ran through their minds as it had during the summer. She placed her hand on top of his. Then, both of them turned their attention to Riku. "We're glad that you made it." Kairi glanced at Sora once more before she continued, "There's something we want to tell you."
Riku arched his eyebrow. "Sounds serious."
Kairi waved her hand to assure him. "It is, but it's nothing for you to worry about. We…" She glanced at Sora once more. "During the summer, after we got engaged, we…" A smile curved at her lips that mirrored his. It made it a little easier to say. "We got married…"
Right away, Riku's lips parted as his eyes widened. "What?!"
Sora and Kairi held out their hands, pressed beside each other to show off their rings. "It's true. The day after we got engaged-." He glanced at her as he smiled. "-we got married."
Kairi looked over at Riku. "We wanted to tell you as soon as we got back to the island, but we hadn't gotten a chance to see each other while you were traveling. We wanted to tell you first face to face."
"...That's a big step." Then, Riku lifted his eyes to them. They seemed happy about their decision. "But... if you guys are sure, congratulations. I guess I owe you a present."
The two grinned. "As long as you stay and have dinner with us, we'll call that a present," Kairi replied. Afterwards, she stood up. "I'll go check on your food."
Soon, the two boys were alone. They turned their attention to each other. "So? How's married life?"
Sora rubbed the back of his head as he grinned. "It's been pretty good so far. I'm just glad that things worked out and we got to live together. I thought it would've been a few more years before we could. We really wish you could've been there with us."
"When it's spur of the moment, not much I can do."
Sora held up his fist in front of him. "But next time, when we can get everyone together, we'll have another wedding and you better be there!"
Riku chuckled a little. "I will. Did you at least like the one you had?"
A gentle smile crossed Sora's lips as he thought back. "Yeah…"
Riku tilted his head curious. "So do the others know about you getting married?"
Sora shook his head. "Besides Roxas and Xion, no one else knows." His eyes locked onto his green ones. "We wanted to tell you first before we tell anyone else."
"Roxas and Xion know," Riku pointed out.
Sora leaned his arm against the couch as he looked toward the side. "Everyone else left but them and we needed witnesses for the ceremony." He looked at Riku concerned. "You're not mad...are you?"
"Hm..." It was a lot to take in, but it couldn't be helped. It was just how things worked out. Riku shook his head and smiled. "No."
Kairi stepped back in the living room. "Dinner's ready!"
After they were done, Sora leaned back with his hands on the floor and patted his stomach. "I'm stuffed. Thanks Kairi!"
Riku stood up. "Thank you for the food. I better go."
She looked concerned. "Do you have to go now? If you want, you could stay the night. It will give us time to catch up."
When he looked over, he saw Sora grinned toward him, hoping that he would agree. "I guess…" he let out a smile. "that should be all right." Right away, he noticed their happy stares.
As the night progressed, the three spent some time together. After Kairi got ready for bed, she stepped back into the living room to see the two stare intensely at the television while they played a video game. She grinned as she watched the two. It seemed like old times. "Good night you two."
"Huh?" Sora looked back. "Oh! Good night Kairi!" He turned his attention back toward the screen quickly. She shook her head. Sometimes, he could get highly competitive...
Riku looked back. "Good night."
She nodded and waved. "Night!"
Riku looked over at Sora. He gave him a slightly dull stare because of how he said good night to his wife. "You could've paused you know..."
"What? Oh! Right…" Sora didn't think of that. Kairi watched them one more time and smiled before she left. It was good to see them together again. Later, she woke up in the middle of the night. She noticed that Sora hadn't come to bed and wondered if he was still up with Riku. When she stepped into the living room, she smiled at the next sight. Sora was asleep on one end of the couch as Riku was asleep on the other end. She figured they must've tired themselves out. She grabbed a blanket and placed it over them before she headed back to bed.
The next morning, the two of them waved goodbye to their silver haired best friend. Afterwards, Sora closed the door. Kairi grinned. "So? Looks like you two stayed up pretty late last night. What did you end up doing?"
Sora rubbed the back of his head. "Oh! Nothing much. Just played some games and caught up. We talked about you."
She looked surprised. "Me?"
Sora smiled. "When Riku asked how things were, I told him that I was happy. We got married and now we get to live together." Happy to hear his words, she smiled.
Later that afternoon, Riku stopped in front of a door. After hours of traveling, he had finally made it to his destination. He knocked on the door as he hoped that he was in the right place. Suddenly, the door opened. His eyes met with that of a short, blonde woman whose hair hung over her shoulder. Her surprise instantly changed to a smile. "You made it!" In response, he smiled and nodded. She stepped aside so that he could come inside of her one room, studio apartment in the city. "How was your trip?"
"It was fine," he responded.
Namine wondered if everything was all right. "It was a little later than I thought."
He looked back at her. "I stopped to visit Sora and Kairi. Turns out, they had some big news to tell me."
Curious, she stepped in front of him. "What?"
Riku's eyes traveled to the side as he thought back. "We knew that Sora was planning to ask Kairi to marry him and that she said yes, but... it seems the day after..., they eloped."
A stunned look came on her face. "E…Eloped?"
Riku nodded. "They had an opportunity and decided to take the leap."
"Wow…" Namine sat down on her bed near the window and he followed beside her. She chuckled a little. "I guess I should get them a present then..."
"I wouldn't worry about it. They plan on telling the others soon. Just give it a little time and act surprise." She nodded. He looked around at her apartment. "Nice place you got." He turned his attention to her. "How do you like the new city?"
"It takes some getting used to, but so far, so good. School should be starting soon." The two stared at each other until she laughed a little. She was happy to see him. "I'll admit… It's gets a little lonely…" Her eyes lowered. "…and I wish we could visit each other often."
He placed his hand on top of hers. "All we can do is try as much as we can."
She stood up concerned. "Still…I don't want you to go out of your way to…"
He stood up behind her and placed his hand on her shoulder. "It's all right. I don't mind." She smiled a little, but was still worried that it was too much. "Hey! Let's not worry about anything. I'm here, so what do you want to do first?" She smiled and decided to have fun with him instead of worry.
"Yo…!" Once Roxas opened the door, Axel waved and greeted him. "How's it hanging?"
Roxas stepped aside to let him. "Axel!"
Axel walked in and looked at the new surroundings. "Nice place."
Soon, Xion stepped out of their room and smiled once she saw Axel. "Axel!"
He waved again. Then, he looked curious. "Wait… I thought you were supposed to be living with Kairi…" Then, he turned to Roxas. "…and you were supposed to be living with Sora."
Roxas stood beside Xion as they smiled nervously. "Well… we sort of had a switch…"
Axel arched his eyebrow. "Wow…You two must've really wanted to live together."
Roxas and Xion glanced at each other before they looked back at Axel. They didn't want to tell the reason until Sora and Kairi made their announcement. "Something like that…"
Axel rubbed the back of his head. "I didn't think you guys were in a rush. Anyway, I guess we won't have much time to see each other with you guys going to school."
Xion smiled. "But you're welcome to come by anytime."
"I know..." Axel moaned. "Still not going to be easy though..."
There was a knock on the door. Surprised, Sora opened it to see Vanitas who stood beside Aqua in the hall. Vanitas looked away with his hands in his pockets as Aqua smiled toward him. She waved. "Hi!"
"Hi Aqua!" Sora grinned, devious. "Big brother…" he teased. He could see his face tense as his frown tugged on his lips.
Kairi appeared behind him and smiled. She waved toward Aqua. "Hey! Come on in!"
Aqua nodded. "I hope you don't mind us stopping by. We wanted to welcome you to your new place." They stepped inside and looked around. "Your apartment is really nice," Aqua commented. She turned her attention to Kairi. "How is everything going so far?"
Kairi nodded. "It's been good."
Aqua smiled. "Now that you're off the island, you guys have a little more freedom to do what you want. I'm sure you and Xion must be glad to have your own apartment."
Nervously, Kairi laughed. "Yeah… We are..."
"Hm." A suspicious look came on Vanitas's face. He could tell that she was hiding something. "What's really going on?"
Kairi and Sora looked at him surprised. "Wha-what do you mean?"
Vanitas stepped in closer as he glared. "Out with it. What are you two hiding?"
Sora and Kairi glanced at each other before they looked at the two. They figured they might as well come clean. "Well…Xion and I aren't living together. It's me and Sora."
Aqua looked a little surprised. "Really?"
"Well that didn't take long," Vanitas said.
Sora and Kairi sat down on the couch across from Aqua and Vanitas. Aqua looked concerned. "Did your parents approve of this?"
Sora smiled nervously and rubbed the back of his head. "We…sort of took a page from your book…"
"So you're blaming us for this idea?" Vanitas leaned back against his chair. "Don't get caught."
Sora smiled to assure him. "We won't."
Vanitas arched his eyebrow. "And don't take this as an opportunity to get busy all the time."
Confusion became written on Sora's face. "Busy?"
"You know. Staying in your bedroom all the time or where ever you do the thing." Aqua frowned and nudged Vanitas. Vanitas shrugged. "What? They're the ones who's gonna end up with an 'accident'."
Kairi frowned. "You're one to talk. The last time I came over, I was wondering the same thing. Lucky for you, there wasn't an 'accident'…yet."
Vanitas rolled his eyes. "Whatever…"
Kairi crossed her arms. "You should take your own advice."
Aqua tried to calm both of them down. "Try and get along you two. We'll be seeing each other more often."
Vanitas's eyes traveled to the side as he crossed his arms. "Hopefully not too often."
Kairi did the same. "Something we can agree on." Sora and Aqua smiled nervously. They hoped things didn't become worse between the two...
